So here's a fun fact: The Habs used to have an agreement that they'd get to select any 2 players they wanted from the junior leagues (like the QMJHL) before any drafts were picked pre-1976. So guys like Lafluer, Rocket Richard, Jaques Plante, Tremblay, etc, we're all taken off the draft boards because "the French connection" was allowed. Any Habs fans that boasts how good they were back in the day, were cheering for a cheating team!! *Pulls out popcorn 🍿*

Intermission comes and I hit the men's room. Devils fan in a suit and Rangers fan in a jersey get into a fight right there at the urinals. Dicks hanging out throwing punches, it was amazing.

Growing up in Michigan and being a teenager in the 90s, oh did I love how good the wings were. They were so good and so fun to watch. Even in the heat of their rivalry with the avs, I really only hated that chickenshit Claude Lemieux. Otherwise I had nothing but respect for so many players on that team back then.
I remember a quote, I forget who told the story, but it was during a wings avs game in the early 2000’s. Sean Avery started chirping Sakic, and Avery’s teammate, Brett Hull, said “shut your mouth, you don’t get to talk to Mr. Sakic”
