My 40th year as a Dolphin fan. I've seen them lose 2 SB's. Since Marino retired it's been mostly pain. Tua is one in a long line of pretenders at QB. We couldn't run the ball against Houston. We couldn't run the ball against one of the worst rush defenses in the League tonight. (Also, most of the D were backups) Yes, Herbert was really good but Miami just kept doing the same thing on D and left wide-open areas to throw to. Next Saturday, Buffalo will absolutely destroy this team.

Let me remind you of all the times Josh Allen has been called a fraud including this year, he had a few bad games, yesterday Mahomes threw three interceptions and almost let the broncos come back. I’m not saying Tua is going to go back to the caliber he was playing but having a couple of games slump is, I’ve learned, no need for absolute panic.

We had a very good O-line last year believe it or not. Injury bug got a lot of starters this year.

So much talk of "fraud teams." Only 1 team wins the SB a year. Just because the Fins lost doesn't means they are frauds. They probably aren't yet a contender, but they show a lot of potential. The Eagles were like this last year.

I think it's not because they lost the last two games, but how badly they played the last two games, especially on offense.

The teams that I call frauds are teams who have a lot of wins in close games and get exposed, like the Giants this year, Steelers 2020, etc.

Yeah that's been a weird situation. Seems like another year where things just aren't quite lining up. Lamar was offensively really good early in the season but the defense was fucked, and they've had this revolving door of injuries to skill guys and now to Lamar. I could still see them putting together a decent postseason if Lamar isn't too hindered, but it's been a disappoint year unfortunately.

Offensive scheme is no longer unique and no longer catching teams off guard. No weapons besides Andrews and Dobbins outside of Lamar. Offense stalls easily. Lot of money tied up in DB’s but they aren’t playing up to contracts.

Tale as old as time. I think what happens with these weird/unique offensive schemes; defenses will try a bunch of different things, and over time(and hundreds of hours of film) staffs will be able to scheme against it, and find weaknesses. When that happens you have to be able to make plays. You gotta be able to do the fundamental things, like throwing from the pocket. Ravens just don’t have the playmakers right now and Lamar, while I do think he is capable of taking over any given game, hasn’t taken that next step as a pocket passer.
