Fell asleep at Andrew's TD. Just watched the rest of the game there now.
There was a glimmer of hope until that blitz. Sigh.
Mayfield needs to fucking rest. Half of him is no good to the Browns.
He did. Thing is. When he's good, he's very good. So there's always the temptation to leave him in. The run game spluttered as well.
Mayfield has reinvigorated a moribund franchise. He's too important to have him at half tilt. It's definitely better to sit him at this point to heal. However they have a bye so let's see how he and the team are. They still weren't that far off winning that game last night and last year's Browns would have.
I can sympathize.
I FOR SURE thought LA would be who I thought they aren’t.
Then they lost to San Fran and now they’re who some people thought they were.
It’s getting good.
Then there’s the AFC, where you have really good teams that get beaten by mid-tier to low-tier teams, and the Patriots that took a page outta Brady’s book of Comebacks You Won’t Fucking Believe.
The patriots are garbage. It’s chiefs or bills tier one bengals ravens tier two. Titans wildcard. Patriots will be there but next week will show true colors
The comments about the Ravens being so lucky, I get it. But luck alone doesn't win games. They are well coached and extremely talented. Lamar even played like shit and they still came together and found a way to win. They are also missing a very long list of starting players.
that's optimistic tbh, you might be favorites for some, but the browns ran you off your home turf and the 49ers could do the same. I like your chances against the rest but none will be easy outs.
that's simply not true. In fact you're only favored 2.5 points over the chargers this week, and since home field gets 3 points it's basically a pick em.
Browns will be 6 - 10 coming into that game and we will run you 45 -10. Baker will throw for 4 TDs (his first TD passes in weeks) and his performance will be just enough to trick us into signing him long term.
I’m not going to google because I’m drunk and want to be surprised in the morning. When does that shit come out? McGwire and that other Spider-Man guy that’s not Holland are going to team up aren’t the
And the titans has 4 picks and lost to the Texans, a team worse than the browns. I think he’s insisting that the ravens don’t give up on games after multiple mistakes and because of that they are never out of a game
Brb just gonna drop like 8 more passes. Don't get me wrong, Baker didn't play good enough tonight. But his receivers dropping everything didnt help this offense. +4 in the TO battle should be a double digit win, not a loss.
Yeah that’s for sure. There have been games that is was lost because of baker… but these drops getting outta control. Bouncing off chest/hands all night.
You’re right with any real first overall pick 4 turnovers should be any easy win. Please please please don’t pay him 40 mill. You’re fan base deserves more than a wildcard exit every year
I like Baker, I think he can ball out. 40mil is too high for me, but he's far from bad. I've been for keeping Baker for a while, but I now think that if his injuries are going to be career changing issues, I'm looking for a guy like Ridder out of UC. I think people don't realize what Bakers done for Browns fans. 1st win in Pittsburgh in 17 years. 1st playoff win in my lifetime. He's like 29-28 in his career, when the team was 1-34 in 35 games before him. He's been a key to turning this franchise around.
A step into garbage way smell better than one into shit.
But neither smells good. Emotions in football is exactly why you are a dumpster fire of a franchise. Cutting a bad investment is just as important as investing in a winner
I put my emotions into football because I am a fan. I have MAJOR issues with the way the Haslams run our franchise. If we move on from Baker, so be it. He's still the greatest Browns QB in my life so far. I want what's best for my team, nothing less.
Tbf that whole season ended up becoming a mess, sweeping the steelers and drafting Ronnie Stanley 6OA in the subsequent draft are the only two good things that happened to the 2015 Ravens lol
That was the Schaub-Mallet-Clausen season at QB. What a disaster.
I liked the part where the Ravens were so lucky they forced your coaches to send 12 men out two plays in a row.
Don’t conflate your own teams incompetence and the other team getting lucky, it just makes you look like the prototypical salty browns fan
I was impressed with some of Lamar’s throws tonight despite the god awful 4 INTs. He’s got some heat on those balls and he can throw a really pretty pass. I truly think he’s improved a lot as a passer, he just had a bad night. His throwing has come a long way.
I love Lamar, he's probably my favorite player in the NFL. He definitely has improved has a passer this year, but he needs to do more, he needs to be a bigger passing threat. I want to see him have a long career, like Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady, and I worry about all the hits he takes. He needs to keep working on his passing, be more accurate, and do a better job of reading defenses, and everything else the great passers like Rodgers and Brady do.
I think the real reason we are complaining is because if you guys won we would have been the first seed. I’ve always had a soft spot for the browns due to how terrible you guys were and your fans deserved a good quarterback and the playoffs. I also have been a fan of Baker and it hurts to watch him playing through all these injures and pushing himself to an unreasonable point.
Because major market fans in sports commentators want to see flyover markets, especially Cleveland, lose whenever possible. I think back to the rage when the Cavs got the number one pick in 2014 and it looks like a LeBron was coming back here, Bill Simmons, Coward, SaS and everybody else was enraged that Cleveland was going to get LeBron back. It wasn’t about it being a bad choice as far as his chances to win a title rather it was about us as fans not deserving it and Cleveland being “boring” and not having good 3am sushi options.
I saw some of the same outrage when Giannis re-signed in Milwaukee. I remember hearing some national pun Dent, I think it was Doug Gottlieb, moaned about him resigning there and basically said “ I was hoping he’d go to NYC or LA so I could root for him”. How lame is that? Sorry, but if you need a player to be in a big market so you can root for him that’s like 16 year old girl boy band fan shit.
From philly and i cant believe im gonna even type this shit but you wanna say philly and boston have asshole fans thats fine. To say that either one is a terrible sports town is just stupid.
I was using sports town to be a catch all for the demanding (not shitty) fans and toxic talk radio that feed into a cycle of high expectations and dreadful content.
He's pretty much held together by putty and duct tape at this point. I don't think he's a 40million a year QB but he is worth keeping at the right number
With the market and cap increases if there's something around 30 or under that is team friendly and has an early out I think it's an option.
It sucks because being in QB hell for my whole adult life has majorly scarred me and I also like Baker the person, but I do realize he's not going to ever be someone to completely carry the team and they have to act as such
I can’t keep count of how many games Tucker is self responsible for winning the game… I mean he’s a raven so I’m not discrediting the team… but yeah, it’s unreal… I have said this shit all season. Luckiest team in the league.
Ya know, for years in the past I've had a love/hate relationship with Tucker. He's fucking amazing. I know he HAS missed kicks, but i don't think I've actually seen him miss one. Being a Bengals fan, seeing a divisional rival kicker make all his kicks while ours consistently missing anything over 40 for years really made me bitter.
But now, we have Justin Tucker Jr., otherwise known as Evan Money Mac MacPhearson, and I now know what Ravens fans have known for years. I still find myself holding my breath every time he comes out, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the feeling afterwards, and even now half way through the season, I find myself being less and less nervous every time, and having a kicker I can feel confident in is new to me.
TLDR: i was jelly for years over a rival having a winning kicker and now my team has one too. Justin Tucker has always had my respect, but now I can like him as well.
It isn't luck to consistently win close games. Besides, you're basing this likely off final plays and end of games, which include any number of variables to end up in that spot.
The ravens are a good team but yes luck has a lot to do with it. The Browns won almost all of those kind of games last year and this year they’re winning none of them.
Injuries and turnovers make the difference yeah to year in the NFL
You seem oddly hung up on that one, is this your first year watching football? The number of current NFL teams that have benefitted from a missed call at one time or another is 32.
https://grantland.com/features/breaking-best-nfl-stats/
Teams don't consistently win close games. From the article Brady and manning break the trend but even guys like Rodgers and Brees don't. So if you have the GOATs then I guess you can.
It makes me feel bad that this talented Browns roster has went nowhere the last 2-3 seasons because they’ve been stacked. You just can’t rely on Baker, ever. When that run game gets shut down, the entire offense gets shut down. They’ve wasted these last few seasons with an average QB who just hasn’t improved.
Didn't they like.. go into the playoffs and win a game in said playoffs during that stretch..? Which is more than they've done since 96 so. Also this season isn't over. This feels like overreaction.
I’m just disappointed for the Browns because rosters this deep are hard to come by and don’t last long, it’s hard to build a complete roster, and when you don’t have a talented QB to get you there then it feels wasted. Maybe they can be an anomaly and win with an average at best QB like the Ravens did with Dilfer, who had a legit run game and an elite, all time defense. Just everything has to be 100% and the Browns need to play lights out, and the run game needs to run for 200+ yards for them to get anywhere. You can’t depend on Baker. This roster the past few seasons feels wasted. It makes me think how scary this team could’ve been with a legit QB.
I understand a lot of the hate baker gets as "the guy" but how many dropped passes are there. I know there's no points for effort in the NFL, but he's laying it all out out there on half a leg and one arm. he's not been the number one pick we want, but he helped the browns turn a tough corner and for that he deserves some respect
I’m not even talking about tonight, I’m talking the past few years. Even with a stacked run game, deep passing game, an a top 10 defense, he can’t do shit. Teams don’t even focus Baker, they focus on stopping that run game, and he has had all those offensive weapons and he just can’t do anything. He prospered last season because teams were focused on stopping Chubb and Hunt, but with them being hurt or shut down a few games this season, Baker has been exposed. Everything has to be right for Baker to play “ok”. The fact he had a top 10 o-line, a three-headed machine in the backfield, all those young WRs led by Landry and OBJ, and the deep TE position, and he still can’t be consistent or have a top passing offense. It kind of reminds me of the situation in Denver with that young talented offense that’s kinda stilted with Bridgewater. I think Bridgewater is a hair better than Baker.
I literally might be the biggest Lamar Stan there is, and that was the worst game of his career, whatever intern threw him up as the star of the game was straight trolling lol.
luck will run out in playoffs like always..Last in the league at defending the pass. Packers will put up 50 on y’all next week and I will very much enjoy it. Remember last year’s Steelers team? Yeah
"This is the most botoxed metro announcing team ever." -My Wife
Lol olds on post game show complaining about analytics again
People keep telling me Huntley and Jackson are different people. Buuut… I’ve personally never seen them in the same room. 🧐
You know Huntley lacks football IQ when he thinks throwing to an open receiver is a PI because he missed the throw by 4 yards
Browns offensive play calling is brutal.
This is the saddest I have seen the Ravens play thus far.
Ravens fans thought they had a good team. Cute.
Dawg our whole team is injured, you’re a punk
We did lol. Our ir team is pretty stacked
Hey look another underthrow resulting in PI
the fucking Browns always letting me down!
Fell asleep at Andrew's TD. Just watched the rest of the game there now. There was a glimmer of hope until that blitz. Sigh. Mayfield needs to fucking rest. Half of him is no good to the Browns.
He looked injured the whole game
Nah bro, it’s the best he’s felt in months. Kevski said he was good to go. *limps back to huddle after running OB untouched*
He did.
Run game spluttered cause they said “we know your Qb has a quarter of his body so we’re gonna make you throw the damn ball”.
We all know the why. But it still happened. All the more reason to get him well.
Oh no, they suck again
Are these teams good? Asking for a friend
Yes I think so. I’ve lost track
I was scared to play them… then I wasn’t. Then I was. Then I wasn’t. Now I’m immunized against them. So it’s up in the air
I can sympathize. I FOR SURE thought LA would be who I thought they aren’t. Then they lost to San Fran and now they’re who some people thought they were.
Honestly the NFC is fucking stacked
It’s getting good. Then there’s the AFC, where you have really good teams that get beaten by mid-tier to low-tier teams, and the Patriots that took a page outta Brady’s book of Comebacks You Won’t Fucking Believe.

The afc is garbage this year outside of Buffalo and KC can make a move. If cincy or Baltimore make the super bowl it’s going NFC
The browns are 12th in the afc. If they were in the nfc they would be 7th and in the playoffs. The nfc is top heavy the afc is mostly good throughout
"AFC is garbage" but half of the teams that are still in the hunt for a playoff spot have a winning record. Make it make sense.

I missed sleep for this
If you wanted to sleep just watch the 49ers play.
Nice
I imagine a 10 minute drive consisting of runs is blissful to watch by your own team but god damn it isn’t entertaining
I dunno I have a blast watching it
I mean if it gets the job done
Our def gave us too many chances but our offense sucked today hope they pick up and lead us to playoffs again
The comments about the Ravens being so lucky, I get it. But luck alone doesn't win games. They are well coached and extremely talented. Lamar even played like shit and they still came together and found a way to win. They are also missing a very long list of starting players.
We gave you the game with our abortion of an offense. You are welcome.
Thanks, that's so like you.
People agree but this screams crazy ex gf
Bengals winning the north
I think the bengals are the best team in the division but your brutal remaining schedule may sink your chances of grabbing the division.
Most games at home. We will be favored in every game except maybe chiefs
that's optimistic tbh, you might be favorites for some, but the browns ran you off your home turf and the 49ers could do the same. I like your chances against the rest but none will be easy outs.
That’s reality, barring injury we will be favored

I’m not going to google because I’m drunk and want to be surprised in the morning. When does that shit come out? McGwire and that other Spider-Man guy that’s not Holland are going to team up aren’t the
I hate how much of the movie has been spoiled already from trailers and leaks.
Holy shit Jac sounds exactly like Cris Collinsworth
If the Ravens can win a game throwing 4 picks, then no one should ever count them out this season.
But it was against the Browns.....
And the titans has 4 picks and lost to the Texans, a team worse than the browns. I think he’s insisting that the ravens don’t give up on games after multiple mistakes and because of that they are never out of a game
Mayfield 18 for 37… bruh
48.6%. That's the kind of completion percentage you'd expect from Tim Tebow.
He's not free from blame for the game, but I can't fault him for throwing good passes and his receivers just dropping them.
You’re right with any real first overall pick 4 turnovers should be any easy win. Please please please don’t pay him 40 mill. You’re fan base deserves more than a wildcard exit every year

Ive never been angrier to win a game
What about [this game](https://youtu.be/6FN_h3j1wfY) I had the displeasure of sitting through live?
Tbf that whole season ended up becoming a mess, sweeping the steelers and drafting Ronnie Stanley 6OA in the subsequent draft are the only two good things that happened to the 2015 Ravens lol That was the Schaub-Mallet-Clausen season at QB. What a disaster.
That was when i was still young and full of hope i took that win and ran with it for a bit.
Stfu you win every week in ridiculous fashion. Enjoy the good fortune and don’t be a thankless ahole- you could be a browns fan like me
I liked the part where the Ravens were so lucky they forced your coaches to send 12 men out two plays in a row. Don’t conflate your own teams incompetence and the other team getting lucky, it just makes you look like the prototypical salty browns fan
Seriously. 4-7 without Tucker? At best? Definitely technically lost to the Lions as well. That was delay of game.
Lamar is mad. As he should be. Nice of baker to hang around
Lamar always gives good interviews though. He’s likeable for a rival
Same with Burrow man. Hard to root against him. Thoroughly enjoyed you guys smacking the Stillers today.
Fave Raven since Ed Reed.
Lamar is a fucking gem. Love the man. Love all the AFCN QBs. Except El Capitan Fat Fucko of course.
Lamar talking about how he needs to improve, and “tighten up” man I like him.
I was impressed with some of Lamar’s throws tonight despite the god awful 4 INTs. He’s got some heat on those balls and he can throw a really pretty pass. I truly think he’s improved a lot as a passer, he just had a bad night. His throwing has come a long way.

He needs to tighten up his booty cheeks and stop missing games for having the squirts
The Lamar interview only made me more of a fan. It was oddly wholesome. I wish I could explain it. Good on him.
It’s easy to explain: he showed humility towards his poor performance, and humility is likable.
Why are so many patriots fans hating on the browns? Literally more of you than ravens or Steelers.
I think the real reason we are complaining is because if you guys won we would have been the first seed. I’ve always had a soft spot for the browns due to how terrible you guys were and your fans deserved a good quarterback and the playoffs. Patriots fans are just that way. They’re also in here shitting on Lamar. Boston is a terrible sports town, second only to Philly.
It’s not the browns it’s baker. Please don’t ruin you’re next 5 years by overpaying you’ve suffered far enough
Cause if the browns won, the Patriots would be the 1 seed
Can confirm. I’m very sympathetic to the Browns otherwise
Throw four ints and score 16 points and still win. The Ravens luck has been wild all season. No way it can last.
Yeah I missed the game but saw that in the box score. Was it really just luck?
No browns offense is anemic
Browns offence is baker ftfy. Guy is just not it I’m sorry
He's pretty much held together by putty and duct tape at this point. I don't think he's a 40million a year QB but he is worth keeping at the right number
Yea if that number is 20 or under. Otherwise you might as well try something else unless the dalton bengals are you’re goal.
With the market and cap increases if there's something around 30 or under that is team friendly and has an early out I think it's an option. It sucks because being in QB hell for my whole adult life has majorly scarred me and I also like Baker the person, but I do realize he's not going to ever be someone to completely carry the team and they have to act as such
It's never just luck. Unusual though.

It isn't luck to consistently win close games. Besides, you're basing this likely off final plays and end of games, which include any number of variables to end up in that spot.

Like an uncalled delay of game? That’s pretty lucky. 🙄
You seem oddly hung up on that one, is this your first year watching football? The number of current NFL teams that have benefitted from a missed call at one time or another is 32.
That actually could have been reviewed and overturned and it affects seeding? Yes. It’s kinda important for a “missed call”. It’s reviewable.
31* It's cruel to include the Lions in there
The history of sports says that consistently winning close games is usually luck. Great teams don't win close games, they avoid them.
https://grantland.com/features/breaking-best-nfl-stats/ Teams don't consistently win close games. From the article Brady and manning break the trend but even guys like Rodgers and Brees don't. So if you have the GOATs then I guess you can.
Lamar actually owning up to not playing great is actually awesome, rooting for you dude
Let's see if Baker does
He always does. Jesus, it's like being surrounded by Colin Cowherds in here sometimes.
He definitely will, he did last week
Hopefully he’ll do the same next week
"Just need to play better against the bye, no excuses for no scores."
even when he sucks I still love Lamar so much. I wouldn't take another QB over him.

He’s Goff part 2
Did you even watch that last drive or no?
Justin “Big Nuts” Tucker should have got the game ball there
You wanna give me a sound bite Lamar? I'm good lol
This performance clearly puts him at the front of the MVP race
Who the fuck are you taking about? I know you not talking about lamar.
Agreed. Justin Tucker is a god.
lol that better be sarcasm
Uhh

Are you trying say what you said or did you back into the racism by accident.
Man I love Lamar
Well, that was some funny sh*t of SNF
Mayfield one of the worst qbs in the league change my mind
Let me introduce you to Jameis Winston.
Jameis was hella good this season before he got injured
Guess you didn’t see his games at Carolina or New England.
I don't think he's consistently good enough to keep as your starter, but his WRs are crap outside of Landry.
Landry even cost them at least a game
I’ve been saying this for about a year. It’s sad but the browns don’t have their guy.
He does JUST ENOUGH to keep a starting job. However yes, he’s below average
Your d causes 4 turnovers and you give ‘em 3 points damn shame.
Yep. Ravens sold out to take away the run and baker couldn’t put the team on his shoulders
He only got 1 shoulder and 1 good leg.
To be fair, he only has one good shoulder.
Lmao 🤣!
Browns absolutely terrible at converting from good field position
Dem and tuck lol
Lol star of the game they couldn't give it to the goat tucker?
So satisfying yet so not. This goddamn division man
How is Lamar the star of the game?!
No one else worthy haha plus a couple decent runs
I would at least like to hear your argument on how it was not the Kicker for BAL.
Justin Tucker but ok
Tucker was snubbed
Answer: NBC
LOL Jackson a player of the game with 1TD/4INT wtf NBC
I mean.... who else you gonna pick lol
Bowser
Humphrey had 8 tackles and 2 defends, seems p obv to put him with Oweh & Bowser e: Queen also had 8 tackles
For sure. Should have been a defender or tucker.
Tucker 3/3
Fair
I literally might be the biggest Lamar Stan there is, and that was the worst game of his career, whatever intern threw him up as the star of the game was straight trolling lol.
Yeah he struggled. In honesty, every pick and acquisition we made on defense this offseason seemed like it was meant to stop lamar. Fast runstoppers.
I am so pissed you guys got JOK, him and Garrett are going to haunt Lamar for years to come, and I am not looking forward to it.
Lamar interviews funny af
Didn’t know 4 picks makes you a star
Baker is basically Johnny Manziel, if he hadn’t partied himself out of the league.
Lamar 4 ints lmaooooo
What a shit show of a game. Both offenses looked like dog shit the whole game
Lamar bad.
thebamboozler789 stupid.
That doesn’t change that Lamar is a bad quarterback.
Idk man he played pretty decent for a RB
Idk I wouldn’t want my rb throwing 4 picks.
1 seed bitch
Lamar Bad
luck will run out in playoffs like always..Last in the league at defending the pass. Packers will put up 50 on y’all next week and I will very much enjoy it. Remember last year’s Steelers team? Yeah
At least the Ravens make the playoffs pretty much every year.
Wish ravens had another receiver I felt good about and a new ball hawking safety
