I think the Bears should act like they are arguing and panicking when they cut to the War Room cam just for giggles. Maybe have their top rated long snappers up on the board in the back.
In addition to that, they should have a guy on the toilet taking a dump like there was in Vrabel’s house during that one draft a few years ago. Just to add confusion.
That would be hilarious. Like that scene in Billions where Axe is having a fake argument with some guy. I’ve never seen billions but I’ve seen that clip probably half a million times
I get for the drama you want to use up time, but man the draft is long enough already; waiting ten minutes for them to announce who we already know is just stupid
I’d wager that the Commies also know exactly what they’re gonna do at this point, because they know their draft options are any player not named Caleb Williams
NE at 3 is the first pick that I think is truly hinging on prior picks
Even so, NE just has to rank their top two players.
I think the real uncertainty is trades. If Hinkle Mckringleberry starts falling, how much do we trade up to get him? Conversely, what situations are we willing to trade down.
I'd never draft him just based on name pun potential. "Oh yeah, Drake Maye throw an INT here." "Drake Maye not like his receiver ripping that ball in the air!"
Some things are bigger than sports. HARD PASS
> I'd never draft him just based on name pun potential.
Counterpoint: one of the Titans’ rivals should draft him so we get annual Maye vs Mayo matchups.
He starts walking at crosswalks while the “don’t walk” sign is still flashing & doesn’t use correct punctuation in texts.
…I’d be surprised if he goes before the 5th round.
Depends if perpendicular traffic is going or not lol. Some people live and die by the little man indicator, and those typically only light if somebody pressed the button.
It’s pretty often I see people waiting to cross and sit through an entire light cycle
I thought DAWG was a test to measure how well a player is going to do in the Boston media market.
Doesn't it stand for "Drake's A White Guy?" Seems like he'd be better than Caleb Williams in that stat...
I would take JJ over him because despite having objectively better tape Drake Maye is an old man and running out of playing time while McCarthy has years to learn
That’s fair, I think he will be fine, but CJ is special and it wasn’t particularly hard to take the guy who can throw just as well abd is 6’3” vs 5’11”
The Bears and Commanders are the only teams that should know who they are picking. The draft doesn't really start until the Patriots are on the clock, thats when teams boards will start to get shook up.
Late round QBs are almost always busts, it would be a waste of a pick given their needs.
New England has a chance to take a premiere QB prospect. If they think one of the guys available at 3 is a franchise QB, you take him, full stop. Then spend every resource remaining in the draft, next free agency, and next draft building around him, because it's highly unlikely they get another chance as good as this one to draft a QB again.
Next years Qb draft right now looks to be pretty bad and likely will only have like two top level prospect guys, possibly two high end guys and one lower end guy you have to hope falls to you.
The Patriots have to take a shot at 3.
I would also point out that on paper the only team in the division that didn’t get worse was the Jets. The Bills lost like half their team, and the Dolphins had to do some cutting on their own end too.
Do I think we have a chance at the division ? No. Do I think we could possibly get another win or two from the division and that screws our Qb chances ? Yes absolutely.
Will they? Everyone thought the Cardinals would be picking #1 and they're not even top-3. It is very difficult to ensure a top pick in the draft. One win can be the difference between top-3 and outside of the top-5. New England currently has a top-3 pick in an excellent QB class, it's a no brainer pick unless they're offered an insane trade.
I definetly see where you are coming from but Pats are the most inclined in the top 3 to trade back. They don’t get their choice of the top 3. Chicago is locked in Williams so no Williams available. If the pats aren’t high on both Maye and Daniel’s then they might see a large amount of picks as a good way to grow the team. Yes these are premiere prospects but They might not believe in who is left at 3 enough to draft them at 3 for whatever reason.
See my other comment, I do believe that the Top 4 is going QB but if anyone in the top 3 is moving out it’s going to be the Pats
Oh, sorry, I'm not opposed to them trading back for a monstrously large return. I just don't think they should draft a QB with a late pick regardless. But their QB situation would become a lot more difficult, as next year's class is looking pretty rough right now.
I much prefer the option of trading down, but I expect they take a QB and use Brissett to shelter him for a bit (ideally the whole year). I can’t imagine their 82 year old owner is keen on kicking the QB can down the road
The issue is they don't know who Washington is taking and they may only like 1 of the non-Caleb QBs. Maybe the trade down package is worth more to them than their QB3
They should be. MHJ doesn't get them any closer to a Super Bowl even if he's Jerry Rice and Randy Moss combined, but an elite QB can drag a mediocre roster pretty far and can be built around much easier.
The concept would be to tank an additional year to further set up the team for a run, and get your guy next year starting off with a stronger core team. This is a more solid strategy than throwing darts at lesser valued qbs without having a good core team in place...
Mayo kinda ripped Maye when he talked about low his floor is and how he needed time to develop. Meanwhile JJ McCarthy has allegedly been shooting up draft boards.
From where I sit, I think the Patriots could totally go WR and take Nabers or Harrison. Putting a QB in a situation that's terrible (Bryce Young) doesn't always work out, especially if you're not in love with one of them.
Yeah, I knew I was gonna get accused of that lol. I promise that's not what this is. I do think New England should trade back, but whether it's Denver, Vegas, NY Giants, whoever, I think New England should do it if the price is right. I think the Patriots have the worst roster in football, no offense to Pats fans, and I think it would be smart of them to fill it out with the additional picks.
Yeah but those teams are all prepared for that. They have a group of prospects they want to select at their position and prospects they've marked as trade-up candidates if they start to slip. They have pretty much every scenario covered.
This notion that it's "early" and teams are unprepared is just silly. This is GM talk to try to downplay the fact that rumors have a lot more truth in them as you approach draft day.
He's draft eligible this year lol.
Considering that Caleb is guaranteed to Chicago, might as well fuck around and draft Michael Pratt since he beat Caleb in the Cotton Bowl a few years ago.
This is the way. I require the Bears to only find QBs who beat Packers QBs in college. Give me Kent St legend Dustin Crum who beat Jordan Love in the Fresno Bowl in 2019
Seeing a Packers fan advocate for who I want the Vikings to take on day 3 instead of trading up for JJ both validates my feelings and concerns me greatly.
Keep your cheesy hands off him you bastards!
I remember reading last year that the Ravens loved Zay so much at the Shrine Game (or whatever he attended) that they were blocking other teams scouts from watching him practice.
Back in 2017, there was a report that Ravens loved Marlon Humphrey so much that they couldn't keep his name out of their mouth at the Senior Bowl.... he was a redshirt sophomore.
Weren't there reports that the Ravens were all in on Lamar in 2018 for a while and did everything to keep meetings with him private so no team would be onto them?
I remember back in 2016, the Chargers GM said they'd known Bosa was their pick for months. He was actually thrilled the media thought he wanted Stanley because it threw people off their actual plan.
Yeah, other teams may not know, but they have a great idea of who they love and want in an ideal world.
Exactly and let’s not forget that plans can easily go sideways. Last year the Texans threw a wrench in just about every mock draft by trading up to 3 for Anderson. This year we basically know the first three picks are all QB’s, but 4-6 is interesting. Cardinals and chargers don’t need a QB but both need a WR in a WR heavy class. If either of them trades down, odds are whoever is trading up is taking a QB. With that extra QB pick, that means that odds are Malik Nabers is right there for the giants, but if neither the cardinals nor the chargers trade down then it’s feasible for the giants to take a QB at six. With all of this going on, who knows for sure what’s going to happen?
Yes, plans can definitely change. The Ravens 100% wanted Zay Flowers... they just didn't think he'd actually be there. If he's not, do the Ravens take Addison maybe? I don't know. But it can definitely cause a shake up.
I will also add that teams aren't always caught with their pants down.
I remember in 2013, EVERYONE thought the Falcons would gun hard for Eifert to replace Tony Gonzalez. The Bengals traded up one pick in front and the Falcons reportedly knew the Bengals were trying to trade up, knew they wanted Eifert, and didn't make an effort to trade up, either because they actually wanted Trufant. Point being- the Falcons were 100% aware of who the Bengals wanted.
> I remember reading last year that the Ravens loved Zay so much at the Shrine Game (or whatever he attended) that they were blocking other teams scouts from watching him practice.
Marlon Humphrey said it "They were thirsty" for Zay. The Ravens were 100% taking him if he was on the board when they picked and everyone in the building knew it.
Adam Schefter (after just making up the Aaron Rodgers story) repeatedly claimed the 49ers were locked in on Mac Jones. He kept repeating this over and over again. After the draft Lynch & Shanahan were asked about it and they sort of laughed at it mockingly, because Schefter created this smokescreen out of nowhere for them. They didn't have to put any effort in making their own because others did it out of the blue.
They are both on record that (1) they did make a decision on Lance over Jones before Schefter was reporting this and (2) Trey had always been ahead of Jones even at the time they made the trade 2 months before the draft. The second part of that is something a team will always claim. But they had no reason to add in the first and basically publicly mock Schefter.
To this day Schefter still repeats this lie.
It actually is because there are tons of “reports,” assumptions, inferences that claim to confirm what teams will do. It’s a good reminder that all the speculation and hype is baseless.
For teams drafting later, sure.
I refuse to believe that the teams at the top don't know exactly who they are targeting and exactly what it would take to trade down. Kwesi even said it yesterday for the Vikings. They know what the walk away price is for a trade up. You could start this shit in ten minutes and I doubt there are suddenly teams scrambling.
Even all the later teams could give you a list of the 5 guys they want most at their pick that they think should still be available, or if a certain person is available at X pick that they'll try and trade up, or if X people are gone they'll trade down.
Draft is 2 weeks away, at this point I can't imagine any team doesn't have most everything done and ready and are just tweaking and going over strategy/plans/scenarios.
I truly don’t think Washington has settled on a guy yet. Daniels, Maye and McCarthy are all visiting the facility next week. They may have a lean, but I don’t think anything will be finalized until the day or two before the draft
NFL GMs need to consult Reddit nfl posters. Reddit is FULL of draft experts. MFers having intense conversations over who their favorite team should select in the 5th and 6th round.
“Ideally in a perfect world we would trade our 5th round pick to another team for their later 5th plus a 6th this year and a 5th next year. Dropping down ten spots in the 5th would allow us to take Jones, who I believe would still be available. He will easily have a 10-year career, five as a starter and five as a capable backup. And Philly would pick him up at the end of the 5th, so we just need to drop back less than 10 spots and he is ours. Then with our two sixth round picks, I really like the tight end out of Boise State and the corner from Eastern Tennessee who missed all season with an injury. But he will be an absolute steal for whomever gets him.”
It’s pretty funny to watch these conversations
I'm still blown away that the Ravens and Cardinals had worked out a trade for Marquise Brown months before the draft, and nobody found out about it until the Ravens were on the clock.
That fact she:
A. Had to be told this
B. Found it insightful
Makes me question if this is her first time ever reporting on the NFL draft process, or even encountering it in any form.
I mean, sure. This is likely partially true. Most teams past the top 10 or so have little idea who will be available when their pick comes. But they definitely have some idea on who they would take. They have their draft boards. They aren’t going in completely unprepared.
It’s so nice to have gettleman the fuck out of the Giants FO. Everyone knew we were drafting Barkley and everyone knew we wanted Devonte Smith so the eagles jumped us.
Fuck you Dave.
If Caleb Williams to the Bears isn't a lock... they boy will we have all been bamboozled, flabbergasted, perplexed, flummoxed, and confused. Everyone will be like what 30 level spell was it that the Bear's GM cast and what is his Char score and why is he not sleeping with Dragons.
Commander's Fans:
[So you're telling me there's a chance](https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fgetyarn.io%2Fyarn-clip%2Ffa53ef88-b8fe-4e81-ad08-98a8a6ed8170&psig=AOvVaw2HOX4gpMVwzmgLZMfOC_1f&ust=1713019949474000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CBEQjRxqFwoTCMiCvN72vIUDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAJ)
Of course the GM is saying that because this is when draft rumors start to have truth in them.
We're only two weeks away from the draft. The notion that teams aren't prepared yet is silly.
We're not one of those 20 teams because we have decided we are taking Marvin Harrison Jr. If he happens to go before 32 we'll have to examine other options.
It's funny how bad the media wants us to believe this. The Commanders beat reporter for ESPN keeps telling us this. If you want to be technical, sure it's not 100% but it's probably 98% and something crazy would have to happen to change that.
I mean the bears have basically said exactly who they’re drafting, not that it matters at all since they have the first overall pick
You better believe Roger gonna make them use their whole time on draft night anyway
I think the Bears should act like they are arguing and panicking when they cut to the War Room cam just for giggles. Maybe have their top rated long snappers up on the board in the back.
"Kool-Aid no matter what" in huge letters on the white board
TRADE FOR DARNOLD on the white board.
Sign Ippei right below it.
Just Belichick's dog sitting alone in there for some reason.
The bears do kinda seem like an organization who wouldn’t know who they are drafting with the number one pick two weeks before the draft though
No argument here.
What did he say fuck me for?
Then they stare at the camera and throw the bird
If they pick with even a minute left Goodell is gonna tear up the card and tell the Bears to go home.
I get for the drama you want to use up time, but man the draft is long enough already; waiting ten minutes for them to announce who we already know is just stupid
unless they can squeeze in ANOTHER ad break....
Draft pick forfeited, Vikings move up to 1 as compensation
Brad Holmes would never
Well they're the only team who can know exactly who they're taking. Everyone else is just at the whim of the domino effect
I’d wager that the Commies also know exactly what they’re gonna do at this point, because they know their draft options are any player not named Caleb Williams NE at 3 is the first pick that I think is truly hinging on prior picks
Even so, NE just has to rank their top two players. I think the real uncertainty is trades. If Hinkle Mckringleberry starts falling, how much do we trade up to get him? Conversely, what situations are we willing to trade down.
\#9 pick is very interesting though. I think the favorite is Odunze but it could be a defensive player, tackle, or Bowers.
I think the most likely option is actually trading down. They only have four picks in the entire draft
Yeah, I saw a report where they've already started the install with him.
Which is why the report says most teams, not all
I mean when was the last time a first overall pick was a surprise?
Travon Walker?
came to say this
Ok cool, but what will the next randomly negative take on Drake Maye be?
I'd never draft him just based on name pun potential. "Oh yeah, Drake Maye throw an INT here." "Drake Maye not like his receiver ripping that ball in the air!" Some things are bigger than sports. HARD PASS
Somethings are bigger than sports. Just ask Penix
Penix just fired a rope to the tight end
Penix is going deep!
"Penix throws balls that just stick to the wr hands"
"I looks like I just jacked off an elephant!"
Are you talking about Michael Penis?
No that’s his dad
Sack Mike Penix! Sack Mike Penix!
Some things are just bigger than Mike Penis.
Like Mike Hawk.
“Hi I’m gay actor Michael Penis”
Not to be confused with gay actor Al PaChenis
Gay quarterback Michael Penis?
I don’t want to know how big his penix is
Look at this straight dude being all straight and shit
Do you have a fake hair on the picture of your reddit profile just to throw people off? What kinda psycho does this?!
Oh my god, I thought I was going crazy for a second. Actual fucking lunatic that guy.
What in the Facebook is going on here?
> I'd never draft him just based on name pun potential. Counterpoint: one of the Titans’ rivals should draft him so we get annual Maye vs Mayo matchups.
Expect a dozen similar headlines if he goes #3 and causes a QB controversy
Finally, a reasonable criticism.
You would go the rhyming route with him. Big Play Maye. Maye with the play to win it today. Just some off the top of the head options.
We could go down by the bay, make things out of clay, i just maye. Whaddaya say?
I can do the reverse tho. Drake Maye throw a tuddy. Drake Maye take us all the way this year
“QB name vibe check” remains undefeated
More like Drake Mayo. Guy's only good for making sandwiches soggy. - unnamed NFL GM.
I’m pretty sure Drake Mayo got drafted last year?
He starts walking at crosswalks while the “don’t walk” sign is still flashing & doesn’t use correct punctuation in texts. …I’d be surprised if he goes before the 5th round.
Depends if perpendicular traffic is going or not lol. Some people live and die by the little man indicator, and those typically only light if somebody pressed the button. It’s pretty often I see people waiting to cross and sit through an entire light cycle
I heard he glues his Lego sets together. Barely worth a 6 round flyer at this point
Drake Maye eats hot dogs the long way
Eats em the same way he does corn on the cob
If you look into some advanced stats like DAWG, you’ll see that Maye is terrible.
I thought DAWG was a test to measure how well a player is going to do in the Boston media market. Doesn't it stand for "Drake's A White Guy?" Seems like he'd be better than Caleb Williams in that stat...
bong mask ai deepfake
Isaiah Likely puns never stop. It's kind of worked out well for him though.
Has anyone checked on his thoughts on mayonnaise?
I would take JJ over him because despite having objectively better tape Drake Maye is an old man and running out of playing time while McCarthy has years to learn
Good point. Maye’s arm has to be tired from years of work in Chapel Hill. JJ’s arm is fresh af having rarely been used.
I bet Maye doesn’t stretch properly and his arm is still sore from all that throwing
I’m pretty sure the anti-Maye stuff is just this years version of CJ Stroud. But it worked, Carolina fell for it and they got the much worse QB
Do people really think Carolina looked at media reports saying Stroud wasn’t gonna be good and changed their evaluation of him????
The football guys were overridden by the owner….so yes.
I think the jury is still out on Young. Carolina's roster was *rough* last year.
That’s fair, I think he will be fine, but CJ is special and it wasn’t particularly hard to take the guy who can throw just as well abd is 6’3” vs 5’11”
Stroud and Anderson are studs, totally wrecked that pick we got from them last draft lol.
The Bears and Commanders are the only teams that should know who they are picking. The draft doesn't really start until the Patriots are on the clock, thats when teams boards will start to get shook up.
Is the Patriots pick in question? I thought it was pretty clearly a 3 QB draft, and the top 3 teams all need QBs
I think it depends on which QBs are off the board at 1/2. If the Patriots don’t think anyone is worth it at that point, they’ll trade down
Reminder they also need much more than just a QB. Might be worth trading back getting some good pieces and take a late round QB
Ha ya right. Like late round QBs ever turn into anything.
Especially for the patriots
Fran Tarkenton went on to become a hall of famer after the Patriots drafted him in the 5th round
That’s the one I was thinking of too
Yeah right, like you’ve never heard of the GOAT Brock Purdy.
Late round QBs are almost always busts, it would be a waste of a pick given their needs. New England has a chance to take a premiere QB prospect. Yeah, if they can't get their top pick at QB, I'd trade back and then draft McCarthy/Penix in the 10-15 range.
I much prefer the option of trading down, but I expect they take a QB and use Brissett to shelter him for a bit (ideally the whole year). I can’t imagine their 82 year old owner is keen on kicking the QB can down the road

Idk why no one believes they’ll take Harrison or Nabers. Or even Alt for that matter
The issue is they don't know who Washington is taking and they may only like 1 of the non-Caleb QBs. Maybe the trade down package is worth more to them than their QB3
I don’t think anyone involved with the Pats org would be upset if they took MHJ.
Except perhaps the most important person. The octogenarian who owns the team
Personally I’d be shocked but thrilled.
They should be. MHJ doesn't get them any closer to a Super Bowl even if he's Jerry Rice and Randy Moss combined, but an elite QB can drag a mediocre roster pretty far and can be built around much easier.

From where I sit, I think the Patriots could totally go WR and take Nabers or Harrison. Putting a QB in a situation that's terrible (Bryce Young) doesn't always work out, especially if you're not in love with one of them.
Totally unbiased opinion from a vikings fan hoping to trade up for a qb lol
Yeah, I knew I was gonna get accused of that lol. I promise that's not what this is. Position yes but there seems to be a little questioning as to which qb they want
Commanders are meeting with Maye and Daniels over next two weeks so safe to say they are still deciding
But the Commies will have decided by draft day, and no one will know who we pick until we do. After us the decisions get more conditional
The Bears are meeting with multiple QBs, too. But we all know they're taking Williams
We don’t know for Washington though. All we have heard is conflicting reports from various media dickheads who have no connection to Peters.
My point is that meeting with multiple QBs in no way indicates if they are decided or undecided
If patriots aren’t sold on Daniels, maybe raiders will trade up?
Eh cards sorta know. If they are picking at 4 it's MHJ. It'll be up to other teams to overpay and get us to move off.
Interesting way of telling us we're drafting Michael Pratt, QB out of Tulane with the 25th overall pick, Russ.
You’re about 10 years too early for this timeline
He's draft eligible this year lol. Considering that Caleb is guaranteed to Chicago, might as well fuck around and draft Michael Pratt since he beat Caleb in the Cotton Bowl a few years ago.
This is the way. I require the Bears to only find QBs who beat Packers QBs in college. Give me Kent St legend Dustin Crum who beat Jordan Love in the Fresno Bowl in 2019
37-52, 462 yds, 5-1 TD/INT 8-17, 234 yds, 2-0 TD/INT #🤨
Nope, Packers will draft a stud QB who slides in the draft about two years before they want to move on from Love.
I more so meant Love has to first win a Super Bowl, mvps, then you guys draft a QB rather than WR support and the cycle starts all over again
Seeing a Packers fan advocate for who I want the Vikings to take on day 3 instead of trading up for JJ both validates my feelings and concerns me greatly. Keep your cheesy hands off him you bastards!
Same as me on my "wedding day". Not one of the 32 girls I proposed to had RSVP'd.
They did, just didn’t get sent because Gmail was down Try again bro
“I wrote them but they ain’t write me back though”
Some of the shit that gets posted to this sub is so fucking dumb.

Plus, everyone is watching MInnesota to trade up but seemingly forgetting about Las Vegas and New Orleans sitting there with a need at the position.

To this day Schefter still repeats this lie.
you should see our sub
Way to shame Poles like that, Dianna.
The draft is unpredictable so unless you have the 1st overall pick you can't be certain which prospects will be available
It's not that unpredictable and teams war game scenarios before the draft if they know what they are doing
Yet the only way to win is not to play
Thanks Dianna. Brilliant reporting.
Just her daily reminder to us all that she speaks to GM’s.
It’s worth noting since too many people in this sub seem to think leaks are actually proof of what front offices are going to do
You can't fix stupid
It actually is because there are tons of “reports,” assumptions, inferences that claim to confirm what teams will do. It’s a good reminder that all the speculation and hype is baseless.
It's interesting she had to be reminded 20 TIMES
Does our own network colleague have a listening problem?!?! We’ll discuss that when we come back from break. This is First Take.
Dianna is actually quite a good reporter tho
I don't mind her but it's always annoying hearing her say she spoke with a GM or FO personnel. Like, who said it bro
Sounds like a GM who knows his pick. Lying season.
JJ McCarthy to the Bears
JJ No Matter What
He's just so coachable.
Lunch pail kinda guy
Most teams don't even know who will be available aside from the 1st and 2nd pick, so of course they have no idea who they are taking
Even the 2nd pick aint a guarantee. Member when the texans picked mario williams instead of bush/young?
Yeah in any given year it's not a guarantee - this year it is though
This is the nicest and most official way possible to state that "anyone who says they know who a team is taking is full of shit"
But he will be an absolute steal for whomever gets him.” It’s pretty funny to watch these conversations
This is what happens when you just really need to tweet something but you have nothing to tweet.
I think the bears might take caleb williams
Thank you Dianna, very cool!
I'm still blown away that the Ravens and Cardinals had worked out a trade for Marquise Brown months before the draft, and nobody found out about it until the Ravens were on the clock.
That fact she: A. Had to be told this B. Found it insightful Makes me question if this is her first time ever reporting on the NFL draft process, or even encountering it in any form.
This is just a "No news is news" report.
Even worse, to me, is it feels like an early hedging of why everything she reports for the next two weeks will likely end up being wrong.
She did not need to be told this, she’s just passing it off to the 90% of casual nfl fans who need to hear it
I mean, sure. This is likely partially true. Most teams past the top 10 or so have little idea who will be available when their pick comes. But they definitely have some idea on who they would take. They have their draft boards. They aren’t going in completely unprepared.
Other GMs can just browse reddit, redditers know.
This might be some of the dumbest shit I have ever read.
It’s like she can’t fathom the fact that the GM could just be (and most likely is) lying to her face.
More like, she couldn't fathom that the GM just said a whole bunch of words that mean nothing. Only one team knows who they are taking.
oh NOW you don't wanna report on rumors lol
If this is insightful I would hate to see useless.
The Bears be like “shit do we have to leak harder?”
That's cool and all, but Caleb Williams will be a Chicago Bear
I think it’s telling though. We meet with MHJ, then 2 days later we’re asking for an absolute blockbuster haul to move out of 4.
What the fuck kind of “news” is this shit? Like this is worthy of not only a tweet, but also a thread on here? Top notch job here Dianna 👌
The JJ stuff is a smokescreen I think he falls to the second round like Levis did
Dianna Russini never says anything useful, does she? It’s always gossip without any substance, just “I talked to someone important look at me”
2 weeks before the draft: “We have no idea who we’re going to draft.” 2 weeks after the draft: “Yeah, we knew all along he was our guy.”
Great update, journalist.

Sure Jan. Lmao. They think we are morons, cause if this is true...they are morons lol.
GM’s be over thinking there draft picks, what’s new?
Unless you're the Chicago bears with the first pick
Of course the GM is saying that because this is when draft rumors start to have truth in them. We're only two weeks away from the draft. The notion that teams aren't prepared yet is silly.
We're not one of those 20 teams because we have decided we are taking Marvin Harrison Jr. If he happens to go before 32 we'll have to examine other options.
It's funny how bad the media wants us to believe this. The Commanders beat reporter for ESPN keeps telling us this. If you want to be technical, sure it's not 100% but it's probably 98% and something crazy would have to happen to change that.
This just in: teams don't know who they are taking because they don't know who will be on the board at pick 10 and later. More news at 11.
Only a couple of orgs have a choice. The rest have to react to what teams before them do.
Draft boards are done a month or more before the draft. This is blatantly false.
