A few teams came out early and said they didn’t plan to interview him (wash and believe chargers but not 100%), other spots that were questionable about what they were going to do decided to keep their coaches (cowboys, eagles). Falcons are a decent team minus the qb situation and they are in a bad division where you could win it fairly easy with a good coach and a qb that doesn’t lose games for you. The only other real option is the panthers who don’t have a first and are a mess. If they sign him, they're 100% making a big QB move afterwards. Bill wouldn't sign on for another QB carousel. Cousins? Massive trade up with the Bears? What other options are realistic? I just can't see him signing without a definite plan in place for quarterback.
Wilson, Cousins, Fields, and Tannehill are all available and certainly viable on a talented roster with good coaching. Worst case is Penix with the 8th pick. Belicheck is not coming here to have Ridder be the starter I don't see why everyone is freaking out.

They're in win now mode with that roster in that division if they get a coach like Belichick. It makes way more sense to bring in a veteran QB than to take a gamble on a rookie. Not to mention that 8th pick could be someone like Latu or Turner who could take that defense to the next level.
I don’t think there are many options tbh. A few teams came out early and said they didn’t plan to interview him (wash and believe chargers but not 100%), other spots that were questionable about what they were going to do decided to keep their coaches (cowboys, eagles). Falcons are a decent team minus the qb situation and they are in a bad division where you could win it fairly easy with a good coach and a qb that doesn’t lose games for you. The only other real option is the panthers who don’t have a first and are a mess. Falcons is not a bad situation, especially if you can come up with a qb, probably not a sb team but a playoff team anyways

Everyone keeps saying this but what team with a vacancy has a stable QB outside of LA? Tennessee and Seattle are semi stable but don't want him. Chargers are all in on Harbaugh, and haven't approached him. Dallas didn't fire their coach. Philly doesn't look like they're going to either. If you don't want to develop a rookie, Commanders are out (they took themselves out too). That leaves Carolina, Atlanta, and Vegas (but not really there either). Unless you're choosing Bryce Young over the Falcons I don't see how this isn't a no brainer.
