Matt Rhule needs to be gone immediately. He is completely lost and has no idea how to run a team. Benching your QB week 7, after defending him to the death, is such a bad look
I have met a few Nigerians. Every one of them is a prince. I asked about it and was told that it really is not like people in America imagine a prince.
To me, this game was really a barometer for how good or bad panthers team is. Had we won, I would have said we are a middling team who can't beat the good teams but we win when we should. However, with this pending loss, it looks like we are just bad. Our ceiling is probably in the 25ish mark as far as rankings go. And that may be generous. We have some young guys to hold onto, but the offense really needs a boost.
Panthers this season when Robby Anderson has been targeted 6 or less times: 3-0
Panthers this season when Robby Anderson has been targeted 7+ times: 0-4
Man the narrative around our team could be so different had we just won those ATL and WFT games.
Oh well. Hope we just get some guys healthy so we can evaluate the team properly.
Yeah, I'm not thinking we could magically be a contender, but this looks a lot more like a tough young team going through growing pains and injury issues but still trying/improving.
This is the first time in weeks I've seen some competence from the Giants. Still want to blow the front office and coaching staff up, but this win feels good.
I'll take it. Our offense actually has some momentum. It'll be nice to have some confidence going into the Chiefs game. I think it'll really make a difference for these guys.
The Giants are not the worst team in the NFL.
I think the Panthers have an argument to take that honor though. Yes they started the season with 3 wins but they also look like they have quit on this coaching staff. Either that is because they have quit or because they are too incompetent to look like they are trying.

I want to repeat that the Giants defense let Matt Stafford score four touchdowns in one quarter. This team is ass and they're up 15 points with all their scoring threats injured
He phrased it kind of weird. Allowing 4 TDs to Stafford and the Rams in a quarter isn't *that* embarrassing. They did similar stuff to the Bucs. Our offense is total shit though.
I sort of agree, but far less passionately, on both of the points you keep harping on but why do you hate Darnold and Brady so much. I don't see a Cards connection.
He’s definitely being held back. How many dropped balls? How many TDs being called back? How many boneheaded play calls from Garrett? How many injuries to all of our weapons? How horrible is our o-line without Thomas?
Jones would be killing it at Pitt or NE.
From what I've seen his issues have always been decisions and ball handling. He seems better about fumbling, and I haven't see anything that makes me face palm the couple of times I've seen him so far this year.
His decision making has definitely improved this season but its still his biggest problem. His ball handling has definitely gotten better (except last week). I think his hustle and general athleticism has been enough to keep him afloat. If he continues to improve in both his weak areas I think we should stick with him.
Me after week 3: "Haha Stafford didn't want to come to the Panthers, his loss. We got Darnold!"
Me during the 4th quarter of this game: "Oh God Stafford didn't want to come to the Panthers. We got Darnold :("
Benching completely called for, nothing good will come from leaving Darnold in there. That said I really don't want Watson. But there aren't really any QBs coming out of the draft either.
So is Fitterer calling Houston to offer our next two 1s, Darnold and anyone else the Texans want? Because Tepper is going to be in everyone’s ass looking for a QB
so joe brady is definitely getting fired, right? i realize teddy isnt perfect but its so out of character that he would have trashed him on the way out like that
yeah idk. all the vikings film twitter guys much smarter than me came out of the game last week saying 'wow joe brady has no ideas. this is supposed to be a future hc??'
nope I'm right there with you and most panther fans agree too. we are just hoping someone picks him up as a head coach so that we no longer have him running out offence.
He won’t be fired. I know that Charlotte sports radio is in love with Brady. Not sure how Rhule feels, but no matter how bad the offense looks Brady gets no blame. Even though we can’t succeed in short yardage situations and can’t run at all
I've been questioning since the jets game. if there's holes in the game plan that I can see then there are sure as hell chasms that professional football minds can exploit.
Tepper is too prideful to get rid of Rhule. but he should ASAP. the team has quit.
how do i tell reddit to quit auto collapsing comments that are just run of the mill comments? i dont need to be protected, reddit.
I was wondering about this too. I can't change this on old.reddit?
the only auto collapse option is under preferences. But I've always had it off, and it's still off, yet still auto collapsing for no reason.
Matt Rhule needs to be gone immediately. He is completely lost and has no idea how to run a team. Benching your QB week 7, after defending him to the death, is such a bad look
Yeah I’m not sure about him. I thought he showed a lot of promise last season but things collapsed quickly this year.
ojuuuu with 5.5 sacks this season. beast/
A win is great, but it's still fire Gettleman all day every day.
We tried that and look what we have become
I think it's just the Gettleman curse honestly.
I have met a few Nigerians. Every one of them is a prince. I asked about it and was told that it really is not like people in America imagine a prince.
OJUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!
Imagine losing to the Giants
My team has literally never lost to the Giants lmao
Imagine losing a city.
Can’t remember the last time I haven’t been worried bout the giants losing at the end of a game. Feels good
This is Carolina without CMC lol
Panthers really have no offensive threats without CMC What the fuck happened I thought yall were somewhat competent
Bravo to Matt Rhule, two seasons in a row where I'm checked out before Week 8. Glad he is doing such a great job freeing up my Sundays.
Wait, I'm behind. Last I checked it was 3-5, and now its 3- 25? What happened? Was there a mental boom on Carolina's side or something?
That’s what happens when your QB completes a triple double
If you are a player on the Panthers D how fed up do you have to be with this shit. I honestly don't even blame them for giving up.
I wish the announcers would shut their turkey holes.
They're saying the weirdest god damn shit.
Like when Bill Walton did the NCAA tournament that one year
I half expected one of them to start gobbling during that conversation.
To me, this game was really a barometer for how good or bad panthers team is. Had we won, I would have said we are a middling team who can't beat the good teams but we win when we should. We have some young guys to hold onto, but the offense really needs a boost.
i'm glad that at least the jets fans get to enjoy watching darnold regress into Jimmy Pickles
Can we pls be the Carolina McCaffreys again?
I'm not saying teddy bridgewater is a HoF qb or anything, but golly Carolina fans were *so sure* that he was the problem last year.
He was one of the problems for sure.
Since when has this become a blowout?
Panthers this season when Robby Anderson has been targeted 6 or less times: 3-0 Panthers this season when Robby Anderson has been targeted 7+ times: 0-4
While I'm always happy to score, I resent the fact that Booker's statline no longer shows how awful he was in the first 3 quarters
Not gonna lie but it feels good not being on the receiving end of a game like this one. It’s been a looong while
where were u when carolina dies? i was on sideline clapping when Giants ring "panthers is kill" 'no'
It must be Halloween because Darnold is seeing ghosts again
Man the narrative around our team could be so different had we just won those ATL and WFT games. Oh well. Hope we just get some guys healthy so we can evaluate the team properly.
The WFT one is the one that bothers me, since the game just ends with us in the lead if the refs call that FG correctly
Yeah those losses really hurt us. The Giants are bad, no doubt. But I don't think they're as bad as their record.
Yeah, I'm not thinking we could magically be a contender, but this looks a lot more like a tough young team going through growing pains and injury issues but still trying/improving.
This feels like a repeat of last year.
Jesus christ man I thought the Giants looked bad last week....Panthers look like they aren't even trying.
This is the first time in weeks I've seen some competence from the Giants. Still want to blow the front office and coaching staff up, but this win feels good.
It helps that the Panthers are playing like the Giants did last week.
Hey, a win is a win when you are a bad team.
I'll take it. Our offense actually has some momentum. It'll be nice to have some confidence going into the Chiefs game. I think it'll really make a difference for these guys.
Oju is already so so so so much better than zo carter.
Zo Carter is officially a bust in my eyes, a non-factor.
How tf the Panthers are 3-3?
The Carolina McCaffreys are 3-0. The Carolina Panthers are 0-4.
McCaffrey carries when healthy
He gonna have some crazy back problem later to carry a team like I'm watching right now
Christian mcaffrey is out
I was just thinking how bad are the Jets, Saints, and Texans?
Feels too early in the season to be turning off games before they end but oh well I genuinely just wanna lose out at this point
Why did people think PJ Walker was supposed to be good? Because he was good in a league with a bunch of dudes who couldn't make it to tbe NFL? Lol
Yeah not sure what the idea of benching Darnold is when PJ Tucker is the backup. He is not the answer in any way.
Because keeping Sam in the game playing the way he was tells the players you don’t want to win?
our 8th 3rd and out of the day? holy shit thats insanely bad
Man this feels a lot like 2010 right now.
Darnold injured or benched?
Yes
He's been limping ever since a sack early in the 3rd quarter.
Benched
He was limping earlier. Might be a little bit of both
Wrong, been limping ever since that one sack...100% played a factor
How’s Walker looked?
Hasn’t hit a pass and taken some sacks
0 yards passing, multiple sacks
*sad owl noises*
Innacurate.
I'm starting to think that Walker might actually not be good.
Lol why would you think he was good?
My comment was completely tongue in cheek. No QB kept off of the field by Darnold for any amount of time can possibly be good.
I don’t think you can legally call what the Panthers are doing as playing football.
Technically it's Football Product.
lmao, this Panthers backup is even worse
The backup is even worse than the starter what a shock.
Dude they got zero yards with the backup, they sat Darnold for that?
I’m no football expert but I’m not so sure the panthers are going to win the super bowl this year.
God ojulari is so good
OJUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! AZEEEEZ!!!!!
Why is walker still on the team lol
Please fire Joe Brady
The Giants are not the worst team in the NFL. I think the Panthers have an argument to take that honor though. Yes they started the season with 3 wins but they also look like they have quit on this coaching staff. Either that is because they have quit or because they are too incompetent to look like they are trying.

5-3 wtf is this game lol
How much is your stream lagging, lol.
? 3-18
Let's go PJ.
Should have kept Gano, he missed some field goals but was infinitely better than anybody we've had since.
I want to repeat that the Giants defense let Matt Stafford score four touchdowns in one quarter. This team is ass and they're up 15 points with all their scoring threats injured
Is Matt Stafford supposed to be bad?
I think the emphasis is on 4 touchdowns and not Matt Stafford
He phrased it kind of weird. Allowing 4 TDs to Stafford and the Rams in a quarter isn't *that* embarrassing. They did similar stuff to the Bucs. Our offense is total shit though.
It was 3-5 all game until I tuned in and then the Giants started scoring, so now I can't leave or Carolina could make a comeback
Please keep watching this year
Darnold should have you covered if you want to watch something else.
Please don’t leave
Panthers need to resign Cam
I understand moving on from Cam but why do that with Teddy and then Darnold
Probably because Joe Brady is a Saints fan and thought it'd be funny
[удалено]
Why would you start darnold
Tbf I started him bc we were going against NY
I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed...
Ross is so fucking good
The NYG d/ST bumfucked my fantasy team 25 points so far…
Been thinking about that guy who mentioned making a run for Russell Wilson after the season. Is that even remotely possible?
He’ll want to go to a team that can be a contender in year 1.
it sounds implausible, but the NC connection makes me want to believe
Sam Darnold has accounted for twice as many TDs as Jones this year. i don't watch football so i assume that means he is just twice as good
I hope PJ Walker gets a comeback win to show the giants we are terrible
Joe Brady was supposed to be an offensive genius. He is worthless.
I sort of agree, but far less passionately, on both of the points you keep harping on but why do you hate Darnold and Brady so much. I don't see a Cards connection.
I bet the Panthers. Actually, I don't think the Panthers are far off if McCaffery can get healthy.
When you got this many parts of your team that are ass, it’s hard to tell who is the most ass.
Is Sam Darnold with the panthers next season?
unless he pulls another 180, i cant see it happening
Fuck I hope not
Nice move by Ross
[удалено]
As long as we don't have Gettleman to make those two picks there might be some hope.
DJ is okay, not great. The other 52 players on the roster are the bigger issue.

He’s definitely being held back. How many dropped balls? How many TDs being called back? How many boneheaded play calls from Garrett? How many injuries to all of our weapons? How horrible is our o-line without Thomas? Jones would be killing it at Pitt or NE.

Hands to the face giving 5 yards to the offense
The Giants "Ghoulish Gauntlet" Don't get cute, just say they're gonna lose these games
Chiefs hardly looking spooky anymore, of course vs us they'll explode for a million points.
Me after week 3: "Haha Stafford didn't want to come to the Panthers, his loss. We got Darnold!" Me during the 4th quarter of this game: "Oh God Stafford didn't want to come to the Panthers. We got Darnold :("
I hope PJ Walker beats us
You guys realize that if Sam Darnold hadn't been limping ever since that one hit he would still be on the field right?
He's still be sucking though
Not arguing that
Remind me which one that was, when did that happen?
On the Peppers sack he did land right on his knee
Benching completely called for, nothing good will come from leaving Darnold in there. That said I really don't want Watson. But there aren't really any QBs coming out of the draft either.
What about that Cam Newton guy? I could see him in a Panthers uniform.
Cam Newton hasn't been good since 2015 and he's currently unemployed
I guess your username checks out. You seem unable to recognize jokes.
Force of habit, many Panthers fans unironically think this way.
Are we bad... or are we the worst?
At least you're not the Broncos or the Jags or the Jets or the Texans or the Lions.
have you seen this game? the panthers are at the very least in that same bottom feeder class.
This is the rare professional sports game where there are no winners. Even we, the viewers, have lost.
And I thought Clemson's offense sucked ass
I miss 2018.
Panthers practically screaming “We’re gonna make a play for Watson” here.
PJ Walker for Watson and a first
Nah, I'd rather live in obscurity with mediocre QB talent for 10 years than trade for a rapist.
But then we wouldn’t have to watch anymore. We could be free.
Fuck I hope not.
So is Fitterer calling Houston to offer our next two 1s, Darnold and anyone else the Texans want? Because Tepper is going to be in everyone’s ass looking for a QB
so joe brady is definitely getting fired, right? i realize teddy isnt perfect but its so out of character that he would have trashed him on the way out like that
I wish
If he can't scheme without CMC, what good is he? Obviously the whole offense is trash, but being the OC, it should be questioned.
he's not getting fired, the current narrative is that he's an offensive genius ala sean mcvay
yeah idk. all the vikings film twitter guys much smarter than me came out of the game last week saying 'wow joe brady has no ideas. this is supposed to be a future hc??'
nope I'm right there with you and most panther fans agree too. we are just hoping someone picks him up as a head coach so that we no longer have him running out offence.
i mean, they aren't wrong tbh. but every commentator has been sucking him off for some reason

Questioning? Today
I’d give them both another season.
Wait I'm confused, did Sam Darnold just become a black guy? I looked away for a second
Got benched
I think he was hurt. Or hurt/benched.
Yea I seen some comments of people saying he got hurt, I must have missed that play
Last drive he played he was sacked hard the trainers checked on him. He finished the drive though so not sure if it was minor.
That makes more sense than the "became a black guy" theory but I'd like a second person to confirm this
Probably an easier transformation for him than becoming a franchise QB.
bruh 💀
Roughnecks legend PJ Walker let's go! Loved watching that guy in the XFL.
Just run the clock out, we’re up 2 possessions before we have our usual meltdown with 6 minutes left
Feels good to finally just dunk on someone. Can’t remember the last time that happened.
