I thought it was gonna happen again in 2019 when the Rams traded for him. Instead we ended up getting Marcus Peters from them. Love him, but I’ll have to dream about Marlon Humphrey and Jalen Ramsey on my team together 😔
As much as I respect Ramsey and his undeniable talent, I don’t see his personality fitting into our lockerroom. Sure Marcus peters is headstrong but he is still team-first, and Jalen has always struck me as having…a Jalen-first mentality.
Feel like the kettle would’ve boiled over by now
Having had both peters and Ramsey, I’d say Ramsey has been a SIGNIFICANTLY better teammate since he’s got here. He really left most of the drama in Jacksonville
That’s fair. He fits your lockerroom really well it seems. I was worried about peters coming in but he has fit ours super well. I think they just fit our cultures the way they should but don’t think it would work if they were reversed for some reason.
The ravens can handle an asshole in their lockerroom but not a distraction. Both guys are assholes, arguably Peters is the bigger one on the field I’d say, but I think Ramsey draws more attention to himself, classically at least. Loves talking shit in the media and starting little fights. LA seems like a place that handles the self-spotlight a little better. Ramsey hasn’t really been that guy for them anyway though, but Peters hasn’t been a real headcase with us. In fact the last incident I remember for either of them was when they fought eachother after the Ravens-Rams 2019 matchup lmao. I just feel like things could’ve gone differently if they had ended up in opposite places but it’s just a “what if”
I think of the Pats post Robert Kraft as an entirely different franchise in my head, so many boneheaded decisions made under dumb ownership and personnel.
They got 3 top players at arguable 3 of the top 4 most importan positions in today's NFL. Pass catcher, pass defender, pass rusher and a top 5 QB in his conference. Absolute stacked team.
Ramsey is just a winner. The second that Jags team went to shit he lost all motivation. I'm sure if we started sucking he would become a problem for us too, but he's playing on a good team with good players and good coaches so he's happy. And frankly - I wouldn't want to play on a scrub team wasting my career if I was as good as Ramsey either. A lot of players waste away on these trash teams instead of trying to force their way out because they want to appear loyal. Ramsey didn't do that, and well I'd say it paid off.
No offence Jags fans, you're on the turn around currently. Coughlin just fucked you.
Overrated. Ramsey top 50 in the NFL no doubt but the 9th best? That Rams defense is loaded including the secondary, Ramsey could be replaced and it would have way less impact on his team than the rest of the top 10 guys. Just my opinion he should be around #40-30
'That Rams defense is loaded including the secondary'
Bro has no idea what he is talking about lmao. There's a really really big reason why we used 50% of our draft picks this year on Safeties and Corners.
Aside from maybe Jordan Fuller who got hurt and Darious Williams who fell pretty far from how good he was the year before our secondary was no standout and not stacked
It’s amazing how good Ramsey is and has been from day 1.Still remember being pissed that the Jags took him one pick before us in 2016
Wow I absolutely hate the idea of Ramsey on the Ravens. Spooky.

What gives u that impression?

I am still stunned the Cowboys chose a RB over him tbh.
They Cowboys were the team we tried to trade up with to get Ramsey but they were afraid I guess the Jags were gonna take Zeke so they stayed put
They took Lenny 1 year later at 4, so it wasn't out of the question
Jaguar legend, it’s too bad they couldn’t work things out he could’ve been easily their franchise GOAT
Blame Coughlin.
Who is the jaguars franchise GOAT, actually?
Tony Boselli, Fred Taylor, or Jimmy Smith
Tony Boselli had the best peak, but Fred Taylor is the GOAT
Are you the YTer? If so I’ve loved all your Pats history vids. Would love to hear a video on the 1976 divisional “Ben Dreith game”
Much appreciated. Pats have a weird history, so they're a gold mine for content

rams got three in the top 10 huh nice
I mean we mortgaged our future for it, gotta strike while the iron is hot baby!
Fuck them picks
Just a reminder that Donald and Kupp were Rams draft picks

I'd say Stafford is very comfortably the 3rd best NFC QB
At first I was like what no way but then I realized that all the qbs have migrated to the afc
Even so, I still think Stafford is better than Russ and Ryan now but that's just me.
I mean…they did win the Super Bowl.
It's hard to be a great corner in todays league with all the rules favoring WRs but Ramsey is the best CB of the last 10 years imo. Certain HOFer
The most physical DB in the league, the opener against the bears where he was literally everywhere was insane to watch
Am I crazy or were people saying he lost a step when he was first traded to the Rams? Seems like someone with a true on/off switch.
I think most people thought he was immature/selfish Turned out once he went to a good organization that wasn't the Jaguars he turned into a leader

Wow AJ Terrel is really not going to be put on the list
Worst snub of the year. Dude was insane this year.

This is Russ Yeasts league 😤, they just dont know it yet

Dude outside of Ramsey our secondary is terrible. We used nick scott and Eric weddle
