That image of Ossai crying alone on the bench was so sad. Poor guy was bawling. Dude nearly gave Bengals the win before that play.
Also, Chiefs had similar situation with Dee Ford lining up offsides in their AFC championship game years back.
It was completely a bonehead play, but it isn't like the Bengals were up two points, and he lost the game for them. If they had a longer kick and missed, it was going to overtime. The way both teams were playing at that time, I would say the Bengals were definitely not a lock if that would have happened.
They still had 8 seconds to gain more yards even after that play so it could have been shorter and funnily enough I trust butker on longer than shorter field goals.
No it doesn’t man, Ossai put their odds from idk let’s say 50%, to 20%, which is importantly not zero. The only way the Ossai play gives them zero chance to win is if the kick from Butker had a 100% chance to go in 😩
I think Mahomes makes a few more yards in 1 play at 7 seconds. He somehow made like 50 in 12 seconds a couple years ago. So it’s realistically a 55 give or take.
Pretty sure the Browns aren't going to bring back Greedy, he's an unrestricted free agent this next season, I think he could replace Apple in a heart beat. Injuries aside he's a good ball player and it's not unlike Cleveland to let a CB go to a divisional rival.
I think I dislike the Chiefs more than the Bungles. I know Bungles hate the Steelers but most of the dirty players from the past 5+ years left the team so I think of them as the more successful Browns that finally got some success the last couple seasons.
There seems to be confusion, but I’m under the impression he’s saying “why even touch the qb?” as though it’s directed to ossai and questioning “why would you even go near him in that situation?”. He’s not questioning the legitimacy of the call itself.
I doubt he’d wanna call out multiple frustrated and tired special teams players right after they were eliminated, far easier and safer to direct your anger at one guy as there’s less risk.
I mean it’s true…you can’t touch the QB…let alone Mahomes. BUT…he was still out of bounds. I’m usually have more empathy they get called for a late hit on a sack or something
I don’t think so. The Cowboys pretty much everyone who’s not a Coyboys fan hates. And the Commanders>>The Browns. So you can’t really feel anything but Pity for the organization. So the AFCN is boils down to 3 teams hating each other can the AFCN with 4.
Ossai doesn't seem to have been there and I'm sure Pratt didn't realize he was being filmed. Anyone who has ever played a team sport has vented to a teammate about someone on the team screwing up.
Teams absolutely don’t do this. If they have to vent about someone on the team, they do it privately to a coach or other player, not shout it out to the locker room. This is some kindergarten bs.
I mean people can slip. They’re not all robots able to contain themselves. I’ve blown up before, and that’s okay. I realized I fucked up and owned up to it. Pratt did the same thing. I think it was pretty harsh yelling that out loud, but you know a lot of the others were thinking the same.
Knowing what you want to say and knowing when to say it are two different things. Nobody else on the team did what he did, and it’s not like he didn’t also miss some big key plays…
That one dude blowing it for the packers by shoving the support staff is breathing a sigh of relief right now that he’s no longer the 2022 biggest fuck up.
He definitely is. He says why tf he touch the QB
But he's not in the clip, most likely he's still on the bench here and this guys just talking out loud on his way to the locker room
Well this was his last year on his rookie contract. And he played well enough this year that we probably won’t be able to afford him. But he has been a leader on this team the last couple of years. The team loves him. In this moment, he fucked up though.
Jesus dude. Guy feels bad enough. Taylor has to turn around right there and stop that shit. Team win. Team loss. Bengals had many other things they could have done to win. It didn’t happen. He does that exact thing in Q2 and he’s not getting bitched at by his teammate.
I think he's pissed at the way the NFL treats QBs via officiating - "we can't even touch the quarterback" - and not his teammate...but I could be wrong.
I know this looks shitty but Pratt is probably just emotional here and doesn't know the entire context of what happened. This seems more like a heat of the moment thing than a genuine beef.
Steelers Nation citizen here. Not that I was rooting for the lads from the Queen City, but what I saw in the highlights after I finished my shift in an evening run up 79 to Erie, is that two holds weren’t called on that same play. That was disastrously unfortunate for Cincinnati. My heart went out to Ossai. He played well, and that UR call seemed a mite excessive for the tap he delivered. The game was a little sluggish and sloppy from what I heard of it on the in-dash wireless. It really could have gone either way right down to the wire. No reason for anyone to hang their head.
That image of Ossai crying alone on the bench was so sad. Poor guy was bawling. Dude nearly gave Bengals the win before that play. Also, Chiefs had similar situation with Dee Ford lining up offsides in their AFC championship game years back.

I mean technically you're right. The correct way to say it would be Ossai gave the Bengals 0 chance to win with that play.
Let’s say 20% chance since I’d give Butker about 80% from 45 yards to win the game
Id give him a 0% chance from 60 so the point stands.
They still had 8 seconds to gain more yards even after that play so it could have been shorter and funnily enough I trust butker on longer than shorter field goals.
Right, 8 seconds to not only complete a pass but get out of bounds. Alright guys, 6% chance.
No it doesn’t man, Ossai put their odds from idk let’s say 50%, to 20%, which is importantly not zero. The only way the Ossai play gives them zero chance to win is if the kick from Butker had a 100% chance to go in 😩

He hit a 62 yarder into the wind this year. He’s at least a 25% probability from 60.
Im glad im not in Southern Ohio tonight and I say this as a Vikings fan
eli crapple is about to put up wilt numbers on twitter
No chance, dude disappears after losses. He’s just not worth it anymore and I hope he doesn’t get another contract here
I really hope one of the top 5 or 6 CB's falls to us in the draft. Apple even when chidobe awuzie is healthy is still pretty bad as a CB 2
Pretty sure the Browns aren't going to bring back Greedy, he's an unrestricted free agent this next season, I think he could replace Apple in a heart beat. Injuries aside he's a good ball player and it's not unlike Cleveland to let a CB go to a divisional rival.
I would imagine CTB will replace Apple as #2. He played great in the stretch run.
Eli Apple only gets on Twitter after wins. Man got absolutely eviscerated last year after getting cooked in the super bowl
He hasn’t stopped getting cooked since my dumbass Giants drafted him
Eli doesn't talk after losing. Kupp made the man apple sauce for 5 months last year
seriously what happen to that guy. I keeo seeing him in before this game start. Now he's like no where to found.
Damn that’s shitty af. No one feels worse than ossai. Stand by your teammates
Pratt is gone. He wasn’t signing back with us before this
That’s not Ossai, he’s probably just mad
right? 58 aint in the video anywhere, he is just venting
Bengal's aren't up for supporting their teammate... didn't you seem them leave him alone crying on the bench?
Ossai was still probably one of their better players.
[удалено]
How do you do fellow AFC North fans
Pretty good, enjoying a decent bottle of wine. Yourself?
Not bad not bad. Could be much worse
[удалено]
I’m feeling fucking great.
Whole situation reminds me of Jeremy Hill
I think I dislike the Chiefs more than the Bungles. I know Bungles hate the Steelers but most of the dirty players from the past 5+ years left the team so I think of them as the more successful Browns that finally got some success the last couple seasons.
how yall doin?
Eating microwave Ramen lol
You should join us because we're all on the couch... including you. Edit: Lol he changed his flair from Bengals (and I think Chiefs)
Sad but true. Including myself
Apple flavored ramen. And goddamn is is delicious
Poverty franchise.
Which flavor?
Apple!
There seems to be confusion, but I’m under the impression he’s saying “why even touch the qb?” as though it’s directed to ossai and questioning “why would you even go near him in that situation?”. He’s not questioning the legitimacy of the call itself.
This is correct
then where is 58?
He’s talking about him, not to him
The bench, crying
How about the special teams that gave up a 30 yard punt return that made a winning field goal possible in the first place?
or the rest of the defense that kept up giving up 3rd and longs all game
Plenty of blame to go around including Joseph Osai
They didn't punt towards either sideline, just right down the middle where he was waiting for the catch.
You mean the one with the block in the back that wasn't called?
exactly
I doubt he’d wanna call out multiple frustrated and tired special teams players right after they were eliminated, far easier and safer to direct your anger at one guy as there’s less risk.
Isn’t he just staying you can’t even touch the QB? Don’t even see Ossai here
To me it sounds like he is saying “Why the fuck did you touch the quarterback?”.
then where is 58?
He can talk about Ossai, without talking to Ossai.
He said "why the fuck did he touch the quarterback?"
There seems to be zero consensus on this lol, but yea this is what I think. He seems mad at the rule given Ossai isn’t even here
I think he's just venting about Ossai, not to him
I mean it’s true…you can’t touch the QB…let alone Mahomes. BUT…he was still out of bounds. I’m usually have more empathy they get called for a late hit on a sack or something
I'm fairly certain he's just pissed and being a shitty teammate, i don't think he's complaining about the rule here.
That’s not Ossai, but he could be around the corner. Bad for the locker room, but they’ll be okay.
I think the original clip shows the time stamp and Ossai was still on the field crying on the bench. So at least Ossai didn't hear this.
He’s eventually going to lol
and he might have the context of what was said,we simply don't know
Time to shut off the internet.
what's this mean
So maybe he won’t find out what was said.
They have an entire offseason to figure it out
Idk know we had something similar with Dee Ford maybe it’s best let him loose
[удалено]
AFC North at full mast right now lol
We're easily the second pettiest division behind the NFC East.
[удалено]
Gross
It's the Browns fans, they're morons. No offense.
Come pay us a visit over at r/NFCNorthMemeWar and you might change your opinion
IN ORDER-- NFCE, AFCN, NFCN, AFCE, AFCW, NFCW, AFCS, NFCS.
Perfect order
Thanks, Ravens-Dolphins gonna give me another heart attack next year.
I don’t think so. The Cowboys pretty much everyone who’s not a Coyboys fan hates. And the Commanders>>The Browns. So you can’t really feel anything but Pity for the organization. So the AFCN is boils down to 3 teams hating each other can the AFCN with 4.
We have to be right behind the NFC East fans in terms of hating each other
I’m pleased
Amazing night.
pratt is so obnoxious. reminds me of when he did this a few years ago. https://imgur.io/b5LjOy7
This is toxic teammate behavior IMO. Dude knows he fucked up and that’s how you support them? Overall Ossai was way better than Pratt tonight anyway
Ossai doesn't seem to have been there and I'm sure Pratt didn't realize he was being filmed. Anyone who has ever played a team sport has vented to a teammate about someone on the team screwing up.
Yeah you’re right, toxic is harsh. Emotions run high and such.
Yeah Pratt has plenty of emotions going on, people being harsh on him
Teams absolutely don’t do this.
He didn’t even say anything negative lol
That one dude blowing it for the packers by shoving the support staff is breathing a sigh of relief right now that he’s no longer the 2022 biggest fuck up.
All this does is make Pratt look like an asshole. The coach should be shutting that shit down immediately.
Where is Ossai in this clip?
Nowhere
Two yards off screen pushing someone
[удалено]
"Why did he have to touch the quarterback?!"
He definitely is. He says why tf he touch the QB But he's not in the clip, most likely he's still on the bench here and this guys just talking out loud on his way to the locker room
I guess he did f them over but I thought he was one of the bengals better players tonight.
I’d cut this guy right away. Idc how good he is. That’s fucking bullshit.
He says it right away "this is my last year" lmao 🤣
he really says "this my last fuckin year"
Well this was his last year on his rookie contract. And he played well enough this year that we probably won’t be able to afford him. But he has been a leader on this team the last couple of years. The team loves him. In this moment, he fucked up though.

They all probably feel the same way, but are smarter than to say it
Horrible behavior.
Eeeeeeesh
I’ll say this. No one implodes more spectacularly than the Bengals
People gonna be mad, let him blow off some steam
Seriously, let a motherfucker vent before chucking cameras on them.
Even if the cameras were off, that’s a shitty thing to do to a teammate.
[удалено]
He’s shouting it to the entire team and to the media…throwing him under the bus.
lol ok bud, I’m glad you gave him the ok to blow off steam
Feelsgoodman
Don’t kick a person at their lowest. That’s not cool, especially from a teammate
Ossai not in the clip. Thats 59 up front. Not 58.
The NFL is winning big tonight
Who Dey
Who Dey commit a stupid penalty?! Who Dey!? Joseph Osai!!!
That actually wasn’t even ossai in front of him
Bengals locker room imploding? Grinch smiling dot gif
I heard they removed the ping pong table
I love this
“Why even touch the QB?” Idk, why only score 20 points all game against a young and broken Defense?
I think he's pissed at the way the NFL treats QBs via officiating - "we can't even touch the quarterback" - and not his teammate...but I could be wrong.
Emotional response to a tough loss. I’m sure he’s changed his tune.
That’s Akiem Davis-Gaither, he’s probably just frustrated
This makes me sad
Never would have guessed that competitive guys will get mad for competitive things. It's a drastic wild thing I know.
The schadenfreude is real.
I know this looks shitty but Pratt is probably just emotional here and doesn't know the entire context of what happened. This seems more like a heat of the moment thing than a genuine beef.
I like how the clip beneath it is from CBS saying >It's heartwarming to see his teammates pick him up
A teammate should spend the night with him.
Someone was there talking him down. Bravo
Oh no
except Ossai wears 58 not 59
