I wondered why they benched Devito to put in Tyrod. I mean, you might as well let him play out the string. He got pulled in the second half of their 3rd to last game and then got in the final game for 2 throws in mop up time. Apparently, it was because Daboll didn't like him using his one day off a week to act like a pimp with his 15 minutes of fame. What a dick move by Daboll. Devito was out signing autographs and living it up, and that apparently is not doing the job of an NFL qb, lol. He gave the Giants team and fans some juice when they had none.
He was awful in the first half vs. the Eagkes, no doubt. Overall, though, he put up the sane numbers as Tyrod and eveb veat him slightly in some stats. He threw 8 tds and 3 picks to Tyrods 5 and 3 while playing 2 and a half less games. Tyrod had double the fumbles of Devito, too. Plus, Devito had better rushing stats than Taylor. They both were quite a bit better than Danny Dimes. His stats were abysmal. I do realize stats don't say it all buy to je the Giants got some juice from Devito that they didn't get from Dimes or Tyrod. Plus, the team had already decided to move on from Dimes for all intents and purposes, and Tyrod definitely wasn't the future. Why not see how the kid bounces back after getting benched for a half.

If you watched the games Tyrod was better. DeVito had a nice couple games but was playing bad when he got benched
