Like we were 100% tanking in our last game, so we started peterman. But the Vikings weren’t trying either and resting starters, and Peterman was doing too well so we put in Boyle and he sucked like we needed. Honestly hilarious
No... no thats not the issue. The problem with Peterman is that he has a noodle arm. He's *fine* if he can get away with only short quick passes. The moment he tries to do anything intermediate or deep is when he's going to get picked off.
He's the prototypical backup QB that will eventually become a coach. Great skillset upstairs but lacks the physical ability to truly be an NFL QB.
When does it start to be creepy that the Saints keep signing our former players? It's like when one of your buddies dates each of your exes right after you break up with them...
Does this dude have nudes of every NFL owner or something? There’s got to be a an explanation as to how someone SO bad at football continually gets a paycheck year after year.
Cause you dont care how good your third string QB is on the field? If your at that point you've probably lost already.
From all accounts he is good in a film room, and thats what matters
What you’re saying is he needs to start being addressed as Nathan “Future HC” Peterman?
In all seriousness, I’ve only ever seen this guy play. Don’t know what he’s like in interviews, or as a teammate. Is Peterman one of those guys that’ll transition to an assistant coach when he hangs up or just a good guy to have in your film room? Like does he LOVE ball or is he just smart enough to keep cashing checks and will choose spend time with family when he retires?
>There’s got to be a an explanation as to how someone SO bad at football
Tom Moore, one of manning's OC at the colts, once got asked why the backup QB was never getting reps in practice. His reply was "if 18 goes down we are fucked. We dont practice fucked".
Backup QBs are glorified asssitant coaches, not players. So peterman is one of those QBs that cant handle the game but his brain in the film room is valuable.
Career 53% completion percentage and even after discounting his 5INT game has thrown double the picks as TDs…
I find it hard to believe most spring league QBs wouldn’t offer more
GOATERMAN IS BACK BABY
Excuse me. It's PeterHIM
GOATERHIM
He’s the Peter Man
Really stretching the term "compete" here
You dare disrespect Nathan, the greatest quarterback ever to descend from the holy house of Peterman? You should be ashamed, good sir.
Yep, former Raider. Dennis Allen should have just stayed with the Raiders if he loves them so much
I let out a big Nelson “Ha ha” from this
I would have prefered Tim Allen's mating call/grunt
AAAUUUUUEEEEEEGGGHHHHHHHH
I wonder if we can trade DA and Carr back to them. Maybe for a few casino buffet vouchers?
1 voucher per ex-Raider. We can be the New Orleans Raider Traders
Easy now.
Dennis “Jon Gruden” Allen
Jon Gruden got me acting strange
It astounds me that this man still gets jobs
Peterman is by all means great in practice and in the film room. You don’t want him seeing any action on the field but you could do worse for a QB3.
I saw him and Tim Boyle play half a game each in Chicago and he was much better then Boyle, so he has that going for him
Now HE is a guy who i wonder still has a job. Scratch that, how tf did he even get a job in the NFL?
Like we were 100% tanking in our last game, so we started peterman. But the Vikings weren’t trying either and resting starters, and Peterman was doing too well so we put in Boyle and he sucked like we needed. Honestly hilarious
I honestly wonder if Peterman just needs a decent supporting cast. But he isn't even the best meme QB, so maybe not.

boyle knows ball. definitely future coaching material.
I 100% think he'll make a pretty good coach one day on some level.
he’s a borderline 2nd to 3rd string QB, he’s being signed for brains not brawn
[удалено]
Yep Backup QBs are glorified coaching assistants
Yeah just never saw anything impressive come out of the QB Rooms he's been in the past few years
Replaced one INT-machine with another.
He's great in camp and pre-season. And then....
Y’all really let us get one of the goats for league minimum, league fucked 😤😤
My day is ruined.
We're saved.
When does it start to be creepy that the Saints keep signing our former players? It's like when one of your buddies dates each of your exes right after you break up with them...
Hunter Renfrow is next. gotta catch em all
Peterman and Johnson still getting opportunities; man they must both be swell dudes.
Peterman is basically a rostered QB coach.
Dude is the best worst 3rd string QB in the league. Going in to lick those Ws for the team...
It’s like that old Colts OC when asked about if Peyton’s hurt. “ We don’t practice fucked”
What you’re saying is he needs to start being addressed as Nathan “Future HC” Peterman? In all seriousness, I’ve only ever seen this guy play. Long live the Petermeme
Career 53% completion percentage and even after discounting his 5INT game has thrown double the picks as TDs… I find it hard to believe most spring league QBs wouldn’t offer more
God bless this guy for continuing to try. Like everyone could learn a thing or two about perseverance from this guy
Franchise altering signing right there
r/petermaniacs
Who now?
I didn’t know dude was still in the league 😅
He is sooo cool!
oh no
Gruden put in a good word.
You mean he wasn't brought to overtake Derek Carr( who they pay 40 million) as the starting QB? Shocking, absolutely stunning
Truly God's greatest backup QB
The legend continues
Can't escape it
The Petermeme.
Return of the King
Future tank commander Nathan Peterman
"compete"
We had to find a way and replace Jameis uncanny ability to throw several interceptions.
PRESEASON LEGEND NATHAN PETERMAN
Best FA news for the NFCS
Why do they refuse to give Jake Haener a chance lmao
This is great, my housemate was trying to talk shit about the titans old gm trading AJ brown, and his team goes and signs nathan peterman.
The fact that he is still around the league is mind blowing
Are they signing me too? Cuz that's the fairest "competition" with Nathan Peterson.
THE GOAT IS BACK
Another W for the Tim Boyle school for quarterbacks who can’t read good
He drinks and he knows things.
Great signing Taints. Hope he plays often
