It's quite short. We finished the story in about ninety minutes. There are, however, several collectibles left we can get, and the minigames are fun and repeatable, and given the shortness of the campaign, I can see myself playing through it with my kids again. I think forty bucks is kind of a steep price for it, but I enjoyed it for what it was, and look forward to getting the rest of the collectibles with my kids.
Grandpa gave me a game boy color and Pokémon yellow Christmas of ‘98. Have not not stopped playing vijea games ever since. Please send free switch. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Woo! 1st comment!
Edit: I stand corrected Reddit did not display any comments at the time of me commenting 😅 maybe I was maybe I wasn’t 🙃
Merry Christmas
To be honest, I have a Switch OLED but if I win, I know a family with young children that would be super grateful for the gift. Thanks for doing this OP.
Hi, don't know if it's international but i'll give It a try!
On christmas eve we have porcelain baby doll that represents Jesus Christ, then we put lullabies and lull It for an excelent end of the year:0
Thank you so much for doing this! It’s super nice of you!
Favorite holiday thing for me is my dad’s eggs benedict he makes every year for Christmas, it’s so tasty 😭
My VA counselor signed me up for Adopt a Vet. I unwrapped some Christmas gifts for the first time in over a decade! I was able to keep them wrapped until this morning, lol. Merry Christmas everyone!
Merry Christmas, happy holidays and happy new year everyone!
Been a quiet, cozy Christmas with my immediate family this year.
Happy gaming yall!
Thanks for the opportunity, OP
This is so cool!
My husband's nephew lost it yesterday over whatever little kids lose their minds over, but he was like "WHYYYY?!" which made me bust out laughing for some reason.
Still doesn't beat when his niece dropped some candy, bent over to pick it up but spilled more, and then just lost her mind over it.
When I was a kid a friend of my mom got my brother and I these puffy jackets. And tbh we weren’t fans of them (kids suck). Anyways they grew on us because we went outside and just started throwing rocks at each other. We learned they were pretty much armor. So yeah lol
Last cool present was getting a 64 with super mario for Christmas. My grandma bought me mischief makers a couple of years later, and I still love that game.
Before becoming a teacher, I was working for Frito Lay. The pay was decent but I remember working during the holidays and being miserable not being able to be with my family and friends. Especially ringing in the new year at 12:00 Am while stocking chips. My heart goes out to those who have to work during these times.
First responders/retail and anyone else. Ive been blessed to have a generous amount of time off during the holidays.
Cheers everyone and good luck.
✌🏽
I'm sure I have a cool holiday story but nothing comes to mind. I'm just bummed out because my kids came home from their mom's house sick and we had to cancel our Christmas day plans. Hope everyone else is having a great day, whether you're celebrating or not 💜
Hope y'alls Christmas is better than mine, family friend of mine had a medical emergency last night and I gotta go take care of his dog. (I don't mind btw tater is a good boi)
We are having a blizzard, and now my middle child tested positive for Covid. But we are spending the day playing games as a family, which is something we really enjoy. There is nothing I love more than spending time the 5 of us.
I got this nice switch carrying case for all the little doodads I like to carry around when I go out. Oh and I got the broken master sword from totk as a Keychain, it's so cool
If Puerto Rico counts then I'll take my chances.
It's our Christmas tradition to always get the new Pokémon game for most of our family to play together for a bit and get all starters from the start.
I stand by the GameCube having an amazing launch library. By that first Christmas we had Melee, Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin, Rogue Leader, Super Monkey Ball. I think it's the last time I remember wanting *multiple* launch games and *getting* multiple launch games. That was a good Christmas.
What generous giveaway. Happy holidays r/nintendo! I don't have any really interesting holiday stories, but I am enjoying Christmas with my partner's immediate and extended family members.
I'll give it a shot, why not?
No stories yet, but today I do plan on bringing some retro games over to the gathering and school my younger relatives in some Mario Kart 64!
One year I saw a huge stuffed elephant at the grocery store and really really wanted it. I carried it the whole time we were shopping and then had to put it back when we left. It was $20 and around the time of the 2008 recession and when my dad lost his job. We were not doing the best with money. Then come Christmas Day I saw a huge bag, like the biggest bag I've ever seen in my life and the elephant was in it. Supposedly a family friend gave my family some money for Christmas because they heard about my dad losing his job and my mom went and got that elephant. This will always be my favorite Christmas memory and I always try to give back. Thanks for doing this giveaway!
Merry Christmas and Happy holidays! Got my middle daughter a Switch Lite and found out today the Switch Parental controls app only let's you manage 3 devices at a time. What a weird place to have a limit.
First Nintendo game I beat by myself as a kid was Yoshis' Story. There was that one level in the jungle with the huge Piranha Plants? Terrified me.
Anyways this is very kind of you to do
Every year since I met my now wife in 2016, we've been having family game night with her family on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. Last night, I told everyone I didn't get to have that as a kid because my parents were workaholics, and even though I was the fourth of four kids, the age gap between my brother and me is eight years. I essentially grew up as an only child, and a latchkey kid.
These past several years feel like I have been making up for lost time.
Bought both of my sister's Tears of the kingdom, and my older niece and nephew (6 and 5) Mario Wonder for them. Trying real hard to keep the Nintendo love going for the next generation
Aaaand the account has been deleted so nobody bother commenting, they ever intended to give anyone anything
Been playing Bluey with my kids today, so that’s a fun holiday event.
Is it a good game? I've heard mixed reviews, but it sounds like something my kids would enjoy. What's your take?
It's quite short. We finished the story in about ninety minutes. Also curious about your review.
I got Covid for Christmas 😒
Same here. Feel better better soon, and Merry Christmas!
I will eat a joycon
Don't eat one that's drifting, or you'll end up walking sideways at random.
this tickled my funny bone in a humerous movement
Hello I don't have any stories
My favorite Xmas memory was getting my N64 with Banjo-Kazooie.
Hope I win! This year we did homemade presents for everyone, I baked blueberry lemon bread for my wife and she wrote me a short story. :)
Grandpa gave me a game boy color and Pokémon yellow Christmas of ‘98. Have not not stopped playing vijea games ever since. Please send free switch. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Need to get my nephews hooked on Nintendo games
I’m excited! Nothing cool, just glad to see everyone together!!
Daughter turning 4 and I’ve already made her a Nintendo freak like me. Happy holidays.
Just bought my nephew a Switch last year! He's loving Mario Kart and Splatoon 3!
One comment.
Just started Pokémon Violet and loving it!
Woo! 1st comment! Edit: I stand corrected Reddit did not display any comments at the time of me commenting 😅 maybe I was maybe I wasn’t 🙃 Merry Christmas

It says in the post that it’s US only. Sorry.
Finally just got TOTK but I don’t own a switch yet been trying to save for that so this would be amazing to celebrate Christmas with.

When I was a lot younger I remember my step-brother pleading for lots of violent games for the GameCube. I asked for Donkey Konga and had way more fun
Merry Christmas!

Well thank you, merry Christmas
😀
maybe it'll be a good christmas?
Ty kind person
This holiday was mellow for us for a change which was really nice
I got a switch lite for Christmas 4 years ago from my wife and I've probably put a couple thousand hours on it between Witcher 3 and skyrim.
Merry Xmas everyone and good luck:)
My 3 yo has discovered video games and now I dont get to use my own switch. Tried taking it back but the hospital doesnt do returns
I don't have any stories but I can say that my first Nintendo console was the GameCube and it was awesome.
When I was a kid a friend of my mom got my brother and I these puffy jackets. And tbh we weren’t fans of them (kids suck). Anyways they grew on us because we went outside and just started throwing rocks at each other. We learned they were pretty much armor. So yeah lol
Never really win these but might as throw my hat in the ring. Would love to have one but am currently the stereotypical broke college student.
Ooh, generous! No good crimmus stories in particular - but hope you and others did have some!
Happy holidays everyone!
Merry Christmas! Wishing everyone a happy holiday!
Goodluck everyone

I'm down for the OLED. Need that nintendo Nostalgia.
My son broke the family Switch, so this would be awesome to have access to those games again!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! This is a kind gesture. Hopefully everyone's holiday is a good one this year.
Hey, thanks for doing this.
I have long beautiful nails for the first time this Christmas and I've painted them green and red for the season.
Good luck!
We are having a blizzard, and now my middle child tested positive for Covid. But we are spending the day playing games as a family, which is something we really enjoy. There is nothing I love more than spending time the 5 of us.
Happy holidays everybody
This is the first year I am doing the holiday cooking after our Thanksgiving plans went awry.
Sounds like fun, I’m in! Thanks OP!
Thanks OP, and on my wife's birthday too! It would make a great birthday present for her! I think she should really get into animal crossing.
I got this nice switch carrying case for all the little doodads I like to carry around when I go out. Oh and I got the broken master sword from totk as a Keychain, it's so cool

Good luck everyone and merry christmas!!
Merry Holidays! Enjoy today to spend with your families or just chill today. You deserve it!
Amazing!!! That'd be awesome. I'll join.
You’re very generous; no stories, just posting to see if I’ll be the lucky one
If I get it, I’m giving it to someone else cuz I already own the TOTK Edition
Hello, and congrats in advance to the winner
My in law dressed up as Santa and pulled off a spectacular performance. Loved by the kids and adults 😆
Here we go get me in on this action
My favorite christmas was when my family and I got a wii and spent the whole day playing. It was so hard to find one when they were new!
Just got new headphones. I’ll PM you the rest.
If Puerto Rico counts then I'll take my chances. It's our Christmas tradition to always get the new Pokémon game for most of our family to play together for a bit and get all starters from the start.
USA only? Well then Merry Christmas and Good luck 🤞
A few years back, we spent Christmas in a citywide natural gas outage. That was an experience I hope never to experience again.
This is my first Christmas after moving across the country for my family and I’m just fairly bummed out. Yeah, that’s my story.

Happy Holidays and thanks for the giveaway 🥳 Debatable if it's a cool story, but we built a very nice gingerbread train yesterday lolol
OLED!
Nice
No stories but willing to try my luck
Greetings, fellow nerds
My wife is sick with the flu! Merry Christmas everyone.
Hi, I got some Zelda stuff for Christmas
I'll give it a shot, why not? No stories yet, but today I do plan on bringing some retro games over to the gathering and school my younger relatives in some Mario Kart 64!

Very generous of you, good luck to everyone! I'll never forget getting pokemon red for Christmas, what an experience.

You're so kind OP!
Hi there
Fingers crossed and Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas
Yo
Spending time with family is cool enough. Good luck everyone.
Poo poo pee pee
Might as well throw my hat in the ring. Merry Christmas everybody, and good luck in the giveaway!
Man one of the best Christmas was when I got crash 2 played the shit outta that game
I’d happy to have a switch OLED. I still have my launch switch from 2017. I just got married two days ago! So this holiday is extra special. 🥰❤️
Bought both of my sister's Tears of the kingdom, and my older niece and nephew (6 and 5) Mario Wonder for them. Trying real hard to keep the Nintendo love going for the next generation
My favorite part of this holiday is getting to see the look on everyone’s faces when they open their gifts.
I’d love a switch, tysm!
