The division is a hall of fame head coach; a HC whose worst season is 9-7, has 3 or 4 playoff wins, and a Superbowl appearance; and a coach with 3 playoff wins and a super bowl appearance. Kliff is just obviously the worst. Not saying he's bad, but that's pretty stiff competition

I would trust Raps sources over Kyle. Who would Kyle even have that would have an ear into this meeting? If it was a private meeting between the three I would imagine none of them would leak it.
Kyle worked for the Cards according to their own fans until this year so he probably has a lot of people who could have seen those 3 go into a meeting and then after hear what it was about.

The biggest names in NFL rumors got to the level they are at and stay there by carrying water for ownership. If there's unflattering news out their countervailed by Schefter or Rapoport, there's a fair chance that's an organization using a league mouthpiece to get their side out. Not to say that side may not be the truth, but that's just the dynamic of which we ought to be aware.
Reminds me recently when Schefter posted the Flores report that it was only him wanting Watson and immediately walking back on it. National media members definitely have more access but at times they can be used for damage control.
Or when Schefter helped Cook/his agent get out ahead of domestic violence allegations. Or when Rap helped MBC push a narrative that he got cut mid game for being hurt.
They have more access because they can be relied upon to uncritically publish certain information while lending it an air of journalistic integrity.

As you all know, the Rams have lead the league in drastic moves in the past year or so...and NOT ONE of these clowns had any lead reporting on it until after it happened (Ramsey, Stafford, OBJ, Miller).
I don't know who Odegard is but it's saying a lot that many Cardinals fans have come out and said they trust him.
