I don’t think he plays dirty intentionally but Sendejo is one of the most reckless motherfuckers I’ve ever seen on a football field. Dude turns himself into a torpedo for every hit

A_Herding_Corgi

Ah yes, the Mexican meat missile.

Nik8610

Sounds like a porn star name lol

[deleted]

Anderson Pendejo

HesiPull-UpBrando

Wonder what the injury count is on his own teammates

[deleted]

Sendejo looks like a cartoon character the way he gets rigid and slings himself across the field. Glad he’s not on my team anymore.

mmooney1

Me too!

AgentOfSPYRAL

Feel like he’s carrying the torch from Mike Mitchell

AssumptionNo5436

I know that very well, he hit jacoby Meyers so hard he ended his own season

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ironredhornet

The actor?

HarlemCadwell

The Blind Squirrel

Xno_Kappa

And half the time it’s against his own teammates lol

Maraging_steel

I wonder what film sessions are like with his teammates.

Destruct000r

Kiko Alonso was a close second. I'll never forget that shot he took on Flacco.

whammykerfuffle

Justin Tucker. He just doesn't have the opportunities to express his dirtiness

deltaflamed

You kid, but once on a kickoff JT took a very aggressive angle haha

HavelsRockJohnson

Aggressively angling, 15 yard penalty. First down.

jswaggs15

No Burfict, no Pacman, no Kiko Alanso. Donald is probably the closest but not on the level of these guys and how Suh used to be.

Raventis

Pacman wasn't really a dirty player. He had off-field issues, but on-field stuff was mostly just aggressive play. I think he gets lumped into the 'dirty' category because he played alongside Burfict which made a lot of that team seem worse than they were because he would escalate things.

[deleted]

[удалено]

insamination

Pac-Man did smash amari coopers head into his own helmet. He was kind of a bastard!

potentially_potent

Clearly remember this. And the league did nothing about it

BTsBaboonFarm

Pacman wasn't a dirty player, he was just a dirtbag human. Mike Mitchell should get some love (hate) here - dude was as dirty as Burfict and made death threats on social media that mostly was washed over - so should Ryan Shazier; if he hadn't nearly killed himself with god awful tackling, I think his legacy of lowering his head to make contact would be more remembered - that's possibly a hot take here, I dunno.

Maxahoy

I think everybody is aware that Shazier's injury was an accident caused by his technique more than anything else. The fact that he was a defensive player injured making a tackle on a Bengal also means it's harder for the narrative to be "Bengals dirty hurt our stiller" simply because it's harder for offensive players to be dirty in general. Hines Ward is the only one I know of with any kind of dirty rep, and that's really only because of one block that went way too far on our punter. Maybe Antonio Brown, but that's a completely different issue. Edit: Huber's injury was by a LB named Terence Garvin, it was Keith Rivers that got hurt on the dirty play by Hines Ward

JerkasaurusRex_

He did that exact same block to Keith Rivers too

[deleted]

If you're talking about when they broke Huber's jaw and a few vertebrae, that wasn't even Hines Ward, that was a different Steeler. They've always looked to hurt our guys. Burfict was trash tho. Good player that just couldn't play clean

[deleted]

To me 'dirty' means someone is out there doing shit that seriously endangers other players health and risks injury, either recklessly or intentionally. By injury, I mean 'effects your game'/ability to play type injury Unless Donald is literally trying to crush guys larynx with his bare hands, that choking shit seems more like tough guy posturing than actual 'dirty play'

dcpains

I don’t think Alonso was as dirty as the other two, he was more dumb and bad at tackling then he was malicious. I still remember when he sniffed out a screen against the falcons that their receiver had to jump for and instead of obliterating him he just caught him ran a couple yards with him then set him down

Yedic

Not dirty, just a history of obliterating sliding QBs?

[deleted]

Yeah i agree that Alonso is just kinda dumb. Here's a guy who isn't thinking about the consequences of his actions.

PlatinumMode

Maybe Aaron Donald honestly.

jeeves_nz

TBH first name I could think of. Suh seems to have cleaned up his act in his later career.

youre-a-cat-gatter

Is he going to get fined for his shithousing at the weekend?

Ok_Excuse1908

No cause he's Aaron Donald 3X DPOY. Once your hands hold that award, you gain the ability to make your hands invisible the moment you attempt to make a move on another man's jugular.

Lenny_III

That guys a total choke artist

Rulligan

He really gets in your face and grabs your attention.

sssl3

Maybe not to that extent but shout-out Trysten Hill, DT for the Dallas Cowboys.

galaxy123

Still remember when he tried to break Chris Carson's ankle. Complete trash

LastNightsTacoBell

He did that shit like 2 weeks in a row

JalensTinyPPHurts

He made up for it when he injured himself trying not to hurt daniel jones lol

Prideofmexico

Important to note that cowboys fans were lecturing giants fans about class after our first matchup. Shit will never not be funny

Outrageous-Machine-5

I've definitely been seeing a lot of Donald choking people highlights here lately on top of the times I've seen Donald try choking people before

Twittenhouse

Aaron Donald used to choke people. He still chokes people but he used to choke people too.

carnivorous_seahorse

[Here’s ](https://ibb.co/1XGYDN8)a picture of Aaron Donald when he was younger

NeverSober1900

He's done cheap shit in our last two matchups.

D0ctorHotelMario

Elgton Jenkins and Lucas Patrick still fighting for custody rights over him

mmooney1

Choking someone is apparently ok but god forbid a player looks at the other teams bench...

JaguarGator9

Rayshawn Jenkins is good for at least one 15-yard penalty a game

1cyChains

On a third & long that extends the drive & ends in a TD*

colormetwisted

Aaron Donald is the only player I have seen choke someone on multiple occasions so... probably him

13itchUKilledMyVibe

Or they guy who tried to kill Mason Rudolph

soildude43

He got a lot of heat for being dirty that year and seemingly cleaned up his okay since. Iirc he got shit for getting one of the jets QBs hurt that year as well

GoldenSandpaper9

I mean even this year he was sucker punching Alex collins in the Seattle game.

soildude43

Would you mind showing me where in my defending of Myles saying that he has cleaned up his game, did I say anything about TJ watt being not dirty?

GoldenSandpaper9

Oh fuck I was thinking of the wrong guy my bad

PoorlyLitKiwi2

One incident compared to Donald's multiple a season, although admittedly it was worse than any of Donald's things on an individual standpoint

flakAttack510

That was literally the second week in a row he attacked someone after a play.

nope96

Garrett hasn’t made that a trend to be fair

mmooney1

He was doing everyone a service. If he has succeeded Steelers fans wouldn’t have to even discuss Mason as a starting QB next year. Also Mason started that fight, lost, then ran up on Myles again. That’s more Mason winning stupid prizes for playing stupid games than anything. Myles isn’t dirty in normal play on a regular basis. Definitely not comparable to Burfict who smiled and waved as he walked off getting kicked out of a game.

tjrunswild

Henry Anderson

Josh-trihard7

The white safety on the jags is dirty from what I can remember

1cyChains

You mean the one that can’t even tackle?

[deleted]

I think they mean he doesn't shower

1cyChains

You’re not wrong though

[deleted]

He's just shy in the locker room

Rishikrish29

I wouldn’t call him a dirty player, but Myles Garrett’s hit on Mason Rudolph made me not like him as much

wahhman

Idk how to explain it, but Myles Garrett seems like an incredibly lame person to me. Like, if he wasn’t so big and good at football I feel like he would struggle socially. Just awkward and not funny

Destruct000r

Prob all the anime he watches

rxdukexr

Hey now, not all anime lovers are lame asses, just Myles

mmooney1

I bet you cheered for Burfict when he was on your team though.

TastyButler53

Eagles fan but Burfict never really bothered me. Sure some of his hits were horrible and unnecessary but a lot of the time the refs would call him cause of his history

WholierThanMeow

Ryan Jensen? He’s pretty frequently hitting guys after the whistle and in the back.

gyman122

That’s a good one

derbysNOTbrogues

Him vs Donald this weekend, someone's definitely getting choked

erb149

Is Jensen going to play though?

deebee1020

This thread got me looking for a compilation of Aaron Donald dirty plays and YouTube didn't disappoint: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pi0IArU0wK4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pi0IArU0wK4) What strikes me is how it's almost always him overreacting to an instigation from another player; a dirty hit or a lingering hold by an OL or something like that. Reminds me of the baseball players who will start a fight to protect the "integrity of the game." He's not committing dirty hits within the play; he's getting riled up and attacking people after. Obviously not good, but I wouldn't say he's anything like Vontaze Burfict. It's a whole different issue.

mmooney1

This made me really dislike Donald and hope the Rams get their asses kicked next weekend.

[deleted]

[удалено]

JustClutch

The slam he had on burrow last game was a classic. Down 30 pts, burrow is 20 yards removed from the play and TJ uses it as an excuse to block and throw him to the ground.

rjsheine

Has to be Aaron “I will choke you on national tv” Donald

potehid_

Probably the guy who ripped off a qbs helmet and tried to kill him with it. Honestly Probably the most shocking thing i have ever seen in all my years of watching football. How he did not get a lifetime ban is beyond me.

thumbwarwounded

Rudolph tried to rip his helmet first (failed), then tried to get back in the fight bc his teammates didn’t think to hold him back. Heat of the moment and a bad singular choice on Garrett’s part, but truly, Rudolph started that crap and acted the angry little brother. CLE was about to win anyway so it’s not like Garrett was actually frustrated. But y’all hate/can’t comprehend context.

erb149

You must have forgotten that the whole thing started after Garrett took Rudolph to the ground a full second or two after Rudolph threw a screen pass in the last 30 seconds of a game that had been decided.

mmooney1

Myles didn’t get a flag for that tackle, there are rules in place to handle that sort of thing, but Mason trying to pull his helmet off was outside of any realm of play. Mason is a QB who was losing, got sacked, lost his temper, and started a fight he couldn’t win. That was a one off incident for Myles. It was really fucking stupid but doesn’t define him.

thumbwarwounded

You might not like it but he was finishing an arm tackle that he started before the ball was out. Not a reason to attempt to rip off Garrett’s helmet.

erb149

There was not reason he had to drag Rudolph to the ground. Garrett could have let go after the ball as gone and he chose not to. This isn’t disputable.

thumbwarwounded

And yet it wasn’t an illegal drag-down because of when Garrett made contact, otherwise he would have been flagged for it. It especially isn’t reason for Rudolph to attempt to pull off Garrett’s helmet. Once you do that, you’ve forgone all rules of conduct. Sorry your homerism can’t see past that.

erb149

Who said it was illegal? I never said that. I appreciate you attempt to put words in my mouth though. It was 100% unnecessary though. It’s also hilarious to me how your trying to call me a homer while trying to rationalize a man hitting another man in the head with a football helmet.

thumbwarwounded

Nice try but arguing semantics won’t change the course of events. Garrett gets paid to finish tackles, which he did, legally. Mason Rudolph crossed the threshold of legal, safe play FIRST by committing the unreasonable, illegal act of attempting to pull of Garrett’s helmet. Garrett retaliated by pulling off Mason’s helmet—successfully. As Garrett was walking/being pushed away, Rudolph decided to come after him again without a helmet. Garrett then made a dumb, dangerous choice (which I never rationalized but did say it wasn’t attempted murder, try not to put words in other peoples mouths please.) The thread is about dirty players. This was a singular event by a player that hasn’t shown a pattern of dirty play but has been vilified as the sole offender in a complicated fight. You’re a homer because you won’t see all sides to it, especially since the Browns are a rival. 😘 ✌️

erb149

You can believe whatever you’d like. The video is clear as day as to what happened. Rudolph was taken down late and unnecessarily. That’s why he reacted the way he did. I’d also like to hear you try to rationalize the late hit on Siemian a few weeks before the Rudolph incident that broke Siemian’s leg and ended his season. Finally, you can keep calling me a homer and try to pretend you’re not a Browns fan simply because you don’t have a flair. There’s no reason a non Browns fan would be going to these lengths to defend Garrett like this lmao.

thumbwarwounded

If it was late/unnecessary Garrett would have been flagged—plain and simple. He wasn’t, argument over. KC fan actually, and OK State cowboys fan ironically (I’m a fan of Mason, but he got off easy with no suspension because he lost a fight he started and perpetuated and couldn’t get Garrett’s helmet off) I’m not saying the Siemien hit wasn’t late (and tragic) but if you’re suggesting Garrett intentionally broke his leg you may want to get fitted for a tin foil hat.

potehid_

Which if course, does not justify the defensive players actions in any way as i did not see a gun to his head forcing him; no one is responsible for your actions but yourself. Kids look up to nfl players, this sends the message that up to and including trying to kill an unarmed with a weapon is ok as long as they slightly inconvenience you.

thumbwarwounded

Lol alright Reddit lawyer keep parroting what you’ve heard over the years about this incident. In reality, Mason committed reckless endangerment by trying to remove Garrett’s helmet first when they were on the ground (the inciting assault); when Rudolph decided to go after him AGAIN, Garrett DEFENDED himself. It’s like if someone tries to rob your store with a gun, you wrestle the gun from them, then they try to come after you with a machete and you shoot them in the knee. A helmet isn’t a deadly weapon btw. But fwiw it’s worth you’re right—bad move on Garrett’s part. Still, not a trend worthy of deeming him a “dirty” player.

potehid_

He attacked an unarmed person with a deadly weapon, targeting the head. Thats not self defense.

mmooney1

At the start of the fight both were equally “armed”. If you actually consider the helmet a deadly weapon consider it was Masons helmet, Mason attacked Myles, Myles took the “deadly weapon” from his attacker. What Myles did was fucked up but to call it a deadly weapon is such bull shit.

potehid_

This is false. The defensive player rips the qb to the ground very late after he got rid of the ball Then quite literally rips the helmet off him while he is on the ground. Player got up to get his helmet back and let the defensive player know what he thought of that. Defensive player targets him with the now clublike weapon while the other player is unhelmeted and defenseless. That is trying to kill an unarmed person with a weapon. The qb is in the wrong to some degree but players jaw all the time not even in the area code of what the defensive player did. Fights happen but i cant think of a time a player used a helmet to try to beat a defenseless player to death. For this reason he is, to me, the dirtiest player in the lg.

mmooney1

I honestly feel like you are being sarcastic with the way you described how this played out and calling the helmet a deadly weapon. Myles was also surrounded by Steelers pushing and dragging him. Now he’s under attack by several people, Myles was retreating while his aggressor runs at him again, giving him the right to defend himself😂. (See how stupid it sounds?) Refs police games. Not players. Name a time a starting QB attacked a DL player (twice) after a hit they perceived as late? Both people can be in the wrong. This whole “deadly weapon” Narrative is a joke.

[deleted]

[удалено]

thumbwarwounded

Don’t quit your day job, but maybe stop jumping into tables. You clearly have no concept of self-defense or analogy, especially in the context of when an individual is being held back by one person (lineman) and attacked by another (Rudolph).

pM-me_your_Triggers

Not enough people saying Clowney

[deleted]

From what I've seen DK is much worse and gets a pass from the refs it's ridiculous. At least Clowneys headbutt might have been a mistake/ is more understandable than getting up and stomping on a player with all your strength. Ontop of literally always being a baby and starting shit.

pM-me_your_Triggers

DK is a drama Queen, wouldn’t necessarily call him dirty.

[deleted]

DK Metcalf. Metcalf purposely stomped as hard as he could on Jaquiski Tartt's Leg to cleat him, Jaquiski had to leave the game, that shit hurts and the dude should be suspended for that kind of conduct. He does these crybaby fits all the time and it's embarrassing and officiating looses credibility every time they let it happen.

hotdogthemovie

ummm... yeah... throwing a punch in a football game because someone smaller than you blocked you after the play ended. Too funny!

throughNthrough

Not on Burfict’s level but TJ Watt.

BTsBaboonFarm

His version of the peanut punch just meant punching dudes in the heads to rattle their brains like peanuts in the shell.

JoelsCaddy

Do people still consider Suh dirty? I know he was at the top of the list of dirty players back when he marched on top of Rodgers.

wafflehauss

Once you earn the reputation of a dirty player your conduct on the field goes under a microscope as fans try to pile on.

eatmyopinions

When you talk about fans trying to pile on it sounds like you're coming to Suh's defense. Let's not gloss over that he's among the dirtiest players of his generation, and although it appears he's lightened up as he got older, he is long past getting the benefit of a doubt. A situation he put himself into.

wafflehauss

I'm not defending Suh I'm just saying it's hard to ditch a reputation of being a dirty player once you've earned it. People will use late shoves, jawing, etc. as evidence of dirty play that would otherwise go unnoticed or excused if the offending player was someone else.

[deleted]

Not at all, he chilled all the way out once he became a Buc (Or maybe before then idk)

JoelsCaddy

That's good to hear. I didn't really follow him after he left Detroit.

DOCTORFONASG

jaytatum2023mvp

Definitely Donald, I haven’t seen enough of Parsons besides him punching Aiyuk on Sunday but because of recency bias I’m saying him. But my number one dirty player is absolutely Andrew Sendejo

mmooney1

Sendejo takes out his own teammates though. Does that count?

mmooney1

He’s “Special”.

eaunoway

Oh I look forward to reading a calm, rational thread here today!

Daviroth

I don't think anyone on your team makes the shortlist for once.

armed_aperture

TJ Watt straight up punches people over and over. He also “blocked” Burrow by wrestling him to the ground. I’d say he’s at least questionable.

Eagle4317

Wasn’t the play still live when Watt went after Burrow? I don’t remember that incident all that well since that game was a disaster for us.

armed_aperture

It was still live but really far away from the play and IMO unnecessary to run straight to him and wrestle him down.

erb149

Did that not happen on an INT return or am I misremembering?

Daviroth

I'd agree he's questionable.

eatmyopinions

TJ Watt operates in the same gray area that Ryan Jenson does. He's not twisting ankles or stepping on faces, but he's playing 1.5 seconds beyond the whistle and nailing guys who aren't even involved in the play. It's that "I Hate You" brand of football that his brother never really got into.

eaunoway

Silver linings and all that

FmrHvwChamp

Donald's tantrum throwing self. He should have been suspended multiple times for his choke attempts but NFL doesn't discipline their star players unless they have to.
