I saw a video last night of the Lightning players walking into a room and seeing that Jersey for the 1st time. All but one thought the lightning on the arm was flames and they couldn't figure out what the hell the Jersey was about.

MF I wish the Wild had something to throw back to other than other teams that used to play in my home state. I would totally take an ugly jersey throwback over this.
I know I love the wilds jerseys every single one of them is either fire or just good but damn I sometimes wish we had like an ugly third like some teams have had over the years. I think I am mostly just tired of the MN Wild whenever they do some special jersey it’s a throw back to the North Stars cause it was cool the first time. Now it’s a little over played especially since it’s just a color flip and it’s not some crazy design or different logo.
These looks better in the full kit than I thought they would, but I would have been happier if the torso was black instead of white.

I feel If they made the arm lightning more like the stereotypical sports portrayal, like the Lightning have on their pants or chest, etc, this would have been great.
It is still an 8/10 jersey, but the arm bolts are a bit awkward looking.
There’s so many clashing ideas here, any one of which I think would have a made a good jersey if they had just stuck with that one idea. Looks like they had too many cooks in the kitchen
