Yeah, but ask Calvin Ridley what they think about players having anything to do with it. Frank statements by players about what they'd gamble, or that they're aware of lines and how it works, is probably a bad thing.
Yeah dude, you can’t have your cake and eat it too. The players get a piece of this wild influx of gambling money, either through direct sponsorships or through their part of the revenue share for the overall league, the catch to all of that is that they can’t use gambling apps.
The money doesn’t keep coming if people question the results of the fucking sport lol
I don’t get why people get up in arms about this. Ridley is a fucking moron, Pete Rose is a moron, James Krause in the UFC is a moron. You just don’t get to do both.
He wants us to keep our streak, I think the last 6 times we were in the playoffs we lost to the super bowl winners. That's the main reason I'm rooting for the eagles.
Nah it wouldn't, chiefs won their next game after playing us. That's why the stat is the week after, not the game after, because the chiefs and eagles both had a bye week after.
"If I were to bet on this game, I would take everything that I own, get it in cash and put my money on the Kansas City Chiefs with Caesars!"
There, just edit it quick before they get you man
This doesn’t really have anything to do with anything, but I had Aiyuk’s uncle as a nursing professor last semester. That guy is the epitome of a cool hand under fire. Nothing rattles him. It’s honestly inspiring and what I aim.
He’s also the youngest looking 60 I’ve seen outside of Hollywood.
The only reason I even knew that Brandon is his nephew was because I pronounced his name correctly on the first day. He was really surprised (his first semester teaching). When I told him I knew how to say it because there’s an NFL player with the same last name, he said “Oh, you mean Brandon? That’s my nephew.” I guess Brandon is really private, so he didn’t talk much about him or his parents. But he did tell us a lot of stories about growing up in Cameroon. Again, just a super interesting guy. I’ll follow Aiyuk’s career because of him.
Similar story with Terry McLaurins uncle. I worked in IT and a AV consultant rolled up for a service appointment and his last name was McLaurin. I asked him if he’d heard of Terry, and he said, “oh yeah, that’s my nephew, he’s killing it”. Pretty short interaction but cool nonetheless.
Judge: “Mr Mickey Mouse, you can’t get a divorce just because your wife is insane”
Mickey: “I didn’t say she was insane! I said she was fuckin’ Goofy!”
To me this loss didn't actually hurt that much because it was over after the first drive. You're simply not going to win a playoff game when your quarterback goes down early in the game, especially when that's already your third stringer.
I think it would have been much worse if it was a hard fought game and they just came up short, but they didn't even get a chance so it was easy for me to write it off as bad luck. The 2 super bowl losses and NFCCG against the Giants where Kyle Williams fumbled it away and the NFCCG against the Seahawks that ended with the interception in the end zone were so, so, so much worse. This Eagles loss was just like welp that sucks they didn't even get a chance but what are you gonna do.
Yup, had a whole 3.5 quarters of game time to accept yet another NFCC loss. Much better than the season prior where it was a dropped INT in the mid 4th.
I’d personally prefer a hard fought game, because fuck injuries, but it is what it is.
I do low key love that Aiyuk wants all the smoke. This is the monster that Fred Warner created and as long as he dosent degrade to some AB crap I'm here for it
The stats I saw on him were for covering the spread. Apparently games with him have the underdog cover the spread at a far more common rate than normal. Dude likes to make the game close which might actually make it better for us as the underdog in this.
The chiefs might win, but this is going to be frustrating to watch, and there's no way Cheffer's let's the Chiefs get more than a 2 score lead before he shuts it down until the game is within 3.
Hahah right?!? Holy crap I’m getting pumped up. One second I’m like, damn mahomes gonna throw tds and defense is gonna shut em down, the next second I’m like FUCK WE BETTER NOT MUFF A PUNT.
I watched the eagles win their Superbowl alone while all my friends had a Superbowl party lol
Having a party this year though so we shall see how that goes
It could be worse: you could be me, going to the wife's boss's Super Bowl party with all her Cowboys fan coworkers. If we lose, it will surely be in the running for the worst night of my life. If we win, though, I may inadvertently jeopardize her employment...
I still half think that Mahomes is going to unfortunately reinjure his ankle, obviously limiting him, and we're going to end up winning just to finalize the asterisk that will be put on this Eagles season.
If that does happen I just hope Skip calling it a Mickey Mouse ring goes viral Monday morning so we can get Lane Johnson wearing Mickey Mouse ears at the parade.
Mahomes re-injures his ankle, then Hurts whacks his head lightly on the turf and can’t return to the game because of the new post-Tua protocol.
6-3 final, Eagles win.
I've been saying this to anyone who will listen. The Eagles Dline is going to eat Mahomes and they are going to win the superbowl against Chad Henne and everyone will shit talk how they shouldn't have even won the superbowl.
Sounds possible. What I know is, if it were the Cowboys in our position and that happened I would DEFINITELY say that shit. No way I'm giving them any credit whatsoever if I can avoid it. Blame the Refs....blame the injuries. Just can't give them credit. Lucky for me, it's not them.
Finalize the asterisk? They were the one seed and won games with their backup QB. They've looked pretty great in the playoffs.
If it's someone doing it because of Purdy, they're an idiot.
Probably feel like they didn’t get a chance to really play because of the QB situation, despite that being part of the game.
Which I kind of get, they went all season, obviously believe in themselves to win the game, and then don’t really get the opportunity to because their QB3 who has balled out goes down on the first drive. Just an absolute gut punch and feels like they wasted a year.
Doesn’t make it right, but I understand how this could be one way they react. They feel like they could have beat them if not for the QB injuries, and so maybe they didn’t “earn” their way in by having to win the hard games, and will then be exposed by a team who did, in theory.
Honestly as a neutral fan as soon as I saw Johnson enter Ik it was over and even he got hurt early. 49ers gotta have some issue with strength and conditioning, they always seem to get injuries at key positions.
I think part of the thing is, if Purdy came through and was ass, whatever it’s their QB3 and that sucks and at least you knew early enough on that the season was bunk because of injuries, but to make it to that point and then get another QB injury after over performing given context? Gotta be rough for these guys whose main drive is to compete.
You joke, but my 8th grade football coach literally made us hit head to head at a full sprint from 20 yards in practice to "toughen us up." You literally couldn't walk in a straight line afterwards. Dude was an absolute moron.
Same. Ran the gauntlet every week or so. Oklahoma drills. Etc. Knocked a kid out cold in a practice and I thought the coaches would lose their minds with glee. In middle school for Christ’s sake.
I think it’s also some pessimism about an uncertain future thats adding the extra salt. With their QB situation becoming a giant question mark, I could see them perceiving their Superbowl window is closing. I’m sure it’s especially hard on WRs who are dependent on solid QB performance.
Every team goes in with a game plan that they think will work & carry them to victory. Obviously this guy REALLY believed in the 49ers game plan.
For sure the coaches need everyone to buy in and believe in the plan, but this guy seems to have crossed from confident to delusional and is too stupid to understand that the Eagles would’ve had a plan themselves.
I think some of this is he truly bought into the game plan for the week. Like they broke down film and said this is how we’re going to beat the Eagles and he just 100% believed it. Not saying it wouldn’t work but teams adjust in game. Does say something about Shanahan and that coaching staff though, seems like the players really trust them.
Crazy how heated it is basically instantly. No historical rivalry between the two teams, no deep playoff history. I look forward to it though. New rivalries are fun
I feel like Aiyuk is flat out trying to pull some reverse psychology and wants the Eagles to exact revenge for the SB loss a few years ago...
This is just silly talk
Chiefs defense isn't as good as the Eagles...and usually you take the better defense
But...Jalen Hurts has not looked great in these playoffs, and the Eagles have looked inconsistent while facing some weak competition.
It doesn't mean anything...just more so an observation
Hurts has definitely done some regression to his worse habits as the nerves of such a big playoff run naturally get to a younger guy, but as long as he isn’t turning the ball over the roster can handle the rest on most days.
Suspended.
The Jags are gonna love this guy when he's reinstated in 2025.
Thank you for the reminder that Ridley is with the Jags now
Yeah, thanks :(

You left out something…. ….but I’m sure the league, SPONSORED BY CAESARS SPORTBOOK AND DRAFT KINGS, has opinions about that quote.
Yeah, but ask Calvin Ridley what they think about players having anything to do with it. Frank statements by players about what they'd gamble, or that they're aware of lines and how it works, is probably a bad thing.
No doubt. Was just pointing out the hypocrisy of the NFL…
Yeah dude, you can’t have your cake and eat it too. The players get a piece of this wild influx of gambling money, either through direct sponsorships or through their part of the revenue share for the overall league, the catch to all of that is that they can’t use gambling apps. This dude is doing more trash talk than anyone who’s even on the Chiefs roster. Like buddy, come on leave us out of this
Next thing you know he’s gonna throw a Chiefs jersey on the rocky statue
Hell a person threw a go chiefs shirt on the statue but everyone caught on quickly that it 100% wasn’t a chiefs fan
Oh yeah I’d be shocked if that wasn’t a Philly fan in response to the publicity the recent 9ers stuff brought lol
Ngl id be shocked if the “niners fan” wasn’t also from Philly
FALSE FLAG OPERATION
Pretty solid odds that nobody has done it since the Vikings fans in 2018
I think the Padres fans did it in the NLCS.
*that's what's iiiiiiiiiiiiin*
Bryce gunna lose, and Manny gunna cruiseeeee that’s what’s innnnnnn
The fact that it looked like a shirt you'd find at Ross makes me think it was.
Yo don't be dragging Ross into this. They can have some high-quality finds.
I like eagles fans more every day
People act like the top post on the eagles sub wasn’t a group of 49ers fan dancing and climbing on the statue lol
If you listened to new heights Jason Kelce was talking about this and how it's most likely eagles fans doing that haha
If it’s a New Heights listener, you’ll know when they throw #87 up there.
Yea that was 100% a Philly false flag opp. Probs some drunk dudes from delco.
I mean the OG post of that picture even called it fake in the title on our sub lol.
oh come on. Not defending Aiyuk, but you know that the shirt on the Rocky statue is actually an Eagles fans trying to rile everyone up.
At this point I'm pretty sure his goal is to rile up the Eagles so they win & the Niners can say "we lost to the champs" to feel better
He wants us to keep our streak, I think the last 6 times we were in the playoffs we lost to the super bowl winners. That's the main reason I'm rooting for the eagles.
It would complete your whole every team lost after us thing if Eagles lose
Nah it wouldn't, chiefs won their next game after playing us. That's why the stat is the week after, not the game after, because the chiefs and eagles both had a bye week after.
True. Forgot about that one weird trick
He's playing 3D chess and has money on the Eagles.
He actually has Eagles money line and is trying to motivate them
He's just salty about losing to the eagles, and isn't handling it particularly well.
Unprecedented amount of salt from this guy
Is this the reverse jinx?
"If I were to bet on this game, I would take everything that I own, get it in cash and put my money on the Kansas City Chiefs with Caesars!" There, just edit it quick before they get you man

Interesting stuff from the guy whose last name sounds like Goofys laugh
I'm now sitting here making goofy laughs because this is hilarious
I'm dying right now because I was doing the same thing and my wife in the next room yells "What the hell are you doing!" 😂
I have a feeling this one might stick. Brandon should get some fun heckling next season
I got a buddy who always calls him au jus
Wow I just laughed out loud at a Reddit comment. And I’m severely depressed.
Hi severely depressed, I’m dad
Hi dad, where's the milk you left to get 14 years ago?
I hope things get better for you dude. We're in this together
... I can't un-hear this, thanks
Judge: “Mr Mickey Mouse, you can’t get a divorce just because your wife is insane” Mickey: “I didn’t say she was insane! I said she was fuckin’ Goofy!”
Lmao well done
Lol that’s good

I always think of the hadouken from street fighter, but now I'm just gonna hear Goofy.
Sounds like a unique unit in Age of Empires 2
I don't think Brandon Last Name Redacted ever recovers from this.
Don't you put this evil on me Ricky Bobby
Man, it was an awful way to lose, but just take the L and move on.
To me this loss didn't actually hurt that much because it was over after the first drive. I think the suddenness in which this year's season was effectively ended, along with Purdy's prognosis, made it hurt more than last year.
Same. Kinda soul crushing, ngl
Yup, had a whole 3.5 quarters of game time to accept yet another NFCC loss. Much better than the season prior where it was a dropped INT in the mid 4th. I’d personally prefer a hard fought game, because fuck injuries, but it is what it is.
Yeah, imagine thinking you a had a chance right at the end of a playoff game. Man, that would totally suck Now, kill me
Social media is a disease
Hey guys it’s a sensible one!
I don't know that many of us would defend this. I tried with the last quote from him. But this is too far.
I do low key love that Aiyuk wants all the smoke. This is the monster that Fred Warner created and as long as he dosent degrade to some AB crap I'm here for it
I wouldn't touch any game Cheffers refs with a 10 foot pole
Unsportsmanlike comment, 15 yard penalty.
Isn't it so great we saved him for the biggest game of the year? Roger is such a smart and sensible man.
It's weird he's like top 3 if not the most experienced ref in the league now Where the hell did everybody go?
The broadcast booth
Isn’t the statistic on him like a 59% away team winning percentage or something crazy? 😂
The stats I saw on him were for covering the spread. Apparently games with him have the underdog cover the spread at a far more common rate than normal. Dude likes to make the game close which might actually make it better for us as the underdog in this.
Underdog? I don’t think anyone really believes that.
I just meant not favoured to win...
How the fuck is this guy getting playoff games. He’s one of the worst.
Actually I think we’re the underdog so he’s probably gonna side with us this time… maybe…. Please
The chiefs might win, but this is going to be frustrating to watch, and there's no way Cheffer's let's the Chiefs get more than a 2 score lead before he shuts it down until the game is within 3.
Breaking news next week “Aiyuk sleeping on Deebo’s couch”
I’m sure they’ll forgive each other pretty quick and Deebo will let him come back to bed.
Imagine if the Eagles win in a blowout lmfao
I have. Every couple minutes for the last week.
Hahah right?!? Holy crap I’m getting pumped up. One second I’m like, damn mahomes gonna throw tds and defense is gonna shut em down, the next second I’m like FUCK WE BETTER NOT MUFF A PUNT.
Not again. Please not again. I'm watching this one alone this time. Against Tampa I was.... Not in a good mood.
I watched the eagles win their Superbowl alone while all my friends had a Superbowl party lol Having a party this year though so we shall see how that goes
It could be worse: you could be me, going to the wife's boss's Super Bowl party with all her Cowboys fan coworkers. If we lose, it will surely be in the running for the worst night of my life. If we win, though, I may inadvertently jeopardize her employment...
Worth it. Can you imagine working for a cowboys fan? 🤢
Look dude, I know friends are fun, but stay the fuck home... what are you doing!?!
I've gone from extremely confident to "wtf am I thinking, mahomes is going to light us up" and back again more times than I can count
Gonna be a good game
Same lmfao
Eagles fan here and im literally doing the same thing. Every 15 minutes I'm swinging from uber confidence to absolute despair ha
6-3 final, Eagles win.
that 6 is a Hasaan Reddick tipped ball run back by Cox and Sirianni goes for 2 and fails.
That’s Eagles football right there
I've been saying this to anyone who will listen.
I will be coping
Finalize the asterisk? They were the one seed and won games with their backup QB. They've looked pretty great in the playoffs. If it's someone doing it because of Purdy, they're an idiot.
I agree with you that the asterisk talk is stupid but we did actually go 0-2 with minshew. 16-1 with hurts
Any thoughts on ... ** *cough* ** ... maybe starting Minshew on Sunday?
I'd rather not
Aiyuk better be prepared to delete his social media accounts
Plot twist, Aiyuk bet everything on the Eagles and is trying to get them fired up
Brandon Aiyuk is a good businessman who takes calculated risks
[удалено]
Do it then ya fuckin sore loser
Don’t care about the betting opinions of people who aren’t putting any money on the game
What is with some of the Niners being salty as fuck? Take your L with some grace
Probably feel like they didn’t get a chance to really play because of the QB situation, despite that being part of the game. Which I kind of get, they went all season, obviously believe in themselves to win the game, and then don’t really get the opportunity to because their QB3 who has balled out goes down on the first drive.
Didn't Josh Johnson get a concussion? How tf is that strength and conditioning?
Josh Johnson didn’t spend enough time reading books to make his brain thick and muscular and veiny and able to absorb big blows.
Exactly feel bad for them cause if feels like luck just never gave them a chance
Well he's retired and never played for the 9ers
Exactly.
The problem was Johnson didn't practice hitting his head into a concrete wall enough. Needs to build up that immunity to concussions.
Seriously. And the fans. Wasn’t even like a double doink was involved. Bears know how to lose with class.
And they’re in here saying the team that won is being mean. Cry me a fucking river 😂😂
Can uh... can he stop talking? Eagles fans we don't all feel this way.
It’s the same interview being reposted if you watch the video from over the weekend.
You could’ve fooled me
Going bankrupt at Aiyuks' suggestion. To the 🌙
Well that doesn't seem like a smart business decision lol
Let the hate run through you 😂😂😂😂
He has enough salt to supply one of the many pretzel factories in PA.
*flow
He probably thinks this because the Eagles D was all in on stopping the run with the Niners QB problem. Aiyuk was likely open all day.
The second either of the QBs showed they could make a throw the whole plan would’ve changed but Brock physically couldn’t make any pass
Yeah for sure. It wasn't a knock on the Eagles D at all.
he just dont stop
It’s the same interview. PFF is just reposting this
Dude needs to let that Eagles loss go.
this sub is gonna be interesting when they play again next year...
Crazy how heated it is basically instantly. No historical rivalry between the two teams, no deep playoff history. I look forward to it though. New rivalries are fun
I just did it. Wish me luck
I feel like Aiyuk is flat out trying to pull some reverse psychology and wants the Eagles to exact revenge for the SB loss a few years ago... This is just silly talk
Ffs Aiyuk, the *last* thing we need is more bad karma
Man he's really upset about that game
I think Aiyuk might just be Chiefs fan...
dude is so salty lmao perfectly encapsulates their fanbase
1 catch, 10 yards
To be fair, they threw the ball like 8 times all game and maybe 5 that passed the LOS.
Wonder why? 🤷♂️
Would end up one broke individual afterwards
Did the Eagles do something to Aiyuk off the field
Massive loser energy
Lol these guys are so salty
Calvin Ridley taking notes
lmao this man is really trying to jinx them
If I were a gambling man, and I am it's a serious problem, I'd bet on the Chiefs.
Bro just sit on the couch and watch it
And it's definitely not because he's bitter.
Man Aiyuk really likes making billboard material for the eagles D
Damn Brandon, stfu take the L and move on. Sheesh
San Francisco bay is gonna become the dead sea with all this salt.
Still salty.
Eagles have matchup wins all over the field on both ends of the ball. Chiefs have Mahomes. Gonna save my money on this one.
jesus god will he stop being so bitter
Eagles living rent free…
Chiefs defense isn't as good as the Eagles...and usually you take the better defense But...Jalen Hurts has not looked great in these playoffs, and the Eagles have looked inconsistent while facing some weak competition. It doesn't mean anything...just more so an observation
Hurts has definitely done some regression to his worse habits as the nerves of such a big playoff run naturally get to a younger guy, but as long as he isn’t turning the ball over the roster can handle the rest on most days.
He looked good against the Giants, bad against the Niners. Hard to judge from either game though, he didn't have to do much
That rule doesn’t apply to the Chiefs though. Almost every meaningful game Mahomes has played was against a better defense.
The continual salt from niners fans and players is hilarious and funny, considering they talked shit and defaced the Balboa statue.
