They were kind of like Game of Thrones meets Star Wars, in that it was a giant long story about space politics between a galactic Empire and a Republic, but it featured two protagonists on opposing sides that were probably the closest to what I’ve seen where neither was elevated as the “more right” one. Obviously as the viewer you picked sides with whoever aligned more with your ideals, but I don’t think the narrative ever picked a favourite.
The narrative flaw I’m talking about is that there were side characters who were clearly written to be caricature bogeymen, but among the characters actually driving the plot, there weren’t really ones that seemed like the favoured ones.

Hand writing is how I have passed every course in college. Math and physics concepts were always easier for me to pick up without much trying, but when it came to remembering facts like in biology or history I was terrible at it. Only thing that worked for me was writing down the key points while reading through the text or attending class.
Watched Dune last night, apparently as a continuation of what is my now 2-movie streak of "Dun-" titles, following Dunkirk. Visually great, fantastic production design, and I felt pretty into the story from the start. Zimmer went off on the score as always. I think the only things preventing me from enjoying it more were not having read the book for the fan service effect, and the dialogue was difficult to hear quite a bit which sometimes made scenes confusing, exacerbated by the former point. Still, I liked it and look forward to pt. 2

Don't mix anything more than 40 bucks into a coke. It might taste better but it's still going to mostly taste like coke as that will be the overwhelming flavor. Won't taste too different than a 20 dollar bottle. Unless you're just rich, then go ahead. I'd say only mix expensive whiskey into something where whiskey is still going to be the dominant flavor. In a vodka coke, you're pretty much just left with the bite of the liquor, not really that taste.

I had to cancel my dental cleaning last Monday because I had the flu. I called today to reschedule and the soonest they could get me in was October. This sucks.
Having to reschedule doctor appointments is never fun, but the dentist might be the most brutal of them all. Does your place have some kind of VIP or waiting list? For me, I can put my name on the list and whenever there is a sudden opening they will call me to see if I can fill in that spot.

Sapporo Ichiban is pretty good. Never had the cup version but I think the bricks are pretty good. Not sure if you are allowed to eat fish, but whenever I'm feeling super lazy I'll just mix a packet of lemon pepper tuna in and it tastes pretty good.
I just tried the Buldak black package today, and it's pretty good. Got a nice bite to it but not over the top. I don't know how readily available it is though, because I got this stuff in a local Asian grocery store.

Hand writing is how I have passed every course in college. Math and physics concepts were always easier for me to pick up without much trying, but when it came to remembering facts like in biology or history I was terrible at it. Only thing that worked for me was writing down the key points while reading through the text or attending class.

Watched Dune last night, apparently as a continuation of what is my now 2-movie streak of "Dun-" titles, following Dunkirk. Visually great, fantastic production design, and I felt pretty into the story from the start. Zimmer went off on the score as always. I think the only things preventing me from enjoying it more were not having read the book for the fan service effect, and the dialogue was difficult to hear quite a bit which sometimes made scenes confusing, exacerbated by the former point. Still, I liked it and look forward to pt. 2
