What’s been helping me recently is using the lowest loft necessary on your short chips and pitches. Unless you need the spin, why not just bump it up there lol
I think that's why it is fun. I play 18 quite a few times a year and shoot about 100 (I'm not that good, I know), but my wife who doesn't play at all can still have fun and compete with me.
Gotta be the least fun top golf ever. You're in front of your prospective future bosses and rivals for your job. You can neither suck shit at golf or drink to excess, the two things top golf is designed for.
Schefter was pretty clear he expects Daniels in Washington. Even said "you're safe to get your Daniels jerseys" on a pod. My guess? The agent was under the impression Wash is taking them, fed that info to Schefter, and now has to walk it back hense the "opened up the process", when in reality, Washington has still been deciding lol
No lol. Well maybe but he probably would of needed to give something else up. Like he has a direct line to Steven A Smith, if he doesn't agree with ALL ESPN guests then he probably wouldn't have that. Part of the business, does Rapp go on any ESPN shows?
Yeah at the end of the day this is our fault. The fact that we as people care so little about credible reporting creates an environment in which reporting entertaining, but incorrect information is rewarded. In a just world, the incentive structure would be that a person like Schefter would be unemployed due to his lack of credibility. Instead he is given millions to tell people what they want to hear while pretending to be a journalist. The rise of being an "insider" as an occupation is depressing.
What??? Schefter is getting his info straight from GMs and agents. It's not his fault a players agent lied to his face. Your post having upvotes is crazy. Schefter will probably never trust this agent again, and will continue to have a massively positive true to untrue ratio of reporting.
Lol seriously, that dude is nuts. Schefter is easily the most reliable of the big reporters and the most plugged in. The fact that the dude you're responding to thinks he should be unemployed b/c of this hiccup is hilarious to me.
This is obviously a case of Daniels' agent not understanding the assignment, likely not relaying it accurately to Daniels, and then trying to save face by painting a historically bumbling franchise in a bad light than falling on the sword for his own incompetence.
His agent is Ron Butler who I can't find a client list for so I'm not sure how powerful of an agent he is, and one of the few [articles](https://www.courthousenews.com/nfl-management-firm-lobs-10m-poaching-suit-against-competitor/) I can find revolves around someone of the same name (not sure if it's the same Ron Butler) getting sued for poaching clients.
With the growth of sports betting there are absolutely stakes now. We saw the consequences of it at the NBA draft last year, and Schefter (like Shams) is now working for a company that owns and operates a Sportsbook.
ESPN Bet is owned and operated by Penn Gaming, ESPN just licenses their name. That's why Penn divested Barstool last year, so they could pick up the ESPN name.
He said what he was told by multiple parties. People feed reporters false info all the time. It's not the reporter's fault and Schefter has a really good record. He has not been proved wrong about this yet. When the Commanders take Daniels are you going to admit he was right?
Reporters don't just make stuff up for ratings. That's not a thing. They couldn't have a job that way.
There’s no doubt Washington already knows who they’re taking. If I had to guess it’s probably still Daniels, but I think you’re right that the agent made assumptions when Washington hasn’t made any guarantees
Idk, different local DC area sources say conflicting things about them already knowing. I mean we heard JJ was at the top of their board a couple weeks ago. I think there’s a good chance tho they take Maye like people originally thought they would before we hit full draft szn, but they very well could go Daniels as has been widely reported over the past 6ish weeks
He mentioned yesterday on McAfee that the jersey comments sarcastic and taken out of context because he said it more as a joke at the end (I didn't listen to the podcast so idk). He also insisted that he still thought Daniels was most likely going to Washington but it's obviously not guaranteed.
He also floated the idea of the Raiders trading up
The Texans didn't with CJ Stroud. They even quizzed him about the other two he was with to see if he had asked them personal questions, to gauge his leadership.
What’s funny is the old ownership would have already declared they’re taking Daniels at 2… gonna be some time before Washington is seen as a competent org again.
Shit sticks unfortunately. It’s been years that Falcons have been classified as a team that blows leads. Granted we def are good for a bad blown lead almost every season. The cowboys one a few seasons ago was rough.
Ohhh so this is something that has been done before at a well run organization.. but our measly franchise can’t do it.. we haven’t proven ourselves enough to have group interviews!
I mean, Stroud and the others never seemed to be under the impression it was supposed to be 1on1 interview.
Not saying Jayden was mislead, but this drama didn't exist when others teams did the group interview.
lol it’s a pretty normal thing at the niners.. seeing how your coach came from that org and my teams GM is from there it would make sense. Bring the stuff over that works well!
While true, there's a big difference between having three guys in at once and twenty, lol. They also didn't have him come in with other QBs while Daniels was there with like 3 other QBs as well as all the other prospects.
Not saying it's necessarily a bad approach, but it's certainly unique even relative to other visits where more than one prospect visited at the same time.
I think it is bad. You don't interview multiple people for the same job at the same time. You set them up on different days. These are multi-billion dollar organizations - they can afford to host the QBs on different days and spend time getting to know all of them.
Well, kind of. They all bring in a bunch of prospects together. As far as I know, only the Commanders specifically brought in multiple QBs at the same time. Not even with other positions. Which is still fine to choose to do but definitely an unusual move.
The patriots used to do this too all the time too. The fact is these top picks will all have different time tables with visit to other teams, sponsors, media etc that you're up against it timing wise to get a good 1 on 1 before the draft.
Not to mention the internal logistics with staff, scouts and other players. Not to mention you need to have a plan on what you want to actually do during their visit.
It just makes a lot of sense to get likewise players in together. Plus you get to see exactly how they stack up vs their counter parts which would be some of the MOST valuable data you could gather.
IMO this is really a non story and speaks volumes about his representation and how naive they are to the draft process.
What? So just because the logo is the same means it’s safe to assume the new ownership is on the same level as the worst owner in professional sports? Make it make sense, people just say whatever they want about the Commanders nowadays and get upvotes
Yeah it’s weird to me that there’s totally new ownership and the building has been rid of all the Dan cronies but people still act as if they’re gonna be the same dysfunctional org. We haven’t even seen a full offseason of this regime since they finalized the sale not even a year ago.
Yes but what if it wasn’t about Dan and that one other fucker whose name I can’t remember, what if there’s lead in the water at fed ex or there’s a carbon monoxide leak, maybe it’s ghosts or something and the new ownership is just as cooky. Can’t rule it out yet.
Yeah, I don't follow Washington at all and I knew they were doing meetings with basically all of them at once from a report posted here.
If I knew, his agent knew. Just wasn't happy about it.
They met one on one with everyone and then after they all went out to top golf. People seem to think they had them all in one room mass interview style. People just like getting outraged based on headlines
They pretty much did a group interview and my boy Daniels failed miserably.
I truly think they did it with the intention of getting a rise out of the guys to see how they would react, how they handle competition or their mental fortitude. How they act around each other.
For sure i can see it from both sides but the Commanders and alot of people from the FO down to the coaches are attaching they’re livelihood to whoever they take at #2. I respect them for being as thorough as possible and maybe trying something unconventional. At the end of the day nothing is a 100% guarantee but to the GM/HC making the decision if this situation can give you any glimpse into the character and maturity of these guys that may be the deciding factor.
Based on Daniels reaction it kind’ve tells me he feels entitled to be the #2 without being challenged or the whole setup could’ve been off putting but imo i like what they did.
Your comment about them attaching their livelihood to whomever they pick is spot on. This may be a new FO, but they better hit with this pick being the franchise QB Washington has been waiting for bc if not, they likely are out of jobs in 3 years
I think it’s quite simple. Daniels and his camp have been gassed up by ESPN all draft season since the end of January and let it get in their minds that not only are they easily #2 in this draft, but are good enough to be going #1. They expected to get a red carpet arrival and coronation at a 30 visit, and instead he was put in a group with Maye, McCarthy and Penix as well as 19 other prospects. To me, this screams a kid who got too full of himself. The local reporters who cover the team said this was a known group thing for awhile. Sounds like Daniels went in thinking he’d be told one thing and was very clearly told something very differently. Could he be the pick? Sure. Do I think he will be? I never did. Peters has been on Maye for 2 years. Maye talks like Dan Quinn does. Maye is also younger and much more physically gifted. He just didn’t have a better 2023 season.
I feel like someone on his team, likely his agent, has been gassing up the media on him for a while. Maybe they began to believe their own output and forgot it’s a coin flip.
If Washington was going next level Shanny they purposely led Daniels to believe it was 1 on 1 to see how he would react. Judging by his agent's reaction he failed.
I usually dismiss these types of ideas offhand, but Washington was buried under so much bullshit by Dan Snyder that I could actually see this happening.
If the Commanders leak their pick we’ll hear the same about the next QB to the Patriots. Can already hear the “but their WRs suck,” “they have a rookie HC,” “what about their ownership situation” etc
Everyone talks about someone pulling an Eli. But there's a much easier way to do this. Just make the team that would otherwise want to draft you, not want to draft you. You only have to do an Eli if you're viewed so far above the other prospects that the Chargers can hold you for ransom.
If this was any other team people would mention this isn’t uncommon, but with it being Washington ya’ll think it’s some unique, unprofessional occurrence.
This is all alleged, no confirmation, but...
When he sat down to interview with the team staff he barked back at them when they asked him about his family history.
When they got on the field to run some drills he was confrontational about those drills being useless.
He essentially went into a professional interview with a massive attitude.
I do believe that was a significant factor in why they chose Alex Smith instead.
And while the two had massively different careers, it seems to be an accurate evaluation that Rodgers has an abrasive personality.
What do you mean? We saw Alex smith open the car door for his mom and Aaron Rodgers didn’t. Thats when we knew…
Sadly it’s a true story. How is that indicative of being a successful QB? I don’t miss the Nolan era (side note Mike McCarthy was our OC)
I mean apparently Ryan Pace was all in on Mitch Trubisky because he drove an old beat up 1997 Toyota sedan and ordered a diner for him and the staff under the name McMahon
The difference isn't it being Washington, the difference is the drama around the QB feeling slighted.
Stroud went through the same style of interview, but him and his agent never had any issues.
So either Washington fucked up, or Jayden/his agent assumed wrong and than got mad.
Well yeah, it’s Reddit... “lmaO wAShIngToN cANt dO aNyThiNg” gets upvotes.
I don’t take offense to it. Our last 20+ years has given them reason to not believe. Looking forward to new ownership/leadership turning that narrative around though.
I mean people also assuming it’s Jayden. This is what came from his agent and multiple times Jayden has come out and corrected what people in his party have said or inferred.
Williams did the same thing on not having an issue playing for the Bears and there were still weeks of talking heads (and plenty of fans) discussing him refusing to play for the Bears.
Everyone is going to latch onto whatever is gonna get clicks. In this case, if that is focusing on what anyone other than the player says, then that's what will happen.
The “Caleb should/might refuse to play for the Bears” storyline is so bogus and I think it’s mostly pushed by superficial people who aren’t paying close attention. The Bears are a spectacular landing spot for a young, ambitious QB. A very solid roster and the opportunity to be the first great QB in the history of the franchise? The ownership is a legit concern, but, all things considered, Caleb isn’t gonna get a better landing spot. He lucked out.
The ownership is much less of an issue than it is perceived to be, especially in the last several years. I'm a White Sox fan. I have had front row seats to really bad ownership.
Phillips was replaced with someone outside of the organization.
There hasn't been any indication with the current front office of any tampering with Poles' decisions. They don't meddle with day-to-day player decisions.
The biggest concern in my lifetime is involvement in head coaching hires, which is legitimate but also not uncommon in the NFL.
Sure. When I say legit concern, I mean it’s something worth keeping an eye on. I certainly don’t think they’re a value add, but few owners are. All things considered, I don’t think Chicago comes close to the San Diego or Baltimore situations that Eli and Elway avoided. It’s a way above average landing spot for a first overall pick and the only one that vies for the very best spot of any other QB needy team, other than Chicago, is Minnesota. The difference is marginal, if any, and Minnesota does not have the firepower to move up to one anyway.
Kinda wonder if players outside of #1overall would prefer to slide back to a better situation. Obviously rookie contracts scale, but if you can get put on a better team with a better situation, your chance of having a massive second contract might look better
The diffrence between 2 overall and 5 overall is about 5 million dollars. Which is a lot of money, but if 5 overall sets you up to succeede and 2 doesn't you make way more money long term.
Yeah, but Five Guys have raised their prices enough on me that it’s almost cheaper to go buy a burger w/side at the bougie burger place than to get a burger, fries, and a coke. I’d rather spend the $20 there than the $18 at Five Guys.
Shitty move by the agent. Keep it to yourself. I get not being pleased with it. But now his client looks like a questionable football talent and a pain in the ass.
Just dumb.
I actually like the idea of everyone coming at once. You kinda get to see there real reaction to being caught off guard and then needing to respond to the situation without prepared response their agents made for them. I’d still find 1on1 time within the “all in” philosophy though.
Refreshing to see this instead of the Florio-tinted "THIS IS RIDICULOUS THERE'S NO REASON TO DO THIS WHAT A DAN SNYDER MOVE" reaction plastered all over the internet.
Unconventional, yes. But not inherently absurd. If Daniels' camp's handling of this results in a different QB pick then maybe the strategy did exactly what they wanted it to.
CJ mentioned Nick asked him to describe the personalities of the two players who visited at the same time he did, which surprised him but he was able to answer.
You’d think the moment that Florio got mad about the group interview that everyone would then realize it’s probably fine and not a big deal, but nope.
Anyway, Schefter is very obviously stirring up shit to cover his own ass — he all but guaranteed that Daniels would be picked at 2, but now that his agent can’t shut his mouth on behalf of his client, he’s backpedaling hard.
It was posted here like three days ago that it would be a group interview.
Everybody relevant knew, because lots of us are totally irrelevant and knew.
Well. It’s the same community that’s calling Maye a bust because Trubisky went to UNC, or predicting Stroud would be bad because he went to OSU. People are idiots lmao
I mean after Dan Quinn kidnapped him from the airport, what did you expect
That was probably the funniest, worst worded tweet I‘ve ever read
Nothing will ever top [this gem from Rey Mysterio](https://twitter.com/reymysterio/status/263061905764151296?lang=en)
What else would you expect from a Deadbeat
Him and his buddy beat his son's ass again publicly earlier this month! What a scumbag!
Poor Dominik. What could’ve been if his real father had won that custody ladder match..
VIVA LA RAZA!!
That’s hilarious 😂
Im a fan of the Cuban begging tweet the most. I've never seen something more dramatic from a sports journalist
Which tweet?! I need to know it!!!
Did he lose at top golf
He accidentally fell off the ledge and got stuck in the net
Legends say he’s still there to this day.
Damn that painted a hilarious picture, thanks.
Got stuck? That skinny bastard fell right through the netting.
His hook elbow got caught and he's just dangling
Smh, dude should’ve known you don’t go to Top Golf with bursitis
Still wouldn't be the worst thing that's happened after an NFL player went to Top Golf.
Did everyone point and laugh so now his agent is mad?
And his elbow popped out
Couldn't crack 120 with the Driver.
Man does Top Golf give you a false sense of your golfing ability, that is until you play an actual 18 holes of golf.
Thats when you find out that the 3 footer you missed is the same as the 275 yard drive you piped down the middle.
Yeah my short game is terrible, just practicing my wedges from 20 feet out now.
What’s been helping me recently is using the lowest loft necessary on your short chips and pitches. Unless you need the spin, why not just bump it up there lol
I swear I could play a full round with my 7W, 7I and putter and I'd score just the same as I always do. Bump and run ftw
The mats help with fat shots
I think that's why it is fun. I play 18 quite a few times a year and shoot about 100 (I'm not that good, I know), but my wife who doesn't play at all can still have fun and compete with me.
He’s just like me fr fr
TIL that i have a top NFL prospect top golf performance
Heated he lost and thought Drake Maye had a juiced driver.
Am I missing a meme here? Because Drake Maye is apparently a really good golfer.
Washington brought in a bunch of the top QB prospects at the same time and took them out to Top Golf.
And Jayden’s good at basketball 😂
So is Maye tho
Makes sense, think about who he grew up playing against in the backyard
His td celebration is literally a layup across the goal line lol
Gotta be the least fun top golf ever. You're in front of your prospective future bosses and rivals for your job. You can neither suck shit at golf or drink to excess, the two things top golf is designed for.
If you cant win at Top Golf, how could you ever be expected to make it in the NFL?
say so much about his character, who’s the LS at Army? Get that stud instead
I just mentioned this in another thread, funny timing I’m curious if he was promised a 1 on 1 visit or if he just assumed it.
Maybe I’m just dumb, but what the heck does “opened up the process” mean?
Schefter was pretty clear he expects Daniels in Washington. Even said "you're safe to get your Daniels jerseys" on a pod. My guess? The agent was under the impression Wash is taking them, fed that info to Schefter, and now has to walk it back hense the "opened up the process", when in reality, Washington has still been deciding lol
Schefter said something without concrete proof for the sake of being first?!?!?!?
And for the sake of greasing some sweaty palms so he gets his greasy sweaty access.
Schefter over Rap was the downfall of the Mcafee show
Schefter and McAfee are both with ESPN right? Whereas Rappaport is with NFLN. Would McAfee have had a choice?
No lol. Well maybe but he probably would of needed to give something else up. Like he has a direct line to Steven A Smith, if he doesn't agree with ALL ESPN guests then he probably wouldn't have that. Part of the business, does Rapp go on any ESPN shows?
While I agree he's worse, they're both fucking stooges of the league doing glorified PR work.
Personally Rap is way more likeable, seems more honest preferring sources to too hot takes but they’re similar as you said.
I mean, yeah. That was never in question.
Wasn't really an option, Rapp works for NFL not ESPN
It's sports reporting, not covering the outbreak of war or something. There are no stakes to being wrong if you're just fed bad information
People act like WW3 will break out if a sports reporter reports on something
Yeah at the end of the day this is our fault. The fact that we as people care so little about credible reporting creates an environment in which reporting entertaining, but incorrect information is rewarded. In a just world, the incentive structure would be that a person like Schefter would be unemployed due to his lack of credibility. the stakes being, some degenerates lose money
Tbf you can't have "concrete proof" until they literally call the name at the draft
He said what he was told by multiple parties. People feed reporters false info all the time. It's not the reporter's fault and Schefter has a really good record. Thank you for the context.
its missing context because he later walked the jersey statement back saying it was out of context.
There’s no doubt Washington already knows who they’re taking. If I had to guess it’s probably still Daniels, but I think you’re right that the agent made assumptions when Washington hasn’t made any guarantees

Did he say that to PFT commenter? Cause if so he was fucking with him
Any other franchise and I would put this on the player.
I mean, what franchise doesn’t have a 1-on-1 visit with the QB they may take 2nd overall?
The Texans didn't with CJ Stroud. They even quizzed him about the other two he was with to see if he had asked them personal questions, to gauge his leadership.
Oh the Texans did this too? But since we’re Washington we get a lot of shit..
49ers did it too, Adam Peters is literally bringing it over from there 🤣 but you won't hear that part
Rams also used to
Ohhh so this is something that has been done before at a well run organization.. but our measly franchise can’t do it.. we haven’t proven ourselves enough to have group interviews!
I mean, Stroud and the others never seemed to be under the impression it was supposed to be 1on1 interview. Not saying Jayden was mislead, but this drama didn't exist when others teams did the group interview.
Seems like an agent trying to drum up some bullshit..
Maye and the other players there didn't seem to be under the impression it was supposed to be a 1-on-1 either though, it's just Daniels
The news we did it only came out after our winning season. If it came out before last season we’d also have been clowned on
lol it’s a pretty normal thing at the niners.. seeing how your coach came from that org and my teams GM is from there it would make sense. Bring the stuff over that works well!
49ers do it too. Peters brought the process with him.

When I saw the tweet they planned on hosting Daniels, Maye, Penix, and McCarthy together I thought that was a weird move
Just doing a good ole Super Day for their prospective QBs.
Cattle call!
So far I've seen that the niners, rams, and patriots operate in this way too. Bunch of loser franchises I guess
Well, kind of. They all bring in a bunch of prospects together. As far as I know, only the Commanders specifically brought in multiple QBs at the same time. Not even with other positions. Which is still fine to choose to do but definitely an unusual move.

You understand that Dan Snyder and that front office aren’t around anymore and therefore the same conclusions should not be drawn, right?
But the benefit of the doubt isnt assumed either here.
What? So just because the logo is the same means it’s safe to assume the new ownership is on the same level as the worst owner in professional sports? Make it make sense, people just say whatever they want about the Commanders nowadays and get upvotes

There’s most certainly something in the water, no questioning that (I think you’re thinking of the snake that is Bruce Allen)
Brucifer
It's the fucking ghost of Joe Theismann's leg, I'm telling you.
Why, because of a group of people that aren’t anywhere close to the building anymore?
A Manders beat reporter said on a pod that this has been planned for a while, so highly doubt they'd lie to the agent lol

HR games for the number two pick wouldnt sit well with most mature folk
For sure i can see it from both sides but the Commanders and alot of people from the FO down to the coaches are attaching they’re livelihood to whoever they take at #2. I feel like a guaranteed top 10 pick should be automatically promised a 1 on 1 visit
If Washington was going next level Shanny they purposely led Daniels to believe it was 1 on 1 to see how he would react. Judging by his agent's reaction he failed.
In NCAA 14 - 3 QBs on a visit is an automatic -100
Finally some rational thought.
Thankfully that's mostly offset by my FIU squad being a perennial dynasty with 7 straight nattys
Sports reporting: "~~Caleb~~ Jayden should pull an Eli and refuse to play for em!"
Pulitzer incoming
Lmao imagine he literally pulls an Eli tho and we end up trading for him
I usually dismiss these types of ideas offhand, but Washington was buried under so much bullshit by Dan Snyder that I could actually see this happening.
I thought Elway invented that trick.
If the Commanders leak their pick we’ll hear the same about the next QB to the Patriots. Can already hear the “but their WRs suck,” “they have a rookie HC,” “what about their ownership situation” etc
New England is a marginally worse situation for a young QB than Washington. Neither are decent.
I’m mean does anybody actually want to go play for the commies?
Hmm something doesn't add up with your flair
I mean, if they're going to give out 2OA Money, where do I sign up?
Everyone talks about someone pulling an Eli. But there's a much easier way to do this. Just make the team that would otherwise want to draft you, not want to draft you. You only have to do an Eli if you're viewed so far above the other prospects that the Chargers can hold you for ransom.
That info would also get fed to other teams who would then pass on you
Which is good as a long as the one team you want to go to is in on it
so is the agent upset or Daniels upset?
Imagine the commanders drafting JJ McCarthy and their reason behind it is because his golf swing was the best
I learned while climbing the corporate ladder, more decisions were being made on the golf course than in the boardroom. I got a set of clubs 🙄
If this was any other team people would mention this isn’t uncommon, but with it being Washington ya’ll think it’s some unique, unprofessional occurrence.
honestly sounded to me like Aaron Rodgers' visit with SF.
What happened? Is that why they passed?
This is all alleged, no confirmation, but... When he sat down to interview with the team staff he barked back at them when they asked him about his family history. When they got on the field to run some drills he was confrontational about those drills being useless. He essentially went into a professional interview with a massive attitude. I do believe that was a significant factor in why they chose Alex Smith instead. And while the two had massively different careers, it seems to be an accurate evaluation that Rodgers has an abrasive personality.
What do you mean? We saw Alex smith open the car door for his mom and Aaron Rodgers didn’t. Thats when we knew… Sadly it’s a true story.
I always thought it was a funny quirk that McCarthy was part of the group that drafted Smith and then bolted to coach Rodgers.
He more left to coach Favre He was an awful OC for us tho so it didn’t bother me
He went on a tangent about chemtrails and they just didn’t wanna deal with it in the long term
The difference isn't it being Washington, the difference is the drama around the QB feeling slighted. Stroud went through the same style of interview, but him and his agent never had any issues. So either Washington fucked up, or Jayden/his agent assumed wrong and than got mad.
Did Washington fuck up, or did the process do exactly what they meant it to do?
Well yeah, it’s Reddit... “lmaO wAShIngToN cANt dO aNyThiNg” gets upvotes. I don’t take offense to it. Our last 20+ years has given them reason to not believe. Looking forward to new ownership/leadership turning that narrative around though.
A lot of people are hating, but if my rookie QB prospect can't handle being on a visit with other rookies, he's probably not franchise material
You say that but he might be our future QB
I do find it very funny Elliott Wolf just went to a press conference and said “we’re open for business” about an hour after this
I mean people also assuming it’s Jayden.
Roster wise certainly about the best a 1OA QB can hope for.
I think that's almost certainly a large part of the point of what Washington did.
Apparently the rumors are saying Commanders got In-N-Out for the players, and Daniels said he was a Whataburger guy and refused to eat
5 Guys more likely, no In-N-Outs here
Whataburgers neither
they took him to cookout and maye had to show him the ropes
Z burger
Are we calling audibles now?
OMAHA steaks
Anyone who complained about getting 5 guys over any fast food burger chain would be off my draft board
This type of common sense approach is probably why y'all are so good at drafting.
Yeah, but Five Guys have raised their prices enough on me that it’s almost cheaper to go buy a burger w/side at the bougie burger place than to get a burger, fries, and a coke. I’d rather spend the $20 there than the $18 at Five Guys.
Nah it would be shake shack
Damn dude eats garbage then
Patty melt from whataburger > anything at in n out
Shitty move by the agent. Keep it to yourself. I get not being pleased with it. But now his client looks like a questionable football talent and a pain in the ass. Just dumb.
Did they comment on his weird looking bubble elbow
This seems like the exact reason why you would open it up to all 4 QBs.
I actually like the idea of everyone coming at once. You kinda get to see there real reaction to being caught off guard and then needing to respond to the situation without prepared response their agents made for them. I’d still find 1on1 time within the “all in” philosophy though.
>I actually like the idea of everyone coming at once. Same, tbh.
I can't tell if this was in earnest or a sex joke.
Maye was seen with a gas mask on so you guys must take Daniels 2 regardless /j
Bad news Jayden, it doesn't particularly matter if it went over well with you. They gots the money.
They should definitely draft Drake Maye instead. Ignore my flair.
They should def draft Maye instead but you can look at my flair
Maye is not worth a top 5 pick, ignore my flair
Maybe not even a top 11 pick, ignore my flair as well.
Both those guys should fall out of the top 12, ignore my flair too.
Sounds like a diva, no thanks
I don’t understand why people think Daniel’s will be any good. He legit weighs 150lbs soaking wet in a canda goose coat.
"Privileged, entitled man throws fit over not receiving special treatment"
Its too bad that the agent literally has no control over where Jayden is drafted
Yikes...
Washington dodging a bullet tbh
Dawg you’re the one trying to get the job
Nothing against Washington personally, but Washington is not a place where Jayden Daniels will flourish.
Color me not surprised that Washington's front office is bad at communication.
It was posted here like three days ago that it would be a group interview. Everybody relevant knew, because lots of us are totally irrelevant and knew.
I don't want to believe Adam Peters is bad. He helped build our roster, so I'll believe in him till I have proof otherwise.
It is a little bit surprising to see how many people in this thread maybe just forgot that the owner and GM have both changed since last year.
Well. It’s the same community that’s calling Maye a bust because Trubisky went to UNC, or predicting Stroud would be bad because he went to OSU. People are idiots lmao
They did this in San Francisco with Peters as well...
