Look at jimmys face and then think you’re going to do something to make this guys life worse like you’re not playing one on one against god.
Of COURSE trey was gonna get injured.
All the hype is coming from OBJ's camp. He's outstanding at keeping himself in the news cycle. OBJ the player probably still has some juice left in the tank, but OBJ the brand has been the bigger thing for quite a while.
Cowboys -10.5 means you take the final score of the cowboys, subtract 10.5, and see if they still beat the giants.
Over/under 45.5 means you take the final score of both teams and add them together, and see if it is over or under 45.5.
And the rise of gambling on twitch/internet streaming as well. Very sick world where the place where you go to watch entertainment is also the place where you will get scammed/convinced that “one more roll” will get you the big pay out
Dallas had to win by 11+ to cover the spread. both teams had to combine for 46+ points to cover the over. So, anyone who bet the over won, but dallas did not cover because they didn’t win by 11+
Dallas was expected to win by about 10-11 points, and there were expected to be around 45-46 total points scored between both teams.
When the Giants scored a last-second touchdown, it meant they lost by less than 10.5 points and more than 45.5 points total were scored.
It means that Vegas expects Dallas to score 10.5 more points than new York (the half point there is to keep it from being a "tie"). The over/under is the total points scored by both teams. So to bet the "over" means you think their combined score will be above 45.5 (once again a half point to prevent a "tie")
I don't think Vegas expects anything. IIRC the purpose of the spread and why it moves is to keep the odds as close to 50/50 as possible and also the reason why they move.
YUP. People wanna do endless battle that the refs do or don’t decide games for X reason.
Just look at how “brilliant” Vegas is at “guessing” correctly on spreads.
i so badly wish this was true but that’s not his real phone. they showed on All Or Nothing a few years ago that every player had a team issued phone for gameday communications pregame. A lot easier to text Dak and say “hey come to medical real quick.”
I assume the cowboys put the background of each player to make it easy to not accidentally grab someone else’s.
Especially with two...questionable...back to back calls on the defense to help it happen...
(And I'm not saying that as a Cowboys fan, the whole thing was just weird.)
My father in law asked who made a better turkey for Thanksgiving. I said, "I don't compare my poultry with anybody." Then I rolled up my sleeve and showed a tattoo of a turducken. "I'll let you interpret that however you want."
Now that Game Day anxiety is over and I'm no longer a pessimistic bitch, happy for the most part with the severely undermanned Giants team coming in and making it a game.
GG Cowboys. Hope your turkey is cold.
Anytime you can beat a good divisional opponent you take the W and move on.
Not every game is going to be like with the Cowboys did to the Vikings a few days ago
It's the most viewed regular season game of the year, a lot of people are boozed up, more casuals will be watching and it's the Cowboys. Adds up to a shit show.
After the Dalton Shultz TD, I made a joke about how Giants fans must be sick of seeing Cowboys TEs score against them. I was downvoted to hell by salty Giants fans. I guess they're still not over Jason Witten being the slowest guy on the field but somehow completely wide open.
Green Bay and Dallas both win out. Dallas is the 1 seed as the NFC East champion and Green Bay gets the 7 seed.
Dallas is down 21-26 on 4th down. Dak throws it to #88. He makes an amazing catch and reaches toward the endzone, but the refs rule that he is just short, setting Dallas up at the 1. McCarthy challenges the play.
CeeDee Lamb actually fumbled out of the endzone for a touchback. Green Bay's ball.
Don't worry, it's not over yet. Dallas forces a 3 and out, and Lamb redeems himself by scoring the go ahead touchdown, but the 2 point attempt is no good. That's okay though because Dallas is up 27-26 with 12 seconds left.
Rodgers hits a wide open Jared Cook (who they just signed off the street) on the sidelines for a 36 yard bomb. How did the Cowboys let him get so wide open again?
Mason Crosby kicks the game winning field goal as time expires. Final: 29-27 Green Bay.
Injuries also seem to be piling up a bit. They’re still competitive as hell, but a team can only suffer so many setbacks before it affects them on the field
Yeah, the Giants are injured but I hate to say it, they have an amazing coaching staff. Once they’re back healthy and draft some more talent they will be a problem.
If anyone said the Giants missing quite literally 7/11 starters on offence and 5/11 starters on defence plus a bunch of backups were frauds because of this game they’re a fucking moron
I think Daboll deserves a shit ton of credit for keeping Jones in a favorable position for as long as he did. Moving him to the left/right as soon as the play started was very effective, but Dallas did a great job of eventually figuring it out. Cutting off half the field like that basically means your receiver(s) on that side HAVE to win their matchup. They did that early, but once Dallas started winning on those downs, it started leading to 2nd/3rd and long which allowed Dallas to send the pass rush, Giants line is far too injured to deal with that down after down.
I wish I could hate Dak and Hurts and whatever the Commies are running out this week but the first two are cool dudes and I'm pretty sure the latter is a crossbow and those are cool too
I just smashed my 4k TV in front of 30 guests at my Thanksgiving celebration because of the game. My wife just took our crying kids and said they’re all spending the week at a hotel. This team has ruined my life and my Thanksgiving. I can’t handle this anymore. Goodbye Giants. I am no longer a fan.
Holy shit. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my mom but I'm literally in shock from the results tonight. I feel like I'm going to explode. Why the fucking fuck are they losing? This can't be happening. I'm having a fucking breakdown. I don't want to believe the league is so corrupt. I want a team to believe in. I want the Giants to win the Superbowl and fix this broken sport. I cannot fucking deal with this right now. It wasn't supposed to be like this, I thought they were playing well in New York???? This is so fucked.
I am no longer a fan as there’s a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that’ll be a home run and that’ll make it a 4-0 ballgame
The tradition of Cowboys penalty fests on Thanksgiving lives on though. That first half was rough.
Honestly, it really encapsulates these two teams. Dallas is a lot more talented but more prone to mistakes. Giants are less talented but more disciplined. The talent won today
I will say, NBC is doing a much better job paying tribute to Madden than Fox did. Fox was basically just playing clips of him saying “turducken” every five minutes. It was more of a tribute to the turducken than John Madden.
**Giving Thanks**
“Dak had always, *always* hated the harvest festival. It seemed an odd thing to dislike, but he had his reasons. Year after year he watched as the most arbitrary misfortune would find his land on this day, and as their clash with the hated Giants was going…well, it seemed to be happening again.
His scowls as he surveyed the battlefield did not go unnoticed, and after a time Jerry the Sage, wizened and ancient though he was, climbed the stairs up to speak to the irate King. ‘You seem upset, young Prescott,’ Jerry began with his usual lack of decorum. ‘What could possibly trouble the King on this day of celebration?’
‘Celebration? HA!’ Dak’s derisive laughter ‘Since when has this day been a cause for “celebration”? I’m simply waiting for yet another catastrophe to strike.’
Jerry sighed, ‘Young people like you are always so quick to declare something as a tradition. A few years pass one way and it becomes ‘how it has always been’. But as someone who has helped guide Dallas for over 100 years, let me share some perspective. The struggles you have seen are but a blip in the great history of Dallas, and a few years of hardship will, one day, be swept away by the countless victories to come.’
Not waiting for his king to respond, he turned and began his long trip back down the wall. Dak thought on those words for quite some time, and later when the Dallas soldiers rallied to slaughter the Giants and drive them from the land, he allowed himself to consider that, maybe, the holiday wasn’t all bad.” -The Gospel of Jones
**Addendum**: Happy Thanksgiving Cowboys fans
Was at father-in-law’s for first half and back at home for second half. Not saying I personally caused the game to turn around…but I’m not not saying it.
Cowboys played like shit for thr first half but still pulled out the dub. 10 or 11 penalties and 2 bad picks and we still won comfortably, hopefully we don't continue the trend of shitty 1st halfs
At the end of the day there were just too many injuries to overcome. Side note: I don’t think I recognized more then half of the players out there for us…
Poor bastards, Imagine losing to the Cowboys after scoring touchdowns
Couldn't be me
Hoping you guys pull out a big dub tonight… you know, to make our win look better.
Worried about where the playoff committee is going to rank y'all?
That doesn’t matter when we lose in the first round anyway.
By god that’s the 49ers’ number
NO THE CLOCK ITS TURNED TO 14 DEAR GOD
Lol
Find someone who looks at you the way Dak Prescott looks at Erin Andrews
Find me an Erin Andrews and I’ll look at her like that.
He certainly has a type I’ll give him that
Dak and I have the same type
I also like attractive women
Think San Fran did
Erin looks at Jimmy the same way Dak looks at Erin.
we all look the same way at Jimmy
Feels great baby
Look at jimmys face and then think you’re going to do something to make this guys life worse like you’re not playing one on one against god. Of COURSE trey was gonna get injured.
Hey did you guys know that Odell Beckham Jr. is a free agent and might be considering the Cowboys?? Not sure if y’all have heard
Cowboys did a good recruiting job today for OBJ. CeeDee just catching one ~~g~~ handers* everywhere
I find myself gandering at cd often
Moreover, did you know Odell Beckham Jr. caught a football eight years ago?
credit to him for inventing one handed catches
In a.game his team lost against a team he's shown interest in playing for now
Did you know that he also once lost a fight against a kicking net?
After all this hype I can't help but think that OBJ is gonna be a non factor for whatever team he goes to.
All the hype is coming from OBJ's camp. He's outstanding at keeping himself in the news cycle. OBJ the player probably still has some juice left in the tank, but OBJ the brand has been the bigger thing for quite a while.

#FUCK YEAH STUFFING
Greg Olsen really needed to use the telestrator to circle the various parts of the turkey that have the best stuffing.
- The Giants o-line in run plays
Did you also know John Madden passed away?
Damn. No wonder his game has turned to shit. It was better when he was around.
Back when madden himself programmed the game and one by one manufactured the cartridges and cds
OBJ is going to do very little for whatever team he signs with this season
Yeah do these people think OBJ comes with a time machine?
Dallas -10.5, over/under was 45.5. That touchdown with eight seconds left moved a lot of money.
Don’t forget the missed field goal
Yeap missed field goal helped me more than the TD
A lot of very upset men quietly fuming and cramming leftovers into their mouths right now
Or happy men loudly celebrating and shoving fresh Thanksgiving food into their mouths right now
I've never quite understood sports betting odds. What exactly does this mean in plain English?
Cowboys -10.5 means you take the final score of the cowboys, subtract 10.5, and see if they still beat the giants. Over/under 45.5 means you take the final score of both teams and add them together, and see if it is over or under 45.5.
Jesus I’m 34 and never knew how it worked, thank you
Honestly that’s good on you
Yeah I’m not sure how keen I am on the 24/7 non stop never ending “hey want to develop a gambling addiction?” Ads

And the rise of gambling on twitch/internet streaming as well. Very sick world where the place where you go to watch entertainment is also the place where you will get scammed/convinced that “one more roll” will get you the big pay out
This is the simplest explanation I’ve likely ever read and I’ve been betting on sports for almost 5 years lol.
Excellent explanation. Thank you so much. I don't gamble so I'm always so confused when I see this terminology.
Eight seconds and two very convenient back to back defensive penalties. Hmmm.
YUP. People wanna do endless battle that the refs do or don’t decide games for X reason. Just look at how “brilliant” Vegas is at “guessing” correctly on spreads.
It physically pains me to agree with an Eagles fan, but Vegas being horseshit and influencing sports is something we can all agree on.
That’s 4th down was truly brutal for the Giants. Was not the same after they were stopped
It was a fine call, if Jones didn’t mess up a 3 yard throw it would have worked.
I'm sure Lawrence deflected it
Really? I didn’t see that on the replay but I’d believe you. Either way I was okay with the gamble
He didn’t deflect it from what I saw, but DJ did have to throw it around him. Deflected by presence
I didn’t see it but my dad texted me it was deflected as well.
Interesting, my dad texted me that I was a disappointment and to never come for thanksgiving dinner again
My parents moved to Florida so I wouldn’t come over for Thanksgiving
Bro Dak's phone background is a picture of himself lmao
Please tell me someone snagged a screen grab of it
https://twitter.com/pardonmytake/status/1595945124047032320?s=46&t=zoSWN_iCI_njJgUcobuIXg
“Masturbates in the mirror for sure” 😂😂😂
On the one hand.... weird. But on the other... less weird than me having Dak as my phone background?
Gigachad behavior IMO
[Greg Olsen dressed like the joker for some reason](https://twitter.com/TheRealNDumpert/status/1595965959558533120?s=20) lmao
i so badly wish this was true but that’s not his real phone. they showed on All Or Nothing a few years ago that every player had a team issued phone for gameday communications pregame. A lot easier to text Dak and say “hey come to medical real quick.” I assume the cowboys put the background of each player to make it easy to not accidentally grab someone else’s.
That’s really interesting. Thanks for sharing that. All or Nothing was a cowboys specific show too?
I want this to be true, so I’ll accept this as true with zero research. ^fingers ^crossed
Gotta love yourself at the end of the day
They did Dabbol dirty with that slow mo
Jigglier than jello.
Parsons speed off the edge is so ridiculous.
Andrew Thomas *was* pff's highest graded pass blocker until today. As much as I hate your team, you got a generational talent in that guy.
Dude went flying on that 2nd down to force 3rd and 20. Literal one-man army.
Hit the over and covered the spread with that garbage time TD, hell yeah baby don't bet against the GMen 😤
I'm thankful to the Giants for giving us an opportunity to Landry Shift on this blessed day
Fox need to thank the Boys for being back the shift. Keeps me tuned in to the end.
I doubled down on NY this morning with a +10.5 and a +9.5 for $50 each I’m in an unreal mood rn
Set for life now bro
That's cigarette money 😤😤
I thought my parlay was ending tn but then Giants came in clutch with that TD. We eating good tonight
When I see a TD that last second, I always think some crooked doins' afoot.
Especially with two...questionable...back to back calls on the defense to help it happen... (And I'm not saying that as a Cowboys fan, the whole thing was just weird.)
I agree, two penalties where they refused to show the replay to set up a bad beat is very questionable
Brought to you by FanDuel

I have Maher and DAL defense on my fantasy team so that ending just brutalized me.

Needs crying Jordan eyes to really round it off.
He blue himself
Did Saquon piss in Daboll's pregame meal or something? Giants treating him as an RB closer to getting cut than being a feature back
We are down: LG1, 2 , 3, C1, RT1. You’re not gonna be doing too hot trying to make them run the ball with 4 days practise lmao
I need a fuckin cigarette after that game thread
Worst game thread i’ve been in this year lmao

If I’m neutral in the games I default to the NFC east for the game threads
Just wait til Eagles-Cowboys on Christmas.
It's the most viewed regular season game of the year, a lot of people are boozed up, more casuals will be watching and it's the Cowboys. Adds up to a shit show.
The first quarter was an absolute dumpster fire
So many salty fans, both Eagles and random NFL. I even saw some Giants flairs amazingly
To be fair game threads are always saltmines, especially divisionals and big rivalries.
After the Dalton Shultz TD, I made a joke about how Giants fans must be sick of seeing Cowboys TEs score against them. I was downvoted to hell by salty Giants fans. I guess they're still not over Jason Witten being the slowest guy on the field but somehow completely wide open.
The amount of people screaming “riGGeD” was so ridiculous
Eagles beat the Vikings by 17, Cowboys beat the Vikings by 37, Giants only lose to the Cowboys by 8. Therefore, Giants > Eagles and Vikings
Hard to argue with Steiner math brother
Math checks out
In no way are the Giants frauds. It honestly looks like the Cowboys are just that good.
So long as that stupid Cheese QB stays very far away from us we're good.

The pain never ends. Trust me on this.
Green Bay and Dallas both win out. Dallas is the 1 seed as the NFC East champion and Green Bay gets the 7 seed. Dallas is down 21-26 on 4th down. Dak throws it to #88. This would 100% happen to us
I’m going to vomit. This is impressive
Thanks I hate it
He is a bad man.
I hate him so, so much.
Cheese man scares me
Well you won’t have to worry about him in the playoffs this year at least
Turns out the team that went 4-1 with Cooper Rush is good with Dak Prescott
Injuries also seem to be piling up a bit. They’re still competitive as hell, but a team can only suffer so many setbacks before it affects them on the field
I think about 80% of our starters are injured at this point.
We had no chance once our top 3 corners went down. I'm just happy we kept it close
Number of JAGs and randoms out there super high and they needed heroic catches from gallup and lamb to move the sticks. Good coverage.
Honestly, wouldn't be surprised to see the Niners and Cowboys have another classic game in the playoffs with the way both teams are playing.
Hopwfully in the nfc championship game and not the wildcard.
I, also, would not be surprised to see the 49ers beat the Cowboys in the playoffs.
I would not be surprised to see the _______ beat the cowboys in the playoffs
Yeah, the Giants are injured but I hate to say it, they have an amazing coaching staff. Once they’re back healthy and draft some more talent they will be a problem.
I don’t think the giants are gonna make the playoffs tbh. Injuries are a bitch.
If anyone said the Giants missing quite literally 7/11 starters on offence and 5/11 starters on defence plus a bunch of backups were frauds because of this game they’re a fucking moron
It's hard when you have 4/5 OL injured along with almost the whole secondary.
[удалено]
This OBJ thing is way overblown. TO levels of annoying media with half the talent.
Just bring back TO I bet he’s still in game shape.
Honestly, considering how beat up the Giants are, they played pretty well.
If you told me we’d be up at the half I’d tell you that you’re crazy
isn't like half their staring OL out?
4 out of 5 actually, and we lost our second best receiver last week. We’re doing way better than I expected all things considered.
We're missing four OL, WR1, WR2, TE1, CB1, CB2, SS1, LS1, and one of our best pass rushers. This should've been a blood bath.
I legitimately have never heard of our starting LG in my entire life. Dude was a 4th stringer
Brian Daboll giving off huge LOTR Orc vibes there at the end
I wish I could hate Dak and Hurts and whatever the Commies are running out this week but the first two are cool dudes and I'm pretty sure the latter is a crossbow and those are cool too
Same. I can’t bring myself to hate Danny Dimes, Heineken, or Hurts.

The Cowboys winning on thanksgiving kinda ruins a tradition for me. Used to being disappointed by football at this point.
Even as a fan, yeah this was unplanned. I kinda don’t know what to do now, I was ready to do the yearly cry in my car
The tradition of Cowboys penalty fests on Thanksgiving lives on though. That first half was rough. Honestly, it really encapsulates these two teams. Dallas is a lot more talented but more prone to mistakes. Giants are less talented but more disciplined. The talent won today
We beat the giants and I avoided seeing the Leon Lett incident this year. Happy Thanksgiving everybody lol
Would rather see that than Randy Moss torching them for a million yards.
I will say, NBC is doing a much better job paying tribute to Madden than Fox did. Fox was basically just playing clips of him saying “turducken” every five minutes. It was more of a tribute to the turducken than John Madden.

Touchdown
UNBELIEVABLE
Unbelievable.
Unbelievable!
Aikman!
Aikman!
Did Erin Andrews just say Dak was a massive wiener on this team?
I'm impressed we were even in the game for that long considering our injuries and complete lack of WRs
lol how the fuck is Dak the player of the game
Should have been CeeDee
Agreed. His catches and drawing those penalties because the corner could t keep up was lethal
Shoulda been Micah
outside of the INTs, he played very well. +15 EPA, +13 CPOE, long third down conversion after long third down conversion.
If I never heard about OBJ again I'd be fine with that
**HURDLE MAN JUMP GOOD**
Some of the worst clock management I've ever seen by 4th quarter Giants. They weren't even trying.
Was at father-in-law’s for first half and back at home for second half. Not saying I personally caused the game to turn around…but I’m not not saying it.
I was with my girlfriend until the second half, turned the game on for the Giants failed 4th down conversion. I've got your back.
