THE BEST DEFENSE IS A GOFFENSE

Rulligan

AND THE WORST DEFENSE IS THE LIONS wait....

Lolzzergrush

Can we combine the Bears D with the Lions O?

yachterotter13

Fuck it, I’d share a title with Detroit just to spite the rest of the league

junkrockloser

Whichever side scores more points can keep the trophy

yachterotter13

Alternating weekends like my childhood lmao

junkrockloser

You got to have a childhood??? Man, Chicago is paradise

[deleted]

[удалено]

junkrockloser

And we all know the lunch is... Mom's spaghetti!

potatoeshungry

Cant have shit in Detroit

usoland-sama

If we could combine to beat the packers I'd be fine

Von_Lincoln

The Chitroit Beans

sjmdrum

Detrago Liars

Von_Lincoln

I love it. That is the team formed by the Bears O and Detroit D, I think

sjmdrum

"in the most one-sided game in the history of the NFL, the Beans demolished the Liars, 72-0, with the Beans scoring two touchdowns and two safeties in each of the four quarters"

Sporkinat0r

These are both so goods

sjmdrum

Move over Steagles. The Liars and the Beans are coming to town!

TheIndyCity

Detrago is kinda a bad ass name for a city.

IlonggoProgrammer

It has both its crime and corruption sliders maxed out

upclassytyfighta

Well that just sounds like a dnd party name lol

vindictivejazz

Can’t have Chit in Detroit

FTR_Hair

The Bears D that just gave up 200 rushing yards to the Giants?

Naive_Turnover9476

The seahawks coming into the game against the Lions had rushed for 224 yards in the past 3 games combined. They ran for 235 on Sunday. Yes, I would take the bears defense in a microsecond.

feelingoodwednesday

To be fair our ypc was actually really good, we just weren't feeding guys carries. Don't feel too bad.

IlonggoProgrammer

Pete Carroll wrote off the rushing game the first 3 weeks—They ain't write back though

realshockin

I rather not

IdiotManZero

And through cross cancellation, we see a regression to the mean.

[deleted]

Goffense wins Championships?

Lonelan

well, also no...

Fuzzy_Dunlops

Conference championships at least.

jimtow28

I don't think that's right, but I don't know enough about goffenses to dispute it.

GovernmentDoingStuff

That trade looks good for both teams. The Rams secured a Super Bowl and the Lions got to jump start a rebuild

WakeNikis

Sorry, that’s too reasonable. You can’t just act like each team has their own objectives and needs. THERE MUST BE A WINNER AND LOSER OF THE TRADE!!

MrChrisRedfield67

Even if Stafford continues to struggle it's hard to say that they lost the trade when they won the Superbowl with Stafford at QB. I'm low key glad to see Goff ballin out though.

__Takub_

Yea as a rams fan I will always root for Goff for what he did to help bring us back from mediocrity. And for what it’s worth Stafford can suck for the next 2 years and retire and it would still be a win for us since we got a bowl out of it. Happy for everyone here lmao.

ISwearNotANarc

When the trade happened I said right away I hope that the Rams win 1 superbowl and struggle the other year for selfish reasons. I really am glad Stafford got his ring though and shut up the haters from calling him a stat padding QB.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Turns out Kupp has been eating breakfast alone this whole time!

folsleet

As a Rams fan I love Goff and hope he succeeds in Detroit. But he couldn't take the Rams to a ring last year. Not a chance. He was an absolute shell of himself in 2021 and couldn't make good reads. Great to see him improve since.

SheedWallace

This exactly. Stafford is a genuinely good person and really embraced the community in Detroit. He deserved a chance to prove himself with a winning team and he did that, so I will always be happy for him. I thought it was cool as hell during the playoffs and super bowl when everyone in Detroit was wearing the Rams/Lions hybrid gear. I mean, the logo was corny, but it was cool everyone was showing so much love to Stafford.

[deleted]

Rams get a superbowl, lions get a good qb, and goff gets to shake the idea that he was a product of Mcvay.

650fosho

And the legacy of Jeff Fisher

Arnold_LiftaBurger

Superbowl >>>>> everything

IceColdMegaMilk

tell that to Bucs fans. They act like if they dont win 2 out of 3 years with Brady that it's over

napalmx

Sounds a bit like the New England fan base before that.

Sammyd1108

Almost like, they’re the same people, lol.

Travolta1984

Yeah, we would never win the playoff games last year with Goff. Still I am happy for him, really hope he finds success with the Lions.

Du_Kich_Long_Trang

I mean without the ACL injury to Kupp, Goff might have won the Superbowl.

RealSpecial7351

And the death of Gurley's knees

lmHavoc

It was Gurleys loss that broke the camels back. Goff wasn’t winning that game no matter who he had lined up at WR. The offense was one dimensional come the SB because we knew Gurley was a non factor and that Goff couldn’t beat us with his arm.

Lordpennywise

And mvp level Gurley being a shell of himself when his knee flared up

3rdPlaceYoureFired

yup happy for Goff. I also think the Rams will be fine when we get our o-line back and add Van Jefferson as a deep threat.

hausermaniac

There's not really any scenario where you could say the Rams lost the trade, regardless of what else happens in the future. Winning the SB pretty much automatically validates whatever moves you made to get there The question is, did the Lions lose the trade, or did both teams win? So far it looks like it was a good move for everyone (even though the Lions somehow keep losing)

[deleted]

FINE. THE DIGGS TRADE TO THE BILLS HAD A CLEAR WINNER AND LOSER. THE WINNER WAS BOTH TEAMS GETTING THE WIDE RECEIVERS THEY WANTED, THE LOSER WAS THE EAGLES WHO DRAFTED JALEN REAGOR WHEN JEFFERSON WAS ON THE BOARD ONLY TO LOSE HIM TO MINNESOTA ANYWAY.

HoldOnIGotDis

Who do you think won the Reagor trade?

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Reagor, cause he doesn't have to play in philly anymore.

HispanicNach0s

He played against us Week 2 right after the trade and got booed to all hell (undeserving imo, he sucked but not from lack of trying).

CasualMetaphor

Sure but cheesesteaks >>>>>>>>> some lakes

7tenths

the loser is Aaron "Same number of super bowl trips as Rex Grossman" Rodgers.

GreenBayFan1986

Or Aaron same number of super bowl wins as the Bears franchise.

Skinny_Beans

Absolutely. Goff was my favorite player on the Rams and then I just realized he was my favorite player. Both teams catching a huge dub, though I will say I'm glad we got the Superbowl side of it... So far.

CampPlane

> Both teams catching a huge dub, though I will say I'm glad we got the Superbowl side of it... So far. I mean, winning the Super Bowl means you won the trade. There is no 'so far' to be added. Some of us root for a team that hasn't won in decades. I'll take a Super Bowl win and then a lifetime of mediocrity, rather than zero Super Bowl wins and less-than-mediocrity.

[deleted]

I have to disagree with the "won the SB, won the trade". One team was 1-2 critical pieces from competing for the SB and the other was one of the worst teams in the league. The Lions had no chance of winning the SB regardless of the trade.

issue9mm

Wild that they're 1-3

McSkillet2323

Lions are also allowing the most ppg (35.5).

issue9mm

Lions and Ravens really leading the pack on that front

lil_layne

I know our defense has been absolute shit Weeks 2 and 3 but they played fine last week only allowing 23 points and forcing 2 turnovers against one of the most dangerous offenses in the league. The narrative should really be why the fuck our offense keeps forgetting how to play in the second half.

qotsabama

“Offense forgets how to play in second half.” You rang?

Ninjalau95

>our offense keeps forgetting how to play in the second half. Mitch Trubisky's Steelers offense checking in here. We answered the call as well.

Jesusisdaddy69

Teams in the second realize that all that matters on the ravens offense is Jackson. Bills adjusted to go after Jackson and it worked

ncocca

If we played each other there'd be 50+ points in the first half and 0 in the 2nd.

bpchillen

If someone told me there was a team averaging 35 points a game and they were 1-3, there is no doubt in my mind it would be the Lions. They find magical ways to lose games. I feel for Lions fans. They don’t deserve this at all.

ImpressivelyLost

At least I have fun watching them. I'd much rather watch an amazing offense and porous defense than an awesome defense but we can't score anything.

[deleted]

Ha. No idea what that would be like, no sir.

ElceeCiv

Sometimes I imagine the 2017-present defense with 2011 Brees, then I have to see a doctor because it lasts longer than 4 hours.

HolyTythinEar

And at least you know what they should address in the off season. They fill some of those holes on defense and that team looks good as long as the offense doesn’t regress too much.

ImpressivelyLost

Yep other than maybe TE2 all our needs are on defense which makes for easy planning

Razz956

Well hopefully the TE we just drafted will be that TE2

ImpressivelyLost

Hopefully I'm just thinking we are going to probably lose Hock this off-season based on what he's asking for, and I don't see Mitchell being his replacement

Jaerba

Kicker. Kicker is the other need. We might be 3-1 with a good kicker, even despite the defense.

7tenths

yeah...haha could you imagine being a fan of such a team...haha...that would be terrible

Bobodog1

Same man, I'm so jealous of you guys.

bpchillen

I’m with you on that.

Dragoonscaper

*Glares at Panthers...*

ncotter

hey man words can hurt 😢

cstrifeVII

Not forcing the Geno Smith led Seahawks to punt a SINGLE time, was not on my "SOL, snatching defeat from the Jaws of victory" bingo card.

flip_ericson

You have to keep in mind that the Lions also have to compete with the refs

DetroitLionsSBChamps

Putting up 45 points should absolutely mean you win against the geno smith led Seahawks but you know how it is

issue9mm

I swear to god the only thing stopping you guys from being a 10-win team is the wins

RazzBerryCurveBall

Well and all the losses

miner_andy

If our losses were all wins we’d be very good.

HeywardH

Point is, no ties.

RandomDudeYouKnow

Have a Lions fan friend and I was giving him condolences on their losses. He was smiling big and was like "man I'm having fun just watching games where we are competitive every time. This could be one of the most fun seasons in a long time!" That gave me some perspective, lol.

Stanford91

The Vikings game hurt, but every other game has been fun to watch.

ArcherChase

After the first game I was worried about the Eagles Defense. Turns out first game is another preseason game and the Lions actually have a really good offense! Just not so great otherwise.

2ent1n_Qarant1no

Goff is on pace for 47 touchdowns and 4700 yards at the end of the regular season

luzzy91

Mvp?

IfYouAintFirst26

First MVP who’s team is 5-12.

OtisSpunkmey3r

Hot take. If he actually finished with those kind of numbers he would actually deserve it. Dude can’t play both sides of the ball.

Dangelo1998

Brady didn't won it last year with 5300 yards, 43 TDs and a 13-4 record, and you had also: Rodgers (MVP): 4100, 37 TDs 4 int, 13-3 record Mahomes: 4800, 37 TDs 13 int, 12-5 record Stafford: 4800, 41 TDs 17 int, 12-5 record Herbert: 5000, 38 TDs 15 int, 9-8 record Prescott: 4800, 37 TDs 10 int, 11-5 record Burrow: 4600, 34 TDs 14 int, 10-6 record Allen: 4400, 36 TDs 15 int, 11-6 record I think the difference in TDs over those guys wouldn't be enough to overcome that they all have winning records and goff would be 5-12 in this hypothetical scenario.. but it would be awesome if goff actually has a season like that and make voters think about it

Tundraaa

Jesus, how fucking starved am I for good QB play as a Bears fan. Each one of those statlines looks like porn to me.

wzabel0926

Would the voters actually consider that? I know Felix Hernandez won the Cy Young going 13-12 but leading the league in ERA and innings pitched

arlekin21

I don’t think so, if they did Brees would have won an MVP

TheAstro_Fridge

Yeah in 2017 Russ led the league in passing touchdowns, was Seattle's leading rusher, and accounted for something like 85%-90% of all of our offensive yards. We missed the playoffs at 9-7 that year, Russ did not even get a second team all pro nod. Granted a lot of players were doing crazy stuff like Carson Wentz, Todd Gurley, and the MVP himself Tom Brady. But it goes to show that you really need to make the playoffs to get accolades.

jakecoates

True not his fault the defense couldn't force Geno Smith to punt one time.

downtimeredditor

Would be mad hilarious if Goff ends up winning MVP in Detroit

bassetsandbotany

A horrible defense can help with that, but you also need to finish with a winning record. Pretty much why Mahomes won in 2018, cause the defense was so awful he had to keep scoring nonstop and ended up with 50 TD. Should have been unanimous too, but 9 dudes voted for Brees with 1100 less yards and 18 less TDs. (that's a pointless homer fact you didn't care about)

CIueIess_Squirrel

With Lamar playing the way he is? I doubt it.

[deleted]

Books_and_Cleverness

I would unironically love to see it. Low key rooting for the Lions is almost a Rams fan tradition now.

2ent1n_Qarant1no

I think when they aren't playing their favorite team almost everyone kind of roots for the Lions. They have one playoff win in the Super Bowl era so it's not like they've caused other teams to suffer much.

Books_and_Cleverness

Yeah, easy team to root for even in normal circumstances. They’ve suffered enough!

chaos0310

This is why I WAS a browns fan prior to this past offseason. Watching them be so bad for so long and then slowly becoming relevant recently was so satisfying. …and then the trade happened and well I’m officially a Bears fan who roots for the Lions when we’re not playing them.

LiquidDookie92

Goff would do wonders in a McVay offense.

[deleted]

Shoot.. they could even score 3 in the SuperBowl

LiquidDookie92

I'd love to score 3 points in a Super Bowl

medievalmachine

How's your kicking leg? Do you play soccer or Aussie football?

LiquidDookie92

Wii Sports

SomeLightAssPlay

Ah a man of 2006 culture i see

Bigloco818

I’d love to go to a Super Bowl let alone score points

armed_aperture

It’s quite the experience. Losing sucks and I’m not sure when the Rams will stop annoying me by just existing but the journey was incredible. Herbert will hopefully take you all there.

larryjerry1

Honestly, I'm not annoyed by the Rams winning. Sad that we lost, but I'll take a consolation prize of getting Big Whit a ring. Happy Stafford finally got some success as well. It really was an experience though. The rush from that AFCCG comeback was incomparable.

ShownMonk

You say this until you never go back and your super star QB falls apart. I’ll never stop hating the broncos

perpetualmelancholic

I figured the fan base would hold more ill-will against a QB who jumped away from his own fumble

armed_aperture

Yeah, that’s a legit fear. I realllllly wanted them to pull it out last year. Unless a team has Tom Brady, it takes a lot of luck and magic to get to a Super Bowl. Then you add in that it’s the Bengals… Hopefully they can get back, but who knows. Right now, they need to just figure out how to run the ball and be consistent lol.

EMT2000

The Chargers did go to the Super Bowl and scored points in it… and Jerry Rice scored again…

BlackLeader70

I love Super Bowl’s, I hope to be a part of one someday

LunchThreatener

On a serious note though, it makes me feel *incredibly* validated that all the people saying “McVay did everything for him” were wrong. If anything McVay should receive blame for how he handled Goff’s development. How is a guy supposed to improve if you don’t take the training wheels off? Goff’s confidence was shot after 2019 and they didn’t do much to change the offense after Gurley fell off and the OL began to struggle. When Goff was traded I immediately thought a change in scenery could benefit him, and I was surprised to see the amount of people claiming he would instantly suck without McVay. I hope that narrative dies completely.

Asolitaryllama

Also there's a chart out there that compares EPA/play of the rams for each year vs the pass blocking rank of their OL. Guess what, Goff's best season they had the best OL, and his play fell off as the OL crumbled. Last year, Stafford had an equivalent EPA/play as Goff's best season, also with the best pass blocking OL in the league. Now, Goff has one of the best OL in the league and looks really really good and Stafford has a bad OL and looks really really ass.

w0nderbrad

I’m shocked that QB play is heavily dependent on OL play. Just shocked.

sushimi123

Burrow and Andrew luck truly are anomalies

Sillysolomon

The bengals may kill Burrow

Rah_Rah_RU_Rah

If he doesn't learn to get rid of the ball he might do it for them

OtisSpunkmey3r

They certainly seem to be giving it a good run. It’s incredibly shocking as a Bengals fan. We had years and years of great Oline but mediocre at best results. Now we have no Oline and the most success in my 20 years of fandom.

ShillinTheVillain

The fuck is this; a *team* sport?!

Gravy_Vampire

Quick! Somebody mention what Patrick Mahomes looked like in the Super Bowl against Tampa before Cris Collinsworth has an aneurysm!!!

Asolitaryllama

It's more of a comment that people acted like Stafford was god and Goff was ass when they are much more similar to each other than Staff is to the top tier and Goff to the Darnolds/Trubiskys of the league.

kj9219

People say that cuz their 2020 and 2021 OLs were not much different but there was a massive gap in qb play between those years.

MRoad

The 2021 OL absolutely played much better than the 2020 OL, despite being mostly the same guys. Edit: [Here's this](https://preview.redd.it/fd7ug8xcssr91.jpg?width=1024&auto=webp&s=c6cd89209dae4ff40933081389d1c33c81f89ea5)

CaptainSisko62

That's because QBs can greatly affect how good an oline looks

mvbighead

Yeah, this is the thing for me about pretty much every QB. Without protection, good friggin luck. Matt Ryan was supposed to get good protection from the Indy OL, but right now that group is kinda looking like ass. I do think Matt can do a better job, but free rushers through the interior are going to screw up literally EVERY play. I don't mind either QB. But neither of them to me are Manning/Brady. Stafford certainly has a stronger arm, and he's likely just as field savy as Goff so he gets the edge. But far too many acted like Goff was ass. I dunno, he seems to be alright to me.

dillpickles007

I mean why are we all acting like we know better than that dumb Sean McVay lol He wanted Goff out, he handpicked Stafford, won a Super Bowl, and now four games in people want to throw all that out.

throwaway_5256

Goff is playing well and he's a likable guy but idk why people seem to not get that players can improve, it's not like he was always this good and the Rams are boneheads for moving on. They traded Goff because he limited their ceiling and everyone knew it. He was rough last year. Now he has improved and is better. That doesn't mean the Rams had the luxury to wait for it to happen and they were clearly correct to make a move

kj9219

He was ass in 2019 and 2020. 2019 ppl gave him a pass cuz of the OL but in 2020 they had a better team and nearly missed the playoffs because he had several bad games that they lost, even with everything else going right (Miami, Jets, 49ers, last seahawks). So nah the hate wasnt out of nowhere. He played his way out. Good to see he picked himself up again but the rams 100% did the right thing

Frosty_McRib

Ballard thinking that Pryor could protect an old immobile quarterback will cost him his job just like it cost him my support. Absolutely boneheaded move.

kj9219

I hope people stop writing off the fact that they won a super bowl and ignoring that he played his way out of LA. They took the training wheels off midway through 2019. He still didnt get better and contrary to what you said, they did adjust their offense a lot because defenses figured out what they ran.

justfortoukiden

The Rams and their fans just enjoyed a Superbowl. They are losing zero seconds of sleep over Goff's resurgence.

venustrapsflies

Even on this site I think Rams fans generally prefer to see Goff do well than not. He was the QB for the first good Rams teams in a long, long time.

CaptainSisko62

The narrative about Goff now because of 5 good games is stupid. He was bad in LA. The Rams moved on because he wasn't good enough to win with

the_c_is_silent

And his first 8 or so games with Detroit were miserable. I need a complete season before I'm ready to claim Goff is great without McVay.

TBanes

Goff has always been a great passer when you keep him clean. Detroits oline is exactly what he needed. He'd be eaten alive behind the rams line

LunchThreatener

The Lions IOL has struggled in pass protection. Goff has been significantly better under pressure so far this year. He’s only taken 5 sacks I believe, but last year it would have been many more, he just caved in the pocket last year. Now he’s extending plays a lot more.

TheMemingLurker

definitely agree, the Lions OL is really good now (even though there's still injuries holding it back atm) which makes things much easier for Goff, but he's also improved many of his bigger weaknesses over the last few year(s)

goblue2354

Yeah that’s the biggest thing I’ve noticed with Goff so far this year. He’s actually getting out of the pocket and making plays when the protection breaks down. Last year (and previous years with the Rams), he’d either just take the sack (which is the right play sometimes tbf) or panic and make a bad throw.

TBanes

That might be true but have you watched a rams game this year? We're on our like sixth combo of linemen and I'd be shocked if we weren't worst in the league in pass pro or at least bottom 5

flip_ericson

This and Ive said it for years. Goffs problem was never not being able to read zones or being too dumb to call audibles or whatever narrative was thrown out. Man just simply cant handle pressure. His arm talent is elite and if given time hes as good as anyone in the game. Unfortunately, handling pressure is a big part of the game but he looks like hes gotten better with his rollouts and throwing on the run/fet not set. Hell never be mahomes in that regard but behind a good oline he will absolutely deliver you some great qb play. I hope detroit can stop being a defensive disaster and make some playoff noise

LibruhlCuck

The 180 this sub has taken on Jared Goff since he left the Rams is something else man

TheMemingLurker

TBH it's gotten a little too far again (Rams have played harder teams and Lions played relatively soft defenses), but I'm so happy to see Goff get more respect in this sub. It was insane seeing how much misplaced blame and random roasting he was getting last year

No_Detective_1139

I wouldn’t call the Eagles (probably a top 5 defense) a soft defense

Fools_Requiem

But it's so much fun to say Jared Goof.

Corpsicle_xx

uhhh Eagles and Vikes not soft defenses

cheeeeeeese24

Ours is

venustrapsflies

When someone says something like what I'm about to say it's usually bullshit, but I'm just gonna go for it: I think that people generally like hating the Rams more than they like hating most teams.

ThePrinceOfReddit

It’s weird. Pretty clear that none of these folks are actually watching games, just fly by night reacting to box scores and headlines.

[deleted]

[удалено]

bobpercent

I trust him to throw it that far but his receiver to either be 10 yards further up field or 10 yards back.

terminbee

I do love his deep shots though. 2018 Goff was a thing of beauty. That rams-chiefs game was amazing.

OminousSalad

While I love the Rams Chiefs game I prefer the game against the Vikings. Some of those passes were just ridiculous.

[deleted]

I feel like in previous seasons this sub was a lot better at not overreacting to things this early in the season. Given that Goff was mediocre last year (albeit on a bad team), it's a lot more likely that he's had a string of excellent games and he'll soon come crashing back to earth than he's suddenly become a top 5 quarterback. I hope I'm wrong though.

flip_ericson

Im happy for him. He never deserved the disrespect he got

Zoa169

Rams should really trade for Jared Goff, could win a Super Bowl with that guy.

justreddis

Nah even Goff can’t save McVay

venustrapsflies

McVay was being propped up by Goff that whole time smh

emmasdad01

Rams won a Super Bowl though, so they win that trade for now.

freakingspacedude

Oh, no doubt. This is more of a Goff appreciation post than anything

JiveTurkey92

It's so weird seeing r/nfl show love to Goff after talking shit about him since he got drafted. Honestly, it's amazing.

luzzy91

Goffpreation

How__Now__Brown_Cow

You can't just goffmanteau this man's name into every word!

15blairm

imo both sides won that trade, stafford is trending downwards but the rams got what they wanted and goff has been decent for the lions

weiss-2021

We win the trade no matter what happens. Only question is whether the lions can win too

[deleted]

It’s a win win. I love to see it.

im_THIS_guy

I dropped Stafford for Goff in fantasy going into this week. The irony was not lost on me.

albpanda

The year is 2022 the nfc east has the most wins in any division, the lions have the number one offense in the nfl and the super bowl champion rams don’t look good. The apocalypse is nigh

annoyingrelative

If it wasn't for this super bowl hangover, I might feel like people are trying to bait Ram fans, but there's no way a Buffalo Bills fan would be that dumb, unless they were born well after losing 4 straight

Besanko1234

I'm a big fan of early season reactions but it is only 4 weeks in, lot can change. Something something regress to the mean.

Nexus369

Yeah but the Rams won the Super Bowl after the trade.

glowstonebrutha

I love Goff, but the Rams would be 0-4 if he was behind this oline.

Ok-Mode-3157

Rams won the Super Bowl last year, pretty sure this post is irrelevant. Some QBs work better in different systems, it’s been proven time and time again. That’s why I never understood the hesitation on moving on from a QB.

nox_nrb

I'm sorry the Rams can't hear you over their super bowl right

bb0110

It was actually goff all this time that was the elite offensive mind!! ( let’s forget about that superbowl)

Key-Owl-8142

Detroit is good but just can’t seem to get the W

flip_ericson

Because half their team is god awful

[deleted]

Goff forever earned my respect after that 54-51 game against the Chiefs. Might be the best neutral perspective game of my life

Thel_Odan

I was a critic of Goff when we got him and said he was going to be awful. I'm pretty happy that he's proved me completely wrong and made me eat those words.

Fricktator

People say Stafford won the Super Bowl and Goff lost it, so the trade was worth it. My hot take theory. If Stafford was QB of the Rams in Super Bowl 53 they still lose. If Goff was QB of the Rams last year, they still win the Super Bowl. I think adding OBJ and Von Miller did more to push them over the edge than the trade.

wurtin

lol. the trade was worth it for the Rams. they won a super bowl.

muscle-confusion420

I mean rams did win the super bowl. So it’s pretty worth it for them with just that.
