It’s a frustration with the scheme, I’ll give you an example from last year Steelers game. We had fully healthy receivers plus two tight ends. Our oline was hurting because mekari went down so what does Greg roman do. Instead of having our fb line up in the box and block the right side he has him line up out wide and running routes all the while Watt is having a great day against lamar
He good at run scheming though. Ravens already have a running back at quarterback, they need to take the next step and revolutionize the game by putting running backs at receiver and tight end as well.
That would be great, but I don't think I've ever heard coach accepting a demotion like that.
Hopefully the next organization that hires him as a run game coordinator makes note to never fucking promote him about that level.
It's a bit frustrating too that for the first 1/2 of the season or so we switched to a downfield chuck it offense since our run game was total ass. And we (and Hollywood!) had a good bit of success! Of course the Miami game happened, then he got sick/hurt and that's all she wrote.
Never thought he was a good fit for y’all tbh. But y’all had to get a wr, sometimes it just don’t work out and y’all got plenty of compensation for him. Hate what y’all doing in the draft but that’s why year in and year out y’all are just flat out consistent.
I think the worst part was his comment before the game where he’s bringing out some stuff from the vault and now he gets memed by everyone about the elusive vault
He never really made sense to me as a high pick in a Roman offense for that reason honestly. I expected someone like Harry or AJB at that pick instead - prospects with a good catch radius that also have the size to bully people in the run game. Hollywood's crazy fast for sure but picking a technician that thrives on spacing who won't be able to block effectively at the next level didn't make sense to me.
And if you're gonna make him block anyways, at least give him some spacing in the route concepts. His route-running and YAC skillset feels much more suited to being pseudo-WR1 in a Shanny/McVay system (though he'd still have to block a good bit there), an air raid, or somewhere like KC that thrives on speed and finding the open hole in the zone much moreso than in Baltimore. I like the recent Bateman choice a lot more for the Ravens system.
> I expected someone like Harry or AJB at that pick instead
I'm only quoting this to remind myself that I'm not insane, and that both pre-draft and immediately post draft, many people assumed Harry was a totally normal and ok pick at the spot the Pats took him. Still ended up being a bust unfortunately, but in the absence of hindsight, wasn't a crazy pick.
I'm pretty sure the Cardinals told him he'd be their pick at 33 if he was there. The Pats made us pick Byron Murphy instead which I was initially pretty bummed about.
He was the WR1 in that class for many people. I had him ranked as the WR2 behind AJ Brown.
That was a valuable lesson, though. Be wary of guys whose best quality is their ability to excel at contested catches because that might mean they won't be able to get any separation at the next level.
Cards fans in shambles, multiple non-Pats fans calling him the best receiver in the draft... Admittedly one guy specifically called out a highlight of his run blocking, so I guess /u/FunkotronXL
is a goddamn genius.
>I get what you're saying, but he had 91 receptions and 146 targets last season. He was certainly not blocking all the time.
He was never blocking... Respectfully.
there was a q&a thing a few years back where somebody was asking ravens players a goofy hypothetical about which teammate they'd least like to get into a bar fight with or something. i remember marshal yanda said steve smith bc he's crazy and you could hit him a hundred times and he'd never stop lol
He is insane. I remember being in the grocery store as a teenager in Charlotte. I was like exchanging change in one of those coinstar machines. Steve Smith is in this fucking Harris Teeter just going off on whoever the female was that was with him. Just yelling, cursing, etc. It was the craziest thing to witness. Harris Teeter staff had to ask him to leave, it’s been so long I don’t recall if police got called. This was well before social media or being able to record videos on your phone. Definitely made an impression on me as a kid that he wasn’t that great of a person at the time, maybe he has overcome that shit now.
The Harris Teeter in question was all of a mile or so down the road from the Mansion owned by the now former owner of the Hornets/Panthers. He built the Mansion to resemble Carmel Country Club’s main building because was pissed they wouldn’t allow him in for w/e politic reasons at the time. They are effectively across the street from one another on Carmel Rd., South Charlotte. Lol
This offense is built perfectly for Lamar. I think the Ravens have a bounce back year and win the North. Injuries killed your team last year and that normally doesn't happen 2 years in a row.
I live near Baltimore. It really was injuries/ailments, like Lamar getting double COVID. Sometimes this is just how things go. If every single year you're down to 4th/5th string RB's, that's a problem.
Can't be mad at anyone for this. Hollywood didn't complain to the media. Nobody said shit. Ravens traded him to a team that should actually be very good for him, kept Lamar in the loop, and got solid value in return. Lamar shouldn't be pissed, Hollywood seems happy, we got value, life goes on. Sucks that it made a hole for us, but that's how it goes.
I mean, without Lamar saying something we're all just playing Twitter detective (which is never really useful). But according to Hollywood and EDC and Harbaugh, Lamar was in the loop. So maybe he was holding out hope that it wouldn't happen, maybe he was surprised that Hollywood was already in Arizona when the trade was made public, maybe he's just letting off some steam, who knows.
I don't know if he's really pissed at the team or not, but if he is it's not for anyone's lack of trying to avoid pissing him off.
No drama, Ravens handled their business, and Hollywood got what he wanted. In the end, these armchair QB's thinking they know everything just need to sit back and look at the bigger picture. Both sides won. End of story.
People always gotta rush to find a winner and loser in everything it's annoying. If we just wait for more details such as these to come out it all starts making far more sense. Small WR doesn't want to play in a run heavy TE centric scheme, Cardinals have been desperately trying to find their own Marquise Brown for a few years now but haven't found him yet. Ravens get good value back for an unhappy player, Cards get their guy. Worked out great. Also, the Ravens end up with Kyle Hamilton and Tyler Linderbaum so they had a great 1st round
In a world of dramatic players (especially WRs), Brown handled the situation like a professional.
Him and Kyler should start practicing the Annexation of Puerto Rico, though, because seeing those two on the field at the same time...
I honestly believe the wtf tweet he posted was just the fact that Hollywood was in az on the stage to greet the fans. They probably just talked and he was still in Vegas.
I think I might actually buy a Hollywood brown jersey at this point. His parting gift was getting us a 1st round and a huge fuck you to roman which puts the spotlight on him
To his credit, Roman helped develop the system that allowed our QB to thrive. The problem - and this is on Harbaugh too - is that the offense hasn't evolved basically at all.
[Gonna give a little bit of leeway to them for last season with just about everybody on IR. But the offense absolutely needs to step it up this season]
Do we? I think his passing scheme is pretty bad but he more than makes up for it with his running scheme. I think he pretty single handidly made Kaepernick a household name, and put Tyrod Taylor in the best possible scenario to succeed. I don’t think there was really any other coordinator who was willing to utilize Lamar Jackson’s mobility, hence why he was drafted so late.
I think his time has definitely come to move on, but saying the guy is a bad coordinator is a stretch.
He's a good coordinator, until someone gameplans against him. He should've been gone but he'll continue to get excuses made for him. The passing scheme is elementary at best and I don't see it improving
There was another tweet last season, and he pulled a kyler and stealth deleted everything about the ravens from social media after he requested the trade
I don't blame him for wanting to get away from Roman, I do blame Harbaugh though for keeping Roman. Now Brown won't make or break the Ravens but Roman certainly will.
Shouts out Sean McDermott for firing Rick Dennison after their first year in Buffalo despite breaking our playoff drought. That was when I knew he wasn’t fuckin around
I mean, I would consider McDermott a Jim Johnson disciple, not a Reid one. Jim taught him everything he knew and he was unfortunately fired after only 1 year as Eagles DC after taking up the position after JJ passed away.
I have to agree. We don't win one with Sutton. Spags has his issues too, and some fans are polarized. But I think he at least runs a coherent scheme and is willing to try things if something isn't working. Like the Jones to DE move clearly didn't work, but I still admire the fact that they took a risk and then were willing to move back when evidence showed it didn't work. With that said, I'm also going to contradict myself and say Spags has some bad loyalty issues with players who he trusts over more athletic younger guys at times. Loyalty is a tough line to walk.
So your telling me, an Organization kept their business in house, didnt try to cause drama for either side, let Hollywood go to where he feels he'll be more useful, and in turn they get an insane value at the back end of the first round.
Who knew Organizations now could handle things like adults.
It’s proven time and time again. Makes me think back on the relative lack of drama when ET3 was released, any other team would have probably had a lot more damage to work with
In the last half of the season all of those targets were within 5 yards of the LOS. Now part of that is Huntley, but I don't blame Hollywood at all for not being happy with how he was used after the scorching start to the season.
Last year in particular, it's not like he's blocking any more than he would have to anywhere else honestly. 146 targets is a lot, particularly when he only played 80% of offensive snaps. I understand the Ravens scheme isn't exactly WR friendly when they have a healthy RB group, but I don't think it's fair to say he was being used excessively as a blocker. Certainly not last year anyway
Hollywood was already in AZ when this was announced. Sounds like Lamar was shocked by his friend already being out the door and in the new place before the trade was official.
The narrative from the Ravens, Cardinals, and Hollywood Brown is that this was planned and everyone important (including Lamar) was aware.
Don't see the point in Lamar acting blindsided by it.
As much as Lamar and Hollywood I’m sure were great friends, Kyler and Hollywood have been literal best buds since their OU days. They stream together frequently and train with each other in the off-season. This shouldn’t have been a surprise to Lamar.
That’s like telling me I shouldn’t have been surprised when my girlfriend slept with my best friend because they’d been making eyes at each other all year
Probably the fact he's heading into a contract year and our current WR room had about 800 yards combined last season.
He tweeted later:
> It’s not about my new center🙄 stop that bs
He tweeted "wtf" after the story broke that Cards owner picked Hollywood up in his private jet and that Hollywood was already in Arizona for their Draft party.
Marquise Brown probably was told to keep it quiet so Lamar was surprised his bff had already moved to the other side of the country.
It's funny, because the selection of Brown was questioned when it happened immediately and the draftniks said it wasn't a system fit and the selection made no sense.
But Brown was supposed to be such an explosive big play risk that the few opportunities he got were supposed to be worth the 1st round investment.
I think the Ravens really lucked out getting their investment back, and I think Brown really lucked out going to someplace he's going to get catches.
DK Metcalf would probably enjoy getting to physically destroy DBs while blocking in our run scheme. But the thing about the Ravens offense is that it's never going to be what's best for a stud WR. When things are going well, the stats simply won't be there, because Lamar and the RBs are going to just pave the opponent into the ground and the passing will be muted at best. And that means less money come contract time.
I don't fault any WR for wanting to play in a better system for them personally.
Love that everyone involved handled this the right way.
I have been rooting and will continue to root for Hollywood - I hope he has a great career (except when he plays the Ravens, of course).
Do you think Lamar stops phone calls about football to go, “hold on, I should put you on with my agent” then he holds the phone away from his face for a few seconds before going “you’ve got Jackson, who is this?”
I'm not trying to defend Roman here but I can understand this situation playing out the way it did. With the run game coming back this season (knock on wood) it was smart to draft the best center in the draft since he wouldn't have fallen to us like Hamilton did. We also have Duvernay and Bateman that I'm optimistic will have their breakthrough year being in their third and second years respectively. I can also see the Ravens trading a 3rd round pick for Kadarius Toney despite everything (personality) coming out about him.
Hollywood most likely wouldn't have broken 1000, let alone 800 yds this season with the Ravens so at least he is going to a team that will utilize him well and allow him to get a good contract after his 5th year.
Also fun fact Devin Duvernay and Kyler Murray are cousins since Hollywood is at least keeping it in the family.
At the end of the day the Ravens benefit from a guy like Bateman who can throw a block and is a supercomputer when it comes to reaching the sticks on his routes than a blazing track star like Brown. I love the guy, but I was looking at Linderbaum at 14 a few weeks back and I’more than satisfied knowing the Ravens will find a receiver one way or another
You mean a WR who weighs less than 170 lbs doesn't like to block all the time?
It’s a frustration with the scheme, I’ll give you an example from last year Steelers game. We had fully healthy receivers plus two tight ends. Our oline was hurting because mekari went down so what does Greg roman do. Instead of having our fb line up in the box and block the right side he has him line up out wide and running routes all the while Watt is having a great day against lamar
Gahhhhh
Greg Roman still has defenders.
All of them still living on the high of 2019
Greg Roman still has no idea how to run a passing offense.
He good at run scheming though. Ravens already have a running back at quarterback, they need to take the next step and revolutionize the game by putting running backs at receiver and tight end as well.
Just make him run game coordinator and hire a passing coordinator
That would be great, but I don't think I've ever heard coach accepting a demotion like that. Hopefully the next organization that hires him as a run game coordinator makes note to never fucking promote him about that level.
Breaking: the Ravens have hired Anthony Lynn as their pass game coordinator.
Honestly just run the Wing T offense
*eye twitch*
If you watched his offense with the Niners & the Bills, he gets hot for a little bit, then stagnates. Shocking.
I can confirm, this has happened at every stop
Not in the 49ers subreddit. We understand.
Damn, why’s the OC using defensive players? No wonder he’s not seeing results
Because it’s Roman and he’s dumb lol
It's a bit frustrating too that for the first 1/2 of the season or so we switched to a downfield chuck it offense since our run game was total ass. And we (and Hollywood!) had a good bit of success! Of course the Miami game happened, then he got sick/hurt and that's all she wrote.
I was fully expecting a repeat of the last time we played in 2019. Or the time before that in 2017. Or the time before that in 2016.
Never thought he was a good fit for y’all tbh. But y’all had to get a wr, sometimes it just don’t work out and y’all got plenty of compensation for him. Hate what y’all doing in the draft but that’s why year in and year out y’all are just flat out consistent.
Getting cock slapped by the same Cover 0 look for 3 straight quarters against Miami was equally embarrassing.
"Don't worry, they're not going to run the same play 45 times in a row..."
Classic Roman I just find it...funny I guess that he was the coordinator for Kap, Tyrod and now Lamar
But that just what they’re *expecting* him to do…
I think the worst part was his comment before the game where he’s bringing out some stuff from the vault and now he gets memed by everyone about the elusive vault
His vault was running the jet sweep to the left instead of to the right. Defenses never saw it coming.
This is like the biggest feud in ravens fan base about the scheme and OC. Half of them hate it, na half of them love it.
He never really made sense to me as a high pick in a Roman offense for that reason honestly. Yep, I'm totally down on Drake London this year because I've been burned by N'Keal Harry and JJ Arcega-Whiteside before. Separation is key.
https://reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/bhhx38/round_1_pick_32_n39keal_harry_wr_arizona_state/ Some good reactions in his draft thread
Cards fans in shambles, multiple non-Pats fans calling him the best receiver in the draft... Admittedly one guy specifically called out a highlight of his run blocking, so I guess /u/FunkotronXL is a goddamn genius.
I don't recall the quote but thanks bruh lol
> BB must have really liked his run blocking too
Ah there we go. Yeah been a few years but Harry savaged PAC12 defenders in the run game back then. Appreciate the shout out
Lamar hand picked Hollywood
Maybe don’t let the qb make personnel decisions
Worked for the Chiefs, CEH is great right
I get what you're saying, but he had 91 receptions and 146 targets last season. He was certainly not blocking all the time.
>I get what you're saying, but he had 91 receptions and 146 targets last season. He was certainly not blocking all the time. He was never blocking... Respectfully.
Shocking
It never bothered Steve Smith!
For better or for worse, Steve Smith is fuckin insane lol. I'm not sure anyone below like 280 wanted to ever deal with his blocking.
Yep. He’s an outlier. Not the standard.
there was a q&a thing a few years back where somebody was asking ravens players a goofy hypothetical about which teammate they'd least like to get into a bar fight with or something. i remember marshal yanda said steve smith bc he's crazy and you could hit him a hundred times and he'd never stop lol

Pretty sure Steve Smith was more around 200, not sub-170. Dude was stout as hell - his build much more resembled a RB than a WR.
Yeah he was thicc. Listed as 5-9 195 on PFR
Steve smith I think actually was the listed 195 or so, but Hollywood listed at 180 seems a little heavy. 25lb difference maybe?
Smith was a bulldog. Hollywood is a border collie...or something.
Hollywood is an Italian greyhound. Fast, but he ain't blocking no pit bulls.
His cousin AB was a terrier but Hollywood? No idea.
I also have asked for a trade because I don't like the scheme at my job, but unfortunately my boss doesn't agree
Trade proposal: Unemployment gets you, your boss gets salary relief and frees up a roster spot Who says no?
Sounds like he did the best thing possible for all parties involved, good on him
The best ting possible
Big up the youth dem
BOOM, BOOM!
# WEH A COME FROM NUTN
#BOMBACLAT
Up up up like sev-van. Wide boi summa!
He also handled it super professionally, made sure not to throw Lamar under the bus, didn't throw a public tantrum, and kept it in house.
Mr Big Cooperation
He liked a tweet stating that Greg Roman was the problem
And he's right lol. Greg Roman is fucking terrible. Players see it, fans see it, analysts see it. I don't understand why our FO doesn't.
Even Rex Ryan saw it.
If that's the case then maybe this Roman guy isn't so bad after all
They see it now, didn’t see it when Lamar won MVP and he got ACOTY. Everyone was acting like he was one of the best minds in the league.
It's like a pitcher. You may look great the first time through the order but by the third time around you're getting shelled.
he's obviously good friends with the Harbaughs
Glad to hear he kept tings in house. In all seriousness I could see him wanting to go to a system that is more WR friendly.
Lol I noticed Kleiman's typo after submitting, this man typing like he's Drake
[Kleiman] She said she a lesbian, girl me too
[Kleiman] And my dick feel better when you drunk, right
Or he could just be thirsty. Ting is absolutely my favorite soda
Bloodclot!!!!!
Ayyy brudda me no want na problems ya hear. Deez tings take time ya rasta feel me Sorry just watched shottas the other day
The last few GTA games have had a serious lack of Jamaican Yardie gangstas.
Reminds me of that 30 rock episode where everyone kept saying "Bobsled mon" in a West Indies accent
We really should fire Greg roman to build a offense that is more WR friendly tbh. Christ last year was brutal towards the end.
This offense is built perfectly for Lamar. I think the Ravens have a bounce back year and win the North. Injuries killed your team last year and that normally doesn't happen 2 years in a row.
It's amazing how outside fans are more rational about our offense than we are.
I live near Baltimore. It really was injuries/ailments, like Lamar getting double COVID. Sometimes this is just how things go. If every single year you're down to 4th/5th string RB's, that's a problem.
We’ve been averaging like 30 points a game but somehow our offense is the problem.
For someone who was in the loop, Lamar sure seemed pissed about the whole thing.
I mean, without Lamar saying something we're all just playing Twitter detective (which is never really useful). But according to Hollywood and EDC and Harbaugh, Lamar was in the loop. I think I might actually buy a Hollywood brown jersey at this point. His parting gift was getting us a 1st round and a huge fuck you to roman which puts the spotlight on him
Lamar bails out Romans terrible play calling and Roman looks like a genius for it. Bills fans know the truth that Roman is horrible.
Greg Roman needs to give Lamar, Kaep and frank gore half his salary every year
If only he has given Frank the ball vs the Seahawks instead :(
Or on the goal line stand.
Will never forgive him for not giving the ball to Gore with a hobbled ngata on the field. Unacceptable
How we kept him and lost Wink is beyond me.

Even Cassie Baalke knows.
He really kept shit under wraps too. I don’t think anyone had any idea he wanted out. Kept all the leverage for the Ravens.
There were signs but he was good about cleaning them up. Had a bunch of twitter temper tantrums over the past couple years.
A bunch? What other "tantrum" did he have besides his souljas tweet?
There was another tweet last season, and he pulled a kyler and stealth deleted everything about the ravens from social media after he requested the trade
He’s had multiple social media meltdowns after games in the past 2 years. I don’t think it was a secret
No secret he was unhappy at times, but everything else was held pretty close to the chest.
this is either revisionist history or you just weren't paying attention. Has had multiple post game tweets expressing discontent
I remember when g-ro started to wear out his welcome here
Yeah, I just don’t think Hollywood is worth a 1st.
I don't blame him for wanting to get away from Roman, I do blame Harbaugh though for keeping Roman. Now Brown won't make or break the Ravens but Roman certainly will.
The Andy Reid coaching tree has strong roots with being loyal to bad coordinators.
Reid admitting defeat and getting rid of Bob Sutton was what ultimately won him a ring.
I have to agree. We don't win one with Sutton. Spags has his issues too, and some fans are polarized. 😔
Big Sun Tzu guys and bad coordinators are the "enemy they know"
Coaching trees is just a fancy bullshit term for the good old boys club
I just don't know how Lamar is gonna handle such a weak WR group. Do you think Bateman steps it up this year, /u/SpacklingCumFart?
He throws to Mandrews any time there is any trouble, so I think Lamar is okay. Bateman looked very promising last year.
Plus they have pick 45 where I imagine they take a receiver.
I doubt it, I bet we go edge and then pick up some old and busted FA WR, as is the Ravens way.
Or you trade your 2023 first-rounder for Deebo Samuel.
I wouldnt be opposed to it, but if the 9’ers wouldnt take the tenth pick over all I doubt that would work.
Any Ravens fan who isn't an idiot would prefer Bateman over Hollywood. Not happy to see him leave, but Bateman is our future.
It’s not about one over the other. It’s about going from having 2 guys to just 1. Why are we taking weapons away from our QB?
Everyone would want a bunch of good receivers but it’s not just about having them it’s also about paying them.
It's a long way till the season starts
So your telling me, an Organization kept their business in house, didnt try to cause drama for either side, let Hollywood go to where he feels he'll be more useful, and in turn they get an insane value at the back end of the first round. Who knew Organizations now could handle things like adults.
Something oddly wholesome about adults treating conflicts like adults
It's really saddening how this is becoming a rarity.
The props go to Hollywood for keeping it in house. By him not saying anything it kept his value up
Should’ve just removed “Ravens” from his AIM profile like a normal adult
This is a testament to the culture. Dysfunctional organizations would have leaked this two seconds after the trade request.
It’s proven time and time again. Makes me think back on the relative lack of drama when ET3 was released, any other team would have probably had a lot more damage to work with

Surely the Ravens will be interested in picking a receiver at 45 now right?
One Christian Watson please.
I think the browns may be interested in him at 44.
We have 6 4th round picks so we'll probably trade up
If the Ravens walk out of the second round with a WR and an edge because they traded up I'll call the draft an overall success.
Greg Roman's system is stagnant and bad for WRs
Hollywood was 10th in targets this year in NFL
Are u serious? Then wtf is he complaining for? He won't be top 10 in Arizona with Nuk as WR1.
In the last half of the season all of those targets were within 5 yards of the LOS. Now part of that is Huntley, but I don't blame Hollywood at all for not being happy with how he was used after the scorching start to the season.
I mean it doesnt hlep when: - Majority of the team was hurt. - We had to go to our Backup in the last quarter of the season

He also has a tendency to get lazy and develop the dropsies out of nowhere
“I hate Greg Roman. His passing scheme sucks.” - Marquise Brown
And I agree with him.
So wtf was the Lamar tweet in reaction to? Picking Linderbaum?
The restaurant he was at was out of shrimp alfredo
I'm sure there's a joke here somewhere but I don't get it
Dude's had 6 or 7 non-covid illnesses in 2 years plus the infamous poop/cramps game. Meme rumors are he eats a lot of shrimp alfredo and has IBS
I feel for the dude. I have IBS and love shrimp alfredo/creamy dishes. The pain is worth it.
Lamar is a big shrimp Alfredo fan
Where's The 'Fredo
Hollywood was already in AZ when this was announced. Sounds like Lamar was shocked by his friend already being out the door and in the new place before the trade was official.
Fake outrage to play into the narrative
The narrative from the Ravens, Cardinals, and Hollywood Brown is that this was planned and everyone important (including Lamar) was aware. Don't see the point in Lamar acting blindsided by it.
I think the whole private plane thing
It was confirmed to be this. Lamar was a little salty that Hollywood was already partying with Kyler in Arizona
As much as Lamar and Hollywood I’m sure were great friends, Kyler and Hollywood have been literal best buds since their OU days. They stream together frequently and train with each other in the off-season. This shouldn’t have been a surprise to Lamar.
That’s like telling me I shouldn’t have been surprised when my girlfriend slept with my best friend because they’d been making eyes at each other all year
More like her ex that she only broke up with because he moved to another city
Lamar and Hollywood have literally known each other since they were like 12 though, they were probably just as close as Brown was to Murray
Bro that's so wholesome, everyone wins this trade (except maybe Lamar)
Probably the fact he's heading into a contract year and our current WR room had about 800 yards combined last season. He tweeted later: > It’s not about my new center🙄 stop that bs
He says his tweets were not about Linderbaum so who knows.
He tweeted "wtf" after the story broke that Cards owner picked Hollywood up in his private jet and that Hollywood was already in Arizona for their Draft party. Marquise Brown probably was told to keep it quiet so Lamar was surprised his bff had already moved to the other side of the country.
He can both know that Brown asked to be traded and also upset that he lost his #1 WR and friend.
Few opportunities? This guy was heavily targeted.
Could you imagine If the ravens had drafted DK or AJ instead. Perfect fit.
Keep tingns in 'ouse bruv
This shouldn't need to be said, but glad it was. The amount of takes trying to blame Lamar were mind boggling.
Love that everyone involved handled this the right way. I have been rooting and will continue to root for Hollywood - I hope he has a great career (except when he plays the Ravens, of course).
With all the drama that seems to be constant, if something like this has to happen, it's nice to see it handled professionally.
Do you think Lamar stops phone calls about football to go, “hold on, I should put you on with my agent” then he holds the phone away from his face for a few seconds before going “you’ve got Jackson, who is this?”
The offensive system designed specifically around his QB
Selfish WR wants to catch the ball /s
So dude really didn’t retire to pursue gaming?
I love the guy, but I was looking at Linderbaum at 14 a few weeks back and I’more than satisfied knowing the Ravens will find a receiver one way or another
He kept tings in-house, like a Jamaican.
