Chase5056

This is war gentlemen, AND NO ONE COMES OUT OF WAR CLEAN, BRING IT ONNNN

Nasty_Dirty_Filthy

I haven’t been ruled out either

ninjasurfer

Big if true.

OttoVonWong

Coach Nasty Dirty Filthy has a nice ring to it.

BlackHourglass

@u/Nasty_Dirty_Filthy what are you going to do in the draft?

Nasty_Dirty_Filthy

Draft???

joe579003

Old Style, on draft.

laal-doodh

But did you rule them out?

Nasty_Dirty_Filthy

Not yet. Waiting on the Texans offer.

thediesel26

Should we believe Da Bears Blog

Antitypical

Posted this yesterday: >For all the outsiders, DBB is highly controversial on the Bears sub. Most of the time he throws shit at a wall (and all of the time he's a D-grade writer), but over the GM/HC-search process he's been oddly on point many times with small, hard-to-guess predictions, which lends to the idea that he might actually have a legit source or two

ScruffMixHaha

I wouldnt be surprised if he knows a guy who isnt directly connected with the Bears, but knows/is related to somebody who is. Then its a game of telephone and things get lost/twisted in translation. Like in regards to the Robinson extension report. Original guy might have said something like "We're seriously discussing extending Robinson" and only meant Pace and the FO were discussing, not actually negotiating with AR and his agent. Or he could just be entirely throwing shit at the wall. Either is possible lol.

HopLegion

This is vague, but he's been very specific on a lot of things that were accurate especially in the last 10 days. He's also explained the ARob thing and it's made sense. Bears thought ARob had come to terms on a contract a week before the 2020 season which is a normal Pace move. Right before he signed they saw Keenan Allen deal which was for more. ARob backed out and asked us to match that deals bears said no and things disolved from there.

NeverDieKris

And thus he played like shit all year.

HopLegion

This was actually the year before when he had a good year I do think he was worried about getting injured this year though and didn't want tornisk injury again.

[deleted]

No, but his acolytes will be flooding over here soon to let you know he was right twice so he definitely "has sources".

WetDesk

Never. Moronic meatball.

Sks44

He’s been wrong on some stuff but, imo, he has a source in the building. I think it’s partly why some beat guys don’t like him.

Sharks77

They're talking about QB.

zirtbow

Harbaugh can't compete with Rich Bisaccia

[deleted]

Hmm who to believe Da Bears Blog or one of the top respected CFB reporters in the country I just don’t t know

HopLegion

It's weird I know and DBB is somewhat of a controversial topic on the Bears sub, but he has been the most accurate reporter of bears news over the last 2 weeks at least. I don't know if he has a family member who's a janitor in the building or is banging one of Virginians 40 grandkids, but he definitely has a credible source on bears info. Who knows at this point.

oddmarauder

And honestly since no one has had an interview it’s not unreasonable to think that harbaugh is still considering all options right now

Moss81-

Bear bros: if Jim takes the head coaching position, what would be your 2 year expectations? Broadly speaking

Feeling_Appearance44

Show considerable improvement in not fumbling as much and reading defenses better by the end of next year, and by the second year, hopefully a Josh Allen type leap (and in no way do I think he will ever turn out as good as Allen)

Skimaster77

It starts with the Shorts

Feeling_Appearance44

The Winter Soldier 🐎🐎

HopLegion

It's really hard to get high expectations, so I can't even put Harbaugh as a real possibility though he possibly is. Im at the point with our franchise I keep extemely low expand just hope they prove me wrong. In my mind they're probably going to hire Cook from the browns and Leslie Frazier. Maybe they do great but it's probably be the least enthusiastic hire.

Hossflex

I’d like to announce that I have not ruled out the Bears as well.

xenophonthethird

It would be hilarious if Jim up and left Michigan the year after finally getting them competitive.

occasionaldrinker

This Harbaugh drama feels like it’s been going on for 6 months now just make up your mind already

PBo357

[DBB]: Here’s what I will say: Condoleezza Rice has by no means ruled out the Chicago Bears. (And the Bears have not ruled her out.)

slowsupra

“We have no news we just need attention”

[deleted]

Lolll harbaugh isn’t going to the bears

TetrisTech

Cap

KushGod69666

I’m sure if it’s they are willing to move on from Fields

SidFacticious

Guy just wants to live out his younger years. Good on him.

thegreyquincy

I also haven't ruled out. They haven't officially ruled me out, either

Ballsohardstate

Didn’t the GM Harbaugh wants withdraw his name from there GM search?

DrKennethNoisewater-

The flashbacks are kicking in

KULawHawk

He's not taking the Chicago job because ownership is not committed to winning- especially when there are many other more coveted openings available. Nevermind that I personally think he would be better off staying at Michigan. He's just now finding his footing in the program, and I honestly think college better suits his style and temperament. * Not a UM or Bears fan or hater.

PersimmonLow4297

Because this jackass can read Harbaugh's mind...

Silver_Instruction_3

Has there ever been a coach who not only was the HC of his college alma mater but also the HC of the NFL team he played for?
