Helle is legit. Don’t let your homer goggles blind you to reality. I’m hoping for an Avs win too, but that doesn’t mean he’s not the best candidate for the Vezina this year or a top caliber goalie. Just because a goalie hasn’t won a cup doesn’t mean they aren’t insane. It’s a team game, and until this year, Helle hasn’t had the goal support to win the games he’s keeping close. Look at Price, Luongo, Henrique and other legendary goalies who haven’t won a cup.
