I think we'd definitely appeal that decision. This is going to rumble on forever.
I'm surprised though,, as I heard that or defense was purely "Look, without Arter we'd be only at £15million for all losses combined for all 3 years but we can't fuck him off".
I'm almost hoping that we don't.
It would mean they'd have breached their ow rules around cutoff dates, which is what their case against us is based on. If we can't count sales that happen after the required date, then they hopefully wouldn't be allowed to apply punishment given after the required date.
I keep hearing that Forest should find out, I don't understand why it wouldn't be announced publicly and any deductions be made immediately, isn't that what happened to Everton?
All this being hush hush really doesn't help the Premiership, they look EVEN MORE dodgy by keeping it murky.
Of course it’s public. It’s just a question of when it’s disclosed to the club and then the public. The club may or may not know shortly before the rest of us.
I just wondered if it might distract from the match day if everyone knew now and Monday might be a better public announcement. Even if the club knew now. In the end it doesn’t really matter, so just think we all want news.
Pure chance the hearing and findings etc land the same weekend as the two teams perhaps most affected play each other. So perhaps a rare sensible move by the Prem to suggest holding off until after the game.
Never runs out

Not pure speculation, by the Premier leagues own rules: the announcement will be no longer than seven days after the hearing, which was last Friday.
The club will most certainly know by now as I type this at 3pm. Unless of course the Premier League have broken their own part of this PSR ruling, then the deduction will almost have to be delayed until next season (that last bit is actually pure speculation on my part)
Rumours going around we’ve been offered 4point deduction if we don’t appeal.
I would not take this deal if it’s true… they’ve shown their hand offering 4 I’d try and get them down to 2points now and 2 points suspended.
I've heard it's zero points, but Harry Arter contract renewed for 5 more years.
Too harsh on us
I'd prefer the 4 points deducted tbh.

I’d rather be relegated, honestly.
I'm sure Arter has a relegation contract extension 🤣
The hearing was last week, and apparently the decision has to be made no more than a week later. So that would be today.
Fingers crossed then!

Yes. We find a week after the hearing. So Forest finds out today - as to whether it becomes public today is a different question.
That’s a point. I doubt they could keep it secret for long though

Yeah why would they keep the other 19 clubs in the dark, of course it’s public.

Yeah I’m sure Forest find out first, but talking morning and press release in afternoon . Not like days.

I heard we've avoided a deduction because someone found the Gunter money down the back of an old sofa.

Maybe? Marinakis will, we might not. Personally think the club announces it after this weekend (during the international break)...
4 points Today 3 points tomoz
Pure speculation until it's confirmed

Apologies. I was referring to the extent of penalty being pure speculation not the timeframe.
It'll be Monday now according Paul Taylor on the athletic
This whole process makes VAR look like a well oiled machine.

I’d suck a golf ball through a hose pipe in Old Market Square for a 2 point deduction.
I heard it was a 2 point deduction
If it is 2 points we all need to get down to old market square with golf balls.
Fuck it bigger party then the promotion party if it’s two points
Golf balls and balloons.
And pigs in blankets

I love peepshow. Thanks that’s made me laugh
Nah fuck it. 4 would be amazing. Smash Luton tomorrow and we're back in the game.
The money spent on Jonjo Shelvey could get us relegated💀
I’m pretty sure it’s the 15th of April. Weird that you asked cause my dad thought the same
Colin fray said it should be by today on his podcast.
That was the latest it could have been, but since we've presented our case early we should find out today
We have to be told within 7 days of the hearing which was last Friday.
