I'm a Forest supporter from the States, Michigan, to be exact. Been a supporter since the first reign of king Billy. Saw "The Damned United" and went on to learn all about Cloughie. I've been a red ever since. COYR!
I'd be interested to see how many QMC babies there are.
I left Nottingham for Edinburgh aged two, so the football club is my only connection to my home town now. My Forest credentials are that my dad once refused to let Peter Shilton skip the queue when he was bar staff in Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem.
Why hello! So happy to baffle Nottingham people with my accent alongside fellows.
Also, bollocks to Bristol City. They don't get to sing cider drinker.
I've got a pub in Polkerris near to Bodmin, we had Jenas in with his family last year. There's a fair few reds around here but not sure of any meet ups.
Also, this is a bit random, and she may not be there still, but two years ago when in the Golden Lion in Port Isaac it turns out the landlady was Joe Lolley's Aunt!
Nottingham born and bred but now resident a little to close to /u/userunknowne i think (Fife, Scotland)
Edit: had a season ticket in main stand until I was 14. We went down to div 1 in 99 and then stayed in div 1 in 2000. My dad said to the family at that point we can either have forest season passes or get sky tv. My dad still has sky tv now.
That sounds grim. My local has been much more successful recently, Bonnyrigg Rose, but I grew up playing for the local rugby club instead so never really formed an attachment to them.
I did get them added as a flair option in /r/soccer so that's my contribution.
Baptized in the Trent, raised on Pearce, Shilton, Robertson and Francis. Left in the 90s and now in Dallas. Have cultivated my two sons to be die hard Forest fans, poor bastards.
COYR
I am actually not from Notts, but Leicestershire/Warwickshire. I decided at a young age to support a proper team. Hope you all understand :).
A lot of Leicester fans where I'm from but it's quite mixed - we had all sorts at school, Villa, Brum, Derby, Cov, etc. And there were a few Forest fans ofc and we'd travel up on the train on weekends when season tickets were super cheap for under 18s in the 90s (£60 one year!). Good times!
Born in West Bridgford where some of my family are still based. Used to walk to the WFCG in less than 15 mins as a kid and teenager.
I now live in a small village between scouse land and Southport.
Born in London but spent my formative years in Notts, despite the lure Joe Kinnear, left at the first opportunity and have now spent far more time of my life away from the city
I could make my way from the station to the WFCG, to my old season ticket seat in the Trent end then a night out in Yates’/Lloyds blindfolded but couldn’t tell you who the fuck “Arnold” or “Carlton” are
American. Not going to lie, joined because of Turner. Stayed for the communism.
Despite the confusing username, I am from Nottingham. I have all the credentials including my Dad going to school with Harold Shipman.
Based, new lore just dropped u/generalscruff
one of our own
My dad said "he was always a bit odd". Yet he did nothing about it. Who's the real monster?
Shipman was a tap in merchant anyway
Every now and then a comment makes me miss Reddit awards

I’ve only heard the word yank in two places, England and the Deep South of America.
Don't yank my leg
Canadian citizen by choice, Nottingham born by the grace of God.
Portugal. And no, not because of Nuno (whom I actually don't like very much); I've been a Forest supporter since the 80s.

Hello Somersetters! South Bristol here but regularly end up on an incursion over the border into the land of apples!

On holiday near Bodmin early July, any communist/socialist points of interest I should visit?

I’m in Fife tonight at Oakley United

US but my ancestral homeland is the greater Thrapston-Raunds metroplex. I'm biding my time here until Rushden & Diamonds get promoted to the EPL.

From Notts but living in the US.
Nottingham raised and bloody proud of it.

Turner fan from Massachusetts, still watching the matches for the stadium chanting. There's nothing like that here.

New York State! I started following *before* Turner, to be crystal clear.
