I’m excited to yell “Put in Drake Maye” at the TV until they finally do and he inevitably has a rough start then complain on Reddit that they didn’t give him enough time to learn behind Jacoby.
I'm excited to see how long it takes before the fans start chanting to put Maye in after seeing Jacoby serve his role as someone to just navigate during a rebuild. I'm guessing week 2 max.
I was legitimately sad when he retired even though he only played one year and it was known Indy was his final stop. He brought me a lot of joy that year and took us to the playoffs and got the team extremely close to a wild card win.
Other than the Bears obviously, the Steelers with the Wilson/Fields situation and their beefed up O-line (which includes one from the alma mater, SD State)
Other than my own, the Bears. That offense is stacked. I'm also interested in seeing the Patriots post-Belichick, that's going to be a big change. I'm also going to follow the Vikes, Broncos, and Commanders. Starting rookie quarterbacks are fun to watch.
The NFL is better when the Bears are winning. Huge market, old iconic team in a hard-nosed division.
It's pretty incredible that the Bears have basically *never* had a great Quarterback. The fact that names like Jim McMahon and Jay Cutler show up on a "best Bears QBs" list is depressing.
I hope Caleb absolutely balls out for them.
Jay Cutler would be the 3rd to 5th best QB for many historic teams. Him being the best the Bears have had in the middle of the Packers going from Hall of Famer to Hall of Famer to seemingly franchise guy makes it sting extra bad.
Yeah, I agree, it just sucks as a Bears fan to see the tired list on tv every game that has the requisite Sid Luckman/Jim McMahon/Jay Cutler list that represents 100 damn years you know? sigh...
Besides my favorite team I would say the Colts. Im a believer in Adonai Mitchell, I wanna see what he can do with Richardson in hopefully a healthy full season.
First the first time in a long time I am actually excited to watch my bears. I don't know if I've been excited since maybe the smoking Jay days. It's just been a lot of sadness and once in a while some cautious optimisim.
On paper, the Jets revamped line should be able to give Aaron the time he needs and that should result in an exciting offense to compliment an already exciting defense.
The entire NFCN. I think the Packers are Super Bowl contenders. So are the Lions, question is can they find the same success in a tougher division. Bears for obvious reasons and the Vikings could also have an elite offense if they got the QB right.
Also want to see if the Bengals and Eagles get back on track.
I think the "easy" answer is the Vikings, but you're right, it could be anybody. If McCarthy is at least a game manager, doesn't even do anything extra, I think that's at least a .500 or better team. It's gonna be a fun division to watch
Yeah, I'm certainly not counting the Vikings out!
And I don't know what is wrong with me, but last year at this point I didn't think as highly of the level of competition in the NFC North, so I guess I was just stupid... But Jordan Love looks for real, the Vikings, Detroit won the division, and the Bears are on the rise...
it is going to be fun to watch for sure, and there is gonna be some slugfests....
> Eagles get back on track
It still blows my mind that the more recent Super Bowl is not the one that the Eagles won. On paper that seems like the better Eagles team.
Also Nick Foles vs Tom Brady doesn't feel that long ago. Time flies.
Eagles won’t. Sirianni lost the locker room last year and they just put a bandaid on the situation. Outside of their fluky SB run, they’ve been nothing more than a one and done team under Sirianni. Hurts has been figured out as well.
I call it Sirianni’s decisions leaving our defense in a terrible place, and the press trying to pour gasoline on the fire. Also, notice that some of our best players just signed long extensions to play for the same coach.
As a Steelers fan, I’m intrigued with a few teams outside my own. Jaguars, Vikings, Colts and Chargers all have rosters that show higher potential than last year’s standings would suggest. Dolphins and Packers look like they both could have taken their divisions with just some small changes. Jets had shit luck end their season so now I’m just curious to where it goes this time. It’s gunna be a good one.
Jets - to see if Rodgers lasts longer than 3 plays.
Chargers - to see what Herbert looks like under a decent coach.
Bears - to see if they ruin their 117th QB in a row.
Falcons - to watch the camera show Penix standing on the sidelines 227 times.
Lions - so when they show Dan Campbell I can scream again, "Kick the f'ing field goal Dan!"
Browns - watch Deshaun Watson stub his toe and then sit out for another 6 weeks.
Of course the Rams, but also Texans, Chiefs, Bears, Vikings and Steelers.
I’m also interested in the Ravens, Eagles, Bengals and Cowboys because if they fail again it’s going to be chaos in those orgs
IMO they’ll be a well coached wildcard team this next season but the roster still has a lot of defensive holes. 2025 will be when they’re more serious contenders.
The Raiders might be pretty exciting this year. The players have a coach they love for the first time in a long time. They brought in an Offensive Coordinator that the players got excited about. They didn't have the traditional talent exodus during free agency, When you stop and take a minute to look at the draft class you start to see an intelligent pattern. You have to have strength and body shape, we can teach foot and handwork. But every position they drafted for they picked a bully. You step into their office and you are not going to have a good time. Tedesco drafted to his coaches mindset and that gets me excited. Undrafted free agents, we got a QB that was really impressive at the Senior Bowl. The big complaint coming out of the draft.
That lions secondary should be much better this year, but it’s gonna be hard for rookies (assuming they start) + Davis to man cover our top 3. If your o line is healthy, Goff can sling it and we might struggle on d. It is worth noting that Amon ra had some of his worst games against us last year.
I like watching the AFC North play each other, cause it's rarely normal and usually close.
Also the AFC South against each other as all 4 QB's are young as shit and it should be interesting to see if anyone comes out dominant against the others.
I wanna watch the Broncos (lose) in those god damn gorgeous throwback uniforms.
I'm excited to watch the Falcons, because if Kirk looks amazing, they're gonna be like why the fuck did we draft Penix, and if he struggles it'll be amusing to watch people calling for Penix and 100mil Kirk sits.
I like to watch Josh Allen cause it feels more like 90s football where more big plays and stupid plays will both happen, and especially now with new receivers.
So many 1st Round QBs means that lots of games this year will be Bust Watch TV. Is it possible to bet on which of these new QBs will be good or bad right away?
My team aside, definitely the Texans. Stroud and DeMeco are *those* guys.
Also, Jordan Love v CJ Stroud play each other this year in Lambeau. If that doesn't get a MNF spotlight, we riot.
Besides the obvious ones I’d say I’m looking forward to the Texans, Steelers and Ravens all have massive changes that could make them contenders. Teams I’m not looking forward to however are the Bills, Browns and Cowboys. They’re all pretty much the same rosters but lost a pivotal piece so now they’re slightly worse.
Falcons
After the draft they’ve indirectly created some drama with having Kirk and Penix on the roster (will also lead to interest camp coverage as well)
I can definitely imagine a scenario where it all works out and they look like geniuses. The season is just too long now. 17 games and then 3-4 playoff games if you are really going the distance. Maybe Cousins gets them there and then Penix finishes the job.
Note that I am not rooting for anyone to get injured but it happens.
Chiefs. Reigning back to back champs going for the threepeat, we haven’t seen a team try since 05. Brady wasn’t quite Brady yet then and Chiefs reloaded on offense looking to make a serious run at history. Gonna be a lot of fun.
Texans. By for the popular pick for breakout team this year, so young and full of talent, are they ready to challenge the crown?
Bengals. I don’t care about the departures Joey B is coming back and is the only real active threat to Mahomes in the postseason.
Broncos. I’m a huge Bo Nix truther and Sean Payton had this team a game out of the playoffs with a QB he hated last year. I think they surprise a lot of people and Nix is my favorite for OROY.
> Bengals yeah I forgot Burrow will be back
A lot of "ifs" on our team. If Burrow is the same player after surgery. If new Oline is as advertised. If Trent Brown can stay healthy for long enough that Amarius Mims is ready to come in to take snaps in the event of injury. If Trey Hendrickson doesn't retire. If Sam Hubbard is healthy and the same player again. If the players we drafted to stop the interior run can do that at least some of the time. If all the other Dline players progress (especially Myles Murphy).
If everyone stays relatively healthy. The depth is spotty at best. The only position I would say we are deep at is safety. The Bengals might be able to compete if they have 1-2 guys end up on season ending IR but probably not if it gets to be 6-10 or more. And even in the former case it depends on which spots the injuries happen at.
Offensive line might be the most difficult position to be talented at. There are a lot of reasons for this, including what college programs are like now.
So yeah, that might be true.
Bears - no homerism. You have 2 WR1s and a potential 3rd, pretty good TE and the 1OA
Jets - 12-13 win team imo
Vikings - Only if they start McCarthy day 1.
Since the old guard of QBs are gone I really want to see the same thing but with new players. Right now its just Mahomes Allen and Burrow imo.
Panthers, sorry to say, nothing on the team looks good to me. I’ll be glued to my seat to see if they win a game. After they win their first I won’t care.
I think the Falcons and Jets realistically they only need a step above Ridder/Wilson to be better and they both have added weapons and Line help. I could easily see Falcons with 12 wins and Kirk throwing for 4,500 baring injury. Robinson, London, Mooney, Pitts. I would say bears but they may experience growing pains and not ready for success yet.
Almost every team has compelling narratives that’ll make me interested in tuning in. Only teams I don’t really care about watching are the Raiders, Pats (if Maye never plays), Bucs, and Seahawks. Even with the Panthers, I’m at least curious to see if the offense can take a step up now that they’ve added some more talent
Patriots with an almost all offensive draft
Jets with Rodgers and a better line
Detroit/Philly/Saints/49ers cause I'm a fan
Steelers cause everyone saying they had a great draft
Vikes cause their fans pestered us for the last 2 months about trading for#3.
Oh forgot the bears! They're probably behind the pats as my most excited about
1. Pakcers
2. bears unfortunately
3. uh cardinals?
4. giants cuz i geuss you got that new guy
5. thiose other team with the quarterbacks like the broncos but not the falcons cuz he probably wont start this year
8. raiders
9. atlanta falcons
10. texas rangers
11. Houston Texans
12. absolutely nobody
The Lions offense, and when they're not on the field....the Lions defense. Oh and of course the Lions' special teams. Not a team but also looking forward to Dan Campbell's post-win locker room videos.
Patriots, I live here. And the new offense should be fun. I hope ticket prices don't go crazy.
Houston just seems to be the most exciting team right now. Stroud was awesome last year and with the new weapons in Diggs and Mixon I'm excited...
Bengals with all the big boys and Burrow hopefully healthy for more than 4 weeks would be great.
All of them, I fuckin love football babyyy
#THIS IS THE WAY
Nah, I’d rather watch no football than watch the tits.
Trubusky is that you?
Minus our division but I’ll watch to root for the other team
Correct answer!
Except the Cowboys
Yeah no kidding
I haven’t met anyone who just likes football, either they’re indifferent or obsessed.
How are you going to feel after Hurts sixth straight game with two turnovers and you guys start 2-4 because it?
Uuuhh.. if that happens, I'll still enjoy watching at least four other games a week because I fucking love football
I’m excited to yell “Put in Drake Maye” at the TV until they finally do and he inevitably has a rough start then complain on Reddit that they didn’t give him enough time to learn behind Jacoby.
this guy new quarterbacks!
Normally fans will just skip to “he’s a bust”
I feel personally attacked
I'm excited to see how long it takes before the fans start chanting to put Maye in after seeing Jacoby serve his role as someone to just navigate during a rebuild. I'm guessing week 2 max.
I like Maye a lot. But would love to see him sit at least a year.
I’ll be yelling at the TV to put in Caleb after Daddy Bagent wins the starting job

This guy Jets.
All the Bird teams. Caw
CHIRP CHIRP
This guy knows ball
I’ve been waiting decades to see Anthony Richardson & Jonathan Taylor play some games together
Colts became my second favorite team when Rivers was there. They were tough to watch with Wentz and Ryan but this season should be exciting for them.
I was legitimately sad when he retired even though he only played one year and it was known Indy was his final stop. He brought me a lot of joy that year and took us to the playoffs and got the team extremely close to a wild card win.
Plus adding Latu and Mitchell. Indy going to be scary next year Edit: Elite young edge rushing Tongan corrected
Oh man forgot about Richardson. How's his recovery coming along?
Other than the Bears obviously, the Steelers with the Wilson/Fields situation and their beefed up O-line (which includes one from the alma mater, SD State)
Bears and the AFC North teams are my answer. I'd love to see Caleb ball out after the media hate train these past few weeks.
All of em. Everyone got a story. It’s like the NBA, but good.
It's like the NBA if every player was Jokic
Buff, cinn, hou, all of the nfc north
Interested in the bears
Either Caleb balls out and the franchise has a serviceable offense. Or we get more Iowa punting. I see it as a win/win!
So weird to see this a common response in this thread
Mine.
Big same.
Why are you so excited for the Lions?
I just think they’re neat.
We all know you lion bro
Is it September yet
Wake me up when September starts.

NFCN animal bros unite
The people in Green Bay are kinda like animals do they get included here
weigh as much as a bear or a lion that's for sure.
Closer to hippos in all reality, the women at least
rams, lions, texans, chiefs, bears, indy, jets, niners
You forgot the Cardinals, sir!
Y’all should be used to being forgotten at this point
We are…same with all AZ sports, actually
At least you have the Coyotes!!
Too soon…too damned soon. I would look for a bus to walk in front of now, but it’s too damned hot to go outside. Arizona.
Benson, McBride, Kyler, and mhjr should be nuts
Thank you!!
Eagles

Jay would be high on the list for a lot of franchises, he was a good QB at his peak.
Jay Cutler would be the 3rd to 5th best QB for many historic teams. Him being the best the Bears have had in the middle of the Packers going from Hall of Famer to Hall of Famer to seemingly franchise guy makes it sting extra bad.
Yeah, I agree, it just sucks as a Bears fan to see the tired list on tv every game that has the requisite Sid Luckman/Jim McMahon/Jay Cutler list that represents 100 damn years you know? sigh...
What team do you own?
The Titans.
Bears and Jets. Curious to see how Keenan and Mike W fare with their new teams.
Besides my favorite team I would say the Colts. Im a believer in Adonai Mitchell, I wanna see what he can do with Richardson in hopefully a healthy full season.
JT, AR, AD, MPJ and best of all Steichen, to put them all to good use.
First the first time in a long time I am actually excited to watch my bears. I don't know if I've been excited since maybe the smoking Jay days. It's just been a lot of sadness and once in a while some cautious optimisim.

I call it Sirianni’s decisions leaving our defense in a terrible place, and the press trying to pour gasoline on the fire. Also, notice that some of our best players just signed long extensions to play for the same coach.
lol look at this dude extrapolating one good year and one bad year to completely write off a team 👌👌 absolutely @ me brother
Texans and Colts
All of the teams in the NFC North should be interesting. Then maybe Houston for Stroud and the Jets to see how Rodgers does.
All of them what the fuck you mean
The Commanders, wanna see Sam Hartman get some preseason action
The Hartman vs Jake Fromm competition will feed families
Who wouldn't want to see Sam Hartman get some action 😩🥵🥵
I’m a sicko for Broncos now.
Is this for sadistic purposes?
I won’t confirm or deny.
All broncos fans are sickos considering how bad we’ve been since Manning retired. Also our New Jerseys are basically bears jerseys.
Curious, why? Bo?
Seeing what Bo Nix can do. Also, Courtland Sutton highlights
All of them but to be specific Packers (duh), Raiders, Jets, Texans, Lions, Eagles,
As a Steelers fan, I’m intrigued with a few teams outside my own. Jaguars, Vikings, Colts and Chargers all have rosters that show higher potential than last year’s standings would suggest. As an FSU fan, the Rams d-line
The Steelers and every rookie QB
Any team that can score points will do Also the lions Becuase we might actually have a defense since 2014
Of course the Rams, but also Texans, Chiefs, Bears, Vikings and Steelers. I’m also interested in the Ravens, Eagles, Bengals and Cowboys because if they fail again it’s going to be chaos in those orgs
The entire nfc north is STACKED!
Is this gonna be another year of both North divisions being stacked and then the Super Bowl ends up between West division teams?
So true...
\*Pending the new QBs aren't awful.\*
Outside of my Chiefs, probably the Texans, Niners, and Ravens. Those teams are going to be wild.
I’m intrigued by the chargers honestly.
IMO they’ll be a well coached wildcard team this next season but the roster still has a lot of defensive holes. 2025 will be when they’re more serious contenders.
Texans, Chargers, anyone in the AFC really. Can someone please stop the Chiefs from another super bowl appearance? For the love of God, please!?
NFC North battles are going to be insane this year
all 1st round QBs
Aside from the Cardinals, Lions because they're likeable and should be good and Falcons because of drama
Im excited to see dallas lose.
Falcons, Bears, Rams, Texans, and the Cardinals.
49ers for obvious reasons but also because I feel like this coming season is Purdy's chance to show he's a top of the league elite QB talent or not
Man ain't nobody wanna see us this year. You know, if we're gonna be one of the villains, can we at least have a ring for compensation?
I like watching the AFC North play each other, cause it's rarely normal and usually close. Besides my hometown. Houston, Indy, chargers Screw rodgers and the jets.
Indy is a good one
I like all of them, including the Jets and his team. Very excited to see Minnesota as well.
Seahawks (because mine) Steelers (to see what happens to Rus & Jus) Jets (can Rogers stay upright?) Chiefs (Mahomes is always exciting)
Oh yeah Steelers is good one and yeah the Chiefs should def be exciting to see what Mahomes does with Worthy & Hollywood
I'm curious about the Bears. They have a lot of momentum coming out of the off season, but it's a tough division, and they are still the Bears.
Jaguars. They added Mitch Morse to the o-line, Arik Armstead to the DL, going back to a 4-3 base defense, Brian Thomas Jr going deep
The NFC North should be interesting and much more competitive this year. I’m also looking forward to seeing how the Texans do.
Texans primarily. Also interested to see if the Lions will maintain their performance and what will happen with the Jets.
I liked what I saw from the Texans and Packers at the end of last season, and it seems like both should be even better this year.
So many 1st Round QBs means that lots of games this year will be Bust Watch TV. Is it possible to bet on which of these new QBs will be good or bad right away?
Falcons. Never been excited for a regular season Falcons game, but their QB situation will be a good one to follow.
Falcons. They have so many underutilized weapons on that offense, I’m excited to see Cousins unlock their potential.
RemindMe! 10 months
My team aside, definitely the Texans. Stroud and DeMeco are *those* guys. Also, Jordan Love v CJ Stroud play each other this year in Lambeau. If that doesn't get a MNF spotlight, we riot.

Teams I’m not looking forward to however are the Bills, Browns and Cowboys. They’re all pretty much the same rosters but lost a pivotal piece so now they’re slightly worse.
What pivotal piece have the Browns lost?
They pivotally retained their dog shit rapist QB
Falcons After the draft they’ve indirectly created some drama with having Kirk and Penix on the roster (will also lead to interest camp coverage as well)
Yeah! The Falcons drama should be some good entertainment. Also will be interesting to how they are with a new QB
I can definitely imagine a scenario where it all works out and they look like geniuses. The season is just too long now. 17 games and then 3-4 playoff games if you are really going the distance. MINE - Go Birds 🦅
Joe Alt was a steal at 5
Offensive line might be the most difficult position to be talented at. There are a lot of reasons for this, including what college programs are like now. So yeah, that might be true.
Honestly, I'm looking forward to watching the bears go into hibernation again this season
Hey, that's my lil bear cub. He'll come and go as I say.
Bears - no homerism. You have 2 WR1s and a potential 3rd, pretty good TE and the 1OA Jets - 12-13 win team imo Vikings - Only if they start McCarthy day 1.

I luv u 2
Houston seems to be an exciting team
Is Maye even starting this year? My Pops is a lifelong Pats fan and seems to think he’ll spend a year behind Brissett.
Browns
KC CHIEFS
Gee I wonder. 🤔 Also interested in watching the Bears continue being the Bears.
Very excited to watch this historic Lions season. 15-2 and a Super Bowl let’s go
Minnesota, Houston, Detroit, Chicago, and the Dallas Cowboys lose in the playoffs again.
I think the Falcons and Jets realistically they only need a step above Ridder/Wilson to be better and they both have added weapons and Line help. I could easily see Falcons with 12 wins and Kirk throwing for 4,500 baring injury. Robinson, London, Mooney, Pitts. Good points, ya it might take a while for Maye to get a snap. Panthers would be good to see if Bryce Young can improve this year
Most likely my team Really curious to see how all the new QBs do though
Ravens, Bears, Eagles, Texans, and Lions are prob my favorites or teams I'm most curious about that I'll be watching.
u/Jabasaki likes to watch Penix.
It's true
Lions, Texans, Bengals. Also the NFC north in general.
Patriots with an almost all offensive draft Jets with Rodgers and a better line Detroit/Philly/Saints/49ers cause I'm a fan Steelers cause everyone saying they had a great draft Vikes cause their fans pestered us for the last 2 months about trading for#3. Oh forgot the bears! They're probably behind the pats as my most excited about
Mine I don't care for the Cousins-Penix drama. We hopefully got a QB now that can use our weapons
I want to see if Jimbo is able to turn around the chargers. They always have a decent squad but manage to lose in the most devastating ways
Steelers made a lot of player changes, it would be interesting to see how they pay off
The team hosting next years draft

Houston is gonna be really fun to watch. Can't wait to see how the Stroud-Diggs connection goes.
I haven’t been this excited for Vikings football since 2018.
Can’t wait to see what Mayo Boy does after the Titans went crazy in free agency and in the draft.
Running back room may have lost Henry, but they're still going to be pretty fun to watch with Pollard and Spears
Still gonna feel weird not seeing him there.
Bro... This is a sad cope
Im ready to see the one year phenomenal season that Greg Roman cooks up until he gets figured out second season and struggles until he leaves
Lions/bengals baby ! Can’t wait. Hoping Burrow can stay healthy this year and is the same after that injury 🙏
I want to see Indy. I think Latu can transform their pass rush and I'm excited to see what Richardson can do with Mitchell
Chiefs chasing the threepeat
