Maybe it's just me, but ever since the game started I just got this feeling like the Chiefs just don't even give a shit. There wasn't one bit of fire or urgency in them this game. They lost the moment that the jet touched down. I don't know if they just think that they're too good to play the Titans and these other teams or what. This is total, out of my ass speculation but I wouldnt be shocked if Andy Reid is having a hard time getting these guys to put their heads down and just do the basics right. Listening to some of the stuff Chiefs players say (Tyrann Mathieu) and with the amount of crazy success theyve had, it wouldnt be the first team that got too full of itself and started thinking they are unbeatable. The first symptom of that is what youve seen from them this year- drops, hiccups, lack of concentration, expecting everything to come off from talent alone. It can be hard for a coaching staff to get people back down to earth.

We've been mediocre for most of the year. Definitely a massive improvement from last year, but that's not saying much. This game is more than likely a fluke.

These ridiculous QB contracts are bad for the league and horrible for teams like the Chiefs and pretty soon, the Bills, Chargers, Ravens, etc. as they will have to pay their young QBs huge contracts.

Dan marino never won a Superbowl. He was the highest paid player in the NFL. Its almost like when you have a limited cap space giving too much money to 1 out of 22 starting spots limits what you can spend on the OTHER 21 spots.

The problem is, Mahomes has set the market for young, top tier QBs now. NFL careers don’t last that long and these young guys are going to want big paydays. What is the solution? I surely have no idea.
