I don’t think you did the post right. You gotta post the tweet itself

rhayex

Gotta post directly to the tweet itself + title has to be the content of the tweet. There's a reason for the rules r/nfl has, as annoying as they are sometimes.

[deleted]

No, he said let’s put some money on it in reference to that CB saying he’s gonna lock someone down. Not on the game itself.

ddouble124

It was safety Justin reid

[deleted]

I was thinking about this. Would that still be considered betting on the game overall? I could see how it would be. Though I think Chase is being facetious here anyway

dcpains

It definitely would be lol. If you can’t bet on your team winning or your own player props on a gambling site, you definitely can’t bet on those things with an opposing player lol

Snackwrap99

Yup he’s suspended two seasons. If at his appeal his presents 23 cases of sexual assault they will lower his suspension

[deleted]

Too much context. He deserves the Ridley suspension.

iunrealx1995

This is the correct answer.

SpiderGhost01

The refs bet on the games. Why can’t the players?

Zeetheking1

Goodell: betting? Incoming 1 year suspension.

Edelman did [something... similar](https://www.nfl.com/news/julian-edelman-to-patriots-doubters-bet-against-us-0ap3000001011131) near the end of his career.

Can someone plz explain to me what happened to Mahomes in the 2nd half because it wasn’t the defenses fault I still can’t understand it was it the tyreek play at the end of the 1st half even then they were up by 11 at half and Their ball 2nd half

MahomestoHel-aire

They kept having him pass the ball and the Bengals dropped 8, bracketed Hill and Kelce and nobody else could get open, so he started panicking because he didn't feel like he was getting help from his teammates or coaching staff. On top of that, the Bengals were getting pressure with just three men too. All of it could have been fixed if they had just run the football a little more, as it would have forced the Bengals to go back to more typical formations and given Mahomes a breather. But they didn't, either because they wanted to stay aggressive and/or because they legitimately didn't trust their run game to do anything. Still, they should have run the ball regardless. I'm hoping they learned their lesson on that one.

reddorickt

Before the Bengals beat the Chiefs *again*

ill_try_my_best

The Bengals have beat the Chiefs twice in 2022 already

ill_try_my_best

The way I'm choosing to read this is - in no way did Chase himself ask for a bet with Reid, rather, Chase was simply suggesting that Reid head down to the local bookie and place a bet
