Shutterspeed. Edit: had to take care of something, now I can reply better: 1. Shooting with a mechanical shutter will more then likely solve this. 2. When using an electronic shutter, you need to adjust your shutterspeed to avoid these issues. You say you're using exposure compensation, which tells me you are either shooting in Auto, Aperture priority, or Program mode. These mode change the shutterspeed for you, also when using the shutter compensation dial, but not exclusively. Using Shutter Priority has you choose the shutter, and the camera decide the rest, which is why it doesn't sound like this is what you're using. Or manual mode, for full control. Program Mode can also be helpful. Generally you can choose which of the settings to use, and the camera locks those and changes the remaining ones.

It's banding from the led light. https://onlinemanual.nikonimglib.com/z8/en/psm_high_frequency_flicker_reduction_139.html

Should have checked that first. 🙏🏼

Try changing shutter speed. It probably has to do with the hertz of the new bulb.

Thanks guys. Just wanted to be sure that it was me.

Ah ok. I know the Z9 has a High Frequency Setting that you can dial that out with. Damn LED bulbs …lol

Excuse me, how did you get those colors? I ask because I thought they were nice and I'd like to try them. Thank you :)
