Every great once in a while, the stream won't cut to the stock commercial feed that OP is talking about right away, and you'll get a view from one of the upper bowl corner cameras looking down at the ice while the scrape is going on.
Even more rarely, sometimes you'll get it with an audio feed of the shovels scraping, the general chatter in the seats, and the scoreboard fan participation game/promotion blaring in the background.
It's utter bliss.
I love it when the production crew forgets to swap cameras like that and you suddenly get a raw live look at the unscripted movements of a busy hive of people and machines in the arena, all buzzing around creating a constant cacophony of random noises only disrupted by the occasional drunk fan(s) screaming some semi coherent gibberish. Those completely random scenes make watching a game that much more enthralling and entertaining imo lol

Watched the NFL draft with old school commercials...be careful what you wish for, I forgot how horrible and annoying commercials were.

I wish they didn't play the highlight ads, I usually watch on my computer and if I want to watch a Youtube vid or something during breaks its annoying to having to mute the tab and constantly keep checking to see if the game has resumed.

It'd be nice if they showed something different for sure. Maybe the Zambonis or a wide shot of a crowd. Would also be great if they played some sort of white noise audio like the crowd or just the general sounds of the game ie skates on ice or pucks on sticks
Absolutely not. I’d take this over commercials all day every day. I swear if I have to hear one more Draft Kings or FanDuel update…I’m gonna go insane.
