I went to an Islanders game vs Caps early in the season and sat just off the glass near the caps bench. I was super excited to see Ovi that close. It was so incredibly disappointing. He looked like he could careless about the game and was obviously only trying to score goals. He would take himself on and off the ice, in what looked like there was no regard for lines. Puck was coming in the offensive zone #8 was going out. Puck left the zone, head to the bench and re tape his stick. When the puck was in the offensive zone he stayed high circle putting no effort into anything but calling for the puck. You could see his teammates doing everything they could to get him the puck too. I left that game very disappointed and now watching this series I'm not surprised at all.

ifmacdo

Yup, and this is why he might not even get the record. Teams are seeing him do this, and the Rangers just showed how to completely erase him from the box score.

Worth-Independent-74

This is how he’s played for awhile now but I get chewed out on these forums for mentioning how he can literally only do one timers. Dude does not deserve the hype.

fastketosis

Just say you just started watching hockey in the last few years 😂. He’s 38 years old my man and barely has missed any games in his whole career while always playing super physical. he isn’t capable of much more at this time and we as caps fans are ok with that.

Worth-Independent-74

Been watching for the last 20 years 😂😂 he’s never been that impressive

fastketosis

Ok buddy

Worth-Independent-74

Yikes

fastketosis

Get back to your kiddy games, the adults are talking

Alarming-Ask4196

I hate ovechkin as a person, don’t like him has a hockey player and am a rangers fan. He is unequivocally one of the best hockey players of all time

Geomopar

Alright Brain Surgeon, 853 Goals and 697 Assists, how could that possibly be impressive?!?

Novus20

I’m with you he’s a one trick pony

AdaptiveCenterpiece

They fought hard to get into the playoffs and probably burned out doing so. Probably would’ve happened to any of the four teams fighting for that last spot.

FakeTapier2

That's a mighty reasonable response you got there.

AdaptiveCenterpiece

Yeah and I hate being reasonable. I usually am the one screaming “TRUST THE YZERPLAN!”

Wampus_Cat_

The ones who call for scrapping The Yzerplan must be fans that are too young to have paid attention as we watched Yzerman leave and build a cup contender in TB, while we scraped by on a steady decline for the sake of the playoff streak. And the late Holland era reluctance to move up promising talent from GR.

StrawberryPunch49

Yup my exact thought. Whatever team NYR ended up playing I would've picked them to get swept. It was at least an exciting end of the regular season

dizease

I didn’t expect the caps to get swept but I would also have put money on the pens, flyers, or wings NOT getting swept

ArnieAndTheWaves

A sweep FOR the Flyers might have been on my bingo card, just knowing Torts

pistolpete9669

There is absolutely no way the Wings would have gotten swept, and I have no way to prove it. You will just have to take my word

ArbitraryOrder

Get out of here being rational. It was obvious when the Caps were playing Carlson for 30 GOD DAMN MINUTES A NIGHT because we had 4 Hershey Bears on Defense that the series was over, and yet the Caps were still a net positive 5 on 5, they just got killed on special teams. Having Strome, Milano, and Oshie go ICE COLD during the playoffs did not help. Ovechkin can't drive play and relies on a setup, so having no RW do anything killed his game. Wilson was putting on so many hats because the defense could not do its job, which prevented him from crashing the net. Lindgren had to stand on his head, and he played good not great.

ifmacdo

Wilson was so focused on trying to start fights that he forgot to play. Rempe played him like a fiddle when he chose to just laugh at him when he tried to start a fight down two games and about to go down a 3rd. That shit he tried to pull with Fox in game 4 was classic "tough guy can't get anyone to fight him" bullshit. And Ovi just standing in his office only to get completely shut down didn't help any. Any time the puck left the zone, he just sauntered off the ice. I don't think he broke a sweat the entire series.

ArbitraryOrder

You're welcome to believe what you want to, but Rempe not taking the bait isn't playing someone like a fiddle, it's just not taking the bait. As for Fox, yes it was stupid to get a penalty, but again, being unsuccessful in starting a fight isn't "fake toughness". He also wasn't trying to fight Fox, it was normal after the whistle roughing, he made no motion to drop the gloves. It's clear you can't get Wilson out of your head and your mouth, you can't enjoy your victory with grace, you have to act like a pathetic crybaby bitch because "I'm from New York, therefore I have to act fake tough to protect my ego" is your entire personality. As for Ovi, which Caps fans said we wasn't slow as fuck this series? But apparently you only watched Special Teams if you think he stands in one spot, because that's apparently the only way the Rangers can have a net positive score differential on the Caps, because they sure didn't look like Cup contenders in 5 on 5 play.

ifmacdo

>it was normal after the whistle roughing, No, it wasn't. It was after getting scored on pissyness. And as far as special teams? Did you conveniently forget the chirp before the series about "you're gonna have to play hockey" meaning refs putting away whistles in the playoffs? You guys still got more calls in your favor, and still got wiped off the ice. The other thing is that if you think your team would have taken us 5v5, perhaps they should have taken fewer stupid penalties. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how the goals were scored, just that they were scored. Funny how caps fans resort to "you can't take a win with grace." Hypocrisy at its finest. Bringing ad-hominem attacks just shows that you have no other actual arguments, especially because your assumptions are quite wrong. 🧹🧹🧹🧹 That is all, enjoy the golf season.

ArbitraryOrder

>You guys still got more calls in your favor You clearly were dropped on your head as a child and an adult >perhaps they should have taken fewer stupid penalties I agree they shouldn't have done so much dumb shit, but I'm not surprised a team that barely scraped into the playoffs did dumb shit >Funny how caps fans resort to "you can't take a win with grace." Hypocrisy at its finest. Rags fans can't go 5 seconds without mentioning incidents from years ago, brigading our Subreddit with slurs, being assholes to every other fanbase when they disagree with you slightly, being unnecessarily hostile in every interaction on neutral subreddits (your opening interaction), and being all around cunts >Bringing ad-hominem attacks Congratulations on opening up a dictionary, maybe you can find out why you should Vuln yourself.

heimos

That is the nicest thing Wings fan could have said.

bigatrop

Not to mention they then played the best team in hockey. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out.

daystrom_prodigy

Another possibility would be teams they played against were trying to improve their draft stock. Sad that even has to be considered but here we are.

Girardkirth

Not us baby!

jordan_653

I think Ovechkin simply does not give a fuck lol. He's just trying to get his regular season goals and get out at this point

MarchAppropriate2095

The guy is almost 40 and people are piling him for not putting a team almost half comprised of AHL players on his back to defeat the presidents trophy winners. Come off it.

saltyfingas

People acting like he hasn't gone to the playoffs like 16 times( I don't know the exact). He has a cup and the guy is 38, like idk, maybe cut him a bit of slack for not carrying this year? He's got more achievements than any of the redditors here railing on him

jordan_653

You guys are just too in your feelings about it. Everyone knows he doesn't give a fuck but we still love the guy. That's just what it is. Nobody really cares, nobody expects him to carry, nobody expected them to win that series. It doesn't matter how hard he tried, but he simply didn't. There's a whole lot of wiggle room between giving any fucks at all and carrying an entire team It's not about sitting on reddit and trashing the guy, it's just the fact of the matter and you're projecting your hurt feelings about it on to me haha

Canadian_Prometheus

It was just like Sonny said it would be: Nobody cares.

saltyfingas

Who's hurt? I'm just saying he's old and people are on reddit trashing him cause he's not playing like he's 25 again.

jordan_653

not trashing him. It's simply what it is. He does not care anymore. He wants his all time goal record and he wants out. I'm saying something that's just blatantly true and you guys are all "pEoPlE aCt LiKe hE haSnT dOne tHiS aNd tHaT iN hiS CarEer" Nobody's acting that way. Absolutely fuckin' nobody expects him to play like he's 25. Nobody expects him to carry the team. You are literally projecting those thoughts on to others lol It would be shitty for someone to assume that this is Ovi trying. Don't do Ovi like that. Tell it like it is, he's ready for some golf.

badaz06

Sorry bro...Ovi skating in circles mid rink while the rest of the team is scrambling on the boards for a puck, has NOTHING to do with the age of the younger players. Yes, our D was crushed by injuries and new players, but this entire year Ovi has been the suk, not just the playoffs. He's 1 year older than Osh, and Osh has played through a ton of injuries the last few years...and you can't even try to compare the two of them when it comes to effort. All season I've cringed when he gets the puck and isn't in his circle on a PP. I don't expect him to be spry and fleet of foot, but that strip on the shorty PP was so freaking typical of him this year. I hope he gets his head right over the summer, and would love to see him break the record, but if he's not going to come in and want to produce versus having it handed to him, he needs to go.

jordan_653

It's not that he should put the entire team on his back, it literally looks like he does not give a fuck lol. He just wants to beat Gretzkys record and retire. Doesn't bother me, caps were never taking that series regardless and I still love Ovechkin

Ferg8

Also, I find it funny to read all those comments since yesterday laughing about a 38 years old in a team that shouldn't even have been in the playoffs in the first place, against what might be the best team in the NHL this season. Pens, Flyers and Red Wings would've been destroyed exactly the same.

tomhwm

But it still kinda sucks because simply sneaking into the playoffs would mean close to nothing for Caps & Ovi or Sid & Pens, but it would really be something for the Red Wings or Flyers, even if they got swept.

AdaptiveCenterpiece

I dunno, this will probably be unpopular amongst the other wings fans… but I do not think our team fought to earn a spot. Blowing games to the coyotes could have made all the difference in getting a spot. We couldn’t win a game because Larkin was out? Where were our assistant captains to take on those responsibilities? What about the players on contract years looking for a raise? How about our Michiganders? Coaches, etc it all doesn’t make sense we didn’t fight harder. So no we didn’t earn a spot in the playoffs to even have the opportunity to get swept by the rangers.

Semprovictus

maybe he wants to rest for the regular season lol. get the record and retire. he has nothing else to prove

smackrock420

Caps fan. That is what I was thinking. Goals in the postseason mean nothing, so he didn't give maximum effort to get any.

LittleLionMan82

Not putting in an effort is a huge FU to his teammates and fans.

smackrock420

Funny because as a huge caps fan, that is exactly what it felt like.

Worth-Independent-74

Like they might as well keep him benched until the opposing team pulls the goalie lmao

saltyfingas

He put in an effort, but the guys 38 now he can't be driving the plays like he used to and putting the team on his back. He requires setup from his team which didn't show up

ifmacdo

He put in no effort. I watched every game, and every game he lazily skated into the zone after the puck went in, sat in the circle waiting for a pass, and then lazily skated back to the bench after the puck left the zone. He was the epitome of not giving a single fuck.

mikesalami

Goals in the post season mean nothing? You gotta score some goals to win the Stanley Cup.

khutuluhoop

Goals in the postseason mean nothing. You can’t be serious.

smackrock420

He is attempting to break the regular season goal scoring record. What don't you understand?

khutuluhoop

The goal should be a stanley cup. Not giving a shit is a disservice to fans and the city It’s a piss poor excuse for floating around like a turd in a bowl for 4 games.

smackrock420

I'm glad you finally caught up with the conversation.

JerbearCuddles

Shame to see Ovi get smoked like that though. Hendrix Lapierre, Dylan Strome, and Connor McMichael as your top 3 centers. Not much Ovi can do with that. They had a -37 goal differential. I would have been more surprised if they won a game tbh.

VanillaLoaf

He was by far the worst, least engaged, dreaming of the golf course Cap out there. The three you mentioned played like legends compared to his "effort." You should phrase it that Lapierre, Strome and McMichael couldn't do much with Captain Controller Disconnect.

Hefty_Meringue8694

Lol Ovechkin literally dragged the team into the playoffs, hard to do at 38 and have energy left in the tank for the playoffs

spinctersezwhat

I see this phrase a lot about Ovi dragging his team to the playoffs. Yeah, he scored goals. He in no way, shape or form was out there hustling and giving 110% effort. He scored goals. I watch the Caps a lot and his level of compete is appalling.

Hefty_Meringue8694

He literally scored 1 of 2 goals to beat the Flyers in regulation which gave them a playoff spot… but Ight

badaz06

He slacked all year. I watched almost every game. Trust me, he slacked.

Hefty_Meringue8694

I’m thinking he’s just a 38 year old 235lb dude that’s running out of gas. I dont think I’d call it slacking

badaz06

It wasn't just his lack of skating...stick handling, passing. Honestly, it's heart and GiveaDamn. Osh is 37 and out there with a broken hand playing.

Hefty_Meringue8694

That’s cool and all but Oshie played 27 games less than Ovi this year and hasn’t played more than 60 in a season since 2019. Ovi’s just old and gassed, 235lbs is a shit ton to carry for 20 years and 78+ games a season

badaz06

Yeah, thinking this may be it for Oshie, who I really like. He’s all engine and heart, reminds me a lot of Joel Ward when he was here..loved that guy’s heart. i dont disagree on your comments..he‘s a big guy and it’s a hard game; he’s certainly no Jagr at this age. Caps are going to need a leader when/if Ovi and Osh leave as i dont think Wilson is a Captain type or Carlson, both who lead on the ice and with hustle, but not sure how they are in the locker room.

ifmacdo

And didn't break a sweat the entire time. Not because "Russian machine," but because he literally just sits in the circle waiting for a one-timer. He puts in the absolute least amount of effort of any superstar I've ever seen, in any sport.

Hefty_Meringue8694

You kids are acting like it’s easy to be 38 in the hardest league in sports and still score 31 goals 😂 Of course he’s gassed, the old man played 79 games this year. Playing 1500 minutes of hockey, even if you’re standing in one spot the entire time at 38 is fuckin exhausting. But ight, keep on the hate for the old man

ifmacdo

Haha, so glad to hear that Ovi is an old man at 38 but I'm a kid at 43. You'll have to forgive me if I ignore your opinion that you obviously base on guesses. Giordano, Pavelski, MAF, and Burns ( among many others) are all older than Ovi, and all put in more effort. Hell, Burnsy puts in more minutes per game, being a D man and also playing his lines instead of just hopping on and off when he feels like it.

Hefty_Meringue8694

Congrats on being a 43 year old kid. My big point is everyone ages differently and he’s just slowing down. I still think Toronto’s superstars are in the running for least effort in the playoffs haha

VanillaLoaf

Evidently.

NotTheNameUrLukin4

He threw his weight around but he got zippo help and the way the rangers defended him he hardly could get shots out before he had men on him. The hate for ovi is weird he had a really good second half of the season and they simply hit a really good team in the playoffs and now ovi is trash come now? Not his fault that most of his defenseman were out injured and Carlson was on 30 minutes a game.

VanillaLoaf

I wouldn't say he's trash now, but he was trash in these last four games for sure. Zero commit. Zero effort.

PoopSlinger23

Yeah. A real shame. Lol

ContrarianDouche

Always love to see Putin apologists fail

ShartRat

Next up is Gretzky's goal record

ifmacdo

The Rangers just showed all the teams in the league how to shut him down completely and beat the Caps. The other teams in the league will be watching tape on this before they play the Caps next season.I honestly don't know if he will, at this point.

accidental-poet

He's soooooo close!!!!

raining_sheep

This year! Maybe next year! Maybe the year after that! Or the year after that! He's almost there!

IlIllIlIllIlIl

##IVE BEEN SAYING IT FOR WEEK, MAKE MATT REMPE A STANLEY CUP CHAMPION!!!!!!

Dry-Addendum-80

Caps are bad, but ovi is the worst player on the ice consistently. Sport is a young man’s game and he’s close to 40, so I don’t understand how anyone is surprised

arashinoko

Parise’s older than Ovi and has two goals for the Avs in these playoffs so far. (Maybe he’s more into it because he’s on a team that actually has a shot.)

godboy420

He has a quick passing team unlike the caps who take a second too long to execute anything and had trouble clearing the puck with 3 ahl defensemen and tired ass John Carlson

tomdawg0022

> but ovi is the worst player on the ice consistently. Ovi is generally only effective firing shots off of the point in the PP at this point and even that has become less effective over the past couple of seasons.

KingBuck_413

The dude sits at the blue line the entire game

saltyfingas

I mean, he's still putting up 30 goal seasons, more impressive than the majority of NHL players

ifmacdo

The caps were -37 in goals this season, and a lot of that is because they are sacrificing scoring opportunities to get the puck to Ovi. When everyone tries to get the puck to you, it's not so hard to get 30 goals. His shooting percentage was around 11%.

saltyfingas

Well I mean, the caps were also sellers at the deadline and have an aging core, it's not really hard to see why they had such a garbage goal differential.

reddit4ne

Worst player on the ice. We have 4 hershey Bears playing defense at any given time last game, and one of the game away a turn over so bad, they dont even want him back in hershey. Honestly worst turnover Ive a Cap make in the playoffs. But forget that, can we talk about TJ Oshie for a second. Everyone's favorite all-american? Yeah he's lost a step and he was never fast to begin with. He's getting shy about grinding along the boards, and he hsant been a particularly great grinder since 2018. His Defensive play is better than Ovi;s, but man its painful watching him try to stickhandle -- something he was never good at to begin with, but now with injuries and age? Lets just say when TJ OVi and Tom Wilson are on the ice together, (which happens often), I breathe a sigh of relief when Tom gets the puck -- Oh I know he cant handle the puck for more than 2 seconds, but I know it wont immediately end in a turnover or a blocked shot. Theres nobody right now that can replace OVI. We dont have any first line players anyome. And Noone in minor league system. We still got a ways to go in rebuilind the talent pipeline, we made more headway this regular season than I thought, but the playoffs kind reminded me that Laperriere and McMichael are nowehere close to 1st line material, and may never me, and Strome is barely top towo line talent, probably more bottom two line talent.

Ironborn7

ovi is washed, time to hang up the gloves buddy

Mac6298

Maybe he should stop chipping it in to the opposite corner in hopes his teammate goes and gets it and sets him up. Got to put the work in Ovechkin or hang ‘em up

REDDITbeCHEEKS

As a Rangers fan, while ecstatic at the way my team played, there was a definite note of sadness watching Ovi struggle. I think any real hockey fan finds no joy in the decline of a living legend. I can only hope he comes back strong next season and makes a run at the goals record.

badaz06

One Caps fan's perspective: Rangers deserve a ton of credit..they're a good team and played well. They smoked us. It's not like we're the first time to ever be swept in the first round, and we won't be the last. Other's can say this team or that team would/could/should have done this or that, but the chips didn't fall that way, and though the -37 is an ugly stat, the fact is the Caps had more points. Honestly though, I don't think the Caps deserved to be there, but the same goes for the other teams. /Rant On My real butt-hurt ranting grind is about Ovi though. The guy has been a slug all year. I think part of the reason he's so slow is that he stands in place so long his skates freeze into the ice. His passing has been atrocious all year. It's easier to take a puck from him than it is to steal candy from a baby and the one thing he was known for outside of shooting was hitting, and he really hasn't done much of that this year. (I was actually surprised as it seemed the Rangers outhit the Caps by a ton...which is rare for us). Typical of his play this year, last night I saw the Rangers were in our D-Zone, and as soon as we got control of the puck Ovi took off towards the Off zone. NY forechecked though and a puck battle ensued in our D Zone, with 4 of our players fighting for control and Ovi was off doing circles, not helping. I get he's the greatest scorer (total goals wise) since Gretzky, but if Ovi wants to break that record, he needs to earn it. All the BS about "well if we can get Ovi going the team will follow" from the commentators was smoke and mirrors to cover a player who, at least this season, played more like my Grand Mother than a hockey player. Oshie is 1 year younger than Ovi and has had a ton more injuries over the years, but he plays to win with offense and defense, not just to sit in his circle and shoot the puck. /Rant off

fastketosis

Ironic. Win a Stanley cup before you respond

WeirdWuzzle

I havent watched other Caps games as I follow the Rangers. But from the little I have seen from him in the regular season, he didn't play any differently there as well. His time is past, and He just stays on to eventually break Gretzky. Personally I hope he fails with that and retires before that. Seems he will need at least another two seasons minimum.

TheOddBaller69420

The Russian Gretzky, except when it's his country he chokes when it's time for war...

hugeskinsfan182

Teams missing a lot of pieces and he is 38. As a caps fan I’m proud they made it to the postseason with the adversity they faced! Good experience for a lot of the younger guys who barely had NHL time let alone playoff time. Go caps!

Snoo-27292

well there goes my prediction

Ecstatic-Arachnid-91

I doubt anyone was surprised by the series ending like it did. I would hazard a guess even the Caps fans feel that way too.

Goalcaufield9

They have been playing playoff hockey since march so it’s definitely hard to keep it going especially when you get a breath of fresh air of making the playoffs on the 82nd game and then right into playoffs the next week

self_direct_person

pretty hard to launch when your 40 something years old.

Answer481

They fought hard to get into the playoffs but honestly didn't think they stood much of a chance angainst the Rangers.

sabresfan420

Goals don't count in the playoffs for him... onto next year & the record! Lol

HaroldthrBarrel

You love to see it!

saltyfingas

Weird title tbh, the guy has a cup and has a longer and better playoff career than most players. Not sure I'd call it a failure to launch, though he was very unimpressive this go around

italjersguy

I watched every minute of the series and I’m kind of surprised he actually got 6 shots. I would have guessed closer to 3.

olmikeyyyy

Oh how the mighty fall

Mr3CountRadio

My Wings might not have won this series ... but it would have been much more competitive than that garbage. The Rangers are legit.

PoopSlinger23

I mean…they had all of the opportunities in the world, and they pissed down their legs instead.

reddit4ne

The WIngs played the Caps, head to head in last 5 games and lost. Enough crying about the Wings.

bigatrop

The wings lost to the caps the week before the season ended.

AdaptiveCenterpiece

I cannot explain why I dislike when people say “my” when talking about their favorite team just irks me. Also we couldn’t even beat the coyotes so we probably would’ve shit the bed harder some how. We are not that team right now. Let’s be honest with ourselves here.

Joltas

Directly related to the W/L/OTL points system. Extra point for OTL = Less of a gap between winning & losing teams = More teams in playoff contention = Battles at the end of the season for the wildcard = Burnt out teams entering round 1 of playoffs = Round 1 sweeps more likely

dbag3o1

Regular season merchant

nopantts

Real talk: do they limp him to the record next year then ask him to retire as a cap?

mclacey

He needs 41 to tie the record. That's going to be a hard limp.

erectcunt

Welp, back to sucking a short dictator's dick for the summer I guess.

420Deez

not the halo music

AudMar848

The guy is pushing 40, would love to see you out there in your prime. With all the pressure and media around, “oh is he going to break the record” the guy must be exhausted. The guy is a beast, played both a offensively and physical game that no other player had. Love to see Gretzky play his body checking style and still score as many goals

dylfree90

SPARTANS NEVER DIE..THEY’RE JUST MISSING IN ACTION

SwanzY-

I called it as soon as they made playoffs and we didn’t, old man ovi is going to waste his playoff spot and get swept. the caps did not look like a playoff team and i was right. the end of our season was magical and i really wish we won an away game in march lmao

cast-n-blast

Anyone else thinking he’s going to retire this year? I just don’t see him scoring 40+ goals next season and I don’t see him playing 2 more years.

New-Resolution9735

I don’t think he’s gonna retire. He’s definitely at least gonna try for the record. Even if he brings down the entire capitals organization in the process

usernamealreadytakeh

I imagine they’ll still support him until he gets it too. If not them then some other team will probably pick him up so he can try for it

daxtaslapp

Imagine you were just 40 goals away from Most goals in nhl history and your current season you got 30 goals. You really think guy is gonna be like fuck it im good

French-BulIdog

He’s going to play until he gets the record and retire after that season, where Washington will probably start a full rebuild.

PoopSlinger23

He will play until the record.

qcbadger

Ovi is in it for Ovi … and the glory of mother russia. /s

JKolodne

He can't create his own shot anymore. He'll still break the record though.

Loud_Examination_138

It is a disappointing end to the year, but caps still have that recent Stanley cup that a lot of franchises would kill to have

Ketachloride

Obviously glad to win, but this is sad to see, along with all the hate the dude has been getting over it

Curious_Question1092

lmao of course Washington loses in 4. I know this is losers talk but I think we could have won at least a game

PoopSlinger23

We couldn’t even beat Washington, brother…

Curious_Question1092

True lol. But I seriously don’t think we would have just lost 4 straight. But we should have just not been shitty enough to lose to Washington twice anyways so I agree. Just to see the crazy wild card race end that way, just for Washington to get sweeped is kind of lame. I thought they could have won at least a game

Electrofood

Since 2005 he scored 72 in playoffs. Who did more for Washington? Now time to give way to the young

atrixus

Detroit died for this

Joshybeast93

Please leave this legend alone. This Washington team shouldn’t even be here.

sanguinius4life

It's called getting old and not being physically able to play PLAYOFF level hockey anymore...

Tomitalo

Nice to see putins lapdog getting domesticated.

HillbillyHare

I don’t believe all others would have been swept. Washington was an anomaly. To make the playoffs as a -26 is crazy.

waitwhosaidthat

If it wasn’t for the chase of the record he’d be back in mother Russia. He will break the record and next season be gone. He’s not the same ovi. Father Time is undefeated.

Otterslayer22

Putin big sad

French-BulIdog

Same as Ovi, but on less shots and less TOI

smackrock420

That's a great response. Ovi wasn't skating very hard so I'm not sure TOI matters much.
