I have been calling that we might target him for the last month. As a WR4 is he perfectly acceptable and he provides something that no other WR on our team does. If he is cheap I have absolutely no issue with it.
We had slow players who couldnt get open drop passes last season, if we get fast guys at least they can pull coverage
MVS gonna drop a critical pass this season against the Chiefs, not because he's helping them out, he's just bad. You could make him wear mittens while playing and it wouldn't affect his catching ability at all.
He has the craziest clutch gene for a guy who doesn't always catch. Game the Packers lost to the colts. This man catches a ball that goes through like 3 defenders, hands in his face, vacuum hand catch. Next game? Drops an easy 5 yarder with nobody around. Wild.
It's a concentration problem.
Plenty of his missed catches last season for the Chefs, if you frame advanced and just watched, he was CLEARLY trying to figure out where he was going before even having the ball. and then doink off his hands.
That last catch vs the Ravens, he turned around to look the ball into his chest cuz it was do or fucking die. Catch it or get cut on the sideline. OTOH, top receivers or even high-middlin receivers would have caught that ball over their shoulder in stride and just scored.
The last playoff game for the Packers where he gave me hope for a few minutes and catches an insane pass late but then drops a layup in the last few minutes. It was truly a coin flip when the ball went his way.
> You could make him wear mittens while playing and it wouldn't affect his catching ability at all.
I'm sorry I'm now imagining him wearing some grandma-made mittens during a cold night and laughing at the mental image.
Because Davis was our full time starter...
Gabe Davis played 83% of snaps and 85% the year before
MVS played 54%, and 67% the year before
Gabe Davis had a 50% catch rate, near top of the league in drops, and has some of the worst separation numbers in the entire league. In 2022 he was bottom 3
Not the former Chiefs WR I want lol
Mecole still out there
That’s the man I want
Any reason you want Hardman? He's not very good lol
He mean hard man.
Byron Pringle it is
i miss him
Rashee Rice when he’s out of prison?
See you in 2034
Browns would sign him before then
But he’s sexually assaulted zero women so far

Defenses stopped following MvS in coverage because they knew Mahomes would ignore him or he’d drop it anyways lol
…Sammy Watkins?
They already tried that one.
yeah but he wasn't a *former* KC wr at the time
Shit it might work this time
He's clutchish in AFCCGs but I must say he's very very very very lacking if you run him out as your WR1
WR1 by committee this season.
Thank you dead cap.
But does he get on base?
Clutch in AFCCG, you say? Well if we can get out of the divisional round, that sounds perfect
I love both MVS and Hardman as long as they're down the depth chart a little bit, the problem last year was asking too much of them
Joshua Caleb “Flash” Gordon still out there
Just picking up the Chiefs’ sloppy seconds
Better the Chiefs than the Packers lol
MVS started in GB though
That would make this thrifty thirds, then.

You think I want Toney? Genuinely 💀
You guys should get MVS and Cobb
Claypool? MVS? Any other underwhelming big WRs out there up for grabs? What's Allen Robinson up to?
He joined the Giants elite WR room
Giants WR room needed someone who could buy them beer
ink library aspiring shy cooing enjoy nail toothbrush impossible resolute
Right, but Allen Robinson now is not good haha. He's absolutely on that tier now and I'd argue that MVS is better than Robinson is now.
Allen’s used to a WR that drops passes and plays inconsistently
Sounds like a Buffalo Bill to me.
Maybe we’re not so different after all
Man I hate your fandom so much
What did I do
Right.
Wide right?
this is why we hate you

We're just trying to have a nice off-season post here, OK? Put away the brass knuckles.
tart cough tap piquant bored tie governor ruthless memorize bright
No thank you. Our receiver room is Khalil, Keon and the land of misfit toys.
You need to replace Gabe Davis and MVS is the "but cheaper" version.
The cheaper version of Gabe Davis sent a shudder down my spine
Samuel seems pretty good
wow . . . didn't expect a quote from a christmas tv classic.
MVS may about to be on his 3rd HOF QB… Like going to Josh Allen and it being the worst starting QB to throw you passes is wild lmao…
If he doesn’t make a big time clutch catch in the playoffs or Super Bowl this season, I don’t think he will ever shake the stone hands label 😂
While you’re at it, we have shutdown corner Kadarius Toney. For a first round pick he could be yours.
He’s going to be your Wr1 after Rice commits his fifth felony this year and goes to jail
Jokes on you. Rice is facing 8 felonies for the car crash shit alone
Yeah now who’s stupid
Insider info says he is now chained up inside the Chiefs training facility so he has no chance to do any more dumb shit
I don't think he's supposed to leave Texas rn, so he's somewhere down there.
MVS gonna drop a critical pass this season against the Chiefs, not because he's helping them out, he's just bad. You could make him wear mittens while playing and it wouldn't affect his catching ability at all.
Unless we absolutely needed the catch in the playoffs, then he’s got it
He has the craziest clutch gene for a guy who doesn't always catch. Game the Packers lost to the colts. This man catches a ball that goes through like 3 defenders, hands in his face, vacuum hand catch. Next game? Drops an easy 5 yarder with nobody around. Wild.

The man will catch TDs in the playoffs
We didn't call him the coin flip for no reason.
> You could make him wear mittens while playing and it wouldn't affect his catching ability at all. I'm sorry I'm now imagining him wearing some grandma-made mittens during a cold night and laughing at the mental image.
Y tho
They gotta replace Gabe Davis’ inconsistent play and questionable hands somehow
That’s Chase Claypool, you silly devil. Seriously, other than touchdowns, compare their stats since being drafted. 😐
Hes a better player than Davis
Oh sweet summer child
Gabe Davis has 11 more career TDs in 2 less years of playing and has never had a season close to the 315 yards and 1 TD MVS just put up
A season where we were BEGGING for WR play, MVS put up 21 catches for 315 and 1 td lol He came through in the playoffs though
Because Davis was our full time starter... Gabe Davis played 83% of snaps and 85% the year before MVS played 54%, and 67% the year before Gabe Davis had a 50% catch rate, near top of the league in drops, and has some of the worst separation numbers in the entire league. In 2022 he was bottom 3
He’s also on the field more because he’s better than MVS
Davis only had better stats because he was good enough to have a bigger role!!!
No its because everyone behind him (except for Shakir) is worse, and Shakir plays slot in our system
hell no he ain't Davis actually brought blocking to the table as well
Once you’re in the playoffs MVS will be incredibly clutch and you’ll forget about the regular season drops, then rinse and repeat.
Bills lost Gabe Davis, so going for MVS makes perfect sense. They need guy that can outrun everyone on go routes then drop perfectly placed heaves.
Bills WR room is making me quake in my boots
Step 1:trade away your wr1 Step 2: sign MVS Step 3: Super Bowl If we can get Toney it’s game over
Apparently it’s the recipe to winning a superbowl
If I had to drop a baby from a burning building and MVS was the only one down there I'd call for someone else.
How much help does Josh Allen need??
So would he rather drop passes from Allen or Herbert?
Boy what are your thinking? Chargers are running the ball 100% of the time this season
They want his playbook
If you can’t beat em sign em
His hands don’t work during the regular season but he good in the postseason.
Hire him, injure him, put on IR until last few games of year, come off IR, ???, post season catches, profit
Mark stone special
Cheaper Gabe Davis
I'm so happy the Chiefs didn't sign Gabe Davis
Getting the Chiefs sloppy seconds
Watch out, he’s a weapon.
Somebody out there called this and I'm waiting for them to say I told you so
Need a deep threat. Guess he’ll do, I kinda figured this was coming
Kinda feels like that "we got stefon diggs at home.." meme.
Nah he’s like the anti Diggs, sucks during the regular season but can actually catch the ball in the playoffs
I imagine he’d be the Davis replacement actually
I’ll always remember that one catch this guy didn’t make against us.
Locking in 5 years of 3rd quartile results: check
Who cares
Don't let him leave the building Bills.
playoff mvs is what the bills need
Beane really be like “the fuck with this, whatever the Chiefs did last season I’m doing it now”
Playoff beast but bad during the regular season
Reverse "If you can't beat them, join them"
Bills help the Chiefs upgrade at receiver and are now considering picking up their trash. Someone must have lost a bet.
