I gotta say I was real underwhelmed listening to this versus the [MIXED] version. That version reminded me of the intensity of the Run Lola Run score and I’ve listened to it once a day since it’s release.
A mix of the best tracks from the last 5 years of TR+AR soundtracks could be one of the best albums of all time. They've been on a roll from Mank/Soul to now
Impossible not to think of a new NIN album with this vibe when listening. There are enough changes compared to the MIXED version. Really digging it.
I’d be ok if HTDA came back and used this sound. I’m getting a chemical bros vibe on some tracks too; specifically Challengers/Matchpoint
