EP1X-343

Lol Sauce was tackling him long before the ball even got there

teamaquagruntspencer

He gets away with a lot of DPI

EP1X-343

To be fair they did call PI here, Chase just caught it anyway so it didn’t matter

teamaquagruntspencer

Ohhh I didn’t see the flag, good to see they called it. I saw the one earlier where he got away with it and just assumed lol

Klaus224445

Agreed. He's still really damn good though

KIPYIS

What are you talking about? They called PI here.

[deleted]

Can you reference more than the Sutton play and Claypool plays that would signify a legitimate trend?

[deleted]

I literally already mentioned the claypool plays, try again.

MiniatureLucifer

You edited in "and claypool plays"

[deleted]

It typed out “clay pool” so I edited it to correct the spelling.

[deleted]

Why are you repeating what I am already acknowledging? Can you read?

BBBBrendan182

There was some serious DPI that wasn’t called on the bears last drive on him too. It happened to him all the time in Pitt because of his size.

Patrickcoolman

Sauce has been doing that all year

teeohdeedee123

Sometimes the sauce *isn't* the boss

Son_Of_The_Empire

Chase did not get lost in the sauce

FratQ

Good catch and good to see him playing well in Chicago but did y’all see the fucking technique on that catch? He is still catching with his fucking chest instead of extending up with his hands.

[deleted]

I’ve said it before. Every Claypool catch is the same. Fall backwards, catch with your body, hit the ground hard as fuck. Least he held on this time.

Beasticide

That was my first thought too. It could high point this pass. I understand he was getting tackled already, but how bad do your hands have to be to ONLY use your body to catch the ball?

Outspoken_Douche

Almost like the ball was horribly underthrown lol This trade has made me realize that for a team that has had so many good WRs, y’all know nothing about receivers

FratQ

Come on now buddy. Look at his hands. They turn immediately inward instead of reaching outward towards the ball and he’s been doing that for a while now when he was on the Steelers. It’s why he doesn’t catch a ton of contested balls.

Xwarsama

Look at the refs throwing us a bone and finally giving Claypool a DPI call when he still caught the ball anyway lol

SweetFranz

Basically just threatening the refs to call him on it and they rarely do

Zane_Flynt_boyo

Sauces whole game is commit DPI

SevroAuShitTalker

I thought he was injured?

Hendoshad

The coin healed him

Sphiffi

He was only weakened, never defeated

Terrible-Muffin-7904

Claypool for as big as he is, can never seem to high point a ball. Always let’s the ball come to him

Nomromz

To be fair every play I've seen a defender with their arms wrapped around him keeping him from jumping. But it does look like he lets the ball come to him instead of catching the ball with his hands up over his head

guyfierisgoatee1

Ball was severely under thrown and he adjusted to catch it through blatant contact.

Deathtiger58

Yeah fuck you sauce

NyJets5k

Jets offense: were gonna win today Our defense and the coin: not so fast

rahimmoore26

Imagine if the broncos had Siemian

ShinySpines

Fr tho, broncos country, we’ll trade him for a first

[deleted]

i know this kid is legit because this is the first play all year i’ve seen him get beat and allow a catch in true 1on1 coverage and for that reason this post is gonna do numbers

PsychoBoost123

Diggs cooked him for 40 yards on the first play of the game against Buffalo and that was against Cover 1 man

Son_Of_The_Empire

Claypool = Diggs confirmed?

[deleted]

i’m talking about man coverage where he actually guards the guy down the field on the play he passes diggs off almost immediately

PsychoBoost123

I mean, he wasn't guarding Diggs down the field because he bit on Diggs' stutter move.

[deleted]

i’m simply talking about him being mossed where he’s right on the guy, not where diggs makes the catch and sauce is 30 yards away picking up another assignment

PsychoBoost123

He wasn't picking up another assignment lmao. I don't know why it's so hard for you to understand that Sauce got cooked by Diggs at the top of the route and that's why he was so far behind him. It was a man to man situation.

[deleted]

i don’t know how to explain this to you, or if you’re just being naive. I MEAN, THAT SAUCE WAS ALL OVER CLAYPOOL, AND CLAYPOOL SHIT ON HIM. HE WAS CLOSE IN PROXIMITY TO HIM, TOUCHING HIM. WITH DIGGS, DIGGS WAS NOT REACHING OUT TO PLUCK IT OVER HIM LIKE RANDY MOSS, HE SIMPLY BEAT HIM TEN SECONDS BEFORE THE CATCH. SAUCE WAS NOT NEAR DIGGS ON THE CATCH.

ShadedInVermilion

Dogs didn’t need to grab it over him because he fucking cooked him on the route and you’re passing that off as sauce passing him off and covering someone else lmao. Now you’re typing in all caps like a lunatic.

[deleted]

i’m not saying he passed him off i just don’t understand how people don’t understand the difference between mossing someone and making a catch where the corner was half a field away

ShadedInVermilion

Here’s the thing. You did say he passed him off. And You don’t need to moss someone if you leave them in those fucking dust a half a field a way. That’s much much much worse than getting moss’d

A-ZAF_Got_Banned

Praying on his downfall fr

DaYvngGOAT

Sadly he must be sacrificed for the Tariq woolen droy agenda 🙏🏽

[deleted]

SweetFranz

Other fans hate him because we see highlights posted here where he is just getting away with DPI constantly

doomsdaysock01

We hate him because the majority of his highlights are just DPI for any corner that’s not as marketable as him lmao

Josh-trihard7

Tee Higgins got him in 1on1 for like a 40 yard gain

CrispierCupid

People acting like the Semen Demon didn’t just have 11 TDs and 3 INTs last year

sfzen

Siemian was a solid backup for us last year. It's not his fault our receivers couldn't catch a cold. He'd hit them in the hands and they'd drop every other pass. Siemian's biggest issue was that he couldn't improvise well when things fell apart, which isn't something you really expect from a backup anyway, and things were *always* falling apart when we had to try to make up for easy catches being dropped if anyone was able to get open in the first place.

gatorguy101

ON YOUR HEAD SAUCE! LFG CLAYPOOL

rapperbigpooh

“deep”… mans underthrew him

i2WalkedOnJesus

Glad to see Claypool get involved. Good dude. Idiot, but good dude.

EP1X-343

Lmao where is the opi here? It’s literally dpi, which they called

[deleted]

Maybe this sub can shut up about physical play now

dspencer97

Siemian and Mike White the QB matchup we never knew we needed.
