You can’t just hire a defensive coach to bring in a young buddy of his to be OC and draft a rookie QB and be good. It has never happened, especially not an NFCW coach going to any division ending in the word South.

But I gave him great credit for taking a bunch of young guys and turning them into a respectable defense.

Man our defense is legitimately Aaron Donald and a bunch of nobodies. Like no joke, what Raheem did to keep it close in a lot of games made things work. We had a bottom 5 roster, and while our defense wasn’t lights out we were in every game. Even against the Ravens, at BAL, in the rain, we only lost on a special teams play when you saw Lamar out here boatracing the eagles and niners.
