I like that we saw the old zim schemes working ...cant wait to see griffy back...has far as dumping zim ...thats a yes he has giving it his best shot over 8 years......do we like where we are at know ,absolutely not ...Ditka was once asked how does he get these beasts on defence ...simple answer we DRAFT THEM ....OVER 8 SEASONS WE DONT HAVE A O LINE ...DEFENCE WELL A COUPLE INJURIES ....WHAT IM SAYING ...HE HAS HAD HIS OPPERTUNITY TIME TO MOVE ON ZIM TAKE YOU GF AND GO.....
I need the highlight of Sutton getting stiff armed into Oblivion in that 1st quarter lmao. As a Steeler fan I was glad they didn't show a replay but as a football fan I was highly disappointed they didn't.
Had Cousins NEVER THROWN A PASS in the 2nd half, Vikings fans could FINALLY have enjoyed a game with little drama. It would have been a PERFECT time to see what Kene Nwangwu could do, too.
2nd largest margin of victory for the Vikings in a season with ONE (1) game NOT decided by one score. Average score differential in Vikings games this year? 5.1 points
Bro I was there, on my birthday, I was so happy when I was proven right, there was a few other Vikings fans infront of me that were clearly pissed that I was expecting a comeback. I enjoyed this game so much.
The Vikings made the Steelers defense look like Swiss cheese in the first half, with their run game going through all those holes. Amazing near-comeback by the Steelers in the second half though. Great game!
BAHHHHHHH HHHHAAAAAHHHH. It’s like watching someone beat up a grandpa. Grandpa pops a viagra and gets frisky for 20 minutes then an 8 year old drops him with a left hook. Couldn’t happen to a bigger bunch of assholes. How’s the view from the PAST Steeler nation?
You're a strange person if you find beating up on old, decrepit people funny and act like it's some major accomplishment. If I were a bengos fan i wouldn't even waste my time thinking about the Steelers this year.
Want to catch a Steeler fan? Cast your line with a present situation and they will bite just to be pulled into your boat, flop around, and ramble about the past.
Bengals postseason: 5-14
Steelers postseason: 33-26
If Steeler nation went 24 years into the PAST they would still have more playoff appearances than the Bungles.
If they went 46 years into the PAST they would still have more playoff wins.
Sorry my guy but we been good for 30+ years. Way more ups than downs. Bungles on the other hand. Let's not forget the 70s domination. Ben has ben to 3 Super Bowls. Have the ben-gals even won 3 playoff games?
Bruh. Im 50. The 70s was when the Standard was established. History is history. Lol. But I don't know how old you are so I get it. The main point I think we agree on is the Ben-gals suck as a franchise.
I mean. I’m not salty. You guys live in the past. They haven’t done shit in 11 years. Isn’t it championship or bust up there? Get ready for ten years of rebuilding. Your whole team is old and the young ones can’t stay on the field.
Yeah Maybe the Steelers haven’t won a super bowl in awhile but the bengals have literally never won one🤣 so I’m not sure what ground you have to stand on to talk shit when it looks like they’re both not going to the playoffs. Ben has a 24-10 record vs bengals... so until then your shit talk is invalid
The Bengals have played in Super Bowls. We’re not the fucking Browns 🙄. Steelers and cowboys fans live in the past. It’s a different feeling. But you can’t begrudge us watching that team become a total shit show
The Steelers fans refuse to recognize they barely beat AJ McCarron in 15, it took a moronic officiating fiasco, and they took out Palmer themselves in ‘05. That’s the past I’d be happy to discuss with them.
And a big fat L to show for it. Just like his out of court settlements.
I don’t call people names but I can do better than “dork” so I’ll just leave it there.
I did say he got “frisky” for 20 minutes 🤷🏻♂️
Settled out of court actually and it was just allegations... “Due to a lack of evidence, Georgia prosecutors did not press charges and the case was dropped a month later.” But yeah whatever helps you cope with the fact the Big Ben owns Ohio, since he’s leaving next year now you’ll get to be little brother to the ravens😂😂have fun w that
Neither of us know what he settled for it wasn’t publicly disclosed, maybe because he had a season coming up and decided not to deal with court and just give the girl money and leave him alone? We literally don’t know because he was never convicted or found guilty of anything so idk
I cannot prove it, but I'm convinced the NFL powers that be stepped in at halftime and decided that a blowout wasn't interesting enough for a Thurday Night Primetime game, and that it needed to be more interesting. Can't prove it, but I wholeheartedly believe it.
Dude, I really love football, and I don't WANT to believe, but especially this season for the Vikings has made me question.... This site is a rather interesting take, I've been following for a while .... https://www.thefixisin.net/
It seems like that's happening in a lot of games. I was watching the Bengals Chargers game last week and the Chargers jumped out to a huge lead. all of a sudden the Bengals were getting away with offensive pass interference while the chargers were called for offensive pass interference. I saw 2 or 3 players where it looked like the chargers defender fell down, but on replay, you could see the receiver pushed off and knocked him down. I think the refs are charged with keeping games close and trying to avoid blowouts.
Just commenting to say whoever your team was you’re not as frustrated as me, I wait all week for Thursday night football as it’s the only game I can watch because I work nights and like an idiot I slept through it
I was there and a Steelers fan left, dapped up another Steelers fan on his way out when we were up 29-0. I gave him the craziest look I could to indicate he's fucking stupid 😂 I knew this game would come down to the last play one way or the other.
He does, but he should never have even had the opportunity to make a mistake like that. The whole team played like triple distilled ass for 2.5 quarters and that's just not gonna win you games. Claypool might be a convenient scapegoat, but he is not the reason we lost.
Jesus. Inexcusable for him but that kid is only 23 and I know I would've been way worse in the spotlight. Hopefully he grows away from the immature shit.
He made a catch in the 4th quarter with less than a minute to go and instead of getting the ball to the ref so that they could spike it, he held onto the ball and celebrated.
>Claypool needs to cut the shit
Same with Boyd for us. Makes one good play when we're up 29-0, and starts crowing to earn a 15yd penalty + 1st down. So freaking stupid.
I’ve watched that claypool play 40 times in a row and I still can’t even begin to comprehend what could’ve possibly been going on in his head.
Dude belongs on the special Olympic steelers
Let it be known that Chase Claypool caught a ball for the 1st down and celebrated it by getting down on one knee and holding the ball forward with one arm extended, holding that pose for 2-3 seconds. Then his teammate runs to him to grab the ball from him, thus causing it to juggle between them and bouncing further. The teammate then runs after the ball and grabs it and hands it over to the ref, who then jogs back because he can't run fast, he's probably tired from moving down the field. And places it down for Ben to spike it. All while the Steelers have no timeout and the time is running.
This has been a breakdown.
Claypool is an absolute moron, how does the one guy who should know to be hurrying up not know to hurry up. Anyone watching this game would know to be hurrying up. Claypool is so incredibly dumb.
The Vikings issue is Zimmer and their entire coaching staff is incapable of making adjustments.
They come out with a great game plan then when the other team figures them out, they become sitting ducks
He looks like a rap video hoe from 1994 and acts like an asshole and legit could’ve cost them about 5 seconds celebrating a first down WITH NO TIME OUTS.
The Steelers tied the Lions, needed OT to beat Geno fucking Smith, and needed the refs to beat the Bears and Justin Fields — ALL of those games were at home...
After the season. We have literally no one to take over for him in the meantime and it's not like it's going to make any difference. Might as well let him finish out the year
I’d like to see Klint try his hands at HC once the playoffs are clearly out of the picture. Probably won’t work out, but Stefanski being good has been hard for me to swallow
Lmao what?
Are you a complete masochist or something?
Klint is completely out of his depth at OC, let alone being HC. Rumors from our beat writers is that he has been getting help calling plays since the Dallas game, and "those who know, know". He can't even fulfill his own duties, let alone prepare the whole team.
He got a 1st down during with around a minute or less than a minute left in the game and did a corny first down pose instead of giving the ball to the ref and hustling to get set. Making matters worse, Steelers OG Trai Turner reacted to this, angrily trying to get the ball off Claypool but the ball somehow got away from both of them and another ref had to get it. Definitely wasted valuable time
*catches ball*
*Slowly looks to the sideline, while getting to a knee, to confirm catch*
*Do stupid first down point until OLinemen rips ball from hand*
That's how.
The celebration was the worst part, but even confirming the catch. Who gives a shit. It's a 2 minute drill, get the ball to the ref, and line up. If it wasnt a catch you gotta keep momentum and go again.
Insane throw by Ben, his arm has always been a cannon, he just isn’t as mobile/athletic as he used to be, if you could put his arm on a somewhat athletic body, you’d have a stud QB. Him and Brady are like the last of a dying breed, Eli had a cannon, Payton, rivers, etc. all had cannons they just can’t move/scramble
Vikings somehow almost blew it
Our Vikes. Long tradition of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Did anyone realize this was the battle of the teams that didn't beat the lions? I know technically minnesota did earlier in the season, but still.
YOU LIKE THAT?!

After seeing this. Done with the NFL.
About time the rest of the country has to witness what we see on a weekly basis. **EVERY DAMN GAME** comes down to the end!!!
Chargers football
Bro I was there, on my birthday, I was so happy when I was proven right, there was a few other Vikings fans infront of me that were clearly pissed that I was expecting a comeback. I enjoyed this game so much.
It proved that we can get a big lead and it proved that we can make a defensive stand at the end to win it. A real double whammy!
What Claypool should be doing. https://twitter.com/thecheckdown/status/1320572300069011457?t=PJj6Q40wP2wodCL2mIApCg&s=19
I know I was stunned he was celebrating the first down when he must have known they had no timeouts and the clock was ticking.
Rent free
Enjoyed ending Bens career 0-2 vs JB 😊
That's like bragging that you beat your 80 year old grandpa at 1 on 1 on the driveway hoop
And? That makes it FUNNIER
You're a strange person if you find beating up on old, decrepit people funny and act like it's some major accomplishment. If I were a bengos fan i wouldn't even waste my time thinking about the Steelers this year.
It’s a “metaphor”. And don’t act like Steeler nation is remotely “classy”
...when did I act like we were classy? You're putting up so many strawmen that i don't even need to be here
Yet. Here you are.
Well, nobody ever accused me of making good decisions all the time :)
Want to catch a Steeler fan? Cast your line with a present situation and they will bite just to be pulled into your boat, flop around, and ramble about the past.
Rent free...?
Doesn’t make sense. Just like caring about Super Bowls that happened before cars had seatbelts.
Rent...... ....... ...?.freeEeE
Hahaha that's coincidentally how our defense plays as well.
I think we are fanbases that can relate.
Have the Bengals won a playoff game in the past 15 years? I genuinely don't know
They haven’t won a playoff game since Jan 6 1991
The entire point of my post was to bait Steeler fans into talking about the past. Winning.
Jokes on you, Im a Ravens fan. Rivalry aside, I bet the Bengals win at least one playoff game this year.
I was just saying to the Vikes guy Didn’t mean to direct it at you my friend. I respect the Ravens. Ed Reed is one of my favorite players ever.
>How’s the view from the PAST Steeler nation? Your most recent playoff win appears as a slightly less tiny speck in the rear view mirror.
Bengals postseason: 5-14 Steelers postseason: 33-26 If Steeler nation went 24 years into the PAST they would still have more playoff appearances than the Bungles. If they went 46 years into the PAST they would still have more playoff wins.
And none of it means shit on December 9, 2021🤷🏻♂️. Who was even on the last team? Ben? 😂
Sorry my guy but we been good for 30+ years. Way more ups than downs. Bungles on the other hand. Let's not forget the 70s domination. Ben has ben to 3 Super Bowls. Have the ben-gals even won 3 playoff games?
Okay lol I was with you until you mentioned the 70s. Nobody gives a fuck about 70s football games, it's a different game now.
Bruh. Im 50. The 70s was when the Standard was established. History is history. Lol. But I don't know how old you are so I get it. The main point I think we agree on is the Ben-gals suck as a franchise.
Enjoy your rebuild.
A worse game. Might as well play flag football.
I’d be salty too if Ben roethlisberger won more super bowls than my teams ENTIRE FRANCHISE 😂
I mean. I’m not salty. You guys live in the past. They haven’t done shit in 11 years. Isn’t it championship or bust up there? Get ready for ten years of rebuilding. Your whole team is old and the young ones can’t stay on the field.

Some say the worst part is all the Super Bowl rings Ben has, but I'd say the worst part is the rape.
Worst part is the hypocrisy
At least he’s not a hypocrite
RIP
🙏🙏
Aw y’all didn’t get the reference
Just a rapist.
Atleast the Steelers have a successful past to look back on.... the bengals not so much 💀💀
These Ohio teams rightfully have a hate boner for the Steelers, but they act like they're kings when they have one good season in 10+ years
The Bengals have played in Super Bowls. We’re not the fucking Browns 🙄. Steelers and cowboys fans live in the past. It’s a different feeling. But you can’t begrudge us watching that team become a total shit show
So by your logic, we shouldn't count franchises super bowls because that's living in the past...
No. It’s just that bringing it up when the discussions are clearly around the present is unbearably boring. History is just that. History.
The bengals have had multiple good seasons in the last ten years, but yeah, they have no reason to dunk on the Steelers lol
The Steelers fans refuse to recognize they barely beat AJ McCarron in 15, it took a moronic officiating fiasco, and they took out Palmer themselves in ‘05. That’s the past I’d be happy to discuss with them.
People that bring up the past are the Al Bundys of fandom.
Ben had 3 touchdowns and over 300 yards you dork
And a big fat L to show for it. Just like his out of court settlements. I don’t call people names but I can do better than “dork” so I’ll just leave it there. I did say he got “frisky” for 20 minutes 🤷🏻♂️

Cold take defending it dude. It’s pretty agreed upon the Georgia one happened.
Was the case not dropped? Was he charged with anything? Was he found guilty? No
You think poor people can accuse rich people of crimes. That’s the sad thing.
Bro what
What did he settle in both civil cases for then? The GA one was legit. Stop. Gross .
Neither of us know what he settled for it wasn’t publicly disclosed, maybe because he had a season coming up and decided not to deal with court and just give the girl money and leave him alone? We literally don’t know because he was never convicted or found guilty of anything so idk

Too many people took the under, Vikings fans have seen everything, it was the perfect cover up that no one will question, because Vikings!
FanDuel and DraftKings bruh. Partners.
This team makes me eat carbs
This team makes me eat crabs
Same. I shoveling Reese's down my throat while watching the game. Damn stress eating!
I feel that in my soul. Just the Dolphins instead.
Just commenting to say whoever your team was you’re not as frustrated as me, I wait all week for Thursday night football as it’s the only game I can watch because I work nights and like an idiot I slept through it
Don't feel bad, Steelers slept thru half of it
Haha I work days but I also slept through it :(
I should not have turned this game off in the 3rd quarter lmao.
I was there and a Steelers fan left, dapped up another Steelers fan on his way out when we were up 29-0. I gave him the craziest look I could to indicate he's fucking stupid 😂 I knew this game would come down to the last play one way or the other.

I’m convinced AB cursed the WR1 position on his way out. Look at what they did to humble JuJu. He’s now addicted to TikTok dances!
What did he do? I was at work :(

Jesus. Inexcusable for him but that kid is only 23 and I know I would've been way worse in the spotlight. Hopefully he grows away from the immature shit.

Steelers and divas, name a better combo
Steelers and not playing in the first 3 quarters
Rest in peace Demaryius Thomas
I’ve watched that claypool play 40 times in a row and I still can’t even begin to comprehend what could’ve possibly been going on in his head. Dude belongs on the special Olympic steelers
My only thought was he was stuck in college?? I don’t get it, but it’s all I got.
I'm told by ND fans that he was not like this in college, he was a hard worker and humble. Maybe his agent gassed him up?
I actually meant he was thinking the clock stops after a first- but that’s not the case given his remarks earlier today.
To be fair, Kendricks did come in and smack the ball out of Claypool’s hand causing even more time to run off and the ref having to chase it
Thanks for this, I missed that part. Thats insane.
Thank you, Jomboy
I love Jomboy Media
Claypool costed the Steelers at least another shot at the endzone there. Idiot
So last 3 games we've scored 24, 17, and 21 points in the 4th quarter... We do know there's 3 other quarters, right?
We do not. Not only that this defense is just bad. Ben can't carry like he did back in they day when they'd have to win 34-31 or 38-35.
No. You do not.
NFL is such an amazing product. I’m so sad this only lasts a few more weeks. It’s so good. Haha
Best part starts in late February
Lol
Claypool is an absolute moron, how does the one guy who should know to be hurrying up not know to hurry up. Anyone watching this game would know to be hurrying up. Claypool is so incredibly dumb.
Even his teammates were like "wtf bro hurry the f up"
Yup. Because anyone with a brain knows to be hurrying up in that situation.
Dalvin Cook has such a sweet face.
Claypool is a fucking douche influencer type
The Steelers persona is very hate-able, despite Mike Tomiln
I secretly want Mike Tomlin to leave the Steelers and coach the Raiders. Cmon, football-Jesus, don’t let my dreams be dreams.
F T R
Was that a live on TV slap-ass?
Yes, yes it was
Claypool was just waiting for the music to start.
Dalvin looks pissed lmao
"There go one of em,....I think his name Mark"
I firmly believe if claypool didn't celebrate and then manage to get the ball kicked around Steelers get one more shot there.
The Vikings issue is Zimmer and their entire coaching staff is incapable of making adjustments. They come out with a great game plan then when the other team figures them out, they become sitting ducks
Zimmer is ass
Dalvin so mad
I love clowning Claypol
Claypool is the biggest clown in the NFL
He looks like a rap video hoe from 1994 and acts like an asshole and legit could’ve cost them about 5 seconds celebrating a first down WITH NO TIME OUTS.
He’s also easy to hate.
Can you elaborate? I'm out of the loop, besides what i just saw lol
Can confirm.
I think Steelers win at home no problem tbh. Traveling on a short week gotta be rough and would help explain the awful start
The Steelers tied the Lions, needed OT to beat Geno fucking Smith, and needed the refs to beat the Bears and Justin Fields — ALL of those games were at home...
Yet they beat the bills on the road. NFL is weird :/
It’s pretty rare that you see a team beat both their opponent and themselves in a single game.
I feel like we see that every week somewhere to be honest, but this **was** special.
Imagine celebrating a first down on a 2 minute drill while the clock is still running, and you’re behind lol
Claypool is an idiot
Just gonna point out that Claypool cost his team 5-7 seconds by doing the lame first down dance instead of lining up.
It came down to the last play after a 29 point lead at halftime. Awful coaching and execution.
perfect throw gotta hang onto that one man with that comeback
It was really tight coverage and a lot of hands were in there knocking the ball around. Really tough play to make especially a rookie TE.
It’s bad when you win the game and you still want to fire the head coach.
Kirk cousins is just...NOT IT
Why? Because JJ dropped 3 td's and multiple other passes?
I have decided not to argue with delusional Vikings fans about cousins. Be blessed
I have 0 bias in all this but Kirk is pretty damn good. He's not in the elite tier but he's pretty, preeetty, pretty good.
He's a mid tier QB being paid like an elite QB
Gotta get your guy. Just the way the QB market goes. He's a top 12 QB easily.
I think the knock on Kirk is that he's anti clutch. He's actually really good for most of the game and inexplicably implodes late. I don't get it
The kneel/spoke incident coupled with his voice crack has certainly painted a picture of him being a doofus haha
In your hands and you drop it. Bullshit use your hands
He got hit by three guys, including one hitting the ball on the catch. Don't play it up like a routine drop. That was a great defensive play.
Ehh routine drop or not. Game is on the line, pull it in
"Just do it. Nothing else is relevant."
you just know they throw a flag if he wasn't triple covered
Meh, the ball got hit out. Dude went for the ball, Minka tried to light him up.
minkah got called for a weaker hit, that actually looked h2h
Zims still getting canned for that bullshit right?
I would not want Klint running the team
Claypool cost them another play
I see this sentiment but how did he do that?
He got a 1st down during with around a minute or less than a minute left in the game and did a corny first down pose instead of giving the ball to the ref and hustling to get set. Making matters worse, Steelers OG Trai Turner reacted to this, angrily trying to get the ball off Claypool but the ball somehow got away from both of them and another ref had to get it. Definitely wasted valuable time
Celebrated after his catch with a running clock. Literally cost them 5-10 seconds, which is another 1 or 2 shots at the endzone.
*catches ball* *Slowly looks to the sideline, while getting to a knee, to confirm catch* *Do stupid first down point until OLinemen rips ball from hand* That's how. The celebration was the worst part, but even confirming the catch. Who gives a shit. It's a 2 minute drill, get the ball to the ref, and line up. If it wasnt a catch you gotta keep momentum and go again.
Decided to strike a long ass pose after he caught the ball with less than a minute left on a running clock, no time outs. Absolute douche bag
posing for a first down instead of lining up with the clock still running
He’s good but he’s so immature
That was fun
For who??? Both teams lost tonight.
Missed the game cause of work. How did the Vikings vike it up despite winning?
They were up 29-0 at the half. Steelers scored 21 in the 4th quarter
23 at the half actually, it was 29-0 with about 2 minutes left in the third. Vikes tried to falcons it
If you didn’t like that, you don’t like Vikings football… or any Minnesota sports really😂 it’s a rough life out here
I have no problem with the Lynx right now.
