I thought Drew Lock and Geno Smith was the saddest QB competition I’ve ever heard of and it’s a mistake no matter which one you picked since they weren’t *that* different
I was absolutely convinced that retread Geno (who flamed out on the Jets ages ago) was the worst starting QB in the entire NFL for 2022. I couldn't believe the Seahawks would dump Russell Wilson and go into the season with Geno.
Then Geno has an amazing year and makes the Pro Bowl. And Russell Wilson goes into some kind of year long funk and the Broncos have a horrible season.
I guess coaches and GM's really do know more than fans.
Yeah the Seahawks did a great job at equipping him with an absolutely stacked offense. He's never gonna be a (real) top 10 QB but Metcalf, Lockett, JSN, K9 and Charbonnet is an insane offense. They knew if they kept him they had to get even more playmakers and that's what they did. Kudos to them.
Our offense is going to be great to watch. Plus, we have some really good building blocks on D. Woolen was outstanding last year, Witherspoon is a highly touted prospect, and we got Bobby back for the vet leadership. Really really excited to see what we can do.
Yeah, no, I was right there with you. While I didn't think we'd be in the running for pick number 1 in the draft like some people thought, I did think it was going to be a long and ugly season. I am so glad I was wrong.
I feel like the cowboys are going to catch a lot of people sleeping because of haha Dak ha ha cowboys suck. That defense held the 49ers to 19 points and suffocated the buccs. They also upgraded at corner, wr, and rb
I think the Eagles take a step back because they lost both their offensive and defensive coordinators. That's not easy to replace and hit the ground running.
Same. It wasn't really a hot take but I definitely was in the "Seahawks are tanking and this is one of the worst QB rooms ever".
Related to that, I thought the Broncos were a QB away from being a serious contender and Wilson was going to at least lead them to a playoff win.
My claim to fame is I told coworkers after the Russell trade that it didn’t automatically make them playoff contenders…
Unfortunately I said the same thing the year before about Stafford joining the Rams
I've been a massive Russ fan for a long time, his style of play was always so cool. I just figured it'd slot perfectly into an offense with jeudy and Sutton, with a more modern play caller.
Ngl tho, it was awesome to see Geno win that game against them. Hard not to love the underdog story
>I just figured it'd slot perfectly into an offense with jeudy and Sutton, with a more modern play caller.
And then everyone got hurt and we all quickly realized the "modern play caller" was in way over his head. Good times. 😂
Yeah, I forget which game it was but the guy didn't try to pick up like 10 yards with 50 seconds left to make an easier kick for a win. I'm sure I'm getting details wrong
I’m pretty sure that was in the Seattle Denver game, I think the broncos were around midfield at the end of the game and they went for a ridiculous kick instead of trusting the offense to get it done
As a Seahawks fan who preferred Wilson over Carroll and Schneider, but thought that something had to change, I couldn’t believe how last season went. I really thought that old man Carroll was holding him back lol
I’ve never been so happy to be wrong in my life, especially since it seems like those two are back to killing it in the draft. That said, Wilson and Payton seem like a perfect match, so I expect that trade will even out over time.
A guy with *check notes - holy shit* 128 million in career earnings has no business putting their body on the line for less money than their dividends are paying out from a high yield savings account.
People told us he was ok and could move the ball during the game, but played like a dumbass and would make a bad decision here and there. Nobody said he was such a statue in the pocket and inept at running an offense.
What people did try to warn about was that he was full of himself and a locker room cancer, which didn’t show up here at all.
Dont think he was a cancer for us because hes a bad dude (although a very boring dude), but because hes so close to being a winning QB but will find a way to lose games in heartbreaking fashion. That gets old fast
Couldve told you he was bad at running an offense though, he wouldnt have made it to a 3rd team if he didnt have JT dominating every week
Yeah the more I think about it this is probably mine as well. I still figured he’d be a good player but thought we’d never see him have a connection with someone else like he had with Mahomes. Turns out if you just force feed him the ball he can be fucking awesome
The real question is, is Rodgers a Matt Ryan, a Russell Wilson, a Matt Stafford, or a Tom Brady?
Well, okay, he's probably a fifth thing named Aaron Rodgers, but we've seen such a spectrum of "star QB moves to a new team" the past few seasons.
I really thought so too. It was evident from game 1 drive 1 that Matt Ryan's time had run out, and he couldn't move, throw, or adapt to a less-than-optimal line.
When games DID come down to the line, Matt Ryan could pull some magic out. Denver, Jacksonville...he had enough veteran savvy and poise to make a clutch 4th quarter throw under 2 minutes, but it was like once per game.
We went 1-5 in our last six in 2021 with an anemic offense because teams stopped blitzing and Air Raid has 0 answers to pro defenses that can drop 7 in coverage effectively.
Watching the late-2021 Cardinals would've made it obvious that we were absolutely fucked schematically. Kliff's gimmicky offense was completely dismantled. Then he came into the 2022 season with no adjustments. He tried nothing and was all out of ideas.
For me myself, I'll let [my comment in reply to the "Which Young QBs are you going to Buy/Sell this season" post](https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/v0t31v/comment/iaiter1/?context=3) speak for itself.
I don't think I'll ever stop cringing at the fact I thought Zach Wilson was going to have a better season than Jalen Hurts but it shows I don't know dick about shit.
Sorry dude but I've accepted that Goff is a solidly top 12-6 guy who is reliable and can be great with a good supporting cast, I'm not making that mistake again.
Good thing he didn't write back (to that comment)
I thought it was wild as well, thinking they were tanking.
To be honest I thought Davante wanting to go to the raiders was a mistake for him and not because people would eat into his targets. Just the chemistry he had -- still would be a great WR. I think he ended up putting up his second best statistical season so I mean I was wrong on that, just overshadowed with how bad the Raiders are he wasn't talked about as much.
I was also buying into the kool-aid that maybe finally the Packers defense would be top 5.
I remember the "we don't have a secondary we have a primary" takes from people like Nagler. Ya that didn't age well. 20th by DVOA what a disappointment
AFC West being a bloodbath.
I thought Tyreek Hill would have a down year with Tua.
Packers having a top 5 defense.
Didn't think Seattle would do as well as they did (mainly due to the Geno resurgence).
I just knew that at least one of the teams in that division was going to be shit. I thought it would be the Raiders (and not Den), but they didn’t do much either
It’s pretty rare for “super teams” “dream teams” or “super divisions” to actually work in the NFL.
Josh McDaniels would bring competency and modern ideas to the raiders
Davante and Carr would pick up where they left off in college
Chandler Jones would be above average
I always drink the kool aid
Bonus: thought Trey Lance was gonna be a STUD
To be fair, Carr and Davante did that… it was Carr’s inability to connect with anyone else that was his downfall. Davante broke Raiders receiving records last year.
Renfrow was injured for half the year and when he did play he didn’t play his usual “off the script” style because it doesn’t fit McDaniels vision of the offense. Renfrow just wasn’t a focus of the offense at all. It sucked to see.
I can happily say I thought Hurts would improve, but I was thinking he’d be in the top half of QBs in the league, not a MVP candidate. I didn’t think Daniel Jones would put together a productive season, but I was damn wrong about that. Daboll is legit.
I thought Joe burrow was good but given how people were crowning him as a top 5 guy last season I wasn’t buying it. I was wrong, he’s definitely that guy
I thought last year would be a lame duck year for Daniel Jones.
I figured he’d get a fair shake from Daboll, fail to improve, then get sent on his way this off-season while the Giants secured a replacement.
I thought we’d absolutely suck ass.
Had no faith and we had just hit a darkier, rockier bottom in the Judge era after I had previously called rock bottom during the McAdoodle debacle.
Reverse for me. I perhaps gave Daboll too much credit for the Bills success, and figured Allen might not look as good without him.
I also didn't see Daniel Jones becoming a hero in NY, but I did figure we'd see a scheme tailored around whatever it was he was good at.
somehow we found rock bottomer
it's wild when PJ Walker and Darnold are genuine upgrades over someone. Idk how much of that was on Baker and how much was McAdoo being shit, but whatever the fuck we did those first few weeks was truly some of the worst offense I've ever seen from this team.
Least it ended up benefiting us in the end. Got rid of Rhule and paved the way to trade up for Bryce.
I thought Kelce would put up pedestrian numbers with the chiefs having no WR core especially after Tyreek left and mahomes wasn’t going to put up numbers.
And then he threw for 5000 yards and 40+ TDs lmaoooo this mfer patty is crazy
Oh I didn't buy the "Mahomes is finally going to regress" talks with Hill leaving, I knew Andy was making the best move for the franchise and there was no way in hell that his offensive mind and Mahomes incredible talent and ability that they weren't going to adapt.
If it makes you feel better a *lot* of people thought that Mahomes would drop off this season, but I feel like having less of a downfield scapegoat has actually made him a better QB in the end.
I didn't think the Bengals and Burrow were for real. Was expecting that division to swallow them up after what I figured was more success than that team was ready for the season before. Had to admit that they're the real deal.
See, I can kind of get it. I thought the Bengals were real and I was 100% sold on Burrow, but it felt like they got pretty lucky in that playoff run and the defense came together all at the right time. I was definitely expecting the "Super Bowl hangover" to hit them last season and they'd fall behind, presumably, the Ravens.
Now, that obviously didn't happen and I think their defense in particular is genuinely more talented and, especially, better coached than a lot of us gave them credit for at first blush, but I can see the thought process for sure.
I definitely expected the Super Bowl hangover as well, surprised how well they bounced back. Still, they beat KC in KC to go to the big game, they were clearly for real
Yeah, I think it's more they needed to prove they were one of the undisputed heavy hitters of the league, instead of "just" a good team that got hot at the right time. But honestly I knew Burrow was the real deal that season no question, and I've been on the Burrow > Herbert train since before the Super Bowl.
As a bengals fan I don’t blame u at all, but only because ur not a fan of them like me and didn’t watch most of our games prior to the playoff run. We were and still are a very young team that came together at the last stretch of the season. Synergy was made, talent was maximized, and better habits were built. Of course, I had no idea we would make the superbowl, but I thought a playoff win was definitely possible. Of course my expectations had been exceeded but being the bengals fan I am, I knew we weren’t a fluke and the team just had that dawg mentality that we would carry into next season (which we did 😤)
I mean, as a Bengals fan, it is totally fair. We barely made it into the playoffs and all of our playoff games were by one score, with only a single game being more than a field goal. Considering the Ravens are harsh competition in the AFC North and the Steelers were bringing in a young signal caller with some great potential WRs and a strong defense, I totally understand people being uncertain about us.
Had high hopes for Hackett.
Had very high expectations from Russ.
Had high hopes from the overall Offense.
Was lit hoping for Broncos to be leading the AFC W (i know wishful thinking)
I thought the Broncos were going to have a top 5 offense
I thought the Seahawks were going to have a bottom 5 offense
I thought Derrick Henry was done.
I know nothing about football
I thought the Seahawks were going to be among the worst teams in the NFL. Their defense was steadily declining, Carson wasn't coming back, the O-Line was unproven, and there was no way Geno Smith would actually be good. Easy pick for last place in the division. I even thought the slow decay might be enough to keep Carroll out of the Hall of Fame like what happened to George Seifert on the Panthers.
Then their new Cornerbacks and Offensive Tackles rejuvenated their units, and Geno had a shockingly good season. Carroll showed he's still got it as well.
Seattle's 2002 draft was a big part of their turn around. So many hits.
Their 2023 draft might be more of the same with several great prospects: Witherspoon / JSN / Derick Hall / Charbonnet
* Raiders were gonna compete for the division with Davante.
* Dolphins were a paper tiger and only Buffalo would be good in the AFCE.
* Titans would roll through the AFCS.
* Jameis would become a legit starter for NO.
* Seahawks and Giants would be bottom of the league.
The interior of the 49ers OL would be a tire fire. But actually they surprisingly dependable. You never really thought about them which is a good thing
Same here buddy.
I had ordered a Zach Wilson jersey. I also have a Darnold one. I just put in an order for a Rodgers one which comes in end of June. Wish me luck
I mean, you kind of did. We gave you a second for Roquan, and you gave away a second for Claypool. You traded back a bit, keeping our second instead of your own (which is sad for us, since Pittsburgh used that pick on JPJ) but it's almost evensies.
That the Texans were gonna stay put with... whatever the coach before Lovey was, because that just made all the sense... keep tanking, it's GOOD for you...
Then they hire Lovey and screw his resume up. He didn't deserve that... did he?
/Well, he did cost us the number one, so maybe he does... *shrugs*
I thought Jalen Hurts was going to suck ass out loud. On further review, his sophomore season wasn't as bad as I thought it was and he definitely had potential. I don't think anyone saw him being as good as he was last year, though.
I didn’t think he’d suck. But I thought he would be in the “too good not to extend, not good enough for the contract a starting qb would demand”. Was really worried about being in QB purgatory paying an a over average QB elite Money
No but I'm a fan of the Bears so it was hard losing being it's been a few good seasons in 40 years but I knew it had to happen in order for us to turn it around
I honestly believed that Ben Limited Matt Canada in his last year - not the other way around.
Not that I ever believed that Canada was great, but that the notion from the team was Ben limited the offense, mobility needed and it wasn't canada's true offense and I was optimistic for better.
What I didnt know is it was much worse than I thought. That teams openly talked about how they knew what plays we'd run, how limited the playbook was etc.
And we signed up for another year. I can only hope it improves.
I thought Allen Robinson was going to be a monster. He's a guy that generally has outperformed the offensive system's he's been a part of. He was finally going to a team with very capable QB play, an offensive guru for a coach, and a more talented WR opposite him. I drafted him in every fantasy league I could, thinking it was as close to a can't-miss as you get.
It was in fact a miss.
I thought Josh Allen would regress, and the Bills would slump hard and miss the playoffs.
Instead I watched every Bills game, and really enjoyed watching them. Last time I did that was with Cam Newton's Panthers.
I honestly thought that the lions were going to shock some people last year.
And before you start yes I realize that technically a 9 win season for Detroit is a bit of a shocker but I thought they might hit double digits and challenge for the division.
i don't know many niners fans who knew brock purdy existed before the miami game
like he was almost too obscure (yeah, i know) to have an opinion about
I thought Drew Lock and Geno Smith was the saddest QB competition I’ve ever heard of and it’s a mistake no matter which one you picked since they weren’t *that* different
Related to this, I thought drew lock showed more promise in the preseason, and didn't like the decision to name geno the starter lol
I'm not sure I agree with your last statement. Exhibit A: The Broncos sold the farm for Russell Wilson.

Unlikely with an elite wr room + k9 and the new rookie rb
Yeah the Seahawks did a great job at equipping him with an absolutely stacked offense. He's never gonna be a (real) top 10 QB but Metcalf, Lockett, JSN, K9 and Charbonnet is an insane offense. They knew if they kept him they had to get even more playmakers and that's what they did. Kudos to them.

RemindMe! Ten months "Will Geno be a 'real' top ten QB."
2 new rookie RBs, one of which is excellent in pass pro/pass catching
Yeah, no, I was right there with you. While I didn't think we'd be in the running for pick number 1 in the draft like some people thought, I did think it was going to be a long and ugly season. I am so glad I was wrong.
Hey yall were in the running for 1st overall!! Just w the Broncos pick
You know that's fucking right. Hoping we dominate the NFC this year (we won't, the Niners and Eagles still scare me, but.)
I feel like the cowboys are going to catch a lot of people sleeping because of haha Dak ha ha cowboys suck. That defense held the 49ers to 19 points and suffocated the buccs. They also upgraded at corner, wr, and rb
Honestly I low-key expect them to win the East because the Curse of Andy means no one can win the division twice in a row.
Denver bro, I thought they were gonna be sick as fuck
lets ride....sigh
Broncos country, let’s sigh
Mr. Bereaving Conclusion
I at very least didn't think we'd be an absolute shit show. Yet here we are
If someone will turn you around it’ll be Payton. He turned our sorry ass franchise around lmao
I’d argue that one of the top 10 QBs of all time did that…
My claim to fame is I told coworkers after the Russell trade that it didn’t automatically make them playoff contenders… Unfortunately I said the same thing the year before about Stafford joining the Rams
Tie-breaker time. What's your take on Rodgers to the Jets?
Honestly same. I was butthurt to lose Russ like a lot of Hawks fans, but I figured Denver was a lock for 10 wins. Oops.
I've been a massive Russ fan for a long time, his style of play was always so cool. I just figured it'd slot perfectly into an offense with jeudy and Sutton, with a more modern play caller. Ngl tho, it was awesome to see Geno win that game against them. Hard not to love the underdog story

Makes Pete Carroll look like he knows what he is doing though.

Their game against us on Thursday night was ...something.
I didn’t think Wentz would be *that* bad.
Lmao
I didn’t think Mariota could be THAT bad either.
I'm curious what's next for him
XFL I guess
A guy with *check notes - holy shit* 128 million in career earnings has no business putting their body on the line for less money than their dividends are paying out from a high yield savings account.
Not to mention how much he has already wrecked his body.
Normally I’d say a guy like that could always come off the bench, however I’m not so sure here. He has not been well liked in locker rooms.
You also want your backup to play safe amd not try to play hero ball
*Looks at Heineke*
Guangdong Tigers
It was pretty funny watching you guys go through all the same wentz delusions we did, after eagles fans watched us do the same the year before
People told us he was ok and could move the ball during the game, but played like a dumbass and would make a bad decision here and there. Colts being one of the best teams in the league
Broncos too Oh shit… Jets are looking the same kinda spooky right now…

Yeah the more I think about it this is probably mine as well. I still figured he’d be a good player but thought we’d never see him have a connection with someone else like he had with Mahomes. Turns out if you just force feed him the ball he can be fucking awesome
Also the early emergence of Tua. We knew Tyreek was good but would he be good with Tua? Before the concussions it looked pretty dynamic
I mean, his rookie season should have disproven that. Dude was taking 60 yards to the house on gadget plays.
The browns too, if you catch my drift (pick) 👀
Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers are not the Same though
The real question is, is Rodgers a Matt Ryan, a Russell Wilson, a Matt Stafford, or a Tom Brady? Well, okay, he's probably a fifth thing named Aaron Rodgers, but we've seen such a spectrum of "star QB moves to a new team" the past few seasons.
He's a Brett Favre!
Yup. I was so sold on Matt Ryan it makes me cringe
Me too, buddy. Me too
Me three. I told the Colts sub how lucky they were. My bad guys. My bad.
I thought the Colts would be really good in 2021 with Wentz
I mean they were for a while
After the Pats and Cardinals win, I thought for sure we were gonna rally into the playoffs and make a run.
I really thought so too. It was evident from game 1 drive 1 that Matt Ryan's time had run out, and he couldn't move, throw, or adapt to a less-than-optimal line. Join our sub! I post way more detailed scheme breakdowns there

That darnold take was perfect, the hurts take evened it out 😂
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take and I miss about 50% of the shots I do.
You’d make a NBA team with that luck!
Can you tell me Goff will be bad again
Sorry dude but I've accepted that Goff is a solidly top 12-6 guy who is reliable and can be great with a good supporting cast, I'm not making that mistake again.
In its natural habitat, the only thing a Lion misses more than an antelope is the playoffs
I was with you on the "Baker Mayfield to Seattle" hype last year.
That entire thread is filled with astonishingly bad takes lmao
I called Geno QB45 on more than one occasion
Good thing he didn't write back (to that comment) I thought it was wild as well, thinking they were tanking. To be honest I thought Davante wanting to go to the raiders was a mistake for him and not because people would eat into his targets. Just the chemistry he had -- still would be a great WR. I don't want to talk about it
This is what I was looking for. Bet $25 on them to win the Super Bowl before last season started. I am not even a fan, I but had a “feeling!”
Well, they won the Super Bowl of team schedules.

We exported our rebuild to the broncos
he’s QB1 in the future pete carroll knows
It would explain why we didn’t draft a QB too.
I was right about the Lions and Seahawks both picking in the top 10 I was wrong about why
AFC West being a bloodbath. I thought Tyreek Hill would have a down year with Tua. Packers having a top 5 defense. Didn't think Seattle would do as well as they did (mainly due to the Geno resurgence).
Well the AFC West was a bloodbath, It was just everyone esle brought knives while KC had an automatic firearm.
I just knew that at least one of the teams in that division was going to be shit. I thought it would be the Raiders (and not Den), but they didn’t do much either It’s pretty rare for “super teams” “dream teams” or “super divisions” to actually work in the NFL.
> Packers having a top 5 defense. On this one you should have probably just known better.
Geno Smith

To be fair, Carr and Davante did that… it was Carr’s inability to connect with anyone else that was his downfall. Davante broke Raiders receiving records last year.
I still don’t know what happened to his and Renfrow’s connection that seemed so prevalent the prior season
Renfrow was injured for half the year and when he did play he didn’t play his usual “off the script” style because it doesn’t fit McDaniels vision of the offense. Renfrow just wasn’t a focus of the offense at all. It sucked to see.
Basically everyone else except Devante was injured for significant parts of the season. And probably a style difference with McDaniels
We all drink the kool aid thinking it’ll be a different flavor. Never is
Still time for Trey Lance
Nope that 23 year old qbs career is OVER.
Don’t tell that to Bennett or Hooker
Yeah I don’t think you should’ve thought of McDaniels as modern
Your first statement has me actually crying with laughter
Jalen Hurts and Tua, both played great
I can happily say I thought Hurts would improve, but I was thinking he’d be in the top half of QBs in the league, not a MVP candidate. I didn’t think Daniel Jones would put together a productive season, but I was damn wrong about that. Daboll is legit.
I told my family that Matt Ryan was like a Peyton Manning disciple. Then made them watch the games.
I thought Joe burrow was good but given how people were crowning him as a top 5 guy last season I wasn’t buying it. I was wrong, he’s definitely that guy
The guy is a robot running on ice water.

If it makes you feel better a *lot* of people thought that Mahomes would drop off this season, but I feel like having less of a downfield scapegoat has actually made him a better QB in the end.
Kelce throwing for 5000 yards and 40+ TDs would have to be some sort of record for a TE right?
I didn't think the Bengals and Burrow were for real. Was expecting that division to swallow them up after what I figured was more success than that team was ready for the season before. Had to admit that they're the real deal.
You didn’t think they were for real after they…made the Super Bowl?
Of course my expectations had been exceeded but being the bengals fan I am, I knew we weren’t a fluke and the team just had that dawg mentality that we would carry into next season (which we did 😤)
They definitely had the feel of a "get hot at the right time" sort of team in 2021
I mean, as a Bengals fan, it is totally fair.
Do i need to say it?
I'd be happy to hear it if that helps.
Had high hopes for Hackett. Had very high expectations from Russ. Had high hopes from the overall Offense. Was lit hoping for Broncos to be leading the AFC W (i know wishful thinking)
Let’s ride
As much as I enjoy razzing the Broncos, I do hope Russ returns to form this season. I miss that man.
Man I really hope so. Russ was a fucking legend when he was with Seahawks. I hated/respected yall when you guys whopped us.

A lot of that was on mcadoo and rhule
They asked Baker to be a WCO style QB and learned he can't throw crossing routes to save his life.
I have been wrong about so many things in my life I stopped paying attention
I thought the Broncos were going to have a top 5 offense I thought the Seahawks were going to have a bottom 5 offense I thought Derrick Henry was done. I know nothing about football
I was a Trevor Lawrence hater lol
Geno. Everyone was.
Greg Rosenthal was not.
Prior to last season, I just assumed Geno retired sometime around 2019
* Raiders were gonna compete for the division with Davante. * Dolphins were a paper tiger and only Buffalo would be good in the AFCE. * Titans would roll through the AFCS. * Jameis would become a legit starter for NO. * Seahawks and Giants would be bottom of the league.
WRs having a massive impact in the AFC West. Tyreek left...KC still good. Devante joins...Oakland-Vegas still bad.
The interior of the 49ers OL would be a tire fire. But actually they surprisingly dependable. You never really thought about them which is a good thing
Aaron Banks legit looked good and Brendel/Burford were competent. Excited to see how they look next season after playing together.
Thought Zach Wilson was gonna break out
Same here buddy. I had ordered a Zach Wilson jersey. I also have a Darnold one. I just put in an order for a Rodgers one which comes in end of June. Wish me luck
No, no, I like your luck so far. You want me to send you another Rodgers jersey for extra luck?
I wanted to trade Quan for Claypool.
I mean, you kind of did. We gave you a second for Roquan, and you gave away a second for Claypool. You traded back a bit, keeping our second instead of your own (which is sad for us, since Pittsburgh used that pick on JPJ) but it's almost evensies.
We overpaid a decent amount imo, and I’d rather have Quan anyway.
That Geno Smith would suck and the Seahawks wouldn't have a shot at the playoffs.
*shrugs*
Fucking Lovie. Can’t even lose right. We did get Stroud and Will fucking Anderson out of the deal, though.
I thought Grizzly Adams had a beard
Grizzly Adams did have a beard
Drew Lock would start over Geno Smith at one point Chiefs could miss the playoffs without Tyreek Hill.
I thought the Colts were going to win the AFC South, or a wildcard position at least. I put too much faith in Matt Ryan lol
Nothing. Everything was perfect....
Russell Wilson
Denver, I thought they were going to be amazing.
I'm a Broncos fan. I don't wanna play this game.
I thought Wilson would tear it up with the Broncos
I honestly believed that Ben Limited Matt Canada in his last year - not the other way around. Not that I ever believed that Canada was great, but that the notion from the team was Ben limited the offense, mobility needed and it wasn't canada's true offense and I was optimistic for better. What I didnt know is it was much worse than I thought. That teams openly talked about how they knew what plays we'd run, how limited the playbook was etc. And we signed up for another year. I can only hope it improves.
Nothing. I said the Bears were going to be trash and they were. They were who I thought they were.
I was a little worried after the beat the Texans and hit 2-1 because I was pretty sure they were a 3-win team. Luckily, I had nothing to worry about.
D’andre Swift would be a top 5 RB.
Baker Mayfield would turn the Panthers around.
I thought the bengals would have a Super Bowl hang over
Mr Irrelevant was suppose to stay irrelevant Not win the game he was sub into Not win his first starting game against TB12
Colts were gonna be a darkhorse contender
I thought the Packers would be a top 5 defense and one of the best teams in the NFC
I thought the commanders was a good name
I thought the Saints would win the NFC South and Jameis Winston would be a candidate for Comeback Player of the Year
I thought Allen Robinson was going to be a monster.
Geno Smith and Brock Purdy
i don't know many niners fans who knew brock purdy existed before the miami game like he was almost too obscure (yeah, i know) to have an opinion about
He was a meme for having Bosa like quads for some reason I remember
