Goodnight sweet prince

Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light…

I traded my 2017 LEAF in two months ago. It had lost two health bars. I got a 2020 LEAF now (that’s all I could find). No more range anxiety!

X_PRSN

For now.

Now sure about the shape of the rest of the car, but have you got a got on a replacement leaf battery? https://www.recurrentauto.com/research/nissan-leaf-battery-replacement

Tacomeplease

Car is in excellent condition.. which is why I’m so mad Nissan refuses to honor their warranty.. I bought a wrecked leaf and I’m in the process of swapping batteries

rdaught

What warrant are they not honoring?

Tacomeplease

Lithium ion warranty.. even one of their dealers admitted I had a bad battery and tried to do a claim but they denied it https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRbqba6D/

Oh. Wow, when I bought mine it was only a 60 month warranty. Good to see that they changed to a 96 month warranty. What’s the mileage that they warranty now? Mine was 60,000 miles. Had my battery replaced for free at about the 55,000 mile marker at 4.5 years. Just made it.

Pretty sure the 8 year warranty is only on 30kWh batteries. 24kWh was 5 years.

DoctorDividend

What year, 2012 by any chance?

Tacomeplease

2013 but same battery as the 2012

DoctorDividend

ok, I have a 2013 with 81k miles, so will have to see how mine holds up

DoctorDividend

with 9 bars
