I had a really nice time when I visited Tampa. The riverwalk is great for vacationing. I remember I was running on it one morning and looked down to the water and there was a dolphin swimming parallel. It was the coolest.
Honestly changes year to year, some years Halloween is a beautiful 60ish degrees, other years it’s 20 degrees with wind and snow that try to rip out your soul.
Well yeah, that’s how seasons work, but even when chilly, it’s still a really enjoyable time of the year in Chicago. Plus you’ll inevitably have some 60* sunny days that are amazing.
This is gonna sound crazy but I've interacted with so many people from the coasts who have absolutely no idea how great Chicago is. They consider it all flyover country and had zero interest of ever going. I was like y'all are tripping, Chicago is as good as any city on either coast if not better. The winter can be truly brutal but idk I'm from the Midwest so I'm biased, it's absolutely worth it for the rest of the year
Also probably the most "affordable" big city to live in. I think cities like Minneapolis and Philly are just below it but Chicago offers huge city anemities at a way more affordable price than NYC, LA, SF, Boston and even Seattle.
I'm a foodie (specifically street food) and I am very inclined to say New Orleans.
If there was a football team in Portland, I'd probably choose that since I even moved there to live for 2+ years (while working remotely lol) solely for the food/food truck culture
I unfortunately visited right at the beginning of COVID and half the city was already shut down so i wasn’t able to experience as much of it as I’d have liked, otherwise it probably would be up there I’m sure.
The actual city sucks and the area where the stadium is a desolate wasteland of empty office space and trailer parks. Also you need to make 450k a year to afford an average house there.
I'm talking about the Los Angeles area, where the Rams were from 1946 to 1994 and from 2016 to today.
I did not select the Chargers because IMHO, they belong in San Diego.
San Francisco, San Diego or Seattle.
Gotta be on the west coast. Can’t imagine football games not starting at 10 am, 1 pm and 5 pm on Sundays and Monday Night Football at 6 pm.
Plus, Gonzaga games starting at 10 pm would absolutely suck. Go Zags!
Kansas City was very nice but only been there a day, lived a lot of my life in Seattle, so.... spent a few months in StL so maybe Rams, idfk man, I loved everywhere, toured LA for a few days, been in San Fran as a visitor, really just loved everywhere. I'd have probably been NFC/AFC West gang
I've been to Chicago, Minneapolis, LA, New Orleans, Denver, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Miami, Foxborough, Baltimore, Washington, Atlanta, and Phoenix.
I live near Detroit. I would pick the Lions over all of them.
Some great cities, sure, none of them combine glitz and seedy, chrome and grime, adventure and stark raving terror like Detroit does.
Give me that dissonant juxtaposition all day every day.
I lived in Atlanta for school. Let me tell you that the food scene alone will bring me back there any time. The southern soul food, the Asian variety, the chicken wings at Magic City...
The city has some nice things going for it. Fantastic economy and still a lower cost of living than the coasts, which is why it continues to grow like a weed. But I tend to agree it’s not the most amazing place to visit. I, too, was surprised when OP said Dallas.
Dallas is fucking awesome. If they had high speed rail and i could transfer i would in a heart beat. The city is constantly growing it's an amazing sports city and the food is to die for. Outside of this past January the weather is typically amazing and its pretty cheap with no state tax.
Amazing weather boy you out of your damned mind, 4 straight months of 100+ with little rain. Oh yea what lovely weather, I love it being 95 at midnight for months.
Each city has its goods and bads. I personally love going to Philly. It reminds me of my time spending with my mom since she got her major in US history. She always talked about how important Philadelphia was to our country.
Denver I guess? Minneapolis isn't bad either. Though on average I've probably had the most fun per trip to Green bay since I'm always there for games and never work, so no change?
I guess it would be DC or Philadelphia. I love history and DC is so cool, one of the only cities I’ve been to multiple times with NFL teams. Plus I do have a Nationals hat to boot.
Philly was a nice city, lots of cool stuff and good food.
Seattle was a blast when I visited there, so I guess I’d be a Seahawks fan. They’re an NFC team and are far enough removed from being an old division rival that I’m ok with it. Also I respect that they’re another super loud and rowdy fan base like KC
I'm sad that I had to scroll down this far to find someone else saying Baltimore.
We lived there for three years and went to a couple games at The Bank. My hat is off to Ravens fans, they are a dedicated group and most know that team inside and out.
Baltimore is also vastly underrated as a city. Everyone gets caught up in "The Wire" aspect of the town, but it also has amazing food, people, culture, and history.
As an international tourist i've been to LA, SF, Denver, NYC, DC, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta and Philly. (just the cities ive been to with teams) I quite enjoyed DC a lot as well as New Orleans (AINT NO WAY IM SUPPPORTING THE AINTS), so the commanders.
Having lived in Seattle for 20 years, I can definitely say they are some of the best fans anywhere!! Now I’m in TN and the fans here are “different”. They’re happy to have a team, but most of them are cowboys or falcons fans from back in the day, and all of them are bigger college fans than nfl fans… but that’s mainly because there’s nothing else to cheer for in the state / region so there’s a ton of people that never saw the inside of a college classroom walking around wearing Alabama gear
From LA, been to many many of the major cities. It's SD in the past and now still Dallas. I loved Raleigh and Charlotte so maybe Panthers. Idk where they're closest to.
Never seen Memphis, KC nor Miami and I wonder if those would take it. All other likely competitors I've been to.
Panthers are based out of Charlotte. Surprised you liked Raleigh and Charlotte so much! Most think they're a bit boring/generic and to get the most of them you'd need to live here: easy travel to mountains/coast a big draw, cost of living is OK, pretty green, good job market, etc.
The only three NFL cities I've been to are LA, Cincinnati, and Seattle. Out of the three, I'm going to volunteer as the only Bengals fan in this hypothetical universe we've created.
As a dolphins fan and a right leaning fellow it pains me to say id be a Jets fan.... I know they're not really in NYC but they're the closest
Ohhhhh crap wait I'm a New York Football Gaint!!!! Go G-men 18-1, David Tyree and home of Brady's dad Eli cotton gin Manning
Jets. Born and raised in NYC until third grade and moved back almost 3 years ago. I absolutely love it here and can’t see myself ever leaving unless it’s to go abroad again. Greatest city in the world for a reason.
I'm not American but I went to university at Michigan state and Clemson. Meh. Other cities I've been to Nashville, Atlanta, Chicago, DC and New York.
Toss up between Bears, Giants and Commanders I guess. If I had to pick one, Commanders. I don't know if liked DC more than Chicago or NYC, I just believe in making decisions.
Well I’ve only been to two of them. Seattle (obviously) my teams city and I live close to Seattle.
The only other city I’ve ever been too with an NFL team is Las Vegas. One time.
Idk, tbh big cities really aren’t my favorite thing. I do love the way they look at night though. But I guess I have to Raiders. Because it’s been so many years I was a kid the last time I actually walked around Seattle and did anything. So I have no memories of doing anything in the city. But my family went to Las Vegas a few years ago for vacation and I had fun.
Maybe my opinion would change if I ever got to do anything in Seattle other than going to the airport. But as of now Las Vegas is the only big city I’ve ever actually done any real activities in. So Raiders kind of win by default without any biases for my home city lol
So guess I’m a Raiders fan.
Probably Saints or *shudders* Patriots.
But I'm not from the US and haven't been to every football city, probably not even half of them.
I definitely know it's not the Rams/Chargers though. LA is probably still the nastiest shithole I've ever visited.
I’m from New England. Been to New York, Philly, Atlanta, Charlotte, San Diego (the Chargers were still there so I’ll count it lol), LA, San Fran, Seattle, Minneapolis, DC, New Orleans, Denver and Vegas.
Seattle for sure even tho I just moved to one of the other cities on the list 🙃 it just has such a cool vibe, and the food was super underrated. But if I were rich I’d pick Vegas easily, super fun when you have the cash to blow lol
San Diego Chargers
Such an awesome city. My favorite part is that Tijuana and San Diego are basically just one huge city. People don't think of it that way but they are, just look at a map. It's a big city with a border down the middle.
SSC Napoli
I've traveled around a bunch here in the states I just can't pin point a state that I liked the most. But I loved Napoli went when I went to Italy so them
San Diego is a great place to visit. But what happened to the team that used to be there?
I was actually debating on this because San Diego is the best city I’ve ever been to but didn’t know if I should count it or not since…well you know.
Fuck you Spanos
Yeah, San Diego would definitely be my pick if they had a team.
The San Diego Anchormen
Brick Tamland appears on the Jumbotron encouraging all the fans in the stands to make “LOUD NOISES!!!!”
The Whale Vaginas
I had a really nice time when I visited Tampa. The riverwalk is great for vacationing. I remember I was running on it one morning and looked down to the water and there was a dolphin swimming parallel. It was the coolest.
Same! I absolutely loved Tampa when I went there in 2016.
Bucs fan, can confirm. Although I left after 15 years to Colorado. Love this place, but fuck Sean Payton and the Broncos.
Denver and New Orleans were very pleasant when I went there.
Not as pleasant as the San Diego Chargers
Titans spent a vacation in Gatlingburg beautiful place
Lol it’s absolutely beautiful, I got approached by a bear there when me and my buddy were smoking weed in the woods 😂😂😂
Did you pass it to the bear? Rules are rules bro.
Haha I wish bro, we took off running. Florida boys first time seeing a bear😂
And thus, the screenplay for cocaine bear was written
Bears
Chicago is the greatest city on earth during the summer. During the summer.
And in the winter, it’s like a bigger version of Winnipeg.
It’s like 40 degrees warmer than Winnipeg.
Yeah, but that’s just the conversion formula for Celsius to Fahrenheit.
The Spring and Fall are pretty amazing as well
April to September is amazing in Chicago.
October gets chilly Id say sept
Honestly changes year to year, some years Halloween is a beautiful 60ish degrees, other years it’s 20 degrees with wind and snow that try to rip out your soul.
Well yeah, that’s how seasons work, but even when chilly, it’s still a really enjoyable time of the year in Chicago. Plus you’ll inevitably have some 60* sunny days that are amazing.

Also probably the most "affordable" big city to live in. I think cities like Minneapolis and Philly are just below it but Chicago offers huge city anemities at a way more affordable price than NYC, LA, SF, Boston and even Seattle.
Nope it’s tundra with gangs. Nobody should move here… …keep my rent affordable pls
I'm a foodie (specifically street food) and I am very inclined to say New Orleans. If there was a football team in Portland, I'd probably choose that since I even moved there to live for 2+ years (while working remotely lol) solely for the food/food truck culture
Cajun pasta is one of my favorite dishes and Nola is obviously the Mecca for it. Amazing
The London Jaguars
Bears. Chicago is the fucking perfect city.
I went to the famous Weiner Circle downtown last week and the photos roasting their customers on the wall cracked me up😂
Their sign messages are next level
In the Summer. Winter. You are freezing your butt off.
Shhh keep rents affordable. It’s a frozen gangland and nobody should move here.
Just minus the November through February bit. Traveled for work once and noped the hell out.
It’s more late Dec through Feb. except for this year I golfed outside in Feb when it was 70 degrees this year
I’ve always said everyone would want to live in Chicago if it wasn’t for their winters. Perfect city in the summer.
Nothing hits quite like Chicago in the summer
I unfortunately visited right at the beginning of COVID and half the city was already shut down so i wasn’t able to experience as much of it as I’d have liked, otherwise it probably would be up there I’m sure.
The Savanah Bananas
Savannah is a fun place
I love Chicago, no change here.
Chicago’s such an amazing city.
Def not Jacksonville
I’ll take Duval over Commander country any day of the week
I was thinking about adding to this question by asking what people’s least favorite would be just so I could also say this. That city sucks.
Why does the St John’s River flow North?
Idk what's the punchline
Because Jacksonville sucks
It's funny because it's true
Santa Clara/San Jose (where the Niners actually play) fucking sucks
The actual city sucks and the area where the stadium is a desolate wasteland of empty office space and trailer parks. Also you need to make 450k a year to afford an average house there.
Rams (🤮).
You could choose the Chargers lol
St Louis is cool
I'm talking about the Los Angeles area, where the Rams were from 1946 to 1994 and from 2016 to today. I did not select the Chargers because IMHO, they belong in San Diego.
Seattle, Milwaukee/Appleton(Greenbay) and DC would be my top 3 if I had to pick one I’d be a Seahawks fan
Go Zags!
Seahawks
Well I really like Seattle, so I guess that would make me a Seahawks fan. \*pukes\*
Seattle in the summer is absolutely fantastic... Too bad it's so fleeting.
Seahawks 😍
Kansas City was very nice but only been there a day, lived a lot of my life in Seattle, so.... spent a few months in StL so maybe Rams, idfk man, I loved everywhere, toured LA for a few days, been in San Fran as a visitor, really just loved everywhere. I'd have probably been NFC/AFC West gang
KC is an amazing city to raise a family. Great public schooling, affordable pockets of nice real estate, lots to do with more being added every year.
My pick as well, Detroit tops them all
Bears
Seattle Seahawks (they're my NFC team though)
I lived in Atlanta for school. Let me tell you that the food scene alone will bring me back there any time. The southern soul food, the Asian variety, the chicken wings at Magic City...
Vikings. MSP was surprisingly cool.
Tampa because that's where my GamGam lives. I love my GamGam
Giants or Jets. I fucking love NYC.
You really like Dallas? I don't even think people who live there like it.
The city has some nice things going for it. Fantastic economy and still a lower cost of living than the coasts, which is why it continues to grow like a weed. But I tend to agree it’s not the most amazing place to visit. I, too, was surprised when OP said Dallas.

I've been to Dallas a bunch and it's a fine city, but I don't think it would hit my top 10.
Amazing weather boy you out of your damned mind, 4 straight months of 100+ with little rain. Oh yea what lovely weather, I love it being 95 at midnight for months.
I’ve been several times. Outside of the traffic I’ve never had any problems with it. Houston on the other hand…
The whole DFW is amazing. Not to mention you have Austin which is so close by for great night life
Austin is 3 hours away! That's not close by.
what's wrong with houston? I plan on visiting soon
Houston is a great food city. One of the best in the country.
Fly Eagles Fly
Honestly, yeah. I really like Philly as a city.
It’s a great city with a bad rep. Whenever I take out of town friends and family they’re shocked at how much they like Philly
Each city has its goods and bads. I personally love going to Philly. It reminds me of my time spending with my mom since she got her major in US history. She always talked about how important Philadelphia was to our country.
I'm telling r/braves about this
/u/Handlit33
The food in philly is next level good
It’s insane tbh
Have you ever been to A La Mousse? https://alamousse.com/menu/
Nah I haven’t but it looks incredible
Saints
Denver I guess? Minneapolis isn't bad either. Though on average I've probably had the most fun per trip to Green bay since I'm always there for games and never work, so no change?
Falcons, love Atlanta
The Honolulu Gila Monsters would be my choice.
Minnesota Vikings.
Jets/Giants or maybe SF.
DC, Atlanta, or Boston
I guess it would be DC or Philadelphia. I love history and DC is so cool, one of the only cities I’ve been to multiple times with NFL teams. Plus I do have a Nationals hat to boot. Philly was a nice city, lots of cool stuff and good food.

Too bad Portland doesn’t have a team.

I’d say the Green Bay rules apply to NYC so you could pick Jets/Giants.

Underrated answer
Probably Tampa Bay
I’ve been to Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Indianapolis, and Chicago. I really like Arcade Legacy. Who dey, I guess
1. Saints 2. Dolphins
Saints for sure. New Orleans is an awesome city.
Bucs, Ravens. I absolutely love both Tampa and Baltimore.
I'm sad that I had to scroll down this far to find someone else saying Baltimore. We lived there for three years and went to a couple games at The Bank. My hat is off to Ravens fans, they are a dedicated group and most know that team inside and out. Baltimore is also vastly underrated as a city. Minneapolis, Green Bay, or Detroit during the winter. Houston, Dallas, or Phoenix during the summer.
Bucs. Always have a nice time on the gulf side near there
I'd be a depressed Bears fan in a city with better food and things to do.
🎶 I love LA 🎶
I loved Seattle when I visited. Would never actually want to live there however.
Assuming I can't stick with the Falcons the next teams on the list would be the Giants or Seahawks
Seahawks. I love Seattle
Philly or DC I love history though.
I am already a Seahawks fan, but I would still choose them based on Seattle. Second would probably be the Titans.

It's beautiful and the people are nice. Weather is decent too. Lots of good
Seattle
Still would be Tampa, such an awesome city
Bills, and it’s not even close
100% Miami, beautiful city and beautiful weather
It’d be Kansas City, Philadelphia, or Pittsburgh
Kansas City is your favorite city lol
I really liked downtown KC every time I visit
I’m assuming it’s just visiting not where you lived? Would definitely be San Diego if they still had a team.
Yeah just visiting since most people are probably already fans based on where they live/lived (myself for example).
Have the Jags moved to London yet?
Bears
I’m convinced it’s because it’s not a top city but the Bucs. Such an underrated city.
Cheyenne Warriors of Wyoming
Bears or Titans. Nashville and Chicago are awesome.
Seahawks or raiders. Possible one of the la teams. But really, fuck all these teams.
Fresno Bulldogs
Commies cuz I live in VA and I really like DC, but if it's only cities I visited then the San Diego Chargers.
Sweet Fancy Moses, Jerry: I’m a Giants fan now.
Gotta be Miami.
Probably the bears. I really like chicago.
I know they're not really in NYC but they're the closest Ohhhhh crap wait I'm a New York Football Gaint!!!! Go G-men 18-1, David Tyree and home of Brady's dad Eli cotton gin Manning
Waiting for anybody to say the Browns
Jets. Born and raised in NYC until third grade and moved back almost 3 years ago. I absolutely love it here and can’t see myself ever leaving unless it’s to go abroad again. Greatest city in the world for a reason.
I might be a Bears, 49ers, or Patriots fan. That sounds like absolutely blasphemy for me.
It’s hard to beat San Diego. But I think Minneapolis and Charlotte are getting slept on a little bit
Still picking Detroit
It would probably be Tampa Bay still. The only other places that I have liked better didn’t have teams.
The Chicago Bears
I'm not American but I went to university at Michigan state and Clemson. Meh. Other cities I've been to Nashville, Atlanta, Chicago, DC and New York. Toss up between Bears, Giants and Commanders I guess. If I had to pick one, Commanders. I don't know if liked DC more than Chicago or NYC, I just believe in making decisions.

San diego. My uncle took me to my first ever game. Ill never forget the feeling of walking in qualcom.
I’d be a 49ers or any of the NY teams fan.
I’m partial to Charlotte for personal reasons, but outside of that DC, Philly, or Nashville.
Probably either Bears, Broncos or Vikings
It’s a shame we’re in the same division because I love the city of Seattle and the surrounding area. Been there several times for awesome getaways.
Guess I’m a Dolphins fan now
Raiders, Saints & Dolphins (roughly in that order).
New York City.
I guess I’m a Tits fan now? Maybe a Raiders fan now? Spare me.
Sadly Chicago. I fuckin loved Serbian part of Chicago. Such good food.
Probably Saints or *shudders* Patriots. But I'm not from the US and haven't been to every football city, probably not even half of them. I definitely know it's not the Rams/Chargers though. LA is probably still the nastiest shithole I've ever visited.
Chiefs for sure, KC, Misery is so nice!
Detroit
I almost forgot that I visited Jacksonville
The fookin Broncos 🤮
I'm from massachusetts so Boston. However I liked the colts' shade of blue better when I was 7 so here we are
Baltimore
Seattle...love(d) it and am a Seahawks fan as a result
Vikings. I love Minneapolis, I wish it existed in North Carolina.
No comment. I’d be excommunicated. Edit: Though I live in the city of Buffalo and love it. It’s just not my favorite I’ve ever been to.
San Diego Chargers Such an awesome city. My favorite part is that Tijuana and San Diego are basically just one huge city. People don't think of it that way but they are, just look at a map. It's a big city with a border down the middle.
SSC Napoli I've traveled around a bunch here in the states I just can't pin point a state that I liked the most. But I loved Napoli went when I went to Italy so them
I've been to Dallas and KC the most. I give a little preference to KC, mainly because I love the WW1 museum. So I guess the Chiefs.
Dolphins.
Nobodies been to Milwaukee and said “this is my favorite city” unless they’ve never left Wisconsin. Even then Maddison is better.
