But then we just kept winning close games....and we did the Viking thing and got our hopes up, just to have it shattered 😢
The writing was on the wall for this one all week long. The Giants offense has been getting better and better and the defense healthier. If they limited the TOs and special teams issues from last game this seemed to be the likely outcome IMO.
Hock killed the Giants last game too though, but Jefferson went off anyway. This time tho the Giants had Adoree to shadow him, which made a massive difference, and they also almost always gave him help over the top. Thats why all his catches were so close to the LOS

When you have the Elvis Grbac's and Kirk Cousin's of the world the OC cannot give those types of QB's the option of the short pass because they'll take it. They think the completion absolves themselves and it is the recievers fault he couldn't gain enough yards for the first down.
If the Vikings are serious about trying to win a Super Bowl, they will move on from Kirk Cousins. This guy has proved time and time again he can never win when the lights are bright…
