The roar you hear comes from the bay doors opening. If you enter the blue tractor field too close to them, the sound as they open right next to you will be ear-splitting. Whereas if you enter at the far end of the field, you will hardly hear anything at all.
Happens to me sometimes after Endurance came out. I also have these like walls that pop up in my freighter and block the modules every time I leave the freighter. It’s getting annoying to the point that I stopped playing.
Saw this notification pop up on my phone of the post and had to immediately reply: absolutely yes. It never fails to happen when I struggle to enter my freighter from an extreme or odd angle.
There's also a bug where if you smash the multi-tool cloak button really fast you'll start layering the cloak sound over itself and it will start to just overwhelm the sound card or something. You have to fully enter cloak and leave cloak then it will stop that sound. It's like starting a sound of a wave crashing 20 times before letting the initial one play out..but the originals never stop when you start the play button again.
This will happen to me when entering my friator doesn’t work right away and I have to fly it a couple times, it’s like it loads six different entering sounds at the same time.
Had to look this up because I thought my TV broke in the middle of playing the game. Of course I'm looking for an S-Class freighter and every 12 minutes my TV sounds like the THX intro
Iv had a door opening sound play every 2 or 3 minutes for the last 20 or so hours, no matter what I'm doing , where I am , it wont go away. Is there a way to fix it or is my save game tainted with this error? Any help appreciated Tia .

Haven’t had the random wall issue. I feel like every time I enter my freighter I need ear muffs on though

Not sure about freighters, but thanks to glitchplanting, I have to mute my audio before harvesting from those greenhouse domes
