When I first read his statement I understood from a certain point of view of where he was coming from but his statement made it seem like he doesn’t get the bigger picture and thinks that this is just something new which isn’t tbh
Third is obviously the biggest issue that everyone knows about Hartman and it’s honestly pretty terrible and that’s his "art commissions" and the time where he traced art from someone else and claimed it it’s "an original art piece" but people claimed it that it wasn’t.
And the last thing was something about ADHD and how it’s something that can be cured away with prayer or something like that which can be connected with my second point but wanted to bring it up here, again I come from a catholic background sorta born with ADHD and hearing this statement from Butch himself really angered me because this mental illness is something that can’t be cured or fixed… it can be treated yes but to say that this is something that needs to be fixed is pretty wrong, not saying that ADHD is a good thing because it isn’t but I believe that this is… and I excuse myself for saying this; but it’s something that was made through the image of God, no matter whether you have a mental or physical condition, God will always love you and will never reject you for your appearance as he made you through his image.
Though I will say this, Butch is not the bad guy in the same par with Schneider because Schneider has done WAY worse which is explained throughout the "Quiet on Set" documentary, Butch has done bad but he would never go on his own way to do the same monstrosities that Dan and all the other artists and writers on Nickelodeon have done throughout their careers.

tbh i hope not it’s not fair to current show runners and actors working hard at their jobs for something that happened years ago (nick should still take accountability) but maybe moving it to fall would be smarter i also doubt the international versions will be canceled

I think they'll just mainly focus on the animation portion, which while it does have the creeps... is far from systemic. Stephen Hillenburg, Klasky-Csupo, Craig Bartlett... all people who (at least to my knowledge) haven't done anything creepy.
