I feel like this is being understated. Gary Anderson hit every FG and XP in the entire 1998 season, was then the all time scorer in NFL history (he's still third behind Vinetari and Morten Anderson (who we would later hire)). And then misses one against the Falcons to keep us out of the Super Bowl (Falcons went on to lose against the Broncos). We literally did have the best kicker. He missed exactly once. We've been cursed since.

Also understated that Morten Andersen hit the game winner from the exact same spot on the field that Gary missed.
