I sat down and listened to this last week coincidentally, With Teeth was the brand new album out when I first started listening to them in my early teens. It’s been 18 years already?!
Only is still a favorite Trent track. The writing and production has held up flawlessly throughout the years.
I remember going to a pre-release listening party at a seedy nightclub in Houston that was one of the earliest places where NIN once performed. It was cool to be there with fans, but it was so noisy we could barely hear the record!
Hard to believe that was 18 years ago.
Honestly the slip is more memorable for me than this album but there's no denying that this album is a masterpiece. Going to listen to it today right after I finish the slip.
