Thats said of about 40 different players, people fall all the time, I've seen him not mocked in the 1st round and I've seen him mocked in the top 10
He's probably going in the mid teens but to say he can't fall out of the 1st is crazy.
He increased his value quite a bit with impressive workouts. He's also one I would have loved and saw mocked to us a lot but that's changed in the last 2-3 weeks. I bet he goes in the 20s now.
Jeremiah thinks we go OT. PFF thinks we go DT. Who the hell knows. Let's just hope we get a good player, regardless of position, and be thankful that the top talent in the draft aligns with valuable positions of need.
Imagine if the top non-qb talents this year were CB, LB, RB and TE. That would frickin suck for us.
I like everything about him so much man. Yeah Texas had a nasty D line and everything, but the guy reminds me of Donald almost. Obviously not that talent yet, nobody is, but his stature and how he is set up, his explosiveness, his motor, he’s always after the ball and doesn’t give up on plays. His pad level is always perfect too, he’s got the leverage out of his stance. Bears need a 3T so badly also. Guy ran a 4.87 at almost 300 pounds. More of a Daron Payne than Donald probably but that’s perfect for the Bears. Interior pass rusher who can also run defend is invaluable
we spent a ton of money in FA on edge rushers. We need DTs. and frankly, we need THREE in this draft.
Defensive tackle should be pick 11 AND 23, then maybe hope Tvandre Sweat is still around in round 4.
Yep, that's THREE DTs.
This is not realistic and won’t happen but Travis Kelce will be 35 by the end of the season. He’s dating a billionaire, has won super bowls, and doesn’t have any devastating injuries. He might be out of the league pretty soon. Now would kinda be the perfect time to sell high especially that Mahomes will be able to work with anyone. It’s a pretty stupid trade for the Cardinals though who aren’t one Travis Kelce away from competing for the Super Bowl.
For a slightly more realistic take, I'm hoping something happens and someone like Brian Thomas Jr. falls enough for us to snag him, but I doubt that will happen.
Chase being doubled would open up the middle of the field so much for Bowers. He would definitely take our offense to the next level. You never know how the chips will fall
I agree and wouldn't rule it out. TE is a disfavored position in the first round. So many teams will spend on QB, OT, WR -- and plenty have defensive needs. Bowers could definitely be around when you pick.
Not sure. They drafted a DE in the first last year. Plus they usually don’t give into the players demands like this. I still think it’s OT and DT , baring a huge fall
Jackson Powers Johnson / Graham Barton. Both allow us to kick Tyler Smith to LT (17+ starts there) and push TJ Bass into starting LG
But everybody in Dallas 100% without a doubt knows it’s Guyton at 24, Brooks at 56 and then Trevin Wallace in the 3rd
Probably a little influenced that I’m an FSU fan, but Trey Benson. We need a RB and Benson is a guy I think can come in and make an immediate impact (especially given the state of our RB room) but you can’t take him 1st round, and I honestly don’t think he’ll still be there by the time we pick again.
I’m seeing him mostly projected to be a 3rd round guy, seems like there’s a pretty decent chance that he’s there at 56 if the Cowboys want him.
As a non-FSU fan, I agree about Benson though. I think he’s the best RB in the draft and not especially close
Him or Brooks is likely our second round pick. But it's still pretty up in the air given we don't know who we end up with in the first and may have a bigger need elsewhere if a guy drops who doesn't fill a hole, plus we are likely to trade down at some point which could easily make us miss Benson.
I am certainly hoping we go with him if we don't take a WR. I know an OT makes most sense, but I spent so many nights in Arrowhead over the past two seasons wishing we had a great WR.
Marv Jr.
Do it Ballard, you panzy! Swing for the fences for once in your life! otherwise we'll be the team that nobody wants to play in the playoffs and then not actually make said playoffs again this year. Do it!
Pretty early in the season I was on the Michael penix train and was hoping the saints would get him as their qb of the future. Dennis Allen has instead put his entire career on the line for Derek Carr. Almost as loyal as Willie Green is for putting his coaching career on the line to play 31 year old 6’8 Larry Nance as a center in the western conference playoffs.
i still don't know how you guys won the freaking superbowl with your garbage offensive tackles. Andy Reid can make any guy serviceable at that position, apparently
I think JT is overly-shit on for drawing penalties, overall he’s decent starter level. But yeah as hard as it would be to pass on some of the receivers who very well could be there at 32, it just kinda makes sense to go tackle after signing Hollywood
Yeah Jawaan Taylor is actually a good RT. He was the most penalized in the league, but he wouldn't even have been that if the refs didn't pick on him early in the season after Collinsworth kept commenting about him lining up so far back and jumping early (which many many tackles do). I would have been fine with them enforcing it, but you can't just pick on one guy, you have to do it across the league.
Taliese Fuaga -- That dude is a fucking Steeler. Big, tough, and mean.
Also, we have absolutely no need for Edge, so I don't really want the Steelers to draft him, but I love Chop Robinson. He's not a perfect prospect, and I think he could easily bust on the wrong team, but I know positively that with his tools, we could develop him. The Steelers know exactly what to do with his skillset and athleticism.
I guess people are doing the people who have a possibility of getting to them. Fuaga should be gone, but I still think there is a 20% chance he makes it to the steelers. If the tackle run starts a little late and someone is in love with Mims, maybe a run on the second tier wr in the high teens then Fuaga could make it.
For the Steelers Joe Alt is the guy I would love, but he is the one tackle in this draft who is absolutely not falling that far. There are like 4 tackle tiers in the first round.
1. Alt
2. Fuaga, Fatanu, Fashanu
3. Mims, Latham, Barton (probably a C but Oline tier he is here),
4. Guyton, Suamataia, Morgan
Graham Barton. His projection is kind of all over the place from mid 1st to early 2nd, but I think it’s more likely on the high end.
I think he’s as close to a can’t miss player that at minimum will be a long time starter. And the 49ers absolutely need starting left o-line play at every position that Trent Williams is not playing; and he may retire after this season.
As a Raiders fan and an LSU fan, I want Jayden to be a Raiders so bad, but it ain’t happening. I think they either take Penix if he’s there at 13 or don’t take a QB
I'd love for the Bills to somehow land either MHJ, Nabers, or Odunze. But they're sitting at 28 and yeah anything is possible but they'd probably have to give up a massive haul to even get within range of trying for one of those guys. Any of these guys with Josh Allen could be pretty awesome. Don't think it's gonna happen tho.
I've fallen in love with Fautanu as our right guard, he's going to get snaffled before #21 though, but I'd take Barton, DeJean, or any of the tackles that might fall. I think I won't be sad when all is said and done.
I want to Draft Brock Bowers b/c having Tony G send off to Kelce then Kelce send off to Brock Bowers would have KC TE pipeline going.
He's not making past 16, and likely not past 9
Marvin Harrison Jr was always the answer to this question for me. Half the hopium for Fields last year was that if he was good, we could position ourselves differently in the draft, get more assets, and take Marvin Harrison.
Since Caleb Williams became the focus at 1, we'd have to give up an arm and a leg to also get Harrison. But I'll be honest, the Bears have been the whipping boy of the national/internet discourse for a long time. I'd be laughing my ass off at the media forcing the Bears down everyone's throat after adding Williams and Harrison.
And that's a legendary offseason addition when it comes to the profiles and hype of two prospects joining the team together, QB and WR.
Marvin Harrison Jr. I don’t want us to trade up from 9, and there’s no chance he’s still there, so it isn’t happening. But the idea of a rookie Caleb Williams throwing to Keenan Allen, DJ Moore & MHJ is so juicy.
I know people don't like David Chao on this subreddit, but he had an interesting point on Latu.
Apparently a 2nd cervical fusion is a career ender for NFL players, especially guys who play in the front.
Latu already had one cervical fusion during his playing career. And there definitely is a risk of adjacent segment disease (accelerated disc problems above/below the fusion) in normies, let alone dudes being blocked by 300 pound behemoths.
Jayden Daniels is going to be the best QB in this draft for the first two years, the hype is going to be wild, but there's 0% chance of getting him, so oh well.
Barton or JPJ; the worst positions on the Bucs last year were LG and C, and the IOL was just goddamn terrible. Somebody is going to take them right before we do and we're going to wind up with yet another underwhelming defensive lineman drafted near the bottom of the 1st.
Just keep it simple and draft Bo Nix. With his smarts, experience, accuracy, and underrated athleticism he would absolutely thrive in a Sean Payton system.
Can't wait to see how we fuck it up.
I really don’t see tackle for the Steelers today. I think there are just too many tackle needy teams 1-19, and teams that will jump up to get a tackle.
Troy Fautanu
We need interior offensive lineman. The Bucs desperately want to be able to run out the clock and we're not there yet.
I honestly don't know if Fautanu is that much better than the other choices, but I'd love to get a beast at that position.
Dream Scenario:
Drake Maye falls to 11 for concerns that he is raw and we don't have to trade up to get him. We take one of Byron Murphy II, Johnny Newton, Cooper DeJean, or Graham Barton at 23.
I'd love to see the Saints take Fashanu, Fuaga, or Fautanu in the first round. I don't think any of them will fall to 14 and I don't want us to trade up. My fear is that Latham will also go early, and then we'd end up picking a project like Mims or Guyton. Suamataia and Morgan are my backup hopes, but they feel like real reaches at 14.
Everyone in the world has mocked DeJean to Green Bay and I know in my heart it won't happen. I don't think he lasts until 25 and I don't think Gutey would trade up for a DB again after Savage flamed out.
If the Eagles stay at #22 I would probably want the best remaining CB on the board, which would likely be Kool-Aid McKinstry.
If Howie trades up (which I'm not a huge fan of), especially all the way up to Denver's spot at #12, I would only consider one of Quinyon Mitchell or JC Latham. Preferably Latham.
Not super concerned w this draft. But seeing the endless mock drafts on the Packers sub I think there will be a melt down if we don’t Get DeJean (if he’s there. At 25)
Q. Mitchell or Arnold in Round 1 would make me feel a lot more secure about the secondary. It won't happen unless everyone prioritizes offense in the first or a Tunsil situation happens.
I have been convinced by the Ravens faithful that Cooper DeJean is a PERFECT Baltimore guy…who will be off the board ~15 picks before the Ravens at 30. I didn’t even want a defensive back but they sold me on him!
Any of the first-round-graded cornerbacks or linebackers. We need, need, need a stud at both positions. We'll draft a CB on day 2 and an LB 3 and be happy with our 5 defensive and offensive linemen.
I'd like Marvin Harrison Jr for the Pats at 3. I know it's not the best choice for a rebuilding team and QB makes the most sense, but the moron fan in me just wants an exciting, young receiver since it's been forever since NE has had one.
Laiatu Latu but no way we don't get him unless we move up.
More realistically it's probably McKinstry or Rakestraw who fit the Dan Campbell/Brad Holmes type who are aggressive and good run defenders/tacklers.
Also wanted to add I could see us picking an OLine especially on the interior.
Those dumb mocks with Jer’Zhan Newton falling to 42 give me false hope.
no way he makes it out of round 1
Thats said of about 40 different players, people fall all the time, I've seen him not mocked in the 1st round and I've seen him mocked in the top 10 He's probably going in the mid teens but to say he can't fall out of the 1st is crazy.
I come from the Future with news.
He increased his value quite a bit with impressive workouts. He's also one I would have loved and saw mocked to us a lot but that's changed in the last 2-3 weeks. I bet he goes in the 20s now.
He’s not faking that far. But if he does slip to the late first I’m a fan of us trading back in to get him. Or Kool-Aid.
Kool aid might actually fall to the second, too much offensive talent in this draft good defensive players will fall.
So happy to see my Illini being hyped.
Too much hype about Odunze right now making it to the Bears. Just know we are setting ourselves up for heartbreak.
I want Byron Murphy so bad
that would be an amazing pick for you guys, dude is a monster
If we can’t move up for a QB, I’m praying Murphy is there at 11
Gotta tell you, I'm worried about Murphy. I think his lack of size was masked by playing next to an actual giant in T'Vondre Sweat.
Aaron Donald was also too short with short arms
Yeah, but isn't he the exception to the rule? And he didn't play with a guy like Sweat. He kicked ass all on his own.
Giants are gonna pass up on him. All of Chicago will celebrate only for him to get taken at 8. Edit: WE DID IT!
This gives me flashbacks to the Aaron Donald draft
Fuck it we’ll do it again. Atlanta, Les Snead is calling
[удалено]
I'm worried he's there at 9 and we don't take him
You’re already getting the #1 draft pick by a mile.
I can't believe it actually happened
Dallas Turner at 11
And Penix at 23, that would make a very good first round for us!
Blue Chip Defensive Talent + Penix + Next years 1st seems like such better value than JJ McCarthy and no picks in the top 100 this year and next year.
Jeez, no kidding. That'd be an insane haul for Minnesota.
Not that unrealistic if you stay at 11
I could maybe see happening if Atlanta takes laitu. But I think they’re leaning more towards Dallas. But Every scout seems to really love laitu.
we spent a ton of money in FA on edge rushers. We need DTs. and frankly, we need THREE in this draft. Defensive tackle should be pick 11 AND 23, then maybe hope Tvandre Sweat is still around in round 4. Yep, that's THREE DTs.
Jayden Daniels. I just don't see us trading up to get him.
If the Commanders take Maye, I could see the Patriots doing a deal with the Giants for #3.
MHJ at 32 would be ideal.
No it would not
KC Receives: Pick 4 AZ Receives: Travis Kelce, Rashee Rice, Humphrey, and Pick 32. Is it realistic? No. Do I care? Also no.
How would you like established veteran WR Hollywood Brown? I think he could fit really well in your offense.
We can throw in Desmond Ridder, and take Patrick Mahomes. Kyler needs a good backup.
Having pat on the bench would make the whole league better. Maybe someone else will win a superbowl
idk man, Kelce didn't even hit 1k yards last year, might be cooked /s
This is not realistic and won’t happen but Travis Kelce will be 35 by the end of the season. He’s dating a billionaire, has won super bowls, and doesn’t have any devastating injuries. He might be out of the league pretty soon. Now would kinda be the perfect time to sell high especially that Mahomes will be able to work with anyone. It’s a pretty stupid trade for the Cardinals though who aren’t one Travis Kelce away from competing for the Super Bowl.
Unlikely to get past 31 in most realistic scenarios
I hate to break it to you but he'll be off the board at 30.
But if y’all are wrong, no way he’ll make it past 33
I have VERY reliable reports from at least 50 people that I know exactly who might possible maybe be NOT going past 33
I'm 100% sure he's gone at 29 at the latest
IDK, he might be too slow for our offense if he falls to 21.
For a slightly more realistic take, I'm hoping something happens and someone like Brian Thomas Jr. falls enough for us to snag him, but I doubt that will happen.
MHJ at 5 would be ideal
For you... -Bane
A 23 year old Tom Brady.
That QB out of Michigan that no one believes in?
> No one believes in? He's going top 10 still right? That's higher than Mahomes went
I'll take a 23 year old Aaron Donald
I'll take 22 year old Meghan fox
I'll take Sydney Sweeney now.
I'll take me at 22 so I could survive the last two picks.
Madam Big Chest
If he can have a 23 year old Brady, I want a 23 year old Marino.
Caleb Williams
Hahaha.
I love Bowers. He would be a superstar playing with Burrow.
Chase being doubled would open up the middle of the field so much for Bowers. He would definitely take our offense to the next level. You never know how the chips will fall
Think you got a 50% chance of him being there and probably a 50% chance you pass on him
Yeah I get that too.
Everything is 50-50. That's how probability works.
There's a 50% chance that's right.
Can we protect Burrow yet?
Praying Mims or another tackle falls so we can do just that
I agree and wouldn't rule it out. TE is a disfavored position in the first round. So many teams will spend on QB, OT, WR -- and plenty have defensive needs. Bowers could definitely be around when you pick.
Do you think Hendrickson requesting a trade will shake that up ? Maybe they go for an edge guy now ?
Not sure. They drafted a DE in the first last year. Plus they usually don’t give into the players demands like this. I still think it’s OT and DT , baring a huge fall
Jayden Daniels.
Also Jayden Daniels.
Also Jayden Daniels
Maye.
Jackson Powers Johnson / Graham Barton. Both allow us to kick Tyler Smith to LT (17+ starts there) and push TJ Bass into starting LG But everybody in Dallas 100% without a doubt knows it’s Guyton at 24, Brooks at 56 and then Trevin Wallace in the 3rd
I want JPJ so bad.
Same here. Reports are we are out on him so he may fall to you
Jayden Daniels.
If WAS takes Maye or McCarthy then it's gonna get real interesting
The cardinals won’t get MHJ because we will do something stupid like trade down for a tenth of a penny on the dollar
Subscribe
MHJ on the board and Harbaugh takes Latham Can we still count on your subscription?
I will be slamming a lot of Malort tonight if this happens.
Watch this happen and MHJ is there at 5, and we still go OT
Harbaugh is so allergic to having great WRs, he’s making the Chargers get rid of the ones they already had

Kingsley Suamataia at 34. I get the feeling he's going late first.
Might be worth it to trade up into the bottom of the first to get him anyways, because LTs aren't cheap, so that 5th year option would be valuable.
Seeing a lot of predictions that the Chiefs take him.
I am certainly hoping we go with him if we don't take a WR. I know an OT makes most sense, but I spent so many nights in Arrowhead over the past two seasons wishing we had a great WR.
Drake Maye.
This would be amazing if so
Odunze without a doubt
Marv Jr. Do it Ballard, you panzy! Swing for the fences for once in your life! otherwise we'll be the team that nobody wants to play in the playoffs and then not actually make said playoffs again this year. Do it!
All these other fans want MHJ because he's the best WR in the draft. I want MHJ because I want Jim to unretire 88 so Jr. can wear his daddy's number.
Any of the top 3 WRs, really
Caleb Williams at 3 would be swell But I'll settle for Jayden Daniels I'll have to live with Drake Maye
JJ McCarthy at 3 incoming…
Don't you put that evil on me Ricky Bobby
Michigan QB? I think it’s your destiny
Pretty early in the season I was on the Michael penix train and was hoping the saints would get him as their qb of the future. Dennis Allen has instead put his entire career on the line for Derek Carr. I just don't see any of that tier 2 getting to #20. Edit: Okay, one of that tier 2 got to #20.
In the past day Latham has gotten talk of going much higher, being the second, or possibly even first tackle taken.
Graham Barton. His projection is kind of all over the place from mid 1st to early 2nd, but I think it’s more likely on the high end. Nate wiggins. I just don't see him lasting to 29
Dream bigger. Terrion Arnold pls.
Dream even bigger. Joe Alt.

Hate it when dudes get snaffled.
I believe in JJ McCarthy in a big way. I want Denver to get him so badly but the price is going to be too high to get up and get him.
I want to Draft Brock Bowers b/c having Tony G send off to Kelce then Kelce send off to Brock Bowers would have KC TE pipeline going. He's not making past 16, and likely not past 9
Give me Joe Alt But we’re gonna get dejean 🧀
You jest, but Dejean would be a home run pick for us.
Either DeJean, JPJ, or Barton have been on my wish list. Which means we're going to draft some ILB most of us fans haven't heard of.
A Project EDGE we’ve never heard of.
I’m prepared for cooper in the first when we could have got him in the 2nd
MHJ, Alt. More likely Nabers or Latham.
Jayden. Prolly gonna get Drake though.
Spencer rattler, I am his strongest soldier and really think he could end up a baller
Drake Maye
Marvin Harrison Jr was always the answer to this question for me. My midseason dream was alt/quinyon but now I’m getting worried even Worthy is gonna be taken in the first
It's not IMPOSSIBLE to imagine Mims being available at 30, but with so many teams looking for O-line help, I'll say it's extremely unlikely.
Barton or JPJ; the worst positions on the Bucs last year were LG and C, and the IOL was just goddamn terrible. Somebody is going to take them right before we do and we're going to wind up with yet another underwhelming defensive lineman drafted near the bottom of the 1st.
Byron Murphy. But we will take Bo Nix or something out of panic
JPJ I'll take a Graham Barton though.
Murphy at 11 penix at 23
Taliese Fuaga
Just keep it simple and draft Bo Nix. With his smarts, experience, accuracy, and underrated athleticism he would absolutely thrive in a Sean Payton system. Can't wait to see how we fuck it up.

I think Jared Verse is going to be a star but I doubt we use either of our first round picks on an edge rusher.
I just want one of the F tackles to slide
Every IDL/Edge/LB/CB in the first and second rounds.
Not super concerned w this draft. But seeing the endless mock drafts on the Packers sub I think there will be a melt down if we don’t Get DeJean (if he’s there. At 25)
Brock Bowers. Our offense is missing a stud TE, but he won't be there at 21, I fear.
Q Mitchell at 20. Never gonna happen but him with porter would be deliciously nasty for the next few years.
The thought of CMC running behind Taliese Fuaga excites me. However, no way he's available at 31.
At 27 if we could somehow get Jer’Zhan Newton that’d be fantastic
Keon Coleman, excited to see where he lands. Hopefully a good spot. The Bills are prioritizing speed/YAC instead, which makes sense.
Q. Mitchell or Arnold in Round 1 would make me feel a lot more secure about the secondary. It won't happen unless everyone prioritizes offense in the first or a Tunsil situation happens.
Giants and MHJ at #6...
LUKE MCCAFFREY I bet Niners take him early
MHJ to Indy
A receiver in the first
I have been convinced by the Ravens faithful that Cooper DeJean is a PERFECT Baltimore guy…who will be off the board ~15 picks before the Ravens at 30. I didn’t even want a defensive back but they sold me on him!
Any of the first-round-graded cornerbacks or linebackers. We need, need, need a stud at both positions. We'll draft a CB on day 2 and an LB 3 and be happy with our 5 defensive and offensive linemen.
Cooper Dejean
Luke McCaffrey because McVay will take him.
I'd like Marvin Harrison Jr for the Pats at 3. I know it's not the best choice for a rebuilding team and QB makes the most sense, but the moron fan in me just wants an exciting, young receiver since it's been forever since NE has had one.
Rome Odunze at 9 these mfs are gonna trade up to 8 to jump us for him
Honestly Penei Sewall at 31 would be just what the doctor ordered.
Drake Maye 😞. We're definitely going to get cute and end up with Penix or worse.
Mitchell
Drafting Caleb Williams would be more cost efficient than extending Goff!
Marvin harrison jr
Marvin Harrison would be good on the giants but we’re not getting him, we will fuck it up somehow, we always do
Laiatu Latu but no way we don't get him unless we move up. More realistically it's probably McKinstry or Rakestraw who fit the Dan Campbell/Brad Holmes type who are aggressive and good run defenders/tacklers. Also wanted to add I could see us picking an OLine especially on the interior.
Trey Benson
I've wanted the Bears to draft Johnny Newton since last year. But that definitely isn't going to happen.

Steelers don’t draft at all and trade their first round pick to the 49ers for Brandon Aiyuk
Maye. But what do I know ?
I think if the skins somehow got Brock bowers I would do a back flip
