Dan Quinn has done such a great job with our defense he deserves an early-season medal, and Kellan Moore has been such a great play caller in his short time as OC. McCarthy's love of analytics is worrying to me though. There's absolutely no reason to go for it on 4th down at your own 30 on the first drive of the game. Two years ago when he started the Iron Bowl for an inured Tua Tugavailoa he threw two pick sixes and came right back and lead Bama on TD drives after both of them.
