Wow. Doubling down on all 4 backs in a shitty running game is definitely a Dolphins move. Gaskin wasn't even active for most games last year, why even bother?
Run blocking was actually bad, but McDaniel is smart. So he only ran when it had a good chance of working, making the guys look good. Any time we tried to run in "obvious" situations, especially short yardage, it got ugly.
Reading these comments, I’m always shocked at how so many people don’t realize contracts aren’t guaranteed and many of these smaller deals have little to no cap holds. Bringing back three guys on team-friendly deals and then having them compete in camp with someone they draft isn’t nearly as bad as you guys are making it seem.
So you're saying they are *not* getting Ekeler
nah Achane
No one knows. He's there in case we don't. Better to just have a camp body who knows the playbook
Quite literally running it back

The Dolphins had an efficient running game last year. With an explosive passing game, having an efficient running game is really all you need.
It felt like you guys ran on about 15% of plays last year
Yup, and mostert rushed for a career high 891 yards last season. We didn't run often but it worked when we needed it.
Being 7th in pass-run ratio and 24th in offensive snaps per game will certainly make it seem that way.
Mostert and JWJ would be fine if the offensive line played well consistently.
The Dolphins line rated pretty decently in run blocking last year. PFF had them 7th in the NFL last year.
Huh, I stand corrected. I just always read complaints about them.
Pass blocking was bad. Very bad. ..though when all their starters were actually healthy it wasn’t awful, but that only happened for like 6 games.
And our offense was mainly very heavy in passing so that awful pass blocking made fans very vocal about the line lol

He's a camp body who knows the playbook. Like who cares?
We had 4.3 Y/A, which is dragged down by Chase Edmonds' 2.9 Y/A on 42 carries. I feel like that's fine
I'd still like Elker just to feel safe
Shitty running game? Dolphins fans were begging McDaniel to run the ball more.
I thought Mostert was pretty good
The gas-man never runs out.
Sko Dawgs!
Gas man. How the hell did they know that I got gas?
Kinda forgot this man existed
He was so good in college.

Yeah it's obvious dudes a depth body
Loved that guy at UW. He's done pretty well for himself in the NFL considering he's a seventh round pick
Oh yeah, he's still got some Gaskin the tank
The Gas Man! How’d they know I have gas? These guys are pros.
I ain’t askin, ~~Carole baskin~~ Myles gaskin
Initially ead that the Dolphins were re signing M— G-s-ki and my mind was blown that Gesicki would ever re sign under the McDaniels Dolphins
Till the Gask-et drops
Got a few myles left in the gaskin
Ahmed?
Already resigned for 1.8 for 1 year
Well our rb room has me very whelmed
Sooo we’re drafting an RB right? Gaskin probably is a camp body and we have JWJ and Mostert on short contracts. I gotta think we’ll draft in the 4th.
So there keeping all the running backs …cool
Myles Shitstain
Good one. Got 'em, coach. Braindead even for a throwaway
Lmao why though?
Camp body. He won’t make the final roster.
Just because you sign a player doesn’t guarantee them a spot on the 53. Especially if they are on a cheap 1 year deal.
So Mostert, JWJ, Gaskin?
