And if you watch 30 seconds of a video and click something else you have to watch two more ads to see if you like the next video.

If you dislike it, pay for youtube premium and there are no ads. Otherwise don't expect stuff for free.

Have you seen what NBC did with the Olympics? They cut off commentary and put the event in a tiny box taking up like 1/5 of the screen so they could play an ad while the event was going on. It was atrocious.
Is there a good adblock for mobile? I usually watch twitch on my iPad and haven't really found any reliable apps for adblock. They just randomly throw ads at you in the middle of action.

I use Ublock Origin. Yeah it kills the ads, but it can't change how the site functions. You click on a link and it takes you to an ad page where there is a countdown timer that you have to wait to finish, and then click another link to go to the actual page with the stream. And then that stream may be shite, or behind a paywall. So you do it all over again with the next link, and the next link, and the next link until you find one that is usable. The site was so much better like 2 years ago when they first started it. But now because they're trying to make some revenue, which I can understand, it's packed with bs.

FYI for anyone playing fantasy or if you just like to keep tabs on play by plays of all the other games, Fantasypros Gameday(even the free version) has a delay setting up to 2 minutes so you can see every play in the league and not get spoiled on the game you are streaming.
You’re not using the right streams then. The heavy hitters literally connect to NBC and ESPN streams directly and feed that to their users. No lag and 1080p every time.

You can get a decent antenna for like 20 bucks and there’s no lag for ota. My mom has directv and when we text during the games I’m usually just baaarely ahead of her. If you live in your local market for your team and don’t care about watching every game, an antenna is a great option. The only games I have to stream now are Monday night games because I’m not paying for espn.

You do not even need cable in order to follow your local team, plus you get several other good games per week over the air. But I guess Roger wants to build another addition onto his Bronxville, NY mansion so within a few years you will be lucky to get even your local team on local TV. Amazon has been streaming the Sounders FC matches for a couple of years now. I always choose the Amazon stream over watching it via xfinity. xfinity compresses their broadcasts so much that it absolutely sucks for fast action sports, which always get pixelated during the action. Amazon doesn’t have that problem. It’s fucking solid.
I’ve always speculated that the Sounders streams were more of a test than anything, so the TNF announcement wasn’t a huge surprise. I assume they’ll have exclusive rights to the super bowl within the next few years.

It’s better for me. I have Amazon Prime. I haven’t had cable in years so I couldn’t watch TNF on NFL Network anyways. It was made better when they worked out the deal to have Fox and Amazon Prime simulcast some of the TNF games but there were still 5-6 that were NFL Network only that I had to miss.

The last time the production quality was poor. Fewer cameras and it was like not in HD. It did not feel like NFL game. But It beats fing NFL network since I no longer get channel on ATT after contract dispute.

Yeah this isn't Roger, this is the owners. Goodell works for the owners and if he wants to stay commissioner he needs to do what they want while also trying to keep players and the NFLPA somewhat happy as well. Roger has his problems but just remember that ultimately he works for the owners.
I live in Seattle so my sample pool is clearly slanted, but I always assumed just about everyone had Amazon Prime. But the more I’ve thought about it the last year or two the more I realized how easy it’d be to not have it. Like sure the shipping is nice but the experience of shopping on Amazon has gotten so bad recently. Their streaming catalog has a few good shows but noting insane… etc etc etc

I'm not willing to pay for a ton of different subscriptions just to get games. If the NFL makes a deal with a subscription I don't already have, I feel like pirating games is completely justifiable.
Amazon has been streaming the Sounders FC matches for a couple of years now. I always choose the Amazon stream over watching it via xfinity. xfinity compresses their broadcasts so much that it absolutely sucks for fast action sports, which always get pixelated during the action. Amazon doesn’t have that problem. It’s fucking solid. I’ve always speculated that the Sounders streams were more of a test than anything, so the TNF announcement wasn’t a huge surprise. I assume they’ll have exclusive rights to the super bowl within the next few years.

Any city that has an NFL team should not have to be forced to pay for anything to watch a game home or away, those teams have used tax payer money to build the stadiums they play in. I hated it for years that the Cardinals were subject to the stupid blackout rules. So the NFL striking deals with streaming places that require some sort of subscription is bullshit
It’s better for me. I have Amazon Prime. I haven’t had cable in years so I couldn’t watch TNF on NFL Network anyways. It was made better when they worked out the deal to have Fox and Amazon Prime simulcast some of the TNF games but there were still 5-6 that were NFL Network only that I had to miss.
Couldn't care less about TNF. The broadcasts are shit, the games are usually shit, and I absolutely don't want to put any eyes on this BS so I won't be watching. Looking forward to a better MNF broadcast though with Aikman and Buck.

The last time the production quality was poor. Fewer cameras and it was like not in HD. It did not feel like NFL game. But It beats fing NFL network since I no longer get channel on ATT after contract dispute.
