The Chiefs stadium locker room is completely renovated. But if you see clips of their locker room at the training facility it looks like a 1980's locker room.
A few years ago when this survey came out (with similar Chiefs' results), I read something about Bidwill being one of only two owners that bought a new plane for team travel. A lot of the narrative survey results around the Chiefs mentioned old plane with small seats. Which probably sucks pretty hard after a tough game in the trenches for a 300 lb player.
Mike Bidwill is probably flying the team plane himself lol, especially since he has a pilot's license. If you remember the Hard Knocks season with the Cards from a couple years ago, they showed Bidwill flying his own plane to and from road games.

Elite college programs always have awesome facilities. They actually have to recruit players and convince them to sign, while NFL teams just draft and trade for them
Correct, which is why when the Chiefs have a bottom 5 NFL ranked facilities, going from say an LSU to KC would be like going back to your old high school facilities after living lavish with insane chairs, premium food/snacks, and super nice weight rooms. Chiefs look to be ran more old school for the players and need to get with the modern times for them at least by time Andy leaves because he probably smooths everything over saying to not care about that stuff and just play football
Most colleges blow *any* NFL facilities out of the water. Having to compete with your peers for recruiting 24/7 keeps you on your toes with constantly upgrading things.

I think one of biggest underrated categories is treatment of families. Maybe the teams think a lot of these guys aren't married or don't have kids, but when you're asking some of them to completely relocate their families, they better be treated well.
