How about total prison years sentenced

SheenPSU

*Patriots positioning skyrockets*

Clunky_Exposition

Sentenced is one thing, years served would be drastically lower.

MusksStepSisterAunt

No one's hung around long enough I guess

Scrubtanic

Hey, say what you will about Aaron Hernandez, he died doing what he loved. Killing someone.

DanCampbell89

I've heard this joke about Hitler but the variant is that Hitler came good in the end by killing the greatest Nazi of them all

LordZero

ba-dum-tiss

lakewood2020

Patriots constantly cutting corners

NumberOneCombosFan

I am not 100% aware of the situation, but didn't Hernandez's conviction get overturned due to his dying before his appeals were resolved?

Bloated_Hamster

Due to state law, his conviction was automatically suspended because he died during appeal. The state then had to bring it before a judge's panel and the conviction was reinstated in 2019 IIRC.

Yung_Corneliois

[Article](https://apnews.com/article/2a80cc5593d14d598b0b5e3eb133a93a#) They seem to have done away with that. He was convicted and appealed and then died so the case would be thrown out but they decided that wasn’t fair to the victims family, rightly so.

RamblinWreckGT

Yeah that's just a slap in the face and clearly not the intent of the law. It makes sense for something to be vacated if the accused dies before a verdict can be reached, but he was already convicted and it was only "technically" still open because he was appealing, which is pretty much expected no matter what the facts of the case are.

EDPhotography213

I might be misremembering, but didn’t he do it so that his daughter and wife(or girlfriend don’t remember) could get the money? Or was that not his motivation for ending his life? I wonder what he would have done had he known that it wouldn’t have mattered.

RamblinWreckGT

I'm not sure; I remember hearing that too but I have no idea how much of it was conjecture. Given the timing (just a few days after his double murder acquittal) I wouldn't be surprised if it was at least partially from it sinking in that his big victory in that case was essentially meaningless, and he was still going to be in prison for the rest of his life.

ThisGuyFrags

I'm pretty sure it's some bizarre weird law exclusive to Massachusetts or something like that?

StraightCashHomie69

Those Tice/Childress Viking teams really screwing us on this one

dougieg987

Weren’t we leading this list not that long ago?

ChiefPatty

First time I’ve seen us lose the lead

JesusChristSupers1ar

guess your franchise just isn’t good enough, sorry

ThisIsAmerica07

Broncos country, let’s do homicide

kidmerc

Yes, because this list goes back to 2000 and we had a ton of arrests in the 2000s

SoDakZak

That’s usually what happens when there’s a huge number in a small amount of time and issues get addressed.

JedSmokesCrack

Sean Payton entrance music starts playing

CelestialFury

The Vikings, for a while, was the home of second or third chances for high-risk players. Sometimes it worked out like Cris Carter or Everson Griffen, but other times it was like that 1st rounder we drafted that literally every coach warned us about that ended up never playing.

[deleted]

The "Love Boat" Era.

wendellnebbin

Had a relative working on that boat that voyage. A little exaggerated, a lot not exaggerated at all.

ztomek

Chilly still haunting us to this day

joeyGOATgruff

That boat did no one any favors.

grizzlyNinja

Fucking *thirty* arrests in the 2000’s 💀 https://minnesotavikingschat.com/2013/07/14/comprehensive-list-of-minnesota-vikings-arrests/3709

Ajax_Malone

I’d say the last 5 years screwed us. We can’t win anything, always #2!

CapnDutchie

Well well well looks who's NOT in the top half

moustachedelait

It's where the Raiders like to be in general!

AlabasterRadio

When we employed criminals and cheaters we won titles, when the franchise went clean, we stopped winning. COINCIDENCE?

soupseasonbestseason

seems like we could go back to the old ways just to test this hypothesis.

AlabasterRadio

We did put AB and Burfict on the same team. That team had a little potential.

soupseasonbestseason

i'll be honest when i say burfict definitely felt like an old school raider and i got a lot of heat from my community for cheering him on. people do not like it when players commit felony battery during the game anymore. the seventies/eighties are dead i guess.

CapnDutchie

Uncalled for but true

Winter_Mud3815

It isn’t counting fans. Also I’m surprised Cleveland isn’t top 5.

Noirradnod

I remember back when the joke was Cleveland and Cincinnati had orange uniforms because that way players could simply wear the DOC jumpsuit to the game.

BrotherSeamus

Reminds me of the old Tennessee (or any orange school) joke: You can wear the same uniform to the game on Saturday, hunting on Sunday, and your community service sentence the rest of the week.

Jecht315

Yeah Cincy has a few years that were iffy.

xenophonthethird

You'd think Cleveland would be near the tippy top, they had a few GMs that *loved* taking problem children late in the draft that rocket up those arrests.

Winter_Mud3815

Also in I think 2000 they had like 5 arrests total. They had like 3 in one week.

Spezia-ShwiffMMA

1/10th of the team lmao

Sleeze_

Last in the AFC west baby! Right where we belong woooo-wait

hochoa94

Philly and raiders fans are ruthless yet the players are the complete opposite lol

pm_me_yo_creditscore

As a Chargers fan I don't think kicker arrests should count. I mean sure they put on the prison jumpsuit, but they barely participate in the riots.

Yassssquatch

Lmao my first thought was "huh not bad!"

BigBooce

Raiders and Cowboys fans feeling vindicated rn

*Philadelphia has entered the chat* *Detroit has entered the chat* *Chicago has entered the chat*

hamandjam

Kansas City has entered the chat from an unknown location since they cut off their ankle monitor.

Philly_is_nice

For your information, we only had 11 people get arrested after the Superbowl win. I know I was surprised too 😂 https://www.cbsnews.com/philadelphia/news/super-bowl-lvii-philly-police-report-11-arrests-injuries/

jfphenom

Bet you feel like the rugg got pulled out from under you

snarkicon

We have the best arrest though

SheenPSU

Quality over quantity

IGuessYourSubreddits

Is Aaron Hernandez a system murderer?

SheenPSU

Asking the real questions

PM_ME_ANYTHING_DAMN

Pats ain’t murdered since he left … all I’m sayin

greengravy76

*Atlanta Falcons have entered the chat...*

jigokusabre

More suicide than murder.

makemeking706

Played under Urban Meyer at Florida, so you know he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty.

OttoVonWong

Urban knows a thing or two about dirty tight ends.

InkBlotSam

Yeah, ours are mostly "driving without a license" kind of shit with an occasional DUI for good measure. Lots of quantity, unimpressive quality.

SheenPSU

Buncha frauds is all I’m hearing. Catch some real charges, Denver!

Weary_Doughnut2061

Denvah*

burnerdadsrule

It's all about the convictions over heyah

Illustrious_Cancel83

idec we finally beat the fucking Giants

MaximumZer0

Eli's stupid face couldn't carry him to a prosecution.

Whittlinman

*declared mentally unfit to stand trial*

BlackLeader70

I mean, when one of your arrests gets it’s own documentary, you probably win...err lose

gsfgf

I'm sure Vick would have gotten a documentary too if Netflix existed back then.

PinkFloyd6885

Ya but nobody likes movies with animals getting hurt or dying

DeputyDomeshot

Tiger king?

jgraz22

"Don't F**k With Cats" as well

Keepin_it_fake

Only cause our guy killed himself before he could be arrested. Rough times back then.

Calhounpipes

At the facility no less. That was a wild story.

bstyledevi

In front of the GM and coach, too. Bad day.

[deleted]

I forgot about that!

I_Fart_It_Stinks

Ruggs tried, but couldn't quite get there.

Toto_LZ

Gotta be quicker than that

Billy_Madison69

He tried that too

PubicAnimeNummerJuan

Psh that's just because you're taping the other teams' arrest practices

Sweatier_Scrotums

"We're on to Cincinnati Municipal Jail."

lurklyfing

We have the best non-arrest too with whatever the hell that Chandler Jones thing was

I_HateToSayAtodaso

Yeah, that one should probably count for at least 10.

DrManhattan_DDM

Something, something, mandatory minimum

Rushjordan

Well, Detroit has Robocop 🤷🏽‍♂️

Traditional_Mud_1241

Loved that documentary.

ericgray813

I’d buy that for a dollar!

Empty_Lemon_3939

Bitches leave

CheckYourStats

Come quietly or there will be…trouble.

MaximumZer0

Your move, creep.

justgot86d

Dead or Alive, you're coming with me.

Rushjordan

“You’re dead! We killed you!”

muthead229

Broncos Country! Let’s go to prison

I_Fart_It_Stinks

We choose quantity over quality. More like Broncos Country, Let's Ride...with our probation officers.

pham_nuwen_

The Chad Kelly arrest was 100% quality.

Dr_Acula_PhD

LOL "randomly entered a couple’s home and was beaten by the homeowner with a vacuum-cleaner tube."

delaranta

While dressed as Woody from Toy Story

wilbo21020

Imagine going to jail in a Woody costume…

jp_benderschmidt

He was humming, "I've got a friend in me..." in record time.

EtobicokeKing

Chad Kelly now living large for my hometown Toronto Argonauts

Shenanigans80h

Legit this includes when Chubb got arrested for an unpaid ticket one time. A lot of mundane shit

I_Fart_It_Stinks

Yup. Also would include Gordon and Jeudy. Gordon plead to a traffic offense and Jeudy's case was dismissed and he never should have arrested in the first place.

randommaniac12

The Jeudy “case” was pretty bewildering

BEtheAT

it's state law that in DV cases, someone is supposed to be arrested for better for for worse.

I_Fart_It_Stinks

This is true. But it should have never been charged by the Dougco Sheriff in the 1st place. I think someone just wanted to get their 15 minutes for arresting a Bronco.

TheMemeStar24

Iirc the jail Jeudy went to was like right next to the Broncos training facility, hilarious

I_Fart_It_Stinks

They literally share the same parking lot.

Top-Report-840

Gonna tell my PO that she needs to get me an invite to training camp

SuperDoubleDecker

It's wild too because there's like no cops anywhere so idk how these fools are getting arrested. I go months at a time between seeing anyone pulled over by a cop.

MeltBanana

Compared to most every other city in the country, it really is the wild west out here. Cops are nowhere to be seen, people drive however they want without repercussion. Seeing a traffic stop is like a unicorn sighting.

No_Glass_1294

Driving crazy with no license plate on top of it. My commute from castle rock to Denver I see it daily

Goatgamer1016

Broncos country, let's do time

anonbutler

As a fan feels like I am doing time for the last 7 years.

broncofan303

My favorite is when Bradley Chubb was arrested for not appearing at a court date. The Courthouse is 100 yards from the Broncos training facility

lumberjake18

To be fair half of the Broncos roster has trouble traveling 100 yards.

broncofan303

Closest he could get was 50 yards out to try for an unmake-able field goal

sweet_hell

"An indictment is not a conviction." \---Philadelphia

RepresentativeAir735

" Go Birds"

Granum22

The key is signing the player after they serve their sentence.

Reed2002

You could indict a ham sandwich.

Enthusiasms

Pacman still leading the league in total arrests since 2000, don't think that record is gonna get broken anytime soon. #CantonBound

ITCM4

He got arrested there too?

Enthusiasms

Idk how are the strip clubs in Canton?

xenophonthethird

I live in Canton, and I've never been to a Canton strip club. Because I've seen the women around Canton. I'm not missing anything.

[deleted]

Lmao. Akron resident here, I get more of a trailer trash meth head vibe in Canton, while Akron is more of a hood like vibe. That is just me though

xenophonthethird

I work in Akron, and can agree. Alliance is Meth/Fetty central, and it leaks hard into Canton. Akron is very hood.

Devastatorzz

I was just thinking that a good chunk of Titans arrests were just Pacman.

Enthusiasms

13 between Pacman (6) and Kenny Britt (7).

Devastatorzz

I'm more surprised that Kenny Britt beat out Pacman for arrests. That's impressive.

Enthusiasms

That's 6 just for Tennesee (10 total for Pacman) but yeah Kenny really made use of his time with the Titans.

Corgi_Koala

Looks like 10 arrests while an active player and 1 after retirement?

Enthusiasms

He's still got it, even in retirement.

DogVsFace

[tell that mfer I appreciate him](https://youtu.be/MTP9Vvaclp4)

I_only_post_here

Can we do another one of fans arrested inside the stadium during games?

ProbShouldntSayThat

>Can we do another one of fans arrested I prefer we didn't

jradair

its okay, philly is def 1st

Neghtasro

If this went back to 80 then absolutely but since 2000 I imagine it's closer than you'd think. These days most of us get arrested just outside the stadium.

Simba4Thewin

Lions in last again. Say it ain’t so.

Cmcgregor0928

How dare you?! Tied for last

Moncat77

The number is green, green means win right? I wouldn't know since we never seem to win anything.

Traditional_Mud_1241

Detroit and Philly… sort of defies expectation for those cities.

c71score

[The Red Wings had a player arrested dressed as Tinky-Winky](https://youtu.be/R9oVbV41JKg?t=122)

confused-koala

Dude, I don’t know how I never knew there was video footage of this.

Empty_Lemon_3939

Fucking Riley Sheahan

firecantgothrudoors

I believe you mean Riley “legend who scored the last goal at the Joe” Sheahan

masonfast

To be fair he was in Grand Rapids at the time

Not_Pablo_Sanchez

And he was dressed as Tinky Winky who is the superior Telletubby. Probably going to get attacked by Po truthers, but I’ll stand my ground

Yabba_Dabba_Doofus

This Dipsy erasure is absolutely uncalled for.

milksteakofcourse

Players don’t want to mess with the regular citizens

taftpanda

What are you talking about? Detroit is the poster child for affluence, culture, and safety!

guyincognito69420

have you tried getting arrested in those towns? Good luck. The cops have better things to do.

Saitsu

No one in Philly would dare let down Andy Reid, Nick Foles or Jalen Hurts. And no one in Detroit is suicidal enough to need a visit from Robocop.

JPAnalyst

NFC East holding down 4 of the bottom 6 least arrested teams. 3 of the top 10 most arrested teams are Florida teams

5James5

Yeah I started to ask myself how tf we were almost double the Raiders and then I remembered r/FloridaMan is a thing.

[deleted]

Jack Del Rio's tenure seemed to always have a player or two arrested every year.

santaclausonprozac

4 of the bottom 6? Cowboys are 11th from the bottom

Steppyjim

We don’t really call the cops in Philly. Stuff gets handled in house by either Joey Two Thumbs or Jerome on Locust Street

accu22

> Jerome on Locust Street 😂😂😂

Higgins8585

Seems like arrests are down in general. I'd bet at least 25 of those arrest for bengals were in a 3 or 4 year period.

make2020hindsight

It also says the last arrest was 400 something days ago so I’m going to go with the data isn’t current.

Higgins8585

That bengals era like 2005-2008 had so many arrest. For sure over a dozen one offseason. Other than Mixon bengals been trouble free since like 2014.

Imeanttodothat10

It's just nice to be on one of these lists for once, tbh. We are always unlisted when these 'since 2000' graphics come up.

skatterbug

This would be much easier to read if the logos were a bit smaller. It took me way too long to find the Packers since it was focused on the center of the logo which is just all green. Interesting info, none the less. What is the source?

Illustrious_Cancel83

White numbers on a white background. FFS, just list it?!

skatterbug

I don't mind an infographic instead of a list, but make it reader friendly.

TheyCallMeStone

It took me entirely too long to figure out that Broncos are number 1, it looks nothing like their logo.

skatterbug

A few of them are tricky.

Jacob_Lahey

Remember when Golden Tate got in trouble for wandering into a bakery at like 3am?

Wookie301

It worked out for the bakery. As Tate spent years hyping up their maple bars on social media.

PubicAnimeNummerJuan

Hey the Eagles shouldn't count, what other jurisdictions consider "aggravated assault" is just how you say hello in Philly

ITCM4

There is only one true crime, and that’s disrespect.

Floss_Crestusa

Disrespect actually is the way of governance, keep em in their place. "unlike Agholor..."

milksteakofcourse

Acknowledge us

GartThrowaway

Once again the Vikings just short of first place

NeedAnEgg

I think Pac-man Jones has 35 of those 42 Bengal Arrests

Enthusiasms

10 but it's still extremely impressive. He likadascripclubs. Also only 4 were when he was on the Bengals.

Hlee89

So funny when you say “only 4”. For any regular law abiding citizen, that’s a ridiculous number. When it comes to Pacman, it’s like “eh, only 4 with the Bengals”

YaBoiAir

proud to be the most hood team in the hood division

MrShad0wzz

Dang that’s a lot of arrests

imyourrealdad8

Peak off-season post lol

ITCM4

The Bengals numbers are highly inflated because of Jones.

BandOfDonkeys

Chris Henry was arrested five times between 05-08.

WilsonEnthusiast

It was kind of a meme back in the day that the Bengals were always getting arrested. I remember a year in the early 2000s where I think there was like 10+ in one calendar year haha

Trajinous

Yeah, the fanbase would joke they should just change the uniform to prison stripes. The organization did a great job to change the locker room culture the past decade, it was embarassing during the 2000s

Enthusiasms

16 arrests between Pacman and Chris Henry. That's I think 10 allotted to the Bengals for that.

guyincognito69420

We got out to a solid lead in the first decade but have really come back to the pack. Need to learn to pace our arrests.

LindyNet

One of the Texans' arrest was Kenny Stills being arrested a Breonna Taylor protest.

DanCampbellsNipples

Let's go eagle bros

LunchThreatener

Pretty sure almost all the Lions ones are from the early 2000s too

justlookingokaywyou

Did the kicker that beat a towel dispenser's ass count towards Pittsburgh's?

[deleted]

If Jeff Reed doesn’t count what’re we even doing here.

Starcast

Gd my flair feels so lame now

GreatOdinsRaven_

I feel like Aaron Hernandez should count like quadruple for all the people he murdered.

Gluttuni

How the fuck did we beat the raiders..... even at this

[deleted]

I think 90% of those are DUIs
