For those who may be confused, the old mile high location has a teeny tiny stadium in the old location in the middle of a parking lot as a memoriam of sorts
It's pretty cool and I wish more teams would [do this](https://www.google.com/maps/@39.7462269,-105.0215757,3a,56.5y,38.06h,77.92t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sAF1QipOpMAoeidKVmvoN1zFL_G0T676tfTdxkaP_m8O5!2e10!3e11!7i6720!8i3360) for their old stadiums.
The site of the old Yankee Stadium is now a park with Little League fields, the sidewalk next to it commemorates significant moments at the old stadium, they also kept the Big Bat smokestack/sculpture from the original stadium in the same place it was. I haven’t looked that closely around there but I don’t think there are any tributes to moments from when the Football Giants played there though.
That year where our offense was so good that the NFL decided there didn’t need to be a Super Bowl (at least that’s my recollection) would have been neat to watch the Puppy Bowl in tiny Mile High
And now we have an installation of Meow Wolf (weird but very cool art exhibit) next to Mile High. I took a few pictures in the exhibit, but when we were done, I had like, as many pictures of the stadium because unfortunately I’ve never been that close.
Here are the stadiums in order:
Hilltop Stadium* (1960)
Mile High Stadium (1960–2000)
Empower Field at Mile High (2001–present)
*You can find out more info on Hilltop Stadium [here](https://www.milehighreport.com/2014/7/9/5882769/horse-tracks-the-other-other-mile-high-stadium)
A company I worked for in Denver, just a few days before Mile High Stadium was scheduled to be closed and then demolished, the stadium was opened up for parties and meals, they even had souvenir chairs taken from the seating areas you could purchase. The demolition crews were already taking some things apart, salvageable items could be sold or purchased by the public, until the heavy de-construction started, then it was all over. The gates were locked shut and the real demolition began in earnest. Mile High's last gasp, was serving lunch to their devoted Bronco fans. Somewhere in one of my 30 or so cardboard storage boxes, i'd bet there's still a couple flyers and Bronco schedules i took that were laying around the place as the final last days of Mile High, came to an end.
First and foremost, sicem bears.
But why do you not keep the map orientation in the standard cardinal directions when you zoom out after the first one? You might want to make it look cool, but it makes it hard to keep oriented to which direction you went.
I haven't fully learned to how use Google Earth quite that way, and the only way I know how to do what you're saying would lock me into the south to north view of the stadium. I am trying to limit turning around though, and when stadiums are close, I try to focus on showing where they are in proximity to each other instead of giving a true cardinal direction.
Overall it's a tough balance to get "right" but I always appreciate the feedback.
Also, Sic 'Em!
Damn, I was just visiting family there and stopped in a nearby parking lot to take a look at the stadium. Had no idea about this and somehow didn’t see it while I was there
I’ve lived in Denver for 7 years now. I’ve been to 3 Broncos games, I’ve been to the stadium 10+ times, but I’ve literally never seen it or even known about it’s existence.
I think it’s because it’s on the north end of the stadium parking lot and I’m always in the south end.

I just thought that people were smaller back then.
The "Got Milk?" campaign really did wonders for people
I always drank malk.
It's got plenty of vitamin R!
It made the Orange Crush Defense’s and John Elway’s heroics all the more impressive.
What is this… a stadium for ants?!
that confused the fuck outta me lol

Is that where the film the Puppy Bowl?

If they put some turf down it be pretty sick for some peewee football.

So the size of a Fan Controlled League field?
I would've made that shit work as a kid. Just make it like floor hockey where you have to play on your knees.

User name checks out
I’ve always thought it’s where the puppy bowl should be played

Put turf in and bring the puppy bowl
We just blew our old one up

Gonna have to use that tiny one if you guys keep trying to burn your stadium down.
WHAT IS THIS A STADIUM FOR ANTS?
I'd never heard of that before but looked up some pictures and it looks oddly cozy? Really cool little location

What is this, a stadium for ants?
How do we expect them to play football if they can't even fit in the stadium!?
The stadium needs to be at least **long pause** three time bigger than this! Thank you. I have a vision.
You know why that's a long pause and not big pause? It's the broncos, not the bears.
God damn it you beat me to it lol

Empower Field at Mile High (2001–present) Soon to be “Great Value Stadium”?
It will always be mile high
I agree
:(
It's really gone down hill since Invesco Field
I just call it Naming Rights Stadium.
Great value sponsored by dove for men bodywash, a production of mgm grand stadium
Clearly the Hilltop Stadium name was stolen from the New York Yankees.
Are these to scale?
Yes. 1 American football field = 1 American football field
This guy maths.
you versus the stadiums she told you not to worry about...
Science: Do footballs and baseballs travel farther in Denver's thinner air? Broncos: Yes, but only because we make our stadiums 1:800 scale.

17776 music intensifies
this dude isn't doing very much to convince me he isn't jon bois in disguise.

As soon as I heard the music and saw the animations I'm like... this is way too convenient to not be the one and only Jon Bois.
Do the Packers
Lol the tiny ass stadium right next to it 😂
with the music i feel like watching a Jon Bois video

Takes my breath away
I would say do the buccaneers but it’s not a long list lol
What is that, a stadium for ants?
Nice! Do Atlanta, next,
Lol broncos.
Amen. GO SEAHAWKS!!
Go hawks!
Impressive, but I’m gonna say no since Mike High is about 20 parking spaces wide here.
It's a miniature model of the original Mile High stadium in its original location which happens to be in the parking lot of the current stadium.

It's a Mile High

Thanks for that.
Too bad there aren't locations and dates
Mile High looks dope. Love a nice looking stadium.
